Really friendly service and great for cake and coffee/tea

Had a lovely lunch here, great atmosphere and service. A place you can rely on when you want some decent pasta.

The favourite Carluccio s in London. Always great service with amazing food. Perfect for Christmas parties or reunions as they provide a wonderful Christmas menu with crackers and hats so highly recommend!

Worst service no one came for 15 minutes. We were the firstt ones sitting outside and after us 3 more tables got occupied. No one recieved any service as no waiter bothered to come outside

I have been a regular customer for over ten years.This is the worst meal I have had! The starters were ok. The mains , well the lasagne was served luke warm! The seafood linguini was disgusting . The taste was of rancid fish almost to a point of ammonia! Could not detect any chilli? My partner picked out the three mussels and similar number of prawns! I complained and the manager offered us free desserts, but due to the bad taste left in our mouths we declined. My partner left half her glass of wine as she felt nauseous I settled the bill in full vowing never to return. I am an angler , so I know what rancid fish smells like !

I got the best service and the pasta is perfect! Thank you!!! Will always be happy to come back! I forgot to take the name of my server but she s the lady with braided hair. Thank you!

My partner, daughter and I visited Carluccios this afternoon in Covent Garden. I dont usually write reviews, but the service, speed and atmosphere were near on perfect. Our server was lovely and always on hand when needed (and with a 2.5
Year old in tow, this is pretty impressive). The food was amazing, in particular the prawns marinara and the seafood linguine. I can testify that out daughters icecream was pretty delicious too. Thank you so much Carluccios for a womderful afternoon. Recommended.

I like their changing menu. I like their variety of vegetarian dishes on their menus ans they are always thoughtful. Food is hearty and onolicious.

Pathetic service waited for more than 25 mins after placing the order and still wasn t served

OK. I'll start by stating that I really didn't want to go there at all. However getting a table for 22 people on the Sunday before Christmas in Covent Garden isn't straightforward. Anyway, I have to say we all had a delicious meal and Great service in a lovely room. Everything came out together, hot, nicely presented and all the cheese, sauces, oils etc arrived harmoniousky. The waitress who could barely see over the table top, was just so attentive and responsive it was a real pleasure to be looked after by her. Full credit to whoever manages the restaurant. Great job and has certainly changed my thoughts on this chain.

This place is constantly understaffed, so be prepared to wait long to get a very average food !

What a complete and utter disappointment! A party of 12 ,we booked months in advance and submitted our menu choices . Theatre just around the corner. What could go wrong? ....Everything ! Poor service, waiting 20 mins for drinks on arrival,kept asking for bread and olives which were eventually served alongside our starter,waiting over half an hour between courses, cold food, flat drinks, portion sizes differing from one customer to another, wrong meal served, some of our party still waiting for meal when others had finished. We had allowed ourselves 2 hrs to eat but there was no time for dessert. Bottle of Prosecco by way of apology didn't go far between 12 . After speaking to manager we were fully refunded but very disappointed .

I wish there was a zero star to give them zero! The worse italian resturant. The only thing they have is the prime location and beautiful decoration. Starter came after 45 mins, food came after 1.30 hours and completely cold. I couldn t even find someone to complain. They have so many staff but all walking around without even looking at gusts. I went with my 16 years old daughter and literally couldn t wait to finish the payment and leave the restaurant. The food s taste was terrible, extremely low quality ingredients and tasteless for such a price!

Extremely poor service - waited almost 90 mins for food, had to ask staff repeatedly about our order (which they seemed to forget about), and responses were generally rude and aggressive. Have enjoyed other branches, but would avoid this one.

The place inside was very lovely. Great service. I loved my starter but the chicken milanese had too much rosemary. The chicken was covered by rosemary and unfortunately I had to remove all the top/botton crispy part and ate the inside only.

Very nice food but service was a little show. However, it was late afternoon, so perhaps it was due to the plank time rush.

we had some kind of problem of undestanding our bill and we asked some question to the manager CHRISTINA but she just shrugged and walked away Giving no explanation and no attempt to reconcile . No one in this restaurant is italian , exept one guy from sardinia,they are just using italian name and food for business ,while we were eating nobody came to us to ask how was going ! to order some drinks we had to stand up and go to the bar and get the drinks to our tabel by ourself, waiters there wanted just to finish their shift !!

Service was very slow, and pasta dish was cold. There are many better options- don t waste a vacation experience here.

Carluccio's are always reliable and today's lunch was very good.

Andrei was the best of the best, have never seen such a caring and amazing waiter. He was very attentive and provided a wonderful service to us. We will definitely come back because of him

We live in LA and are fortunate to partake in fine dining. We LOVE Italian food and had hopes for this restaurant because it was listed in several write-ups for good family dining. The atmosphere and location were great and our waiter was excellent but the food was not good. Bland, overcooked and boring. The wine tasted watered down and the wine list was lacking. Sorry.....

food was OK.
they didnt have many variety of cold non-alcohol drinks.
the drinks took sooooooo long to come, and i thik they forgot it actually, they got it only when we were about to finish our food, thats why they took it off from the bill. the smothie though was almost 90% mango nectar even though i ordered the mixed berries smoothie. staff were distracted , not focused, we had to ask for what we wanted couple of times. my partner asked for extra cheese and was waiting for that cheese that didnt come till he asked someone else again for it. it was a special day for us but this just kind of ruined it.

What's not to like about this place. Reasonable menu for london prices nice to sit outside and have a coffee. They have some kind of hot takeaway in the deli seemed really popular.

A busy place, especially with the pre-theatre crowd. My first time in a Carluccio's and the food was pretty good and the set menu was good value.

As a vegetarian, though my options are limited, the ravioli I ordered was utterly delicious. I just hope they start providing more vegetarian options

Nice for coffee break but it was very busy and I think the service suffered. One waitress was not good but the others made up for her. Coffee v strong need lots of water or milk!

Bit too noisy to enjoy your food but overall is a good restaurant with great dishes for kids.

Really great place to get something quick to eat. During lunch time they have a range of pastas to choose from. You ll get your food in 2 minutes. Prices are reasonable, people are nice and location is great
