Eiraj from BMW Toronto helped with the purchase of my very first car. He had great customer service skills and made us feel very welcome and answered all questions we had and was very professional and approachable. There were some issues with the car he guaranteed would get fixed which didn't, but actively rectified it and will get it done.

Thanks Eiraj!!

My issue is them not offering loaner vehicles. I have gotten loaner vehicles from the Jaguar dealership down the street and from the Mercedes dealership down from too. They say that they only give loaners to BMW's bought at that exact location. They also dont wash your car when you bring it in for service. Other neighboring luxury car dealerships offer that service.

I thought town and country was bad. But these guys just surpassed them! One of the worst dealerships in the GTA from sales to service. No one in that dealership has any knowledge of what s going on expect for the manager Mark he is the only one that cares for there customers it seems like. Not only do they damage your car when you drop it off for service but they don t even fess up to it!!! They keep you waiting 6months for parts and don t even call you when it comes in you have to call them yourself to follow up. My car had 13 work orders for the same problem and they still couldn t fix it, they told me to buy another one with a discounted rate(was stupid enough to fall for that cause I still have the same problem???) Why and how are you still operating.

Save yourself the headache and don t purchase your vehicle from here.

Samir Umer was very professional and caring person with attention to detail. He found me exactly what I needed in a timely fashion with constant updates on the progress. And at a unbeatable price from the market. I couldn't have asked for a better person to make my car purchase. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a professional, courteous and genuine person to buy a car from. They are hard to find in this industry.

Horrible service....you have to chase after people constantly. Also service centre does the minimal required and won't inform you of issues that are not under warranty. I had to go get a second opinion because they dismissed it there. I also brought in my car a couple of times for repeating issues, again they dismissed them and it took 2 to 3 trips for them to address...still not really fixed.

Disorganized and overextended staff who will give you ultimate attention during a sale but drop the ball right after. Never again...

We definitely would go back to BMW for services again.

Don t go to this BMW!!!! Car damaged!!! I would give no star if I could. Anyways, I left my car there for service and it was damaged and they never told me, (dishonest business practices) luckily I always check before leaving. After letting them know, I was ensured that they will give me a call the next day to solve the issue, and BMW never kept their words, every time I called it would go to voice mail and after many attempts I finally got a hold of my service advisor, which he was then rude and un-helping which I was then directed to the service manager, which who will call me back to solve the issue. And yet, never received a call and then I made a trip back to BMW Toronto solve the issue. Which I was then greeted with the rudest people ever in all the dealerships I dealt with. Service manager was equally as rude and unhelpful as the service advisor if not ruder. Rim was damaged and parts of it was crumbling off at the time I saw it, i was offered a repair for the rims but couldn t guarantee the structure and safety of the rims for future use, as I take this car on track occasionally. So I asked for a replacement, since when I left it there it was in perfect condition and safe and they couldn t guarantee me they safety of the repair. And the answer I received back was, BMW does not cover any damage caused by BMW. (Be careful leaving your car there!!, very dishonest dealership.) it has been a week since I was last there and 3 weeks since the car was damaged. BMW has yet made no attempts to solve the problem and I have yet to receive a single apology for the damaged, but I was treated with disrespect and given the attitude of so what they damaged my car and so what my safety is at risk. This is a true disappointment and I will not call or deal with this bmw anymore.

Wasted time and money on service. First, had a check engine light turn on and after getting two recalls fixed at BMW Toronto, it was still on. I was told to come back to determine the cause. When I did, they charged me $200 to diagnose and told me all 4 oxygen sensors needed replacement for about $2600, plus tax. This seemed strange that all 4 would fail at the exact same time. I declined, took it to my regular shop who found a blown fuse in the oxygen sensor circuit and fixed it for $80. Not only was BMW Toronto unable to detect it the first time when they worked on the recall, they made me come back and pay $200 for a grossly inacurrate assessment that would have lead to a huge, unnecessary expense.

