Really nice and friendly staff, beautiful restaurant. But, they need to work together (Staff) and get the job done as a team. Really nice coffee, really food and quality products. I will highly suggest for Marketing and Advertising purposes that the they need to urgently change the holders of the takeaway cups. #WellDone Great Branding.

Today (31 March 19) my family visited Carluccio s Covent Garden and during the meal two beggars entered the resturant unchallenged (despite a staff member at the entrance) and then approached customers (again unchallenged by staff) to beg for money. When they did so at our table one of them stole my daughter s mobile phone and left the restaurant in a hurry. The staff in the resturant failed to respond appropriately and were either unable or unwilling to help with a senior member of staff saying she couldn t cope with the situation. Apart from the obvious security issue there is a clear and urgent need for staff training in managing security incidents including dealing with and supporting their customers.

The gluten free bruschetta here is amazing- absolutely loved it.
The gluten free pasta however is very disappointing and ranks well below other Italian chain restaurants who offer gluten free alternatives.
The service is great though.

Good food and a nice atmosphere makes this branch of Carluccio's a great venue for a casual lunch when in Covent Garden. The shop is also worth a visit for seasonal food treats and gifts. Welcoming staff help to make dining here a great experience.

Appalling serves (actually no service) was shown to a seat outside and told we would be served directly. Then just ignored for 20 mins, went inside and was told a waiter would come, when he was asked to serve us by the supervisor, he went back inside disgruntled. We left. The only reason this place survives is because it is so close to Covent Garden.
I have revised this post as I received a call from a genuinely concerned manager who apologised how we were treated and sought to identify the staff concerned. It has not helped me out her than restore some faith in the brand

Always good quality food here with the menu containing the usual standard dishes with special plus some seasonal changes for variety. Staff are friendly and professional, always ask about allergies and are ready to make helpful suggestions with the wine list. Some very good cocktails, esp the amaretto sour. Service is normally very prompt. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.

Food was great, waiting area and system not so much. They forgot about us and only got a seat after we went back up to find out what was taking so long as other people had been seated after we had turned up.

Now that I have been here again, I have to update my post. Anyone who comes here for the first time and otherwise is not in the corner so often will probably have a few problems finding the little eatery. The iron road lies at the back of the main station. You have to first over the small square and then turn left. After a few meters comes a small Coke sign and nothing indicates that there is a Korean snack here, but this is it!

Can't count how many times I've been here. The food is great, but I find it quite drafty/chilly, and it's always quite a wait. Staff is super friendly though, they once asked my group to move tables (after a couple of hours) and gave us free desserts to make up for it.

I visited Carluccio s Covent Garden a few weeks ago and had an overall good experience. The location of the restaurant is great as it s right by Covent Garden, easy to find and perfect for tourists and workers on a break.

The staff are friendly and more than happy to attend to any requests you may have, for example I asked to be sat somewhere where I could plug my phone into charge and they made that happen. The service at first was a bit slow, but my food and drinks arrived quickly which was good. Although I didn t have any check backs to ensure my food was okay and I was not once asked if there was anything I needed after being seated.

The food and drinks were reasonably priced, especially for London prices! My flat white coffee was amazing, and the food was okay; my starter of a cheesy garlic bread was delicious and my main which was a seafood linguine was nice but the fish wasn t overly fresh!

Overall, not a bad experience!

Very good service and the food was excellent. Although it does not say, but on the kids menu, the starter and main course come at the same time. Charming staff and waiters. The bathrooms and floors sanitary and heigenic. I will definitely go there again although it is pricey

Food is not good. Chicken Milanese is heavily fried and very little chicken inside. Linguini Vongole came with most empty clam shells and no clams and drenched in oil. Spinach giardinaera was awful. Spinach balls were dry and pasta was over dressed in oil. Really disappointing. Our server was very kind. Didn t have the heart to tell him we could barely eat the food even though we were starving. With so many options nearby, i wish we would have chosen elsewhere.,

Awful waiter with any kind of knowledge/ sensitivity to intolerances/allergies. I went today with a friend and her mother for dinner. I am heavy intolerant to any dairy products. I told the waiter twice if I can have one kind of pasta with vegetables without cheese. He said yes of course. After 10 minutes they served the pasta with the surpise that the spinach balls are actually with cheese. I noticed trying one and looking inside something white. I asked the same waiter that 10 minutes before took my order that if It was cheese inside and he very happy said yes. I told him I asked for no chesse 10 minutes before, at that moment he went to ask with one of his collegues if It was really cheese inside that balls, and he come back confirming that was actually cheese on it. He didn't apologise at any moment, he didn't give me any alternative. I said to him that if I knew that the spinach and the cheese are together I could have ordered something else, his only reply was "you can separate the spinach/cheese balls and eat just the plane pasta".
Never had such a terrible behaviour related to my intolerance anywhere before. I worked in hospitality and I know all the workers serving food have to tell you the allergens of any food before serving it to you if you ask for the information. Terrible!!!

I went there with my grandfather after the opera so we got there a bit late, still they reluctantly let us in. The food was good but the problem came with the service as it was poor with a patronizing attitude in fact they kept pressuring us to hurry up. I've found that very rude and unnecessary.

Busy Italian kitchen, with nice interior and good portions of famous and popular dishes from all over Italy.
Gets quite crowded around lunchtime, and popular with tourists, thanks to its central location.

Very poor service, 45 minutes wait for food, completely oversalted non edible

Normally I love Carluccios hence I booked it for a 7people family bday celebration but unfortunately this time in Covent Garden we were completely let down.
Staff were disorganised which caused a long queue to get seated even with reservation. Once seated we had to get up and find a waiter to order, the starter took 45 minutes, no apologies. Waiting for the main after 35 minutes we asked the waiter who simply said 'it's going to be late'. The attitude was 'I really don't care it's not my problem'. Mains arrived, pasta was so salty we couldn't eat it and had to send it back to the kitchen. After complaining to the manager we were told 4out of 8 hobs didn't work and they did take 10%off the bill but it did not make up for a completely failed dinner.

My favourite chain restaurant. But they now persistently don't have my favourite starter in more than one restaurant. You would think they would know that they keep running out of it and do something

Don't bring children here. We arrived and were brought to the back of the restaurant which is fine but we were then ignored for 15 minutes before we had to walk over and grab a waiter who passed us to a manager bc we had a food allergy. The manager knew nothing about allergies and suggested butter for our child's dairy allergy. The food took forever to arrive and they forgot part of our order and we had to ask three people to get it. The table next to us with a small child was treated the same way but the 10+ tables around us with adults that sat down after us got their food first and left before we even got our dish they forgot about. They also didn't refill our water once during service and only brought drinks after the food. In short, skip the aggravation. The food is good but not worth the poor service if you have small children.
