I called them they said they would call me back again.still waiting. I guess if you don't have perfect credit you don't count to them dont go here

This is my Second vehicle purchase at Carman Ford. I love my Explorer but having to take it in to service just two weeks after having it because a molding/panel blew off while driving was a pain in the butt. They ordered the piece and was supposed to call when it came in. I called them a week later from not hearing from them, then once scheduled a day to have it repaired a 10 minute fix took 5 hours. Totally inconvenient! Then they discovered that there was an additional piece they needed to complete the job in which that part came next day so my husband had to go there after work and wait about 30-45 mins but it was all just an inconvenience completely.

We purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from Carman in April...

We purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from Carman in April of 2013. This was our second Ford as the 2012 Fusion I bought became a trophy notch in the antler of some south Jersey deer. When this unfortunate event transpired, my wife and didn't hesitate for a second to return to Carman Ford Lincoln in New Castle, DE to buy anther Ford from Greg Grimaldi.

I didn't think that car buying could go more smoothly than when we bought our Fusion, but then we bought the Edge. The dealership didn't have an Edge with the options that my wife wanted, so Greg found us the perfect vehicle at a dealership in another state. He drove drove himself to pick up our vehicle and he delivered it when he said he would and at the price we agreed on (which by the way was much better than the Ford dealer near my house in Pennsylvania).

The service department at Carman is also top-notch. We attempted to use the dealer near our house for a couple of services, but soon found ourselves driving the extra distance for the expertise and peace of mind that they provide.

If I had to buy another vehicle tomorrow would I go to Carman? You betcha. We have now had our Edge for 3 years and Greg still calls every now and then to check in. The warranty is up and he still cares that we are satisfied with our purchase and to see generally how the family is. Any other dealer or business calls and I would cringe to answer it. Not Greg. That's the kind of service and care that you can expect when you buy from Carman, and Greg Grimaldi in particular and I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent experience. Told our salesman James what we were looking for & our price range and he delivered! Then we went back to Carman & one of their staff comes out and looks over the vehicle ( we only had it overnight) and points out a couple of minor imperfections he observed on the color finish ( mind you, we bought a pre-owned car) and told us to bring vehicle back so they could correct them. The average person would have never noticed- so that is outstanding customer service in my book. I do have one complaint- they wouldn't part with the Matthew McConaughey cut-out! So I had to settle for a picture. But we still came out happy satisfied customers with our "looks brand new" Lincoln!

I had a lot of questions and he answered them all and put me at ease. All the staff is helpful and willing to help. I bought my first F150 from them in 2000 and will continue to buy from them. I already knew that the Service department was top notch but I was equally impressed with the sales department. Just sent out the "Cash is King" mailer...which is a well known scam. Promising people that they have won thousands of dollars, only to state in the fine print that they haven't really won. No one should give their business to a dealership that sends out these types of unethical fliers. Shame on them. Edit: In response to their reply. It is deceptive. Period. If they view their customers as fools to be deceived, rather than fellow human beings to respect, that should tell you all you need to know about a company.

Car was in collision shop. The repair to damage appears okay however the paint job covered by insurance claim does not match my vehicle. Everywhere they worked on the vehicle appears to have a flat coat of paint .

RESPONSE: I contacted the shop this morning but they had no available appointments today for me to return with vehicle. I am scheduled to bring car in tomorrow morning. Also note my insurance doesn't seem receptive to giving me another rental because the claim has been closed, so that's another issue I have to handle. I simply expected a smooth outcome and instead it's turning into a migraine.

I actually walked in and put a request for a certain type of used car. I get a text weeks later with a walk around video of a car that came in that fit my needs perfectly.

The sales process was great and I feel the truck was a good deal. If the warranty holds true, this will be a great deal.

Zack was a 5 star salesman finding me a truck and getting me to spend money. That's not an easy process!

I plan on going back to Zach for my next purchase. No guarantees, but if he does like he did he will get my business again.

I worked with Greg Grimaldi on my recent purchase of a 2018 Ford Edge. Was extremely helpful and knew my time was limited in being able to get to the store to test drive. Had vehicle ready and felt no high pressure sales from beginning to end. Recently I came back to pick up my registration and tag and Greg made sure he personally put the tag on my car even though I could tell he was super busy with other customers. Here was my experience with carman Ford/Lincoln. About 3 months ago I financed a 2009 Lincoln MKS with about 100k miles on the odometer. They have have great service and they WILL get you in a car considering how bad my mothers credit is. Zach Lopes is the best salesman they have there and a really cool dude. He let me being 17 test drive a Ford Mustang GT and he wasn't even supposed to do that which was pretty awesome of him. All the others will try to pressure you and basically say come back with money, plans to buy a car or don't come at all. However beware of the cars they sell. The Lincoln MKS, which I drove for 3 MONTHS to work/school and back eventually needed a whole new engine. The cost of that? 7,000 repair and carman did not care one bit. In addition to that it was 3 grand above market value. Check NADA/KBB to make sure you're getting a good deal.
Conclusion; As you can see from other reviews there's some good cars here and there's some bad cars here but when you go to a big name dealership like carman and finance a car you should never have to worry about ever being stuck with junk. Buying a car from here is like rolling dice. Don't roll the dice unless you have EXTRA money to play with just in case you take a loss.
My advice; Carmax is just around the corner in Newark.

Dan Shine is tops. I bought my first lLincoln 2 years ago. It was a MKZ. I was extremely satisfied with the way the whole transaction was handled. I came back recently, traded my MKZ and bought a MKC. Great experience. The service department is tops. I always need a loaner and they provide it to me or rent one from Enterprise.

