Carman Ford Review

I ve been buying Ford cars and trucks for 50 years from many different dealerships over the years. From the moment I first arrived at Carman I was graciously greeted by JJ, a Carman salesmen, and was impressed by his down to earth greeting and welcome. We were turning in our Lincoln MKZ for a new one. JJ was very helpful throughout the process from that first greeting to taking delivery of our new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. His manager Frank was also great. When I returned to select the color we wanted my wife (it s her car) was also impressed with the dealership. It seems they take every effort to be sure we re comfortable while waiting on the paperwork, several times offering us snacks and water, coffee, etc. I will probably be purchasing a new F150 next year to replace my current F150 Lariat. I will definitely return to Carman Ford and JJ as they are by far the best dealership I ve dealt with!

No Pressure - is a headline I would give to help describe my buying experience here. After you get comfortable in the showroom you get a strong sense of how clean, organized and professional this organization is. The sales specialists are warm and friendly, and eager to help you link your interests to the car of your dreams. There is no question that this was the best and most enjoyable car buying experience in my life, ( and I'm 64 ). I highly recommend a trip to this dealarship before you make any final decisions on purchasing a new or used vehicle. It is worth going out of your way to investigate, as I traveled out of state for this wonderful event.

My huband and I are the kind of people who comparison shop and already know what a good deal is before we walk in the door. I live over 100 miles away from this dealer. I checked the inventory and they had what I was looking for. I dealt mostly with Frank Azan and a little with Dan Shine. Both were outstanding at answering my questions (phone and email) and meeting my requests regarding completion of the deal. Car was ready when promised. Business office process was quick and easy. Have to say that the overall transaction from first contact to getting my rebate check was excellent. I would buy again from them even though they are not local to me.

Jai Nichols, Frank, Erwin and the Carman Ford Lincoln are awesome. Their patience knows no bounds. They take their time to make sure you get into a vehicle that suits you and you are comfortable with. Jai was awesome with my daughter. He showed her toys she could play with while we did our paper work and he answered all of her questions about the new car. We will diffently be recommending them to everyone we know.

Stopped by to look at the Lincoln MKC, and ended up driving one home for an overnight test drive. What a fantastic experience. Scott and Frank made this deal happen, and I can't thank them enough for such an easy car buying experience.

Sold a specific car out from under us 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment to view/purchase it. Had been talking to them by phone and email, and our hearts and minds were set to get it right after work. They didn't even care that they were being unfair, was more of an "Oh well..." vibe. Won't be dealing with people who can't be bothered to at least be honest that they double booked, and if the others didn't have an appointment to at least give the courtesy to those who did since we were due in any minute.

If you want a salesman that isn't going to try and talk you into something you don't want Greg Grimaldi is your guy. He was so helpful and made it a great experience.

Brought a 2015 Equus and was told the vehicle was DE State inspected. Brought the car back home to MD to get inspected had to buy all new tires. Mention it to sales man...complete silence. Was not happy with that response at all. Finally, was advertised as an Ultimate package but only had the Signature package.

Service was great and excellent. My work truck broke down on me and I needed a new truck. I was assisted in getting a new truck the same day I stepped into the dealership. My salesman name is CHRIS BROUSSEAU, he was phenomenal and working with him was one of my best car buying experience. Everyone I met at this location were impressive. I went to a GMC dealership before I went to FORD, I am a GMC fan but the attention and the customer service I received from the FORD guys sold me on getting my Ford Truck. Am coming back to pick up a second work truck as our business expands and need more vehicles.

Just wanted to say that Gary our car sales person was great with helping me and my mother's but our cars, He has great knowledge or the product he is selling. If you are looking to buy a new or used car he is your man to get it from, you know how you go to some dealerships and the sales person is very pushy and all over you , He is not like that at and if you have any problems with anything he will take care of it for you and if he can't his manager Frank will take care of things for you, both of them are very friendly. The other manager Joe is just like the other two very out going and friendly. So checkout the guys at Carman Ford Lincoln for all your car needs.

