Bad service. Incompetent employees. Pure profit and zero customer orientation

Spend the night in the (new) Eden VIP bungalows. Very nice spacious bungalow, neat / clean park, very nice swimming pool.

First the positive, the complex is quite large, there are many activities to do, especially for the little ones, there is a lot to experience.
Due to Corona you have to book everything in advance, but we could live with that.

What we noticed very negatively was the accommodation, so dirty and getting old that doesn't work.
When we arrived we were told that it was a newly renovated hut, on arrival we noticed that everything was old, dirty, broken and smelly.
First we cleaned the booth so that we feel comfortable.
The food in the park takes getting used to, but I think it's a matter of taste.

Great park, below average accommodation. Hair from different people in the tub, round corners, leftovers of various meals including black mold on the high chair. Luckily our kids are big enough that they do not need him.
The houses are old is known before, but I expect a certain amount of cleanliness.

Old-fashioned houses + decor, but great swimming pool and other facilities. Also a nice area with a lot of peace.

Booked a mid week here during half term. Checking in and out was a pain, really need to sort out your logistics as we were stuck in the car for half an hour! Cottage needed an update, just like much of the park. Swimming pools were okay, the snorkeling pool was great but no herbal pool.
Food was nice but not out of this world and quite pricey.
This may have been a top resort in the past but those days are long gone, pity.
All in all a bit of a disappointment, will not be staying here again, but will most likely return for a swim.

We had booked through TUI, unfortunately double bookings were made upon arrival. But CenterParcs has solved this well !! I had 2 houses in a week and the last house was a VIP.
Everything was clean.
An APP to make a reservation also worked very well!

A downside: some people just leave their car at the house while this is not allowed and there is a piece of paper between the wipers. (Except people with exemption)

For 5 stars not what we expected because of other 5 star parks.
Nevertheless, nice to stay for a weekend.

House was fine but faded glory (VIP house), not being able to eat in the evening because they had forgotten us in the restaurant and there was a lot more wrong, they did try to make a good bottle of wine afterwards but if you only have one weekend is still 1 night away / ruined. In addition, they advertise baby swimming as if it is a standard and on arrival they casually said it was not on the program for the entire weekend without reason. This is not clear! And this was one of the biggest reasons for us to choose this park. Checking in and out is done from your car which is handy and things are accelerated but also impersonal. Although you also do not want to go to the reception if you have been in the car for half an hour (at least) in the traffic jam to enter the park at all. The breakfast that is brought consists of 3 different sandwiches which unfortunately are not freshly baked but are very dry, too bad. Next time probably landal again. We were very disappointed and expected better for the fact that you have a VIP house, this should be one of the better parks of Center Parcs and for that price. Swimming pool is nice but are too few changing rooms for a baby and very busy so had to wait 1x even 20 minutes with our baby.

Huttenheugte is better and more fun. This was fair.

In July, we were at the Het Heijderbos CenterParks. This was our first and last stay at CenterParks. We booked a VIP cabin after renovation. The most expensive option. 3 days before the departure date I got a message that the cottage is not available due to a breakdown. We were offered a lower class house with a refund of 60 euros. When booking, the price difference was much higher.
After 4 calls and 1.5 hours of talks and negotiations, we were offered a house supposedly renovated three years ago with the same package. After reaching the place, we got the keys and a lot of various documents. Among other things, the entrance to the swimming pool. 6 tickets for 3 people !!!!!!!!!
It turned out that we can only enter the swimming pool twice for 1.5 hours during the entire 5-day stay. Tragedy. This was supposed to be the highlight. Nobody had informed us about this before. There was no information on the page. No additional tickets could be purchased. If I had known there was a limited entrance to the pool, I would never have gone camping paying 1200 euro for a cottage. You have to pay for each additional attraction, and that's not the end of expenses. Food only good in Italian restaurant. Now our house. House no. 682 was supposed to be renovated recently (around 3 years). There was a bad smell inside. a lot of flies like in a stable. Dirty walls. Sticky floor. legs in beds bent. I got 2 flypaper for FREE. Dirty glass in the door to the garden. I have photos for confirmation. Overall we are very disappointed with this trip. The booking fee is only half the cost. I will never use CenterPark services again

The booked VIP house was very worn and also dirty! Dead mosquitoes stick on the ceiling and in every corner plenty of spider webs. After the complaint we were offered another house, however, the change was only after 5 days possible, which with a booking of 7 days hardly makes sense! The VIP house 981 is not recommended and not worth !

