I ve called up to BridgeCom for support and finally gave up. This has been awhile back but no one seemed to know what was going on. Sure you can purchase a radio but not at all happy with support as I m not sure they know what they are doing. Seems they need some expertise in the area of dmr. I m sorry but they just don t seem to be very knowledgeable and no one answers. Good luck. I ve moved on!

Product quality for 878 accessories has much to be concerned with. Two requests for help in solving product issue just never got resolved. Also the problem with our local repeater hopefully will be resolved without cost to our club.

I have had a great experience using Bridgecom University, and have used the videos on line to assist with programming and other issues with radios. I tried to get into DMR a few years ago and was not auccessful. Using the BC videos as a guide, i am now online and talking in multiple talk groups!
I was afraid the 578 was a little much for a rookie like myself. I purchased the unit from Bridgecom counting on the support. They did not disappoint and have been very helpful. I feel like the unit will keep me entertained for a long while with plenty of room to grow.
I first bought the Anytime 878 while studying for my license. I also watched the videos on Bridge Com U.(BCU) So once I had my license I was ready to start coding. I found BCU to be extremely helpful. Recently bought the Skybridge because I have no DMR repeater locally. SkyBridge is a game changer. I can make contacts all over the world in my home office or on the road. The products are great. The training is excellent and the people are nice and welcoming. Five stars from me and thanks for opening up the world to me during this pandemic.
Bridgecom is truly exceptional. Can you buy a DMR radio from someone else? Sure. But you won't get the support, access to training videos, and newsletters. The emails sent to assist you in your DMR journey are just what a first-time buyer needs.

Your service is great ! What I just need to know is: why I was charged twice to program my radios ( 578 & 878 plus. if they both were programed at the same time ? Do I have double the benefits on BridgeCom University ? or should I get A refund or a bonus for one of them?
Great Co. to work with. I got the 878 / Hotspot combo. Ordered on Monday, I receved an E-mail when it shipped. Even got a E-mail at every stop the package stopped at. Got my Combo on Thursday. 4 day to delever? Kudos to everyone at BridgeCom.. Oh yea. I was talking on TAC 310 in 10 min, using my wifi on my router. Will buy from here again. The Radio arrived on time. I had a hard time getting it to work with my local DMR repeater. I contacted the owner and found the repeater is off line so I assembled a hotspot and my programming was correct the videos helped some. I am enjoying DMR as a relatively new Ham licensee and look forward to making some friends on the digital side.
Getting back into Amateur Radio. Purchased the D578 then the D878 rigs to explore DMR. Planning on purchasing the Xiegu G90 soon. Good customer service will keep me coming back.
BEWARE! I ordered an Anytone AT-878UV+ a couple of months ago, upgraded it to 1.14 firmware and it works great. I am going on a vacation out of the country so I wanted to have a second radio to use on PMR446 frequencies. Anyway, I ordered directly from Bridgecom Systems, instead of through Amazon. the radio arrived in a timely manner, but the firmware was 1.16b. Nowhere on the Bridgecom website does it make mention of support or CPS for firmware/CPS 1.16b. I sent an email to support. No response. I called today to get voicemail telling me that it could take 48 hours to get an email response.
I get a marketing email from Bridgecom probably once a day, but if they don' t stop shipping radios for which there is no support, they are going to be in trouble. My laptop connects fine to my prior radio running 1.14 CPS/firmware, but says it cannot open the port on the radio with 1.16b firmware.
I thought of returning the radio but their website policy says all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Whoa! Why didn't I order from another vendor or from Amazon? No restocking charge there. I will update this review if Bridgecom ever bothers to call me back or try to help me in any way. So far, a formerly satisfied customer is a very dissatisfied one. I will take my future business elsewhere.
Bridgecom provides excellent hardware. The radio and the hot spot I have purchased are both top quality. What Bridgecom lacks is support after the sale. There is no written documentation for the products Bridgecom sells. What Bridgecom supplies is a series of videos. If you follow the video there is a good chance you will get your radio or hot spot to work. But if it doesn t work following the video, because the video is out of date, or you missed a point; you are on your own. You can call Bridgecom, but you will get a recording telling you to leave a detailed message, with a vague promise to call you back in a few days.
The lack of support from Bridgecom wouldn t be such a problem if there were user manuals you could read. But there are none, neither in print nor on line.
Ordered 2 times so far. Both well packed, and as described. No issues at all. BCU was a great bonus with 1 order. Talked with them and they were very responsive and helpful. Will order again.
Bought 2 modems, returned one per carly instructions and 3 weeks later still no refund. Beware if these people. Here is the tracking number and the delivery notice from USPS that it was delivered. Now what do you got to say. Not my fault if it was stolen from your mailbox. And you never returned my calls. to settle this.

