Very old changing rooms, even the showers outdated and far too little exactly as 29 years ago, nothing invested. For the price you get really nothing offered, too expensive, dirty, and even a star is too much !!! We are VERY disappointed, rather go somewhere else! One water slide the other is connected to the wild water course and the wave pool is a joke !!!

The cottages are very relaxing. Many nature and more, giving a real holiday feeling. There is a jungle hall and you can swim here. There are plenty of places to eat and you can also cook in your cottage.
enjoyed in 1 word there is everything to do for young and old. the plaza and pool great. the whitewater course the oldest child had to wear a lifejacket for 6 years despite 3 diplomas and this is certainly advisable. the jungle dome is nothing for the youngest child 3 years because there is simply no overview. for the rest just enjoyed toppie
This park is a big disappointment. It is deeply sad that in a country like the Netherlands there are holiday parks where everything is really bad ... Houses are completely written off, flammable and not clean. Here after many conversations with reception 75 euros in vouchers for compensation ... actually we wanted to leave but money back was not possible. The facilities such as swimming pool, play equipment are old and due for demolition. Don't go here !!!
Stay with 6 people in a bungalow house around Christmas. The cottage is much too small for 6 people or it is intended that you sit together on your lap in the evening. Many things were broken; the heating had to have a 2x reset every day, the outside umbrella was broken, the frames were rotting, no oven present (or in the house next door) and no box for our little 5-month-old what was in the description again. The mattresses would also be replaced because they were completely collapsed, but there has never been anyone with new mattresses. The other accommodations such as swimming pool and restaurant were fine. You could notice that the employees were clearly holiday power.
Stayed at this location last week, had a relatively nice week. Number of points of comments about the cottage, the managers of the various professions. May a little more check or do additional training, to what the customer gets !!!
The house could be made more dust-free, the ventilation grilles were full of dust! In addition, I had a mattress that had completely sagged, and had asked for another one that was there, but was too big. Then got a shelf under the mattress and I had to do with it. Bad option in itself because my back is relatively bad now!
Personal is friendly, only the senior gentlemen should pay more attention to the cottages, because we were told to have a newly renovated cotagge.
After 28 years here again, so much has not changed, still nice with or for the children.
Houses way too dated, holes in the bank, the (butter) milk residues from the previous guests were still in the glass. There was still stuff from the previous guests such as deodorant and cleaning stuff.
The floor was too dirty for words, mop never got requested. Mopped the floor 2x with dishcloths (were with a baby, so clean floor is important to us)
And you pay almost 800 for a weekend.
So, finally time to improve here again ...
I have a third star after my vacation set because it earned the staff on each floor. If there were half stars, then I would count half a star for Center Center's actually responding to my assessment. That really impressed me, that you read this and react to it. My respect!
An extra compliment to the staff of the Pancake House! I have read many negative reviews on the internet and can not understand it. The staff were all very friendly and the pancakes were great! Anyone expecting American pancakes here is simply out of place and on the wrong continent. The pancakes are suuuuuper!
The breakfast buffet was great and the concierge service was good and quickly taken care of our toilet problem.

My personal main problem with the park is the location. You drive everywhere quite a long time. And we never spend the whole time in the park. The renovations are scheduled for next year and maybe we will come back. Who knows...
And here is my first text:
I'm sorry, but Het Heijderbos will not be my center parc. For 12 years we drive into a Center Parc on vacation. Thus one compares unfortunately automatically. And one or the other renovation would be necessary. We are here for one and a half weeks and that's why I'll write something later.
Afterwards it turned out that Centerparcs had charged too much tourist tax. Despite asking for a solution several times by e-mail, people do not respond at all! Ridiculous! Customer unfriendly! Apparently it's all about the money and not the customer.
Beautiful park entertained us well in luxury large house could have been slightly cleaner for me for that price heating piece on arrival was 11 degrees inside
I think it's a nice park because I've been there 4 times a week and will soon go to the park for another week, there is always something to do for young and old. i give it ***** 5 stars
Visit the Aqua Mundo experience - bath. Here you can, albeit relatively expensive, spend an absolutely great day in the diverse tropical water world. There are several pools for small children, a large swimming area with wave pool. Highlights are definitely the whitewater course and the small outdoor area where you can dive aquariums with tropical fish.
Nice park! Many outside and inside activities, we also enjoyed the house.
The showpiece of Center Parcs. Ideal for young and old. Spacious, lots of parking space. Cottages are well furnished.
And of course the Jungledome is a beautiful indoor playground for the climbers and the Aquamundo for Waterrats. The subtropical super experience.

