Four of our party of 6 thought the quality of the food to be poor. The pasta dishes were overcooked and dry, in fact my lasagna was the worst I've ever had and the risotto dishes were undercooked. On a positive side, the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a disappointing experience.

The food is nice and the portions are big. Unfortunately, they don't have any options for people who like their food spicy. The dining area is really cosy and the staff very helpful. The service is relatively fast, consideing the amount of people.

The food was tasty and good! We had a reservation and the table was ready for us in 5 minutes. Once we were seated, it took 20 minutes to the waiter to come and ask for our orders. A long wait! The restaurant was crowded! Ok! It was a Saturday lunch time, but 20 minutes is a long time!!! The waiter was polite and served us well. The ambience is nice! I would give another try to check if that waiting time was only a bad luck on that day.

Pretty disappointing. The lobster and prawn linguini had the most minimal amount of seafood in it and it was the most expensive meal on their specials menu. When we inquired about this the manager told us it was because crab is expensive . When compared to other restaurants in London we should have got almost a whole lobster in the meal for that price. Also the homemade focaccia was dry, stale and poorly presented.
The only saving grace was the friendly staff, not including the manager. And the wifi.

Nice Italian chain restaurant. Quick service, but tables are a bit close together - you'll have a good conversation with the table nearby!

Food very fresh & a bit different to other Italian chains. Reasonably priced, with a decent kids menu.

AbFab dahling! It was an evening of wine, information and friends. So much fun I want to go back for more. In fact, I AM going back for more - going to Carluccio s to buy some of that most stunning olive oil. That Planeta stoned olive oil is worth every penny of it s price!

The wines were all stunning with the 'gorse bush and Saint Cecelia wines both tickling my palette in just the right way.

The upstairs private dining room is beautiful but even more stunning is the downatairs space. The shop is well stocked and fun with the eatery intimate but spacious.

I highly recommend a trip down here as quick as you can!

Never go to this restaurant !!!!Shown to our seats , given a menu ,then ignored for 16 minutes. Customers who came in after us had drinks orders taken, brought to their tables and food orders taken . We stood up and walked out as if ghosts, non of the 3 staff in the restaurant acknowledged our leaving . Incidentally I am diabetic and needed to if not eat at least get a fresh orange juice urgently. Thanks again Carluccios you suck.

We were left waiting at the entrance for at least five minutes. Shown to our table (we had a reservation for 4) and it was more than 20 minutes before we were asked for drinks. We ordered focaccia as a nibble to go with the drinks but that was stale and hard. We asked for more which was much fresher. The main food came and was nice. Desert was requested for one and coffee to accompany it but the desert was long gone by the time the coffee came which was missing the point.
When paying the bill we were asked to not put the tip on the credit card as the server would only get 2% of it and pay cash, which we reluctantly did.
All in all the food was nice but the service poor leading to a disappointing overall experience.

Excellent restaurant. We were still lucky enough to find a portuguese in the service that gave us great tips. The Spaghetti Carbonara is great as is the home made Foccacia made with balsamic vinegar.

Decadent chain. When Carluccio first opened in London it used to be a lovely alternative for italian comfort food. But since changing hands it's become a shadow of it former self. Firstly the room smelt mouldy and had really cold aircon in a mild spring day. The starter had wilted salad that would never have made it to the table if someone cared to check. When we complaint - the waiter admitted they only got deliveries once a week and that was in the end of its legs. They said the manager would do sth about it but they never did ( nor in the bill or in any other way)... But the shocker was the pasta - half over cooked, half undercooked - no al dente in sight - completely underseasoned with some cold salmon thrown in and not really a though behind. Terrible experience - and very sorry too. The real Carluccio must be sad too.