My only issue was I wish they would offer FedEx shipping as a regular option on their website. I can ship ground from their location and get it overnight to Omaha with their close proximity, saves money, plus cuts an additional day or two off UPS ground transit times.
I was looking for a better 220 antenna for my base station than the copper J that I was using and after looking at the available antennas selected the Tram-Browning Fiberglass 220. As always I was concerned about handling during shipment. When I saw the heavy tube and all the padding used I was relieved even before I opened it and found the antenna in pristine condition. When I put up the antenna the SWR readings were high. Being the first fiberglass enclosed antenna I have owned I wasn't sure how to take it apart to trim it. I sent an Email to Bridgecom before going to bed, then next morning they had replied with the information I needed and all went well. The ARRL January VHF contest was the first major test of the antenna and it worked very well. This first experience with Bridgecom has been great and I look forward to future purchases.
The learning curve is intense. Bridgecom has been there. Im impressed with the 878, just talked to Indonesia this afternoon. Not bad for a HT from coastal NC. Two times i became bogged down and called for help, two times i continued to read until i was able to forge forward. Im impressed.

I was thinking about an upgrade from the AT-D878UV to the +Plus. I sent some emails, even called several times going directly to a recording. Getting frustrated I decided to keep the HT I had and use it as a tool of learning. Customer service can use improvement and that's my personal experience. The available information from the online classes to YouTube videos are extremely important. Bridgecom Systems crew are an outstanding group and worth their weight in gold. With all the videos and e-mails, I felt like I knew the radio before I got it. I have never delt with a place that gave me so much info about the product that I bought, and I needed every bit of it. I am still learning about the radio and go back to the videos to learn more. Thanks Bridgecom!
I contacted customer service on 25 Dec 2020. Trouble ticket 18380 was issued. You told me: "We will respond to your request as soon as we become available on the next business day." I've had my AnyTone 878 plus for six months and in that time I have been able to talk around the world without any problems from my radio the FW updates have improved the performance and the general appearance of the radio. The product for what I have had to workout on my own is great. Product support from BridgeCom, and BridgeCom University is very seriously lacking. It really is a marketing ploy to get you interested in other products.
Have been away from Ham Radio for almost 15 years. Having moved to Florida 4years ago I wanted to get back into the hobby. With deeded codo restrictions, NO Antennas. So started looking into digital DMR and after investigating found that it was my ANSWER to getting back. Looking around I came upon Btidgecom Systems and after alot of research they were the only way to go. I bought the pre programmed package with world wide code plug and was on the air in 20 minutes. The Bridgetown Universaty learning is Great and getting me up to speed on digital DMR communication. Had some questions and there tack support was excellent. If your like me getting back Into Ham Radio Bridgecom Systems is your answer..
The support, videos and documentation is good the only thing I could offer is that you make the website a little more easer to navigate and add a download section based on the type of radio.

I called tech support a few times 1 regarding a CS-540u repeater and got no help or advice was just left at we no longer support this, thank you well the repeater works fine but doesn t pass audio. I called another time regarding my BCR-40u repeater power setting issue and I didn t get anywhere with that, there is also too much desensitization with the TecNet radios inside so it s not working more then a 1/4 mile if that I had my duplexer checked 3 times by 2 shops and no issues with it. I gave up, now both repeaters are sitting in the corner off the air collecting dust

Sometimes the advice I get is more confusing than the question I asked. It is almost like if you don't buy the 878 model you are a step child. Add to that someone from your staff needs to be a moderator for the Facebook page because several of the people post very negative and just plain hateful comments. One of the reasons I left the group.
You asked "how are we doing?" Not so well actually. I called two different times with questions. I had to leave a message both times. It took several days to get a call back. I purchased the Anytone 578 pro package with several other items at the end of the year. It was a lot of $$'s. As of today I have not received the merchandise. Apparently it may be several more weeks to get it. It was not clear in your advertising it would take so long. So what is the real scoop?

