Have used this dealership for the last few years w...

Have used this dealership for the last few years without an issue. In fact I have called the GM and Service Manger to pass compliments about the service staff. Even went there this past Saturday to purchase a Honda CRV Touring Hybrid - that all changed today!

Our 2014 Civic has started to intermittently "Air Bag System Failure" so I called to make a service appointment. Was connected to a "Hillary" (sp) who, when I explained my situation, said "That's normal to have the airbag light on then no one is sitting in the passenger seat". When I tried to explain that it was a critical error message she asked if it was a "yellow indicator" I said yes and she told me it was the tire indicator. Trying to explain what it was she cut me off and said that was it and I shouldn't worry. At 60 y/o I think I am intelligent and experienced enough to know what I read and what it means.

Disconnected the call, called back and asked for the service manager, but was hung up on. Called back and told the next operator what had happened and she attempted to transfer me x 3 without success. She finally said there were having issues with the phone service and took an 'old fashioned' (my words) message for the service manager to call. Still waiting 4 hours later.

Not sure if it's COVID-19 that has made this place so TERRIBLE but I am done trying to do business with them.

Received a call from "Dale" who listened to my concerns, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and took it as an opportunity for some coaching. Glad to hear he took it seriously.

I bought a new (to me) vehicle from Capitol City Honda On 05/04/19. It happened to be during a "buyback" event for trade ins.

Which btw no deal is ever as good as it sounds, if they tell you it is, they are lying. There actually was multiple issues with that whole process. I did bring a trade in, and parked it to be appraised. Spent 2 hours looking for a car, ended up picking one about 10,000 over my budget (funny how that works) and come back over to to see the details of my appraisal .. which I had to fight for. The sales rep kept telling me well I ve worked here x amount of years you ll get this much okay, Great for you but I want to see it on paper, or at least out of the appraisers mouth himself. So they go to find out and he has me LEAVE! Come back later we will have it ready for you What? Maybe this was a tactic all along to get me in there past closing time and with all my patience exhausted, who knows. While I was gone one of the supervisors called me to go over the situation and I said I wanted the info of the appraisal ASAP. They gave me a number I wasn t happy with and I said I just wouldn t return. Rather than lose my service he said that he would make It right and gave me a new number, (evidently baiting me to come back into the store) even said he would work to get it slightly higher if he could to help us on our negative equity. Of course when we did arrive back there all those numbers changed. But I'm not even going to get into that mess.

The vehicle I wanted to buy was listed over market price based on USAA and TrueCar. It was also listed for a range between $1000 and $2500 over the price listed for the same or better (higher trim level) vehicle in a 50 mile radius. Actually some were even better than that with better and more incentives included. I digress. What I should have done was walked away and bought it somewhere else. Instead, I pointed this out to the sales supervisor because I believe I deserved a fair price on the vehicle and I had already spent a decent amount of time between the two trips there. The sales supervisor all about refused to budge on the price, complaining that they paid too much for it in the first place (okay your previous bad deals are not my problem) He offered me $500 off towards the $1500 I asked for. I say offered lightly.

Now let's get into the lying. He never ACTUALLY gave me $500 off. A used vehicle is sold as is and priced as is. They added $495 to my invoice for something that was evidently applied to the vehicle. No, this should be included in the sales price. I never asked for anything additional to be added to the vehicle and this "product" was applied to the vehicle before I showed up interested in it. I was the last sale of the day and we were there well past closing time. We had already switched everything over and had enough issues we were ready to leave. We wanted the car.

I think it's completely ridiculous and unprofessional that the sales team added this $495 to essentially recoup what deal they were giving me to compare to local prices. When even with this "discount" (that I never actually received) the price of the vehicle was still 1000-1500 over other local prices for the same car even with LOWER mileage elsewhere!!

I am active duty military and I will make sure everyone I know, knows not to buy from these people. Very shady.

For the record I love the car that I bought. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't. However the sales team and their approach, the bait and switch tactics, the lying, and all of that is the problem. No one should have to deal with that kind of treatment as a customer, especially for such a large important purchase.

Brought in $6.00 oil change coupon was given 2. Off. It was fixed after I went back in and explained the math. that $6 off $39.95 is more than the 5% discount of $2 that she was giving me.
So watch your receipts.