Arrives yesterday. Happy hour at Grand Cafe on cocktails from 5:00 pm-6:00pm.
It is 5:05 pm and had to wait a good 10 minutes before we were helped and no it was not busy.

We decided to leave, except for the feeling that the (welcome) cocktail was given to us.
So bad.....

We were in Center Parc at the end of October.
Since my wife was here as a child, we decided to go to this park. We have also been to another Center Parc in the Netherlands.
We have found a cheap offer for a hotel room including breakfast.
The following impressions are only experiences we made during the days there.
It does not reflect the condition of the bungalows.

To our room:
The bed had feet that were partially completely loose. If you had moved too much, it would have collapsed 100%.
The glasses and dishes were not washed.
When we first had to rinse, I cut myself on a glass that had long since had to be disposed of because of a nasty crack.
Kitchen was microscopic.
No oven, no dishwasher.
Ok but certainly not very luxurious.
What was really great in the room was the whirlpool function on the bathtub and the rotating TV. Admittedly, at Center Parc, time is not spent in a room or bungalow, but in the park.

So now comes the more important part.
The park is beautiful, there are many opportunities to be busy.
Inside or outside.
The centerpiece is of course the swimming pool.
That s really nice. The wild water course is really fun. We really liked the outdoor golf.

All in all, the park is especially recommended for families, if you don't have a problem with the fact that the park and some of the rooms are getting a bit old.

We always loved to spend relaxing time in Center park.

But this time...
The place is getting old and a visual lack of maintenance is very present all over the park.

The food inside the Plaza was very disappointing. Taste- and price wise. Also, staff we had spoken too did not seem to be customer service educated. A smile and friendliness gets a lot done.

Hopefully they will get back to their former glory.

Park is really outdated. Bungalows seems unaffected since the 90s. Good service and good service, but for the price, maintenance and renewal can really go the extra mile.

Last week for a week and never had such a good time in a park like on Heijderbos. We had a kids bungalow and this was perfect with 2 small children. Swimming pool very nice, and clean large changing rooms. And of course nice slides. Jungledome is also great to entertain with the children. If there are problems, they are taken seriously and immediately resolved. This park is definitely worth your money. We will definitely be back!

A holiday park which despite its age is technically at a very good level. Everything was perfect in our house. The TV was a bit small and had little German programs preset, but because you because of the rich offer of pleasure anyway not so long in the house lingered, that hardly reduces the overall impression.
A vacation in which unfortunately passes the time quickly and there is no boredom.

We stayed in the park for a week in March and had a VIP vacation home. Absolutely not recommended for people with house dust allergies! For everyone else, have a vacuum cleaner in hand and the hut is clean after 20 minutes. The houses are very functional and not fraught with great luxury. We had two very nice bathrooms and a bath and shower, each connected to the bedroom. The only drawback was the only toilet which was in the front of the entrance area of the house and is almost too small for people from 1.90 meters in height. Acrobatic skills when putting on and taking off pants and when sitting down are an advantage here. A second larger toilet is definitely missing here! The sauna could be regulated to a limited extent and also visibly from the state from the end of the 80s, the wood paneling arches in all directions and it creaks frighteningly at the slightest movement. We booked the breakfast package and had bread rolls in front of the door every morning. The rolls were OK. The park itself is beautiful, pure forest location. However, tree care should be reconsidered / improved here in particular! We had a storm for two days and rain the rest of the week. Most of what was hanging on the deadwood came down. It can be done better and, above all, safer!
Overall, we were very satisfied. We were aware that all non-inclusive services cost a lot of money.

The reason for two stars is not one of the aforementioned points!

We were in the park for my birthday, and my family came to visit for two days as a surprise. We went to Aqua Mundo on Saturday, the swimming pool was very full, if not overcrowded! There are sufficient lifeguards in the bathroom, but they cannot keep track of everything. So the doom took its course. With my parents, brother-in-law and my two nieces we went to the whitewater in the pool. We slid down one after the other with sufficient distance, but more and more people squeezed into the train, overtook themselves or stopped in the middle. The lifeguards sat or stood at various sections on the edge, no one kept order here. In the last section, my mother avoided someone "standing still" and hit the side of her head against the stone walls. My birthday surprise was gone and my mother drove back to the hospital with my father twenty minutes after arriving in the park in Germany, where her wound had to be stitched! The frightening thing was that I fished my mother out of the water in the last section completely dazed and the lifeguard only came to help after yelling at several times. Well noticed he was sitting 3-4 meters away from us! There is still a lot to learn here when it comes to safety.