Was indicated by 5 birds. Which means that according to centerparcs it is one of the best parks. I found it, compared to other parks, not worth the 5 birds. Fun to do in the area, zooparc Overloon.
Fantastic experience here this week..one thing that is really bugging me is the care for the nesting birds on the main lake... today I witnessed a fully laden Gogo boat drive straight in to a nest containing a young chick,( I'm unsure of the breed/type of bird) the nest was destroyed, baby was barged out the way. Luckily dad found baby whilst mum rebuilt the nest..I returned later to find the nest nearly rebuilt and all birds doing ok.. perhaps you could educate people on the importance of staying away from nesting birds at the time of hire as I very much doubt this was a one off... ideally you will cordon off the areas of nesting birds but depends how much care is on offer for the birds.. great job otherwise het heijderbos team.
Much ado about little. The VIP house is a holiday home equipped with cheap materials. Repairs are done on the fast and the facility is worn in many places. The beds are the negative "highlight". The mattresses have so deep that it is like lying in a hammock. Lateral and abdominal sleepers have pain the next morning.
Overall, the house is located in the lower two-star area. As an offer in the off season just bearable, but in the annual holiday to the season I would have regretted to have booked here.
Nice park, houses are due for renewal, but the renovation is in the planning.

During the heat wave there were no air conditioning or screens so that the windows could be left open at night. It was unbearable indoors (30+ degrees). VIP Eden house was not properly cleaned and suffered from many vermin. Many defective parts in the bungalow such as extraction, curtains, kitchen equipment fan and TV remote controls. Park is dated. Restaurants expensive and not tasty. For 1400 euros p / w you expect better.
Large family park. Lots of outdoor activities outside of corona time. Now you could relax if there are no continuous construction noise (the park is, rightly, being renovated) or even more annoyingly, the almost always present noise from the highway, which is next to the park. Not a great success for us, but a nice park with children.
There is nothing better with children.
Well, the parc is a bit old, but you can also see a lot of renovations.

Very large and beautiful facility. There is plenty to see and do. The swimming pool was the highlight for the kids.
Very dissatisfied with Center Parcs Heijderbos. Despite the fact that we realize very well that they have many restrictions in the facilities due to corona, you do pay for them and they fail in every way. In addition, they close the pool for 95% unannounced, namely no white water course, no slides, no wave pool, no outdoor pool and only 1 very dirty pool open. Why can't center parcs indicate this transparently in advance? In addition: products in the store past the date and no activities at all. This in addition to the current corona measures such as swimming only 45 minutes per stay and 45 minutes in the jungle dome, all catering facilities closed and only 1 person per household in public buildings such as market Dome and the game hall. That really doesn't make it any cozier.
Finally, Center Parcs itself makes a great promise to compensate you because the pool is out of order. So we still haven't received it after 5 weeks.
We were there for the first time about 30 years ago and always like to come back, although the food in the restaurants has declined greatly in terms of variety and taste. The cottages are pretty good.
Center Parcs is always worth a visit. Quiet environment despite bungalow near the center. Many activities for all ages. We have stayed here so many times but it never gets boring. A visit to the Efteling amusement park is also worthwhile.
Poor service if you have to go home with a sick baby within 24 hours, too bad, money gone!

We have been in last half term holiday. Great park. It is a pity that we got a house where smoking is allowed at last minute booking. Not a pleasant smell. This with 2 small children is not really healthy . No. 167 Could not adjust this with online booking. Should be reported anyway. Outdated houses with worn-out salon and cigarette burn holes. Jungle Dome nice. Swimming pool children's pools difficult to access, large water bucket on slide that scares many children. Coral pool where diving goggles are not available ... Less supply than in other parks. Eg only 1 slide, so long queue ... At the pool bar a bit pushy for promos.
Supermarket meat offer for grill very small and usually sold out, deceptive dishes only pork and a little chicken, not top quality, 16 still pricey. Bringing your own meat or going to buy somewhere in AH in the area seems better and cheaper.