Today, my family as a whole, bought our third car with Jai Nichols at Carman Ford. He is hands down the best guy to go to. I have never felt more taken care of by a "salesman" EVER. He treats you just like family and looks out for your best interest! Add in the rest of the guys there that come and talk to you and help you through the process, you truly become part of the ford family! I will never go anywhere else or work with anyone else when looking for a car! I would recommend Jai to absolutely everyone. The staff has always been very friendly and professional; from the warm greeting you receive when you walk through the front doors to the knowledgeable sales staff. My latest purchase was a 2017 Lincoln MKC. When I requested an exterior color with specific interior features, Carman found me the perfect MKC that matched my wishes. We found her car at a great price thru the internet and Carmelita. Our Salesrep was Gary S. who was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, professional and above all, patient with my 70+ year old aunt. He VERY patiently went over all the new hi-tech features on the Lincoln MKS with her, at her pace, (covering several more than once for her). There was never any pressure to hurry nor did he ever give the impression he had other things to do. He treated her like a queen and she she loved it. He was excellent. The purchase was a very positive experience due to him and the others we dealt with.

HORRIBLE PLACE WITH CARS THAT BREAK DOWN DAYS AFTER BUYING. I purchased a car from the Lincoln side with the help of one of the salesmen. After a few days of negotiation and servicing they assured me the car was fully "serviced" however while test driving I heard weird noises coming from the engine. Days after purchase the car completely breaks down, and they were no help at all. Spent hours speaking with the service "director" Steve and manager Dan. I have never been more disgusted with a company. You would have better luck buying a car from a junk yard or riding a magic carpet, when compared to purchasing a car here. I have warned all my social media, friends, coworkers etc. to STAY CLEAR. I have contacted my attorney to see what I can do. Wish I could give them Zero Stars

I could not have asked for a better car buying experience. I received a pre-approval from Capital One Auto Finance prior to going to the dealership which cut down on half of the time. I inquired about my car online. Carmelita contacted me via email to set up an appointment. She was very professional and prompt with her responses. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by the Sales Manager, Todd. He was not the typical sales manager. He respected every boundary I set and was not pushy. Todd then introduced me to my sales associate, Marcus Mason. Marcus guided me through every step of the process. I was very nervous about the purchase but he made me feel calm. He had great vibes. I can t remember his name but the finance guy was amazing! He made me feel like family. Everyone at the service center was amazing as well. Tonya was very interactive and helpful. I don t remember the girl s name at the parts center but she was extremely helpful in assisting me with finding an affordable pair of rims for my car. Needless to say, I am in love with car and I am super happy that I purchased from Carman Ford. I would go through process again if I had to and would recommend anyone to them.

This dealership lives by the 10 foot rule. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The General Manager even came to talk with me. I was able to drive the vehicle home at night to show my family. There was a good selection of used cars to choose from, all my questions were answered, and assistance was given to coordinate my cell phone with the car. Scott Henning and Adam Johnson were very helpful in closing the deal. I highly recommend this dealership and the sales team.

I would give this dealership zero stars if it was an option. From the very beginning of the sales process, they have done everything they could to make it a horrible process. I ended up buying the car only because I finally got the price that I wanted to pay, but I've regretted the decision ever since.

I've been trying to get my car scheduled for a warranty repair of a seatbelt in my rear seat for over six weeks now. I've been told that they will need to keep the car for two days and that they will provide a loaner vehicle. I work 90 minutes from the dealership so I can only drop my car off on Wednesday evening, which I have communicated to the service department more than once. For the past six weeks, I've had the car scheduled three times for the same service, and it still hasn't been completed. At least I've been smart enough to call before I make the trip after work because they NEVER have a car available for me. Whenever I call the service department, my "advisor" Andrew is rarely ever available, and on the off chance I do get to speak with him, he never follows through with anything nor calls me back.

Today was the last straw. I had an appointment for my car scheduled for tomorrow morning, which I scheduled with the service manager, Paul. I called to confirm that there would be a car available and was put through to Andrew. He immediately put me on hold for 15 minutes, at which time I hung up and called back. I then got through to Megan, who put me on hold for an additional 13 minutes. Another woman then picked up the phone at 4:36 and told me that she would have to take a message because Megan had left for the day. I couldn't believe that she had me on hold and then just left! I asked the woman who picked up to ask Andrew to return my call before 5:00 because I had a 90 minute drive to get there. I received a call from Paul at 4:44. I told him that I was calling to confirm that there would be a car available for me tonight and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, even though I had spoken to him personally a week prior to schedule the appointment (after receiving a rude VM from him) and he told me that he would make a note on my service order and would make sure there was a car available.

Long story, but the short story is this: avoid this dealership at all costs! They have the absolute WORST customer service that I have ever come across. They don't care one bit for their customers after they sell you a vehicle. I've never been treated with such disregard. I don't know if it is because I'm a woman or if they are jerks to everyone, but after reading some of the other reviews here, I believe it may be the latter. I'm still so livid about this experience and it's so hard to put it into words, but if I can keep just one person from having the same horrible experience that I have, it will make it all worthwhile.

I found the used car I was looking for on-line at Carman Ford. Made arrangement to go see it. I was greeted by a salesman, Lucio. He was friendly and nice. I know he was interested in making the sale, but I did not feel pushed. In fact when I decided to purchase after test drive. I told him that I needed to do so in 1 1/2 hours or would need to leave an come back to finish another day. I have never gotten through a car dealership that quickly. They had me walking out the door sale completed in the time I said I needed to be done. They also arranged to deliver the car for me because I did not have anyone who could drop me off to drive the car home myself. The car is for my daughter who does not yet have her license. I could not have asked for a better sales experience.
