I'm a member and subscriber. The seating is often less than ideal : when the cinema is packed, - e.g. ET Opera LIVE screenings - the absence of a center aisle makes getting in and out uncomfortable; the screening rooms are small so I always get there early to assure that I can get the seats I prefer. Overall I LOVE BAM. I can walk there which is a huge advantage.

Next Wave Festival never disappoints. Curation is comprehensive and professional.
But the Summer Bazaar turns out to be a loud public noise source that causes pure suffering for the neighborhood.

Hangs down BAM is my favorite place for entertainment in NYC. The opera house does not have a bad seat on the house. One of their best features is that they almost always have $25 tickets to every show. They are in the balcony, but for a short person like me that is better than the orchestra. The mix of shows is also extraordinary; they have dance of every type, opera, theater, talks, and the indescribably but delightfully weird.

Beautiful place. Decent sized movie theaters. I always enjoy going there. Staff (not security staff b\c they are the most cordial and professional) could be more friendly, but whatever. Overall a nice experience every time i go there.

I saw a play by a Gulf acting group about Saddam Hussein here about ten years ago. I'm writing this review because the play was memorable. The art, sports, and social scene in New York set the standard for the nation and much of the world. The fact that it's been ten years and I'm still writing a review should be indicative of how much of an impression this place made on me.

Went to see movie there. Was very impressed with programs they have & the support they give the community. If I lived there I would definitely join & become a member to support; however, I live in Georgia & only come once a year to Brooklyn to visit my daughter. Very impressive!

Went here for my daughter's law school graduation so I wasn't really there for their usual performances. The building itself is beautiful as is the inside. The interior is ornate and lovely to explore visually as we sat and had time to wait before the ceremony. We sat in the upstairs balcony and the chairs were comfy except for my wide bottom. Those of you that are well endowed as I am will be familiar with the hand rests digging into your hips. That's not the venue 's fault, of course, but my own. Although we had the seats all the way at the end, they offered pretty good viewing of the whole stage area. Except for the very end when a video was played on the stage at the very side we were sitting at and we could not see it at all. Had we been at seats just a little further in that may have been different. The stairs were steep and I was grateful for the handrails. Overall a pleasant experience though.

This is an incredible theater, WOW. I went to see Malpaso Dance Company (highly recommend if they tour here again) and was very pleased with the view from my seats. I paid $30 for first row balcony seats and had one of the best views. It was a dance show so I definitely appreciated being up above.

The theater itself has a very cool vintage vibe and the seats all have some sort of elevation to help you have a clear view regardless of who's sitting in front of you. You should definitely catch a show here.

The BAM Rose Cinema is a Small Cinema that is attached to The BAM Complex which has a Long History as Part of The Art's and Cultural strength of Brooklyn, NYC. I would recommend it as a Place to catch Special Screening of Movie's and Documentaries worth seeing, also the area is full of eating and other Dining and Dancing Spots close by.

Loved music, Abdullah Ibrahim. I don't think I will return to that theater. For anyone with mobility issues, it is unpleasant at best and terrifying at worst. No rails, or few. Nothing to grab hold of as seats are.too low. Very cramped seating. I had to move to another, aisle, seat.

I love everything they've done with the building. All of the updated lighting adds an old Hollywood type flair. The venue has good sound and lots of seating on the weekends. The bar offers full service drinks and some nibbles as well.

This is the best cinema for film lovers. The audience adores movies and is polite. The seats are comfortable and there are almost enough stalls for women. The staff is friendly and helpful. I go at keadt three times a month. Go and become a membet for discounts and monthly free films. Terrific place.

This movie theater is great. They don't show blockbusters but rather a good selection of international, independent and indie films. The inside of the theater is beautiful and well maintained. Customer service is good and prices are similar to other movie theaters, pus you could become a supporting member of the museum and attend other events they have. The concession stand serves popcorn and soda and they also have coffee from Brooklyn roasting company, this is a huge plus for me.
