It's quite a nice place.
It's posh, but not overdoing it. The lounge is large, with plenty of calm to have a good conversation.
The staff is professional en helpful. The guys who do the parking and such deserve a special mention of gratitude. They make the difference between four and five stars, in my opinion.
Everything is up to date enough, and the smoking lounge looks interesting. Still the ventilation is, even though it's noisy, sub-par, because you can even smell it one floor up. Which is quite unpleasant.
Verdict: A luxurious hotel, but to my opinion it's pushing the bottom limits of what's still worthy of 5 stars.

Great hotel in Davos. The hotel is unfortunately a bit getting old but still highly recommended. Parking is sometimes a challenge. Bar and lobby is good and tried and you notice the routine. What bothers me is if you z.b. For Jakobshorn it is too far to walk and there is no decent shuttle. That's too bad in the price range.

We were pleased that there was a small vegan selection to eat. We would be happy to discover more vegan on the map soon.

A very nice building and superb suites but at the service level, we are in a good 4 star and not at all in a 5 star (note that the price is also closer to a 4 star). It is really a misfortune for the Swiss hotel industry to see such a leveling down to the European standards of a group that owns 130 hotels.
A huge lack of staff, especially at the restaurant and to take care of the rooms. These are made randomly, at a folk time (when you are asked to check in the time that suits you) ... in 4 days, never the living room of the suite was sucked and the table n ' was never cleaned (to finish we did it ourselves). These are details, but a luxury hotel is precisely the details that are supposed to make the difference ... and here we are far from it.
Only the receptionists are trying to save what can be to give the illusion of a little luxury, and still not all ... a little blonde surly refuses to answer our hello on the pretext that she does not speak French ...
If this hotel did not belong to a group but had an owner present on site, it would be so much more pleasant. There are too many managers who do nothing and not enough staff who really work.
In short, go your way and leave this hotel to the Chinese, they land in numbers in a dying Davos, which dozens of shops are for rent. This city in the mountains has forgotten that it is tourism that makes it live.
My criticism concerns the summer, it seems that in winter the staff is much more numerous ... but it is to check.

Pure luxury - high-security wing at the Economic Forum

Participation in the dinner of GE Healthcare (01.04.2019) and IDKD-Dinner (02.04.2019).



At GE Healthcare's dinner there was a starter salad (a few leaves with roasted seeds) without any dressing, roast veal roast (about 70-80 grams / person), potato gratin, some vegetables and a touch of gravy.

The IDKD dinner was opened with burrata on rocket and pesto (what can you do wrong). Then there was dry pork roast (also about 70-80 grams / person) of three asparagus, croquettes and a hint of sauce. Three desserts buffet, where two desserts were not definable and the creme brulee was fine.

Participation in the IDKD dinner in the amount of 90 CHF. This investment was only worth the company and not the Steigenberger.

You can eat much better in Davos ...... ..

Good hotel price / quality. Well located close to station and ski gondola. Clean room and amazing breakfast.

Simply great - short term stays - felt like kings. Everything there and courteous.

Enjoyed our second Christmas eve dinner with family at the wonderful Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvedere. Highly recommended culinary experience.

Browse around the Steigenberger Bellevue hotel in Davos, where my niece works this winter, and afterwards taste the atmosphere at Bellevue on the beautiful location in Zurich on Lake Zurich. Enjoyed a Rosemary tea and cocktail !!

Nice hotel. Ground substance old, tastefully renovated but not topmodern. Huge breakfast buffet, swimming pool ok, could be cleaner. Staff at the front desk top, at bar a bit inexperienced (winter high season). Free shuttle.

Courteous service. Furnishing old fashioned. Unfortunately, it did not work out that we could move after skiing in the hotel before we start the journey home, although it was promised. We then moved together in the men's room in the basement.

5 Star + from me. A beautiful Hotel in a great Location. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I liked the room we got, which was very spacious and comfortable. Nothing we missed but even more we would have dreamed of. The breakfast was very generous with a lot of choices. And even special wished where not a problem at all. The spa area is just great to relax and wasn't too busy when we went. I haven't tried the gym room but it looked good too. Would not hesitate to book again.

Stayed overnight in this hotel at the end of September 2018. Excellent hotel. Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcome reception. The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent with rain shower and bathtub. An absolute must.

With a mix of modern and old Europe style this hotel was lovely to stay at. What I loved best and felt made the Belvedere stand out, was the attention to the little things to make you stay feel special, for example, friendly service, complimentary shuttle services, on checkout would we like a bottle of water each for our train journey, in the room a piece of fresh fruit, cake and some mixed nuts, additional room service check and a nice little chocolate from them in the early evening, cocktail invitation with staff, drink and nibble on the front entrance balcony, wonderful service at breakfast.
Also well equipped for skiers and boarders, with a shuttle service that runs to the main lifts.
Three restaurants and a drinks bar with plenty of space to feel relaxed.

Even if the hotel in the form of the rooms and corridors already a bit getting old so it captivates by cleanliness, ideas for environmental protection, first-class food and last but not least with great staff!

A hotel is a facility that hosts and hosts us and the Belvedere is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

We have passed tens of times at this wonderful hotel and thought again and again, that's probably not for us, too expensive our league. But if you look at the hotel site the rooms with special offers, it has fair offers where People like us can spend a few days. I was alone in this hotel and I was really treated top. I never felt unwelcome. At least in the Belvedere restaurant I felt a little lost ..... that was it for me in the bistro Voila super pleasant for me (dinner)
The only thing I would complain about is the weight room. Very small and 2 units did not work and it was muggy warm in the room. For a 3 star house this would not bother me, but for a top house a little bit I'll be back, but then for two. The single room was enough in size and the bed was really generous Gross. And the balcony on the 4th floor also super. The shower was also great (rainforest shower).

Loved this place! Visited in the summer and didn't want to leave. Facilities are awesome.

The first time the service was 5 stars, so much that I came back.
The second time, the attendance at breakfast, left a lot to be desired. The employees were in a bad mood, uneducated. I had to wait 20 minutes for a cup of coffee and when I complained I heard that the hotel was full and that it only had one machine. The other waiter told me that the next time he would bring me a bottle of coffee so he did not have to bring me several coffee .... sorry, I will not come back

Absolutely lovely ethos with very pleasant/ helpful staff - only small issue was some shortages at breakfast when the hotel was very busy - very good facilities especially the pool area

As befits a five star hotel, it is stylish and elegant in every way. The outstanding thing, however, is the attentive and friendly service.

With good tips and honest advice, the weekend was unforgettable.
The services of the hotel and Davos Klosters are not to be despised here either.

This hotel is reasonably priced for Davos, with clean rooms. Somewhat noisy. Old-style European hotel room and furnishings. Davos is a great location to visit for a few days. The train ride from Zurich through the mountains is spectacular!
