Casino Miami, Cruise Ship. Review

We did the Norwegian Sky Cruise to Havana, Cuba and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas from Miami. We had a wonderful time. ALL the crew members were helpful, polite, friendly. The service was Great. Meals were on point daily. Would definitely do another cruise with Norwegian

Really can't say enough positive things about this cruise line. Love the activities on board. The crew is always so nice. The food at the buffet and the sit down restaurants is really good. Just expect to spend at least an hour at a sit down resturant. The freestyle eating option is really nice. I don't like the idea of having set dinner times with the same strangers all week on vacation. I like to eat when I want and with whoever I want and that is what you get with NCL.

After carnival screwed me, I went back to my roots with NCL. I am staying! The best cruise line ever!

Norwegian Sky's all inclusive cruise was great! We'd heard people complain about drink package limits and limited choices on alcohol with other cruise lines, but not with Norwegian! Everything you could want they had. Standard restaurants were great too! Just what you should expect from a cruise line. We're planning a repeat trip and have at least three couples planning to join us after hearing how great.

The entertainment is outstanding and so is the staff.

Love NCL. Itineraries are why we go. They visit more interesting ports per cruise. Food and service is good. Entertainment is great. Prices are excellent for what you receive

OMG. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... I cried the entire 2nd day.... PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH THEM... Room was filthy..Filthy.. Disgusting.... and when i called customer service they didn't acknowledge the problem but pointed out what i could have DONE different... although i didn't find them..I AM POSITIVE THERE WERE BED BUGS

I cruise on this ship here, baby let me tell you, this ship is so huge and long got to see it for yourself and the inside is beautiful.

My first experience and my family man it was awesome, so entertaining very secure wonderful hospitality, delicious food so many programs, we loved the shows.

This was our second cruise with NCL and we loved it. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They were all very professional and they made sure we had fun.

Fun cruise line! I love the Freestyle vibe where you are free to go aboitbyour day without worrying about making it to the dining room at a specific time everyday. Fun staff, great games and free drinks also make the Norwegian Sky experience so awesome!

The cruise was OK. I still prefer Carnival or Royal. The meals were not to par with the other cruise lines and I did not like to stop in their exclusive island in Honduras. Too artificial. I wish were had gone to the main port so that we could experience the country itself.

Super recommended, has all the services to be entertained on board.

So disappointed in this last cruise with Norwegian. I sailed them about 10 years ago and wasnt impressed, found a great price and decided to give it another shot as a surprise for my wife on our anniversary. Their concept of "freestyle" cruising fails miserably. The fact that the gratuities are automatically charged to your room each day makes for lack-luster service. The staff knows they are going to get tipped so they dont have to work as hard for it. There was ONE exception i the dining room we visited on our last night. I wish I could remember his name as our trip was four months ago, but I made sure to compliment him to his manager. The food was not great, even in the a-la-carte restaurants and I feel like I was being nickle-and-dimed for everything. I wont be sailing Norwegian again and certainly cant recommend it to anybody.

We cruised on the Sky, nice cruise ship. The all inclusive is a great option. We will plan another trip on the sky in the future.

Poor communication and average service all around. Beverage package, gambling and sales pitching future cruises were noticeably their number 1 priority. Cruise staff seemed less relaxed and more uptight as if they are forcibly asked to over emphasize that they are happy to be of service. Food lacked flavor most if the times especially for someone with a simple palette. I would suggest that the add a bit more carribean or island flavors/ selections to their dishes being that they are sailing to Latin or Caribbean islands. Shows were organized well and simple to attend. The choreography was simple and ship quality, not amateur dance level, but definitely Broadway style or Cirque Du Soleil by far. I am booking with Celebrity next because it was between Norwegians and Celebrity this time and I feel I made the wrong choice. The food quality on celebrity apparently is way better as well as the overall ship experience. This was consistent based on what others were stating on Norwegians. Choose well future travelers. Book within your means first and then book based on the food, itinerary and selection of activities next. Hope this helps

Always a great Experience here. Sad to see they are not sailing out of Houston anymore now I will have to catch them from New Orleans. Have taken about 4 Cruises with Norwegian me and the family love the service we recieve. Rooms very clean. Food way better than Carnival will never try that one again. Casino good selection of games, Entertainment was great! Loved the shows, funny commedians, very professional staff. Would definitely cruise Norwegian again. 4 Stars cause i have to travel further now to board lol. Still a good cruise line.