I took my car in for a (very strict) 915am appt on a Friday. My car was not touched until 4pm because they were 'busy'. As a result, they did pay for a rental for the weekend which was appreciated. When I came by that day (Friday) at 5 at their request, my associate took me to the shop and had me personally look at my car to drive home the fact it was basically not worth fixing (or that fixing it would be very expensive.).I appreciated the honestly. He gave me the weekend to decide officially to fix or just to take it home as is. I texted him on the Sunday evening that I would pick up Monday morning - no fixing needed. He insisted I come at 5pm to pick up and when I arrived I was handed an $800++ bill for the 'work' they had done! A bunch of smaller things that didn't address the real problem and were in fact pointless, not wanted and not asked for, as by their own admission the car was toast. After some serious advocating on my behalf, they knocked it down to just the initial inspection. Fine. They deducted the price of the rental. A few days later, after all this unnecessary stress - I see the rental was actually returned a day later after all that and my 'free' rental cost me $70! Prior to all this I had left a voicemail with their pre owned department. Never called me back. Needless to say my next car will not be a BMW

EDITED
Because I can't reply to the thread below
a) I did indicate you paid for the rental if you would have actually read the review you would understand that what I was charged to 'rent' the car I shouldn't have needed in the first place was $70 less than you allotted for in your payment to me, because you returned the car late.
b) Effective customer service generally doesn't result in suggesting a customer call a hotline number where anyone could answer. If you actually care about that customer you will provide a name and direct number.
c) The fact you have 'no record' of my call is just further proof that your business is not functional. I left a voicemail. 100%. Not that it matters anymore. Moving on to Subaru.
d) the whole smug and dismissive tone of your response pretty much sums up your approach to customer service

I was very pleased with all aspects of the recent purchase that I made at BMW Toronto. Anton was extremely helpful throughout the process. We purchased a 2009 BMW 128i Cabriolet and not only did he answer all of my questions leading up to delivery, he made sure that the work was done to my satisfaction. I would certainly recommend the dealership and specifically Anton as sale person.

Finally!! Ultimate Customer Service.

Finally!! Ultimate Customer Service.

To all those looking to buy a luxury vehicle, there are a few things that most dealers have in common... Free coffee, nice lobby, beautiful cars, etc. But the one thing that often gets overlooked is the Service Department of the dealership and how they look after you once a car rolls off the lot. I am very happy to say that at BMW Toronto I wasn't a number, or just another customer, but was treated with the utmost professionalism and understanding of my specific vehicle issues.

As a quick summary, I did not buy my X5 at this location, but after having faced a large repair bill for a rare defect in the engine, I drove around to many BMW dealers in the GTA to get some consideration for warranty, or customer support that would help me in my particular case. After no luck with any dealer, I spoke with a friend of mine, who bought a car at BMW Toronto, and told me to go there and talk to the Service Manager since the dealership is known for their customer service. I want to say that I was BEYOND HAPPY once I met with the service team, they actually LISTENED and understood my case. The dealership went above and beyond to help me with not only my initial repair bill, but were also proactive in finding a second small issue and fixed that too, as I was just at the end of my warranty.

I left BMW Toronto with a good feeling, one that will have me coming back to this location to not only buy my next BMW, but to also know that Luxury doesn't have to be 'front ended'.

Thanks BMW Toronto, and you will see me again!

I had the worst experience ever with this location...

I had the worst experience ever with this location, they dont have respect and they would do what ever it takes to take your money and keep it with them. Besides they took my previous car original registration papers and didn't give it back although I went there to get it, more than two months ago. My money is still there although they were supposed to refund it in April, and my car papers. I dont know why they are doing that, I'm tired of calling the managers and filing complaints, the worst service was by Adreian, sales man.

I had my 2013 M5 in for service about a month ago. My service advisor Ishmil was very profassional and followed up with me while waiting for the part and during repairs. The only concern that i have is my exhaust tips are not properly aligned following removing and reinstallation to get to the rear differential. I do have to admit that i have an aftermarket exhaust but would have been nice to get it back the same way i dropped it off. Overall, happy experience and would highly recommend asking for Ishmil in service.

Had a great experience at BMW Toronto and purchased my 428i xDr. This was a true milestone for me, and I really have to give all the credit to my sales rep Paul Andreana. Thanks to his effort and knowledge, I was able to find this perfect car. Also special thanks to Nigel for providing a full session on the functions and operations of the vehicle, he was very professional and patient when answering all my questions. Fantastic experience, and will definitely return.

Dealt with Adam Wisbey on Sept 22, 2018. Leased a 2018 X5. As a retired Director of Marketing for many years, I am always attuned to the process a sales consultant uses and I have to say, Adam exceeded my expectations. He displayed professionalism, caring, patience, knowledge and an understanding of what I was looking for. Car buying is not always as much fun as it should be but Adam was absolutely great to deal with in all aspects. He had the car delivered to me clean and with a helpful tutorial. He has followed up and will again at one month and beyond. I felt he was sincere in letting me know I can call anytime with questions. We will get together again for a "tune up" tutorial as well. I highly recommend Adam. There is an old saying that I love in sales: "People don't care how much you know, until the know how much you care". That's Adam!