Greg and Bob were really awesome to work with. We felt great about the deal we got and although other dealers were making our lives miserable (calling, trying to mess up the deal with had with Carman) these guys kept everything on the up and up, pushed through the crap from the other dealer and were able to deliver the perfect car! Really professional, followed up on every item, delivered a respectable and clean deal, everything was clear and concise, nothing even remotely shady, VERY knowledgeable about the cars - I would strongly recommend Greg for anyone looking at either Ford or Lincoln. Two Words, PREDATORY LENDING! They tricked me into signing a Co-signer contract without informing about it I was only 19 still fresh out of high school with no financial education and my life is ruined.

Body shop does great work. Fit, finish and paint match all dead on! The office staff was great as well; all I had to do was drop it off, & pick it up when ready. They did all the rest. No hassles, no fuss. Thank you Carman Ford!

I contacted Carman Ford Lincoln for a pure favor and I was not sure if they were willing to help because I was trying to buy a used Lincoln at another dealership who doesn't have the window sticker. To get more info on this car, I had to contact a Lincoln dealer. I was able to reach the sales manager Frank and to my surprise, he was very nice and patient over the phone, taking the long VIN, pulling the window sticker and emailing me. He also made sure I received the email before finished the call. He clearly knows I am not bring business to him but he still took time to help me out! I appreciate it Frank! Just to let you know the window sticker helped me to find the truth behind the deal so I didn't take that car. I will go back to you!

Although I did not finalize a sale at this Dealership, I genuinely felt as if the salesman was trying to look out for my better interest - which is a rare feat from my experience with Truck Dealerships.

Update: I used a Sales person from the Lincoln side to attempt to purchase a Ford f-150.

Was sent a letter that they were very interested in my vehicle everyone was so nice when I got there told them from the get go I have nothing to put down and what I wanted my payments to be insisted I drive a vehicle and refused until a deal was struck everything was fine until appraisal came back they wanted payments double of what I told them and as soon as he knew a deal could not be made his whole attitude towards me changed like he could care less didn't even ask for pay stubs or run my credit so how do you know what I can afford and what I can't and thought it was cute to make smart remarks towards my son but I kept my calm and got my stuff and will never ever return worse experience ever

Love, Love, Love our new car...2019 Nautilus. Working with Gary, Joe and Frank was very comfortable and easy. Very pleased with my deal. I have been leasing for 20 years. Something about the Lincoln's lease program that unmatchable. For example, my last car was a 2017 MB same price as my 2019 Nautilus, same duration, same deposit and yet my payment is $170 lower. It's the structure of the lease that's makes it competitive. Did some comparisons with other Lincoln dealers and (Carman) Gary and Frank beat them all! Try it your love it too...

I'm changing my review, due to the fact that I've all but been forgotten about after they sold me the car. This is what I posted on their facebook page: f you happen to find a car you want and you are not from Delaware, don't bother going to Carman. I bought a car from them in August, and they put temp tags on it and said I'd have them soon. Well, it's now two weeks before they expire, I'm in PA and not only don't have plates, but, I will have no time to get my car inspected before I have to drive out of state. Talk about asking to get pulled over. They sat on my registration until they got ALL their money, not the 5k I put down.....and when I called my salesman he said it's not his area, when I spoke to the person in registration she told me it only went out last week. I spoke to the manager who told me it takes 45 - 60 days for out of state tags. Which means, they wait until they get enough or get paid to process your request. This is an unbelievable inconvenience. Typical car salespeople.....take your money and forget you until you make them remember and then can't help you.

I was pretty much sold on the car after initial inspection. However, that in no way impeded nor detracted from the superb customer service I received from Greg C-Futch. It was about as painless a process financing a used vehicle as one could hope for. Everyone was very nice, manager Dan introduced himself.....I did find an issue once I got home, the weather stripping on the passenger side sliding door is loose, but, that's minor. I also think they could have filled the tank with gas as a thank you. I got half a tank. But, from some of the nightmares out there in car buying, Carman Auto Group, Greg C and Mr. Lee in finance get 5 stars all across the board. They were definitely worth the drive.