I was in town last March; sorry I was busy and did not get to the review. They (Dex Speas) and his associates got me in right away to get a service I needed done. They were professionals and very respectable. They treated us as though we were everyday customers. I would recommend them to any one I know.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new Honda Odyssey from Capitol City Honda. Our experience was incredibly positive all the way around. From the time we stepped in the door, the attention we received was great. From our salesperson, Teresa Fisher, to the sales manager, Spero, and in finance, Tyler, they all were incredibly pleasant to deal with. They all made the experience very positive, and one that will keep us coming back for future purchases. Anyone who has ever bought a car understands that the process can be long and time consuming, however they all made it a great experience for us. Teresa Fisher was an awesome salesperson who really listened to our wants and needs and helped us find the right vehicle for us. I was in the process of buying a Honda HR-V. I did check with all the Honda dealerships around, and I had a hard time getting the deal I wanted. I called Capitol City Honda, and Rory Siqueira answered the phone. I told him what I wanted, and made an appointment next day. When the time of the appointment came, I didn t want to come in but they gave me a great deal so I decided to head over there. They have the best customer service and they did in fact give me a great deal. I recommend anyone if you are looking for a new vehicle go to Capitol City Honda and ask for Rory.

I have been taking my car, an Acura RL, to get serviced at Capitol City Honda for over a decade. They always remember who I am, call me by name, have all my paperwork ready, know exactly what needs to be done to my car, are super nice, very efficient, do quality work and treat me professionally and friendly. It seems many of their staff have been there for years, therefore there is a great deal of consistency. I also appreciate their shuttle service so I can go to the mall, or out to lunch, or to Barnes and Nobel when my car is being serviced. Plus, they always give me a voucher for a free car wash which I really appreciate. I highly recommend the Capitol City Honda service department!

Just went to Capitol City Honda with a Honda Fit I purchased in Idaho. Service was first class, and my car runs as smooth as silk. I did wait when I drove in, owing to a skeleton crew at lunch time. However, once Donny found me, all was well. They have a comfortable area where you can charge you phone and drink hot tea, coffee, cold water and snacks. I highly recommend.

Update: my battery died , a friend helped me start the car so I drove straight to capital hinda where they took care of me straight away. Highly recommend. Gave me 10 percent off too!

I had an appointment for an air bag recall. Also to last minute rotate my tires using a $9.99 coupon, which in the end they chose to not charge me, Honda thank you very much. When I arrived the service attendant was cheerfully "happy", and most eager to serve and reassure me. My wait was exactly as explained. I brought my ear buds and something to study and work on. A few others in the waiting area did as well. Except 2 individuals. I could see their anxiety and frustration while waiting. Waiting can be hard when we are unprepared. We must always consider the saying, "Patience is virtue". One elderly woman was hard of hearing and her service "woman" went to great lengths to explain in depth over, and over, and over, what was going to take place with the replacement of her battery. Being hard of hearing the elderly woman would "shout" back the instructions. We as patrons and community in this situation can reach out and lend our reassurance as well. For we all may have physical issues as we grow old.

Our Honda Odyssey had engine trouble as we travelled through Olympia. The problem was made worse because it was 5:30 on a Friday. We called Capitol City Honda and they said to pop by and they would do what they could. Darren, the service manager, was excellent. He got our vehicle in, identied the issue and provided a temporary fix to get us back to our home in Canada. Additionally, he printed all of the info we needed to address the issue with his Canadian counterpart. We were back on the road in 30 minutes! Kudos to Darren and his staff for saving our Canadian back bacon doing it with a smile!

Dale Garcia worked tirelessly with us to get the perfect car for us at a price we could afford.

His manager, Manny, worked above and beyond to help us with a couple of issues we noticed AFTER we bought the car which they were under no obligation to do.

Then Wayne, in the finance department, found us financing at half the interest that we had been preapproved for with our credit union!

I would highly recommend them to everyone!

We've purchased one car from these people it was a 2007 Honda Odyssey even though the cars sliding doors have to be replaced super often and even though its had a lot of recalls it's still a great place because they replaced items when needed and it didnt cost very much.

They screw you and make you pay for a car you don't want. Than you can not afford the payments and they refuse to let you return the car. High payments when you have children to take care of. Than they take the car back and still make you pay for it.they suck and don't go there.

My Honda means a lot to me and with the personal experience that I have had with this dealership and it's employee's over the past years to now has been nothing less than exceptional.
From the Sales Department, through Finance and even my experiences with the Service Department shows that the employees at this dealership genuinely care about the comfort and happiness of their customers. I am very please with every person who has taken the time to help my with my Honda's. Whether or not I'm buying a new car or just getting a regular oil change.
I would like to thank Michael Schultz for being so patient and making sure I bought the right car for me. I am extremely happy with my new purchase and I am so excited for the years I will have with it!

