Raw oysters were super fresh and yummy. The blackened mahi mahi was only ok - not well seasoned. We also got the peel shrimp (pretty good but they were not cleaned) and mussels. Restaurant was busy on the Saturday night, so service wasn't particularly attentive (e.g waiting over 10 minutes to get the check). Would probably go back for only the oysters.

Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was great and out food came out fairly quick. My burger was massive, but maybe could've used some more seasoning or something (couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing). Overall though it was pretty good. I would love to come back to try the seafood sometime. It was tempting, and the prices were reasonable.

Atmosphere is a bit old and dingy, and I was disappointed there were so many people smoking so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors, but the food was surprisingly good. The blackened fish ("dolphin") tacos were, in fact, amazing, and the stuffed jalapenos are easily a must-order. I recommend them with sweet chili sauce.

This is my favorite raw bar in South Florida. The laid back vibe, great seafood, ice cold beers and outside patio makes this a great place to forget about your worries and just enjoy the present.

I highly recommend their raw oysters and the old bay peel and eat shrimp. They go great with a cold beer and good company.

Old school seafood restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Very good food and positive enegy place. Great all around. Just make sure you don't stay at the bar if you don't own a boat or if you are not considered a regular. Bartender LISA will make sure you are not welcome there! Not coming back for a free meal!!!

Buddy the owner is the man. His staff is well trained & you always get great service. The food is fresh & the portions & prices are excellent. They have inside & outside seating. There is also a full liquor bar with plenty of TVs

On my very 1st trip to Ft. Lauderale it was the 1st place I ate.. been hooked ever since. Comming back in 18days for good. Cant wait to go there again. Food was wonderful , so was the atmosphere , staff was very good. And loved eating on the dock..see you guys real soon

Best local restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, hands down! My bf and I were going there 2-3 times a week and now that this COVID crisis has kept us all inside, I definitely want to share and encourage everyone to go local on there next restaurant visit and go to Southport. Great food, laid back atmosphere, great people & a great happy hour! I can t wait until they re-open after this pandemic and we can go back to having our date nights there again. Southport, you rock!

Southport Raw Bar is a staple for one of the true local places in South Florida. I absolutely love this place. The views, staff, and food are all on point. I have never had a bad meal here. Pictured is the philly cheesesteak and Mahi with steamed broccoli. I will definitely be coming back soon to upload more pictures and a full review.

Very happening place! We brought in our own fresh caught fish and it was served back to us tasting AMAZING!! The service was outstanding even while they were busy! Thank you Herb for a great dinner and dining experience!!

Peel and eat shrimp are legendary. Even after 30 years since I was there last, I was so excited. Yes, it's a hole in the wall on the water. Dive in! You won't be disappointed.

AWESOME FOOD and GREAT SERVICE...... recently met a friend from out if town there for lunch.... The Fish was cooked perfectly and the portions were large.
The service was personable and attentive. He was I with everything. Even had their homemade Key Lime Pie..... Very Good. The ONLY issue is they are so popular that it's sometimes hard to get a good parking space.
This time was perfect on that there were a few spaces available. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place And their prices are very reasonable.

Fish dip is absolutely delicious and loved the conch fritters!

Food is always very good and fresh, and service is very quick normally. Blackened dolphin sandwich is my go to..

Conch soup was spicy and excellent. As with everything else in the south no dark beer except for Guinness which IMHO is the Budwesier of Ireland.

Food and service were really good and enjoyable. Problem came at the end of the night when we got the bill. The merchandise (shirt we bought) was added to the bill and the wait staff expected to be tipped on the ~$35 cost of the shirt (which they had no part in). When we tipped 15%, the wait staff came at us for not tipping appropriately. We were charged for a dbl shot, and when we asked for soda water the charge was ~$4.
It was my husband s birthday celebration, and we chose this place over the Boatyard, assuming a more relaxed environment. It was, but in the end the drama was not worth the effort. He was really taken aback by the affront by the staff on their dissatisfaction with the tip.
We were disappointed with the outcome as well. Lose-Lose for both sides.

I had the grilled oysters and fish and chips. The grilled oysters were amazing. They are definitely fresh. The fish and chips were also very good. I would highly recommend Southport. They have a nice view outside and a friendly staff. I would definitely come back and would recommend.

Happy hour outside is the best! The inside is a bit dark and gloomy. The cooked food is not amazing but it's good. However, the raw food is delicious and fresh.

Of course one of the best places in Broward hands down. You will not be disappointed.

The locals rave about this place which is why I decided to give it a try. The waitress was horrible. Didn't bring our drinks out till after we were done eating. I ordered the shrimp figuring it would be the best but boy I was so wrong. They were the smallest shrimp I have seen while eating here in Fort Lauderdale. Wouldn't recommend this place to any tourist.

Our first time trying after wanting to for a while. Went at 6pm on a Tuesday and got a table right away. Love that you can get the happy hour prices at the table not just the bar. Everything was good and our waitress helped us make it to our Panthers game on time. We'll be back!

I only stopped by here to grab a small bite and a beer. It was my first time and boy they didn t disappoint. Food was delicious!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend the fried scallops! Thank you David.

We love this place for hot wings, old bay shrimp, conch chowder, clam chowder, and kids like "giant" hot dogs on the open grill. It's a no frills raw bar with plastic tables and plates on the inter coastal. They will also cook your fresh catch and charge a plate fee. We love pulling up with our fresh mahi mahi and having them make us blacked dolphin sandwiches and dolphin fingers. Great deals on appetizers at happy hour.

Great prices and the crab/shrimp with cheese was yummy!! Not to mention the view!