Little to do for older children. Furthermore expensive for escape room

Less good than other Center Parcs we've been to. Especially the pancake restaurant was a big disappointment: unfriendly and unfair service, menu looks much different than what you get yourself and was not tasty

Cottage was not properly clean the cottage smelled of smoke and sitting holes in the curtains toilet really an old cottage gave us a pleasant stay.

Found it nice and cozy but I think they can do something about the interior after all those years

In the meantime very old. It looked like that 30 years ago.

Two very relaxed weeks spent here. Just a dream with child and dog.

500 euros per night for a house.

Summing up everything that is wrong:

* Dishwasher drawer broken
* Toilet seat loose / wobbles
* Bath and shower head damaged,
* Bath / shower tub damaged, water does not drain properly
* Filthy sealant edges in the bath.
* Mattresses saggy. Chopped more than 5 / 10cm
* Only a microwave, (no combi oven)
* Spaces especially stink the entrance
* Furniture damaged
* Premium prices for activities

All in all: A lot of money for a hopelessly outdated stay. You can expect a lot more for this money.

Nice park, stayed in an apartment for the first time. Spacious and clean. Noisy because you are very close to the market dome.

Super nice and cozy park! A wonderful day of swimming.

Used Center Park quality. Very quiet!! Great house in the middle of the forest. Aqua Mundo and the other activities can certainly convince. There is also something for everyone from massage to painball. We certainly will not have been here for the last time.

Lovely day of swimming then not expensive eaten a fries and yes from 1300 to 2000 hours was long enough, I thought so

Hard to top as a family experience. The swimming pool and Junge Dome are the best of all Center Parcs, the morning and evening buffets are plentiful (good if they should be at the price) and the activities varied. The corona management is excellent and well thought out, you can do almost anything with restrictions. Thank you for this great vacation!

Is a great facility, a little getting old, the staff is friendly. Could not complain.

Midweek in premium cottage .... on arrival, fridge in the living room (others were broken), dirty underpants from previous guests under bed, very tired accommodation .... definitely not worth the money!

Cozy for a holiday on home soil only a little pricey

Had a nice holiday because of good company. Park itself is unclear. You are always looking for where you are. Also in the pool. Inventory of poor quality. Currently a lot of renovation work. Water outside the central lake is not suitable for fishing due to the debris in it. Jungle dome not visited due to crowds and because it can only be booked at the park (not in the app or on the columns). In terms of quality, I think it is certainly not worth the five birds that CP gives the park.

Nice wooded park. There are some outdated accommodations, but also new and luxurious houses. Beautiful plaza with lots to do. Nicely built with a nice terrace surrounded by greenery, water and animals. Swimming pool is incredibly fun for young and old. Then you also have the jungle dome. Fun for young and old to climb and clamber. Nice animals walk and fly and lots of green.

You can also do many outdoor activities. Price is reasonable for the things you can do there. We like to come to Centerparcs and this is a park that is in the top 5 with us.

Relax or unwind, or participate (in time) with various activities.
Entertainment for young and old

We only used the fun pool as day guests. This is good, but not as good as hoped. Showers and sanitary facilities are located in the transit area to the bathroom, not separated by gender and openly visible. I found that very annoying. The wild water course is really wild. I'm actually fearless about doing that, having every slide in Aquatica water park in Orlando / Florida, but here I saw a real risk of injury. The people slip completely uncontrolled and confused along the rapids, I could not answer with my 11-year-old son.

The prices for snorkel sets are not traceable. In the shop outside the bath 30 , later seen in the bathroom a better snorkel set for 20 . Of course it was too late. This also applies to other products. So watch out.