Updated to 5 stars. Got oil change else where because it was closer and I was lazy. Got charged twice as much and had to come back to Honda to he it fixed as it was leaking everywhere. Honda didn't even charge me anything.

there was no pressure, Honda makes a great vehicle, we have owned one since 2001. They were able to get the exact vehicle we wanted with no problem. Our salesperson, Rory while new to Honda was very knowledgeable about our Honda Pilot and walked us through what is now a very complicated system for us seniors. We will persevcere and love the vehicle.

SPERO HATZIDAKIS was straight and easy to work with. No one was more knowledgeable than Spero on the new Clarity. I purchased a vehicle at capital city Honda a little over 3 months ago. I bought a 2012 vehicle and after one month the engine had a weird sound going on with it. I brought the truck in and they virtually did nothing to look it over.
Now two months down the road I take the vehicle in for it s first oil change, only to have my mechanic tell me that there is heavy metal in the oil. So again I take it into the dealership thinking now I have proof this vehicle hasn t been running correctly. I drop the truck off I inform them of the finding and ask them to look it over and do as they need to make this situation right. I call back after not hearing from anyone for over a week and am told absolutely nothing about my truck and that the manager will get back to me.
I Follow up a few days later, still no word on the truck. Now, TWO WEEKS later I get a call saying that there is nothing wrong with the truck and that their is no metal in the oil, and demands I bring his rental car back TODAY. While I have a busy day going on he then follows up and sends me this nasty text stating I hope you are headed my way to bring my car back today. So after not hearing anything about my truck for over two weeks, now they expect me to drop whatever is on my schedule to appease to them.
The customer service here is completely awful and it looks like it starts at the management level. Please do not bring your business here if you want any kind of loyal or good service.

I went in about a month ago because when I was driving on the I-5 south I was behind a 5th wheel and they ran over a tire which ended up going under my car with a super loud noise I went straight to Honda and explained what happened to Darrin so he looked under my car and said it looked ok but if I notice anything different to bring it in. I had to drive to California this past month and I started hearing a scraping noise so when I went in for a oil change yesterday I told Darrin and after my oil change they took it for a test drive and the cover over the muffler was bent and scraping and they fixed it for free for me. I just love the customer service I always receive when I go to Capitol City Honda in Olympia

One salesman was getting mad at me due to the fact that I was not going to sign. I told him up front I was only looking! This salesman was pressuring me to sign the papaers. He even told me " you like the car right. You need to sign the papers." Nope got up walked out. Shows me what kind of salesman he really was. Didn't care.
There are other salemen who was very respectful here! That I like!

Do not buy a car here! I bought a Honda and after 5 years the engine blew - I never missed an oil change and used the recommended synthetic oil. Then a year later the transmission blew! They tried to tell me it was my fault and yes I should have had the transmission fluid replaced but they did an 'inspection' each time my car was there including when the engine blew. Not once did they say anything about the transmission fluid being old and needing replacing so don't trust them when they tell you all is OK!! I did and it was a BIG mistake!

This was my first experience with the service department at Capitol City Honda and to be honest after reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous, but I had a wonderful experience. I have purchased many cars and never really had the service done at the dealerships because scheduling from so far away has been a hassle but based on my service today I will definitely make the time to come back. Thanks Service Department for a great first service for my CRV!

WOW!! These guys have such incredible team work, Dale Garcia was my sales guy, he made sure I found the car I was looking for. All the guys there made my buying experience very comfortable for me, I didn't even get buyers remorse the next day, LOL I would recommend Capitol City Honda to anyone wanting to get a great deal and looking for the car of their needs.

I didn't buy a Honda here however my friend needed some one to go with her and we meet with the Internet Manager Mario Nunuez . He never lied, was up front and honest and transparent. BEST CAR EXPERIENCE EVER. I dont usually post reviews however I think this was a must. If your shopping for a new Honda reach out to Mario he will take care of you and work on getting you the best deal.

I have not purchased a vehicle from here, but I did try and get a vehicle serviced at Capitol City Honda. Not good. They seem to have terrible customer service and do not follow through on what they say on the phone. I suggest avoiding this place if at all possible.

I always get my oil changed here, even though I can get it cheaper elsewhere. I like that they will keep a record of everything done to my vehicle, incase I want to sell it. They are always very courteous, and pretty quick as well.
