Big mountain with lots of varied terrain. The mountain gets very crowded and also very cloudy and foggy. If you can get up there on a slow day with clear skies then it's amazing!

Great white is a great time! Even on a busy day the lines aren't too bad. Lots of different runs for every skill level.
Love this resort. It's a lot of fun! I come here ever year for a boardercross race and it's one of my favorites out of the whole circuit. The accommodations are nice, the food is good (tho pricey), the race volunteers and employees are great! I've had a great experience every single year!
Great skiing here! The terrain is fantastic if you can land a clear day. Definitely in my top 3 in Canada for best terrain and quality of resort. The staff here is also fantastic. Very professional and well run kids lessons. My son had great time in lessons and learned lots from his instructor.
This place is just stunning in the summer! Beautiful hikes up the mountain and a chair lift for those with younger kids. The village is low key but does decent beer and chips. Very safe and friendly atmosphere.
Although the conditions were not perfect it was a great experience. The staff are friendly even when it's cold out.
I came here solely because I heard the big white jingle on the radio, it was pure bliss music to my ears. And yes it is big and white and skied all over
As an international visitor, Big White was awesome. Masses of powder snow, huge mountain area to ski, super long runs and very few lift queues. The staff were all pleasant & very helpful. We stayed in a chalet and self catered, so didn t try the eateries, except the clock tower cafe, very good espresso coffees with Almond & Soy milks.
Love it! A group of 10 of us keep coming back every year and staying on the hill.
I have going here for years - an incredible ski hill!
Family friendly resort. The snow is amazing here and so many different trails to explore. Fun terrain and lots of glades/chutes to explore.
Great place to learn skiing and also fun for advance skiers. Home of an Olympic champion, can't get any better than that
Great mountain! Terrain for all types of skiers and snowboarders.
A world class ski resort with amazing snow. Plenty of terrain plus food and accommodation options.
Champagne powder!! Great mountain staff. Unfortunately they close runs too frequently, but other than that, and a run away stretcher, it was a good mountain experience!
Highly recommended!
We went there on the first snow. Too bad the station was not yet fully open, we still loved it :)
Great snow, a wide variety of terrain, and short lift lines. The mountain has a great small-resort vibe.
The mountain was full of snow when we went there early March. As a new snowboarding they have the option to purchase beginner lift ticket- which was amazing! (I wished cypress had this) The people who worked there were very friendly and nice.
I've never seen so much snow!! This is by far the best ski resort I've been to. For such a big resort its so well run and organized. Staff is from all over the world (mostly New Zealand it seems), but everyone is friendly and helpful. Its a huge place and you really need few days to truly enjoy it. The lift tickets are cheap in comparison to other places out there and conditions were amazing. If you ski or board, this is a must!! We stayed at one of the condo's at the resort and they are amazing.. ski to the front doors and everything is easily accessible. Lots of restaurants and bars, lifts were not busy but the snow..... such a great time.
Always a great time, staff is great, and the difference in terrain is amazing
Well serviced mountain with significant range of terrain from groomers to a big backside bowl. I've gone for a week in a ski in ski out and the accomisations are great. I have since gone for a day several years later and was reminded that the on-mountain signage is lacking and occassionally difficult to navigate. Thats the only knock I have on it.
Great resort with something for everyone. Some of the runs are kind of confusing. Good food options that cater to a variety of budgets - recommend the Irish pub for good hearty food after a day on the slopes, menu pic attached. Just watch out on the road here from Vancouver - it's no joke and pretty scary when conditions are bad, so time your visit well and don't drive home in bad conditions in the dark like we did (and will never do again!)
Great resort and smaller crowds than whistler. The snow is awesome but be prepared for unpredictable weather.
Great snow just watch for the white outside and low lighting conditions
Ample terrain and chairs for every level although not too many steeps.
Well organized ski lessons, slopes are beautiful, and good options for beer and food afterward. Really love the $10 Friday deals too!
Fantastic family mountain that is well run, staff everywhere to make sure you have a happy and safe stay.
The runs are a good with a variety of difficulty for the whole family.
Some of the best skiing and a great village with a good choice of restaurants
Great night skiing. Loads of snow. Quick lifts. Very friendly.
Snow heaven! So beautiful. Lota of nice long runs for green and blue skiers/borders.
The skiing is good, visibility very poor.
The service in the lodges is poor.
Christmas holiday, peak season and at 10:30 they are out of hot chocolate? No soy options?
Also - ski school disorganized. Check ins are a gong show. No return emails when registering.