Are now a long weekend in Heijderbos. Before booking I made a special call to ask if the whole park was wheelchair friendly because of 1 wheelchair and 1 walker. She told me it was. Well not. And that the car with a disabled card could reach the house was unfortunately not the case. A good solution seemed to us the golf cart or something like it, but no, they have been fully booked for entire weekends. You can't do anything here. From the 1.5 hour swim we stood in line for 20 minutes to get in and fifteen minutes earlier we had to get out. What heijderbos itself cannot do much about, but the people themselves is that they smoke extensively on every terrace and entrance. Phew, tiring at a children's park.

I didn't do the last star because the whitewater course is really wild and the tables at the restaurants are a bit dirty. You can live with it though. You just have to grab a napkin and put your cutlery on it

Arrival:
The park is certainly not suitable for people with lazy feet. 15 minutes to get to breakfast is enough, even at a faster pace. The signage is for the bucket, sometimes there are no signs. Then these signs are absolutely contradictory. Catastrophe.

"Houses":
We had to wait a long time to be allowed into our homes due to cleaning. Nothing was seen of this cleaning! So nothing at all. The rooms were filthy cobwebs everywhere, dust and dirt that you could have easily removed with a rag or vacuum cleaner. The separate toilet was still very dirty and thanks to the lack of a window or ventilation it stank very strongly! Everywhere were animals, beetles, worms, spiders, mosquitoes, snarks. Nightmare.
The kitchen was quite well equipped. The touted TV was smaller than any standard laptop screen. I see family-friendly differently if you don't want to sleep in the leisure pool.
Shop:
The options for shopping are ok and the prices are relatively ok too, I imagined it to be worse.

Eat:
Numerous delicious restaurants, especially the breakfast buffet was great.

Conclusion: delicious food, fair prices (for food) but underground dirty and a real cheek. The price / performance ratio is absolutely not right.
The advertised pictures are an absolute ADVERTISING LIE!

We had a nice holiday. A nice house and had a lot of fun.

A nice experience in this CenterParcs .. immersed in the woods .. we have been 4 days of absolute relaxation and fun .. every day they always had different entertainment programs to please young and old .. we will return

Center Park Het Heijderbos a park with 5 birdies (stars). This can be said of the Aqua Dom and Market Dom and also about the very very friendly staff. Even the swimmer clears the tablet. For families with children there is nothing better. Activities are enough for everyone. But where there is light is also shadow. Our Premium Bungalow 26x and its carpets are already getting old and as already described by some, smelled very musty and musty. Even our clothes smelled like a muff a day later. Something has to be done here. The beds were good and covered, but only at 16:30 clock. A final cleaning was probably not. We have visited some center parks in 15 years but we have never had such a house.

Nice park. Enough to do . Houses are laughably old. You pay between 1300 and 2300 per week for a heavily dated house. This simply cannot be explained to your customers. Prices have to go down . Furthermore, fine to our liking. In bad weather, corona offers few possibilities for entertainment and in the catering industry it quickly fills up.

Our house was about 15 minutes walk to the pool away. Since the weather was good, we did not mind. House was super equipped, swimming pool class, as well as Indoorminigolf and the Jungledome.

Our children love this center park. And we can also relax.

We are here with the family right now, and what can I say today came the disillusionment ... except for the swimming pool everything is closed at 5pm. It is a shame and disappointing for us and especially the kids. Were very often in the center park. Must say has waned very much

The bungalow was so clean, and about 10-15 minutes walk from Market Dome. The swimming pool and the Jungle Dome were again top. What bothered me was that you had to pick up a roll for 20 minutes in the morning. All in all it was a nice weekend, always happy

My bungalow was old and small. It deserves a little more uplifting decorations and a new, more modern, look. The park itself is very nice. It has a big pool and the game hall is a great place to spend time.

Nice park for children very nice pool to entertain you and in, also for the elderly a suitable park various options BV tennis, also grateful use of the cards that you got at the entrance to get in for free, we were 16 people in three different houses, two houses stood side by side and the other two houses further. Houses were not so modern but then to sleep and stay they were good, best entertainment with z, n all.

VIP house looks less luxurious than in, for example, erperheide. Nevertheless, it is a super cozy park with enough activities for young and old. Real holiday feeling!

Nice swimming pool, nice slides and whitewater rink

I LOVE this park. Have been there since 2013 and still love it !!!!

Swam in aquamundo, costs 16 euros pp and the amount of swimming and playing water is limited by the huge amount of people. Ridiculous. French fries were poor and not well cooked but three euros! And the changing rooms were pretty dated. Just go to Gochness!
