BREUNINGER - my favorite department store in Stuttgart and all over Germany for decades. I feel good there to recommend Karls Kitchen too. Especially great is the constantly changing exterior decoration on the house, which then runs through the house as a theme. Unique! The concept of the house always adapts to international trends. You are spoiled by the staff, you usually only notice it when you visit other shopping centers, so you shouldn't complain about every little thing.

Huge and high quality goods. For men: if your wife loves high-quality shoes, clothing and accessories, treat yourself to a visit with her. She is getting pretty happy. For women: go with your girlfriends and pick something out. Do not buy yet. That may then be your divine spouse. If you come with your divine spouse, first go to the restaurant with him, so that he is fit and in a good mood. Then show him what you like so much ;-).
Always a shopping experience. Very courteous advice & huge selection. The only thing: Unfortunately, I still find my way around very poorly - I'm sure many people feel that way ...
Wonderful confectionery! Totally recommendable. Very beautiful and elegant cakes that also taste great. Especially the chocolate cake. The macarons are out of this world!
Worst Online Customer Service! I have an article in the sale including coupon action ordered. Unfortunately, the shoes are larger, which is why I have reordered them in a new size with the request that this will be charged. 1 day after the further order the action was sent again. Breuninger informs me after 1 week waiting now that the coupon nicjt will be charged. Had the customer service reported earlier I would have had the time to use the 2 action again but no, the customer service rejects this. Very bad Breuninger, all other brands are more accommodating ..!
It's OK. The assortment and the selection are not bad. The quality is okay. The things are rather expensive. The restaurant upstairs is not a special hit. If you come to Stuttgart for shopping, then you can pass, but not more.
Almost two years ago I bought a Hugo Boss winter coat for over 300 at Breuninger Karlsruhe. This was already my second Hugo Boss winter coat, which I bought there. The coat had various cracks in the lining after two years, despite very careful handling. When I went there a week ago and wanted to complain, I was, although I had also bought a new winter coat there, quickly and arrogantly handled by the department head of the men's department. They did not want to meet me at all, despite the invoice bill. The height of impudence was that I was offered to sew for 215 a completely new inner lining, in a coat that has cost 320 and is two years old !!! Even the new winter coat, which I had already selected and also bought, did not change the behavior of the head of department. I then left the Breuninger Karlsruhe and bought the new winter coat at Anson's. There I was more appreciated as a customer. My complaint e-mails to the official Breuninger e-mail addresses remained unanswered until today, i. that you do not even bother to respond to factual criticism. When I turned to Hugo Boss directly, I received at least out of goodwill a 25 voucher for the online store and also a timely response. From Breuninger nothing. Neither an opinion or answer to my e-mails, nor was the managing director speaking in Karlsruhe. Conclusion: Anyone who thinks they can deal with their customers in this way cuts their own flesh: for me personally, it was the last purchase at Breuninger! They can all sell, but when it comes to customer service and goodwill, it is over with the fake friendliness very quickly. I can only advise everyone to shop there. From personal experience I can recommend Anson's, there I feel better off as a customer. There are more than enough alternatives to Breuninger! Regrettable that Breuninger behaves so towards his customers ...
The Breuninger is always worth a visit. Regardless of whether you just want to stroll or have a coffee, the level is high and there is a lot on offer. The goods are quite high quality with good quality. My family has been shopping there for many years ... me too. And there are always very cheap offers.
Since my childhood I am in Breuninger several times a month. Actually always very pleasant, but unfortunately the range has decreased a lot. I also noticed that the employees sometimes seem extremely impersonal and withdrawn, moody and at times unfriendly. But there are also exceptions that should be mentioned positively.
Amazing massive department store. But maybe not enough organized because you easily get lost and wondering if you haven't missed anything. Also it seems to have only one restroom for the whole place on the top floor. It's definitely not even for such big place. I also regret there is no gourmet store with fine products and alcohol.
I just love it here and the kids could probably spend hours in the candy tunnel. And if you are actually not in the mood for shopping, then you are more than welcome to drop by for a coffee with friends.
Easy to reach shopping center in the city center at the market square. I especially like the large atrium with the glass dome. Here you can sit nicely, treat yourself and watch passers-by. Large selection of clothing of any kind.