Would give less than one star of I could. I have no idea how they're getting so many positive reviews unless they're creating them themselves? I do not recommend. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you have a customer service issue don't expect any help. Also sales manager has a serious attitude issue.
I ordered an Anytone 878UV radio from Bridgecom and recieved a malfunctioning unit a week ago. They are not making it right and standing by thier product. I have since found others with a similar story.
The issue has been resolved with a refund after much confusion. I believe that they need to work harder on their customer service and perhaps a little less in their sales to make sure that their customers are happy.
the radio is great for the price point. although they claim their support is superior it has not been for me. i sent a ticket in over a week ago and have not received a response.
Yes .... I finally got my hot spot . But it had nothing to do with Bridgecom The mail just took a long time . I am in Vancouver BC so e are at add ends Of the world . The Survice at Bridgecom has been good . Now I will get the thing all set up and we will see How that all goes . I want to see how good this classroom will be . See if I can get this all set Up. So I will do a review on that to later on
Extremely slow shipping of in-stock items: "hope to get it out this week" is the response I got when I still didn't have shipping confirmation 24 hours after purchase confirmation paying for 2 day shipping. Customer service was totally unresponsive when I wanted to cancel my order to buy from someone else that would ship the item faster.
Radio was excellent and has great audio. Had no problem setting it up for DMR. Easy radio to program and software was easy to use to upgrade the firmware and software.
Shocked at what has happened here. Ordered a handheld radio. Then a mobile car radio. Then ordered a hotspot for the handheld. Spent almost a $1000.00. Been over 4 WEEKS now. They told me over a week ago in a email that they had the mobile radio set aside for me. But have not sent it yet. In fact I have not been sent anything at this time. All three orders continue to be marked on my account as UNFULLFILLED... Was a bad time to ask me for a review !!!!! Received what must be a bad 878 and bridgecom was very poor at trying to help figure it out. Turned me over to the manufacturer and I have been working with them. Now they want the radio sent back to china so they can figure out what is going on but bridgecom is not want to replace the radio as instructed to by Qixiang . Would have been happy to try a replacement radio but now after bridgecom is not wanting to even do what Qixiang wants them to I just want to try and get my money back.
Wonderful full service store!. I highly recommend Bridgecom Systems to anyone interested in DMR. They have excellent resources with their Bridgecom University. They answer emails promptly and their prices are competitive with any other store.
BridgeCom is definitely the definition of a value add provider to my AnyTone 878Plus . Their videos are awesome and the faces behind the voices are familiar and very knowledgeable - especially Sebastian and Cody. My only minor criticism is the frequent receipt of emails. I understand the need to stay in touch with your customers- but at some point it may become a bit pesty. Other than that-all good and make sure you sign up for their courses.
I gave them my email address to download information on DMR and got relentlessly spammed by them. Around 4 emails per day is unacceptable by any standard, even with an unsubscribe option.
I have purchased a couple different radios and a hotspot from Bridgecom Systems, and have had great experiences with all of the transactions. Even when I had issues (that were self caused) their technical support was responsive and accurate. When I ordered my Anytone 878UV Plus, they were out of stock, however Bridgecom kept me appraised of delivery dates, and I received the radio on the date given. I have had some questions regarding code plugs, and customer tech services was prompt with reply and the problem was solved. The courses they offer are very good, and what I like about them is that the video has the written script below the video screen so that the user can pause the video and read what is being shown if that helps. Customer satisfaction is quite obvious with Bridgecom, and that is an indication of a great company. There have been a few unhappy customers from some comments that I have read, but it was obvious to me that these customers are short on patience and do not take the time to read the manual or the courses offered for free. The radio is well made, solid to the feel, and the accessories are also well made. One suggestion that I gave to customer support was to use power point screen shots of any computer screen shown in a video in the courses. The computer screens are too small to see detail without using screen zoom, but then things get somewhat out of focus. These screen shots can be downloaded, and would be a great help for older eyes.
I ordered the Father s Day special and my CC was charged. I waited and waited , still NO email from you guys. I finally found their buried so deep in the sub menu contact phone number and called, only to get a recorded message that they were at lunch and someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours.... so I waited... and waited... then I called again to get the same voice message of still being at lunch ( it was already mid afternoon there! ) a few days later I got a call back and I asked where s my email shipping info only to be told they had sold out and they were waiting for new stock. I said I understand but why couldn t they email people to let them know this and then keep em updated? She apologized and said they would throw in a hand speaker mic for free and I said thanks and I was grateful. I finally got a email saying it was shipped but noticed now that my complimentary hand mic was now being charged on my CC. As I was using my cell phone I went to their site only to find it impossible to see a customer care contact number, in fact it s not even on the emails they send to customers ??? Why would any company make it virtually impossible to contact them, and then when you do find the number you are met with a voice message, not a human voice as their prompts say? After getting through the charge was reversed, so thank you. And now?? Well it was suppose to arrive last Friday according to the tracking number but now it just says delayed ?? So I emailed your company only to be given the Palm off reply, that it s been sent and basically it s not our concern now and tough luck! But here s the same useless tracking number. When I ve ordered from HRO, R&L, I ve always recieved my items promptly and if any issues, I ve called and someone actually answered and they went out of their way to help, or track the item down, not just give an email reply of it s not our concern anymore and here s the same tracking number! ... so not impressed guys .
Bought the wifi hot spot: GREAT product and the product support videos are terrific. (I am not new to DMR but new to Hotspots) Problem I ran into was trying to set this up with an IPAD: I tried to get support but the answers I received did not seem to answering my question. Found out (it is buried in the docs) the 5G wifi is not supported (so lower speeds, no channel bonding, etc) only 2.4G Even then the videos were not complete about the problem about doing programming over wifi while trying to get a wifi lan connection. (I think cant do it) I suspect they are overwhelmed with orders. All seems good now, but a bit more painful than expected.
I have purchased both the 578 and 878uv radios and I love them both. They feel, operate and the battery time is fantastic on the 878. DMR is a very good digital mode and although it may be hard for some the write codeplugs, the Bridgecom University really helps with every aspect of setting up these radios.
When I had difficulty on two occasions with my new Anytone, no one at your company replied to my phone messages, emails. I had to seek out help from other vendors... but I bought my unit from bridgecom because of the supposed excellent support.
I would have purchased other items from You guys but I have not even been able to get your sales to pick up the phone. So the orders went to vendors who picked up their phones .. HRO.... and gave me thr answers/ solutions to what I needed. You left as they say, money on the table. Then, on your fb page, your moderator said that I had returned my unit. I HAVE NOT returned my radio. Bridgecom is a frustrating company as far as customer service, to deal with.