When parking make sure all your valuables are on your person as the people on duty stole one of our smaller bags and we did not notice until too late

The WORST experience of my life on NCL Spirit 13-23Dec 17 x-BCN. The guest services staff on board are rude, incompetent, and have no customer service skills. Our 2nd room should of had a prepaid alcoholic bev package, as this was on our paperwork. I had to argue and get really annoyed on boarding to get this mistake rectified that NCL created. No apology. When I went to pay my bill last night we had been charged for all of the drinks. It took NCL staff over 1.5 hrs to sort this out, again their mistake. When I asked to speak to the overall manager this fell on deaf ears. Most of this time was spent in a queue at the desk. There was a shift change in the back office finance team, crazy on the night everyone is sorting out their bills. No one cares at NCL and staff member Ladys Amarante at guest services needs to be retrained or sacked. I have never experienced such poor service when a company has made a mistake. No apology for their mistake which totally recked my holiday. What a waste of $6k.
I will be returning to Celebrity Cruises who know how to look after their passengers and who care about their passengers.

Umm, complimentary drinks , our room was simplest so nothing to brag about but it was below the kitchen and the crew could be heard until 2a.

Check-in is typically seamless. Boarding is about as efficient as you can make it.

Giving Norwegian cruise 1 star is extremely generous. By far the worst experience of my life! To start they charge you so many extra fees here and there that add up to be $400 per person in EXTRA FEES. Due to weather my flight to Miami from Washington DC was delayed and I couldn't arrive to the port on time. So I arranged to meet them at the first port in St Martin, keep in mind I have to miss 3 days of the cruise since they will be at sea. I asked them for anything to compensate for the lost days. They didn't pay for accommodation or give me a partial refund or even a voucher. I tried to negotiate with customer service but they put me on hold forever. Avoid this company! Stay away!

Went to Cuba. Room dusty. Tables all over boat not wiped. Very dissatisfied. Research trip thoroughly before going. Forget Cuba...not ready for US citizens.

I loved our experiences on the NCL Escape. This is my third time with Norwegian and will definitely not be my last. We have already booked on the Bliss and with several new ships coming we are excited for our future cruises. They have really developed since my first cruise with them much more relaxed and geared towards a broader audience.

It is a bit more expensive then Carnival and though I love Carnival for what it is, you get what you pay for. If you are flexible with dates you can get a good deal that usually includes unlimited drinks and upgraded restaurants.

Service was incredible! Through the efforts of crew members, a lost luggage at the embarking airport was somehow brought to our room at the 2nd port of our trip. And ALL service stayed at that awesome level throughout the cruise. Thank you NCL!

Not a happy camper. I specified at registration that I was gluten free and as far as I'm concerned they got it wrong more than right. Many nights I ate 2 slices of gluten free bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of the staff have no clue what gluten free is. The room was just so-so. Bed was uncomfortable. Cleanliness was also just so-so. Very few had respect for handicapped people.

We love cruising with Norwegian. Staff is very attentive to you needs. Complementary restaurants serve good food almost all of the time. Speciality restaurants for you guys who want the whole deal experience. Pleanty of good entertainment available in multiple lounges throughout the ship.

My over all experience was good. Although there were some hiccups. Number one, our sliding glass door was constantly whistling. We had people constantly in and out of our room to fix the door and it never really did get fixed. Number two, one of our excursions that was booked through the cruise line was absolutely a waste of money and the cruise line refused to refund our money. The staff for the most part was lovely, the food was great, and the entertainment was also great. Over all a good experience!

Not toddler or child friendly cruise. Went out of their way to let us know this and often made us feel unwelcome. Food was consistently cold and over cooked. Constant hidden fees with all inclusive packages

The staff on Norwegian is absolutely incredible, and there's never a shortage of things to do on the boat. The programming and the services were amazing.

All you can eat and drink with a phenomenal Dj on and off the ship.

Staying in the Haven is worth every penny. They will spoil you!!! You get 1st priority getting on and off ship, priority seating at shows, the use of different elevators.