Would I recommend friends/family to see him if one was interested in a BMW. My experience was so positive with Usama, not only am I telling everyone about my car and Usama, I'm already building my next BMW!

What an amazing experience. These guys are true to their word. I bought a certified pre owned 335 XI from Mujtaba (Mush) Hassan. The vehicle was returned from a lease and was listed as a CPO. I was shown the vehicle prior to the CPO reconditioning and I must admit I had my doubts. The paint finish needed some TLC, there were several cosmetic scratches and minor dings. Mush assured me that the reconditioning process would clean up the paint surface imperfections. On the day of pick up, I was amazed...the car had a deep gloss finish and the imperfections were gone. The reconditioning process was top notch...from the interior, to the exterior to the engine cleaning, even the exhaust tips were replaced...These guys are real pros.
The level of care, professionalism and utmost honesty from Mush and the team at BMW Toronto will keep me coming back.

Unprofessional Technicians, Worst Costumer Service...

Unprofessional Technicians, Worst Costumer Service I have ever experienced!

We got a tire alert while driving on 404 so my husband took the car to BMW Toronto the second day to get the problem fixed. After inspection he was told that "tires are completely fine", the alert we got was due to the low pressure of the tires caused by "Driving too fast". We were only driving for at most 120KM/h, and we don't think this would be considered "too fast" for a 2016 BMW X3 with a mileage of only 30K. So he asked them to double check but they insisted the tries are okay and there's nothing to worry about. So my husband left and came to pick me up from work.

While we were driving home, it started to get really bumpy but there was no alert at all regarding the tires. Since we were about to go on highway 404, we decided to stop by the side of the road and check even though NO alert was generated. One of our back tire was completely flat. This was a very scary experience for us thinking this could happen while we are driving 120km/hr on highway and this could get us injured or even killed!!

He had to take our car to BMW Toronto again the second day and get this tired replaced. He asked why the issue was not discovered yesterday and was simply ignored.

However, i received a phone call telling me the inside of two of our tires were worn and the tire insurance we purchased wouldn't be covering this issue. We will need to pay $1500 to get the two tires replaced because our tire insurance would cover the inside worn of the tires only to a certain level.

We just had our service done at BMW Toronto about 3 months ago, and no one has ever warned us regarding this issue. Even until yesterday we were still told our tires are fine.

The guy named John on the phone told me it should be the car owner's responsibility of getting these issues checked. After I explained to him we are not professional car technicians, he told me "this is the thing that you should know before you buy a car". How rude is that!?
---------
Updates:

Got in touch with their Service Managers Kim Bloskie and Mark Glyn-Williams, according to them their technician was doing everything correctly by following their process. What happened to us was just "very unfortunate" and there's nothing they can do to avoid this accident. We were lucky this didn't happen after we went on Hwy otherwise we might both end up in hospital!

Below are answers given regarding my questions:

Q1: Why we were told our tire was good after the inspection even tho the inside of the tires are about to break? Why the issue was never identified before?

When a car comes in with a tire problem, they would only take it to the "drive thru" and inspect only the outside of the tires, if no issues are found, they would assume they are good and reset the car.

Q2: Why no alert for our flat tire?

Once reset, it will take 40km for the car to gather tire data, if any thing happens with 40km, it will be ignored. Since we got the flat tire only 1hr after we left the store (<40km), no alert was generated.

Q3: All four tires are BWO Run-flat tire that supposed to retain their shape and last 80 km at 80 km/h, but in our case, it completely lost its shape.

The inside of tire completely break apart so it could not retain their shape at all.

Q4: Why is our tire insurance not covering when we were told it has 100% coverage on rim & tires?

The sales person may not mentioned the exceptions but it's you responsibilities to read all the terms before signing it.
------
I still ends up paying $1500 to get our car fixed there since the tires were not in a drive-able position. The Service Manger told me the tires will be fixed the second day and someone will contact me to arrange the shuttle.

It has been almost two weeks now, heard nothing from them. I called, left a message, no replies yet.

-------
Be careful of the "exceptions" and the "false advertising" regarding their Run-flat tires and warranties.