Purchased two radios from BridgeCom Systems, an Anytone 578 Tri Band and an Anytone 878 Plus. Received BridgeCom U for both radios. I use BU all of the time for reference purposes. The web site is well thought out and made my purchases very easy. Ordered on a Monday and received the following Wednesday I have purchased radios from other dealers and BridgeCom service is 10/10. A BridgeCom AnyTone 878 plus was my introduction to DMR. I earned my Amateur Extra license with 20 WPM CW in 1972 after the mandatory wait time to upgrade from Advanced. Always looking for ways to learn new skills and knowledge, I decided to investigate DMR not long ago. I have found BridgeCom the way to go. The company has your back! I am delighted with the 878 and how versatile it is. Besides their free courses, BridgeCom is constantly posting videos on how to use various features. Bridgecom System was very responsive with my concerns when I called or emailed them. Their customer services have been excellent. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 was it took 3 weeks to get the product. It would be nice to continuously get updates about the delay rather than having to call to get order status. It says on their website there would be a 1-2 week delay but my order took longer. Also, your credit card is immediately debited rather than debited just before shipping. The coupon code I received both form their customer service rep and that accompanied the product did not work. Besides these issues, the product was easy to install. I was able to get everything up and running, DVMega and 878 with my Clubs code plugs, in 30 minutes! The radio works great and by preparing the hot spot and radio prior to shipping really saved a great deal of time. Their videos have been excellent. Their instructions cannot be any more clear. I highly recommend Bridgecom System and will buy from them again!
