Recently used my BAM membership to get half off movie tickets. Not a bad deal at all! The movie theater had a good sized screen, but it relatively small and was very packed, so we were forced to sit too close to the screen, which kind of damaged the experience (room number 3). It is good, start the movies on time, and might be the cheapest option of you are a member.

Great theater! Very well organized, restrooms are very clean, chairs are not the worst i have tried in a theater. The view from seconds level is very good. Only odd thing is that the sell you snacks but tells you can not eat them inside the theater when you are walking in...

My daughter went to this school and now she is a successful artist. The programs that she was introduced to has helped her to further her art. And she has now become a successful entrepreneur

I highly recommend showing up early as the theater fills quickly. Overall this is a small theater with a decent hipster crowd and a good selection of movies. While it is not the same experience as a big box chain, it will provide a good night out.

Cattle car seats. I'm 6' and I barely fit. My shoulders go over _both_ handrests!! Wife on one side and very thin woman on my other side gracias a Dios. After decades of attending concerts here I sure don't feel like returning.

This is one of our favorite places to catch a movie. There's a liquor store next door that has screw top bottles so if you're slick about it you can enjoy a dope movie in a beautiful theater with some tasty cheap wine! They also have plenty of events, and a theater for live shows, including things that are for kids and families.

Can't ask for a better space for performances. Love the variety and different levels of acting. Located in a very vibrant neighborhood with lots of options for food before shows. The cafe also offers small bites and a full bar. Will recommend everyone to visit at least once, the friendly ushering staff will make sure of that

Great spot to see indie movies! The theatres aren't large so get there early to pick your seats. The concession stand offers a bit more upscale choices in addition to popcorn like fresh cookies and brownies.

A short film of mine was premiering there, the seats were a little tight and there are no center isles so to get out of your row you have to wiggle your way through about 30 people or so. But from all the seats you can see the screen perfectly and the bathrooms are really easily accessible.

So looking forward to a Jan. 18, 2020, show that was cancelled without notification. When I called to speak with them about rescheduling, no apologies, no sorry for the inconvenience. Agent simply said we sent you an email. We did not receive one, otherwise we wouldn't have driven 40 miles to Brooklyn and 40 miles back. What would most businesses do in this case? Say sorry, and mean it. Go an extra step to show empathy. How about "sorry you had to drive all that way, we'd be happy to upgrade your seats for the next available show. Would you like that?" That would be going above and beyond for your customers. Truly disappointed.

I went to a show here and it was wow. From the outside it looks ok but when you go in wow. It looks like you was taking to a far away place. The box office is on the first floor and so are the doors to the hall. Ones you go through the doors the hall is there. The bar is on the second floor they have some food to eat but remember this is a hall not restruaunt. The seat are a little small if you are a big and tall person. If you are, get the last seat on the row you will thank me.

Howard Gilman Opera House. Beautiful theatre. I saw Madonna here in sept 2019, and the sound wasn't as good as I'd hoped an opera house would be. I'm sure for non-concert type events it's a perfect place to see a show or opera.

This does not concern their programming or content, but consider this:
You are disabled and 57
Your income is below poverty level
You are a student
You require an aisle seat and an elevator

You want to see a certain performance

You must be under 29 to use the student rush tickets
You cannot see the performance from the balcony seats ($35)
You cannot pay $65 or $115 for an aisle seat

You cannot walk up those stairs anyway

You want to attend with someone else who meets one those qualifications

There are many seats available (294) for a performance in question-but only for members at the patron level when you check

When you become a member to get 50% off same day tickets your new membership flag says you have exceeded your number of tickets purchased for this discount (you have never purchased any tickets at all!)

What does this tell you about policies regarding education and funding being discriminatory in order to fix ticket prices for certain events? A lot about the administration of the Met and BAM and so-called non-profit organizations getting funding when they openly discriminate and are ageist.