Like every Centerparcs, the locations are great, lots of entertainment for young and old, nice shops and swimming pools. However renovating the cottages (especially the beds and sitting area) would not be a luxury.

We are a young family with 2 children 7 years old and were looking for vacations for the winter school holidays and saw the commercial of Certerparc on TV. Since we have never been to a center parc the opportunity. Read many reviews on Centerparcs in advance, good and bad. We mostly had good experiences on site. More on that later. The few bad experiences right at the beginning of the booking process. Via the Internet you can select the desired location, travel period and accommodation and have found a supposedly cheap week in our travel period in Het Heijderbos. But what I only found later when researching on the Internet that if I had booked exactly the same thing via the Dutch Cernterparc.nl website, we would have paid 200 euros less. In times of the European Union, I don't think that's up-to-date and is not okay with German customers. Later, during the payment process, I also found that the price was suddenly 100 euros more expensive than I had previously been shown. On closer inspection, I found that there are additional costs, e.g. if the holiday home has a kitchen or 33 euros if I determine a holiday home with a number myself. Furthermore, many other completely overpriced activities are offered to you during the payment process, which we have foregone. e.g. towels, breakfast rolls to the house, the additional W-Lan for 40 euros. In the park there is the free basic wifi that was quick and easy. Think people who need a lot of data anyway have a mobile phone contract with flat rate and high data volume. The park has many outdated holiday homes, but this is well known and can be read everywhere on the Internet. Nevertheless, our house was clean and everything was available according to the Centerparc description. The staff is very friendly. Everywhere in the park you can see a lot of staff who look after the park and keep it clean. In the park itself there are many bars and restaurants where you can eat and drink well and expensive. We completely catered for ourselves during the week and used the saved money for leisure activities. Conclusion: The Centerparc is just right for families with small children and I can highly recommend it because of the many leisure activities.

Very expensive in proportion. House is dated, but clean. Are renovating now, should have been a little earlier. Activities fill up quickly, so you can hardly use them. Swimming time slots are also fast. Still a nice park with a nice dome.
Not the latest craze, but a lot to experience with a climbing park, EscapeRoom, bowling and nice restaurants like the Nonnas.
The AquaMundo has a great white water slide and the grotto for diving with the aquariums. Really pretty filed.
Some houses are in need of renovation. Jungle Dome is unique. So great. Very warm and much to discover and experience
The swimming pool at the park is wonderful and also very nice for all ages. The cottages are fine but could use some maintenance here and there. There are, however, some small waters around the houses that look very unkempt and unsanitary
It is a good park with many activities from climbing in the climbing forest to a nice splash in the pool ... It is sometimes a bit pricey but I am talking about it ... 1 tip beware of the whitewater course he is very wild and bumpy and at the end you are pushed down. For the rest there is also a restaurant and a snack bar, there is also a supermarket with a fresh bakery and an arcade for the children or you have to be a fan;)
Unfortunately we were disappointed right at the beginning. It is the sixth park we visit, unfortunately the reception was different. No welcome package (there was always). I was an early bird and actually Friends just couldn't do that online. The house was not cleaned until 3 p.m. and we could only move into it at 4 p.m.
The staff was totally stressed and overworked.
Activities vouchers could only be used for selected topics.
We liked the Aqua Mundo better in de huttenheute too.

Very good park with fantastic swimming pool incl. In addition, there are many other activities (boating, climbing, various sports, a lot for children). The point deduction is because the bungalows are noticeably getting old.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. For the first time in a Center Parc and probably for the last time. Unfortunately, the accommodations are very tired, run down and neglected. Too bad, because we were looking forward to the short stay and unfortunately were disappointed. Only the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good too and there is something for everyone. Something should definitely happen and until the planned redevelopment in 2020, you could for example make discounted offers to create a fair price / performance ratio and still get enough capacity. Dear Head, it MUST be responded. This is not a condition in our opinion.

A somewhat older park, but still sufficient for this time. Friendly staff, it is not intended that your car is at the cottage. That makes the park a bit quieter, but full parking space.