Does not live up to his claim especially the partly listless staff. One gets the impression that the elitist flair of the Breuninger colors on one or the other advisor. If you are a bit casual you will be treated almost dismissively
High life .... tickets! From concerts and theaters to downsizing, you can find everything ... but not for all ... We like it! One minus ... the staff that is sometimes left to be expected ... and when it comes ... it's half-cute and careful to the customer's needs. In other words, those younger are not taken as seriously as older customers ... and if you have to insist on receiving a cover for the evening dress ... you seem to have a bitter taste after spending some money through Breuninger ... In conclusion: We really like the offer and the divestment! There is something special ...
Apart from the fact that it is very confusing, the following experience: We had 1 pair of pants and a jacket and drove to the bottom to pay. There were 4 cashiers who told us that the label of the pants is missing. We would have to go back to the department and get a replacement label there. When asked if they could not call there, "unfortunately not". In the department we would be referred twice. Then it was said the pants in the same size would be needed - but it was the last. In the end, somehow, the cashier and the seller started talking to each other. Total took "only" 35 minutes to pay. Super performance.
Unfortunately, many sellers punish you with pejorative looks if you don't look like a potential buyer. If you ignore that, it's really fun to stroll through. A special highlight is of course the candy tunnel!
Not my favorite place to shop. It is just too confusing for me - I keep getting lost here. Here, too, I only come across trained staff. But the Breuninger is particularly suitable for fulfilling exclusive wishes. Only here I have z. B. found my favorite fragrance Sycomore from Chanel.
Too big, too cluttered and partly mediocre info and service. The girls in cosmetics are sometimes terribly rude and disinterested, even in the laundry department, the advice could be better
Stuttgart - high-rise - pants department September 1st - around 3 p.m.
Quite filthy changing room - lint of dust wherever you look, knocked off button, ribbon on the floor. Asked the customer advisor and showed her the changing room. Well, she doesn't know when it was last cleaned.
Then to the 4th floor for information. Unfortunately, I disturbed three incredibly beautiful people in their conversation. I then told the gentleman about the condition in the changing room, whether it could not be cleaned up at short notice. He referred me to the customer's cloakroom - I was supposed to present the matter there.
The changing room on the 4th floor is awful. I did not think that Breuninger Stuttgart provides such a bleak changing room. In addition, it smells incredibly strict in this nursing room.
Furthermore, I think it's a shame that there are employees who can not greet.
Here you will find everything you need. Clothing for women, men and children is mainly offered on six floors. On the top floor there are household goods and textiles and a restaurant. If you buy something, the first hour in the Breuninger car park is free.
Very very classy and spiky clothes as well as nice sellers, you know each other in the perfumery. Was a top stylist herself. wear most Gucci or Prada, all bought from Breuninger.
Always my pleasure. Large selection of good brands. Unfortunately, the service is good only on some days. Partly super nice staff for me the whole store searched for suitable parts. And then there are days when the service is worse than in any Obi hardware store. Here is definitely upside.
Unfortunately today very arrogant and unfriendly bouncer, therefore 1 star. I am very often in Breuninger, today I wanted a mouthguard for the first time at the entrance to the perfumery because my mask was unfortunately broken. I didn't get anything by saying that my mouthguard is still good, unfortunately it wasn't true. I also wanted to pay for it, but unfortunately no communication was desired. Very very bad for Breuninger.
It looks very cold and you feel very unwelcome by some people. There are some nice workers now and then, but a lot of them are superficial. Once I did something not so smart to enter the store and was treated accordingly. But if I go in with my brand name I will be treated very differently.
In addition, the architecture between the ladies shoe and children's area is somewhat questionable. Why do you need 2 small escalators? How about a big one instead? Would save costs and time (also for the customers)
With the toilets we are actually quite satisfied only the distribution is quite awkward. There would be at least several toilets and not just one on the top floor all the way back. Would also save time, because time = money !!!
The elevators in the "glass building are way too crowded for me. It is worth it to take the escalators if you want to be faster at the destination. Conclusion: more elevators or larger interior.
So far, I've always had the best experiences! Sandro: my one-piece ripped open when I first wore it and the unfriendly saleswoman said she could have it sewn, but I would have to pay the costs.
High end department store that has everything you need. Central in Stuttgart and easy to get to as well. Everyone is willing to help even if your German is challenged.
