Great selection of clothes and accessories. Almost as much as at Selfridges.
Great selection of clothes and accessories. Almost as much as at Selfridges.
Great place you can find everything there and the stuff is very attentive
Not enough staff by a long shot. Every time I come here I end up waiting for ages for a member of staff to get an item for me. This tends to be in the electronics section where most things are locked away. Frustrating when all you want to do is get the thing and give them your money. Not sure why I keep coming back here (proximity to work is the answer), but I really need to stop.
Great store design. Massive range. Great for comparison shopping before ordering from Amazon. I often visit. Rarely buy.

Good
Their service and customer service is a level that other retailers should look at and try and emulate. If I can buy something from them rather than elsewhere even at a slightly increased price I will. If something goes wrong they will try their best to help. Long may this service continue.
Nice store , but the staff at the pickup desk were not very friendly.
It's old school, it's got floors and floors of quality goods, and if you are boycotting Amazon, places like these are a godsend. Great electronics department too, plus a veritable Mac section (which means you can give that Apple Store dystopia down the Road at Regents Street a miss).
John Lewis' flagship store is packed with a variety of fashion, homeware, sports and electrical items across five floors. The customer service, however, is distinctly average. Trying to grab the attention of a 'partner' to query about a product is difficult, even during a non-busy weekday. Those that work in the electrical department aren't exactly knowledgeable either, so I would recommend doing your homework before making an in-store purchase.
Excellent service as always from this exciting and excellent Department store! Staff are beyond reproach and extremely helpful.
I have always come to this store for my girls shoes. The staff are amazing when it comes to dealing with children. I have never had a bad experience, no matter which department I use.
Had a great service from staff when I bought my iPhone and a few bits etc.
The flagship John Lewis store with everything JLP is famous for as well as fabulous food and drink and a good sized Waitrose. What can anyone complain about?
The best!! Great staff, fantastic choice and quality, I love this store
Haberdashery have stopped stocking embroidery/tapestry wool. So a trip wasted and where do you go?
All staff is very good and very friendly. And service it is good
I went into the Oxford Street store to try out a new fragarance. To start with the lady was very helpful but as soon as she realised I just wanted to try it, it was obvious in her manner that she wasn't interested. She was blonde with KGA on her uniform. Actually she lost a sale, because I liked the fragrance and decided I would buy it for a Christmas gift. Now I will go buy it in House of Fraser.
Whatever you want, you can find. But this store is expencive. You can find whatever you are looking for. Generally high priced.
In our family of five we refer to it as the mothership as it has all that we need and is safe and reliable
Say Hi to Keith in shoes, always great service and smiley!
Friendly staff but the slowest service I have ever seen (on every occasion I have shopped there). On my most recent trip there were 5 tills and only 2 people ahead of me: it still took 15 minutes to make a purchase. Seems to be due more to their IT system than the staff though (that being said they so seem to take their time no matter how big the que is)
Always a nice store to visit and a stress free place to shop.
Went in for cat bowls, none available, told to go on line, had travelled specially to get these bowls, little disappointed with JL.
Never knowingly undersold, and they mean it, willing to price match on the day with just a photo or a webpage for proof. Nearly always find what I'm looking for (except when its super specialised) and the staff are knowledgeable. Quality of their own brand is top notch and it never seems to be 'filler'.
I was here to buy a gift for mom and the variety is great for one stop shop
Friendly staff and good selection of goods. They are willing to talk to you about the products and explain the pros and cons.
Always love coming here - the Christmas shop especially is a delight!
The assistants are not bothered about the customers and have little to offer in terms of the products they sell. It s all down to the customer, don t go here for advice on products as it s limited and easy to end up buying something you don t want through lack of good information and good service.
The customer service after sales is also very poor. I will never shop here again unless it s for a small emergency item but even then would prefer to shop elsewhere, to sum up lazy, arrogant and rude and far from the image they use to market themselves.
Commercial space with several floors.
The variety is total.
Here we can find some premium brands on display.
Prices follow the average in the sector.
A good support service.
Ease of mobility between floors is adequate.
Very big john lewis, with multiple floors, sells pretty much everything!
Welcome cuppa and a delicious Brownie in the cafe recharged my Christmas shopping
Fantastic. Very nice, empathetic and professional staff. Always willing to help. Great work ethic too.
OMG I love this place it's so much fun to shop here
Friendly and professional advice. Wheelchair accessible all the way.
It's John Lewis what's not to like if only all shops were like this!!!
It's John Lewis, nothing short of the best can be found in here
So many retail products under one roof. Really like the household appliance section too.
Probably great in the day - try to buy a bed and you're interrupting two miserable looking women - zero experience. Looks like its ikea bed for me
This is one of my favourite JL branches for the foodhall, roof garden, and general breadth of products. However, what would make it even better is a proper spa area with wet pedicures and waxing on offer. The nail bar in Blink is great, and I particularly like their quality of manicures, but the service is limited to manicures. A blow dry bar may also be worth considering, as many other department stores have done.
Ordered two pieces of furniture in store just after Christmas still haven't received them: have been bounced back and forth due to very poor levels of internal communications between teams in charge of arranging deliveries. Poorest level of customer service in years. Avoid if you can.
Shopping center very crowded but well-stocked, well-kept environment, friendly and helpful staff
Always a great place to shop, sale not that great, though...
nice store more of an upscle fashion and household retailer.
Love this place, perfect for lunch break to do some laptop work.
The store that has everything - and good versions of to boot. Be sure to check out the London skyline views from the roof garden!
Bought stuff online collected, then 20 min to process VAT, then not accepted at the airport. Too bad.
Very helpful staff, lovely products. But crazy busy
This is a great store in central London. Nothing much to say.
Love the price match with other businesses. As you go through life you find a department you spend majority of your time there!
Have everything although some Christmas ornaments on display where broken
Wonderful escape from hectic Oxford Street on the roof of John Lewis. Looking forward to going back when it's dark to see how Xmasy it is. Food and coffees we had were good, prices a little high for what it was but atmosphere and location easily make up for it!
Love this store - lots of unusual gift ideas & particularly liked the Lebonese cafe at the rear of children's department
The toilets here are incredible. There are so many of them to use, though they are a bit open, and with them being multisex and also have people walking past all the time and trying to buy them is a little weird. AND also there is no toilet paper, not to mention no water or piping. Overall I prefer their private ones.
Great staff. Friendly high street department store. The best idea this chain had was to make employees shareholders. Waitrose/ Ocado is the grocery store/ delivery chain it runs. Always a top supplier of quality merchandise. Features harder to find produce and limited edition favourite special brand products.