Transient staff are unshaven, unkempt and clearly here to party as a priority. The barista at west ridge warming hut smells like liquor.
Pretty poor considering the $120 tix. Time for some new management / leadership.
I ride at Biggie all the time! Its a pretty friendly resort for all types of skiers. The resort is really wide with a high lift capacity so lines are short, especially if you know where to go. Tree skiing is spectacular and there are loads of natural features. The terrain is fairly progressive and not too insane. There is not a ton of super gnarly terrain and the road up is long and can be sketchy. Also the mountain stands alone so it can get very windy and foggy.
Best snow in BC! Feather light like in Colorado and amazing, amazing ski in and out accommodation!
Nice little resort in the mountains. Very empty during the week, which makes it fun to ride. Enough varied terrain to suit everyone's needs. I just wish the town was a bit bigger and there were more options to get down to Kelowna for shopping/night out/etc. There is a shuttle, but it is always fully booked and only twice a week for a few hours.
One of the best ski in ski out villages and has a wide variety of terrain
Stayed here mid-January. Rented a ski-in and out townhouse. It was an amazing experience. The snow was champagne powder, you can ski in and out of the village. Tons of fun for any age. The mountain is huge and lots to explore.
Big White is my all time favorite ski resort! A must visit.
Great mix of runs. Perfect for a family vacation. The little village is nice, it has shops and restaurants. Everything is within a walking distance. If you're looking for a ski-in / ski-out holiday, this is your place!
This was my first time up to Big White but it left a great first impression. I lucked out and had beautiful weather. On top of that however, the skating Rink was huge and very well maintained. I haven't had a chance to go skiing yet but it is now on my list of things to do.
So amazing. Dont think I could possibly ever go back to Whistler having spent a few days here. The place is custom engineered to cater to families and young kids. The village is great. Getting around is a piece of cake, rental and ski school amenities were a pleasure to use. Customer service every where we went was spectacular.
Great snow, lots of different paths to ski, nice selection of bars and restaurants.
Good coverage cold but great skiing great pubs happy people recommend
I've been coming to big white since 1989 and I love it today as much as I did then. So breath taking and beautiful. There's something for everyone's comfort level and things for everyone to enjoy. There's beautiful scenery and wildlife. World class resort
Awesome, we usually take our dog up for snowshoeing on the trails, or go skating!
Love love love this mountain!!! Have always had amazing spring riding here and always want to come back!!! Wish I lived closer haha!!! Amazing snow conditions, awesome people, and in a great location!!!
Awesome place for both ski and relaxation. There is winter activities for everyone
Amazing place great for family's of all ages lots of food options and lots to do even if you don't ski or snow board
Just been spending some time in a chalet here. But great scenery and very friendly people everywhere!! Easy access to get in and out, great walking trails and wildlife!!
Friday night ski or board lift ticket for $10! Nice.
In the summer nobody is there peaceful and really quite. Visiting our relative.
We like a variety of terrain and dining, but feel the village could use some diversity in its business.
Lots of new powder during the last week of spring 2019's season!
One of the best family mountains but signage to Gem Lake as to when open or closed needs to be more up-to-date
If your sick of the whistler experience , you will love this.
A ski resort that is still about skiing, at at the end of the day everyone is at Snowshoe Sam's
If Google would let me I wold give Big White 6 stars.
The BEST place to ski. The snow conditions are consistently amazing. The best facilities for families with young children.
I prefer this place over Whistler. Big mountain but typically fewer people. It feels more cozy and quaint. I really enjoy the runs here.
I live at Big White and the community is wonderful and the views continue to enthral me! You can't go wrong with the skiing either!
Great slopes, frequent fresh powder, not too busy and pretty good weather most of the time
This place is great, the people are friendly, the accommodation is tops. The snowfall here is sic and heaps of good long runs. Luv this place.
First time at Big White, and I gotta say, I love it. The only thing that put a somewhat negative spin on my visit was the info/lift ticket ladies at the front desk at the Happy Valley Lodge. I came in to pick up a mountain map, and when I smiled and said hello, the lady closest to me gave me a brief look as if I had disturbed her, then went back to her computer.
Otherwise, awesome resort. Will be back heaps more this season.
Welcome to the heavens, Awesome mountain for everyone. Plenty of terrain to ride, great snow, one of my favorite mountains to ride when the snows fresh. Easy to get around, epic tree runs. Good for all skill levels. The village is fun, couple of good pubs if you wanna get rowdy and have a few brews.