This will be my last visit too BMO Toronto and possibly last BMO i would purchase due to the safety concerns.

When purchasing a luxury vehicle one would expect a salespersons willingness to lesson and understand a buyer's needs, however, I did not receive the service I was expecting. The salesperson was misinformed and was of no help. She had no answers to my questions and repeatedly put me on hold to ask the same question to the general manager. I eventually asked to speak to the general manager in hopes that she would have answers to my particular questions. She, however, was NO HELP AT ALL!! She was rude, condescending, and short with answers. Having experienced superior service at other BMWs throughout North America, BMW Toronto is the worst.

This past fall I purchased a BMW 328I from Downtown BMW, the attention to detail and service from the staff was exceptional. I don't have any experience with BMW Toronto's shop directly. I participated in a BMW Motorrad demo ride with them earlier in 2016. The bikes were fantastic. The best engineered motorcycles on the planet, IMO. Unfortunately everything but the bikes left a lot to be desired, most importantly, the ridiculous pace that the ride marshalls were going at. We were moving at a pace that was simply unsafe. And one person paid for it. BMW Canada needs a tighter grip on who leads the demo pack.

I was looking for a used Toyota Corolla within my low budget and never thought that I was going to get it from BMW Toronto. I found online that they had a large collection of used cars from different makers that were traded in against sale of BMWs. I visited a corolla there which was beyond my budget. But the ever smiling sales person, Mr. Mujtaba Hassan (Mush) called my home two days later and helped me to negotiate the price. He accompanied me on a test drive and to a third party inspection facility. Eventually, I bought the car. While delivering the car, Mush advised me how I could do the details done on my car. I hope to go back again there; this time probably for a BMW.

I had a very positive experience recently at BMW Toronto where I ordered a 2021 230i xDrive BMW Coupe. Sent a car for a car inspection assuming since they are a BMW dealership they will be trained enough to give a proper inspection - (I was hoping to buy, seller was nice enough to bring it in for free for me before purchase)

387$ dollars for a pre-purchase inspection later they never checked the tuned on the car and essentially flagged a whole bunch of things that don't exist - when the service manager was confronted he agreed that they did not properly check the tune of the car before the pre-purchase inspection, when asked if they could show the leak on the car they quoted at a 2000$ repair, they refused to do so, great sign of service. To mention flagged every single possible fluid they could regardless of if it was changed recently in an attempt to maximize there income

I'm not surprised a dealership acts so selfishly, but the own service manager at BMW agreeing that they misdiagnosed due to THERE INABILITY TO CHECK a tune is hilarious - if you are sending a car here for inspection / pre-purchase inspection just don't they are complete amateurs and since the service I received was incorrect Ill be issuing a visa refund - steer clear of BMW Toronto!

I had a great experience in buying a used X5 with Ambross Ip. Not even close to pushy, super consultative and got me a great deal (I approached 5 dealers for the same deal and his was the best) Even filled the gas tank on pickup. I'd highly recommend him.

Just leased a previously experienced 2015 X1 from BMW Toronto. Satchel Ives was terrific to work with. He was extremely responsive, listened well and ensured we were well treated and looked after at every stage of the transaction. I am thrilled with my like new X1. Thanks Satchel. You made a difference on this one.

Please hire better sales staff, they aren't rude but they aren't responsive at all. As a person who is going to potentially give you tens of thousands of dollar for a vehicle I shouldn't be going out of my way to get more information. Also, when I put a down payment on a car I'm interested in don't sell it to another dealer because you priced it too low and then return my money! Again, your sales team isn't bad, but they need to be more attentive and learn about the specs of the cars the potential client is interested in.

Great experience with BMW Toronto buying my first BMW from them last week. Kent was a lovely young sales guy, really cared about customer service. I came from another BMW dealership with a very bad experience and these guys were so much better to deal with throughout the process.

Would happily recommend.

I dealt with Usama Khan and all I can say he's impeccable. He made this the best experience ever purchasing a vehicle. I would go back to BMW Toronto forever, and I referred my friends and family from how amazing of an experience this was. I love my car and I love BMW Toronto. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I had a great experience at BMW Toronto. I worked directly with Jamie Wagdin and Yanet Isaias and only have good things to say about the dealership and the process of purchasing a vehicle from them. If you love BMW, you found the right dealership.

Worst BMW dealership I've ever heard of. When I describe my experiences with them on forums, everyone tells me to call BMW in Germany and report them. They lied about what my warranty covered, and ended up getting things fixed for free at Mississauga BMW. Go a seat rip and Toronto made something up one time about sending a picture to Germany for approval, to repair it, and obviously they denied it because Germany was never contacted. I asked on my next visit about the photos sent to Germany and they said they had no record of anything like that. Overpriced, scam artists, won't even stay true to the cars factory warranty. Go elsewhere, if you want good, honest BMW service.

Saw a pre-owned 328i online and went to BMW Toronto to take a look. The customer service was excellent and beyond my expectation. I bought my first BMW with the help from Jerry Xiao. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the car, and provided excellent sales services during the entire purchasing process. A very positive experience overall.

Almost always good service but you really need to book in advance, and I mean way in advance. Like at least 2 weeks, even for an oil change. They're really pricey but of course, you're talking bimmer here. They need improvement on professionalism of their shuttle drivers, in terms of their etiquette to dress, talk, and driving style. BMW shuttle shouldn't feel like another city cab or an uber ride.

We wanted to say thank you to the staff at BMW and Scott Shadbolt who helped us purchase our 2016 BMW X3. They were always accommodating and got back to us in a timely fashion. Scott helped us through the process and showed me how to manage the settings on the car. So far the car has been great with no issues. Thanks Rebecca

In the interest of full disclosure, I have been a dedicated client of BMW Toronto since 2003. I own two BMWs purchased from Mr. Vince Cappella, Sales. My vehicles have been exclusively serviced at BMW Toronto. As a point of interest, I also own a Mercedes and so I can speak knowledgably about the kaleidoscope of service experiences. BMW Toronto has earned my loyalty based on the exceptionally high overall quality of service delivered over this period. As an illustration, following my most recent visit to the dealership last week, I wish to express my appreciation to Mr. Mark Glyn-Williams, Service Manager, along with some of his team of professionals, Mr. Hal Greenson and Ms. Michelle Tofano for their co-ordinated same-day emergency assistance. They helped to arrange for timely and cost-effective repairs to my BMW. My vehicle was washed and ready for pick-up ahead of the scheduled completion.

George Stefankiewicz is terrific. He helped us in 2014 with a 320i and most recently, an X3. We benefited from George's expert ability to help manage the challenges associated with a lease transfer. He is approachable, patient and responsive. My wife and I cannot say enough about George's commitment to exceptional customer service, thank you George!

I bought my first car from BMW Toronto. I had a really good experience and received great service from Jamie Wagdin. He was professional, friendly and had great product knowledge. He helped me pick the perfect car, 328i xDrive, with all the features that I needed. Ankit Patel also helped me a lot with the paperwork and getting me approved for the lease. I would highly recommend BMW Toronto.

Had a great experience at BMW Toronto and purchased my car. I really have to give all the credit to my sales rep mujtaba hassan (mush). Thanks to his effort and knowledge, I was able to find this perfect car. I know there are many other good people but mujtaba hassan is excellent, he was very professional and patient when answering all my questions. Fantastic experience. Thanks mush and BMW Toronto.

Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars. It bothers me a bit because I am a real BMW advocate and fan. I've driven BMW for the last 10 years and have had 5 cars.

I think it would be unfair to say that BMW Toronto is a bad place to buy a car. I have met some very genuine people there who are very good at what they do. There just seems to be a real breakdown in communication with staff, poor customer service at times and lack of empathy to the customers situation which is likely due to a high turnover business.

I didn't have the best experience there. I did a lot of running around and had to fight hard to get my car fixed less than 2000kms after buying it pre owned. I'm disappointed that it takes for the customer to make noise and the approach to customer service is more reactive than pro active. That being said, The service department came through in the end and went above and beyond. They fixed my car and had it done in less than 24 hours. For that I am very grateful. I didn't expect everything for free, I just wanted them to be fair and they went a step further and did one better.

Good place to buy a pre owned car but read the warranties carefully. Probably better to buy a bumper to bumper warranty so that you don't get caught out like I did.

Only dealt with their service department, don't know how good their sales is. Last year I bought a pair of black kidney grills for my X4 from BMW Toronto and asked the price to install. The service guy initially quoted price of 260 something dollars and booked me an appointment. Few days later when I arrived, they gave me a new price of more than 400 dollars of labor, telling me that the entire front needs to be off.... I refused the deal and went for Parkview BMW, which they cost me 160(including tax) to install. I feel being trolled...
