Big White Ski Resort Ltd Review

My favorite mountain when it comes to ski/snowboarding, I always try to make atleast 1 trip a year during the winter months to enjoy the best powdered mountain BC has to offer.

This year we decided to spend out new yrs in Big white and was indeed an awsome experience, from the service to the snowy runs to food to accommodation, eveuthing was wonderful and can't wait to come back next winter.

Great snow, decent terrain. Busy on weekends and holidays. Good place to shred with the family.

Can't beat the snow quality (dry) anywhere in North America and the village is a picture. It's the perfect family ski resort.

Many things to do and places to eat. Has excellent hills and fantastic service. The hills are more on the easy-ish side with some more challenge so great spread for all people to ski at all levels. The village is great here and has many things to do even if you are not a crazy person for skiing.

Good skiing and no lift lines. They could use more expert runs

There was 15" of champagne powder, how can I not give 5 stars?! Although the lift tickets at $100 a piece are starting to get pricey for a mountain that is relatively small with limited terrain compared to a Whistler or Revelstoke

Beautiful mountain great for skiing and snowboarding but be careful in the parking lot as the season ends. Its like it has never been paved over and is only pot holes. Like driving over a cheese grater.

This place is a great family ski resort. Snow was amazing, runs were long and lines were reasonable. Can't wait to return.

The only drawback of big white I experienced was the fog and high winds at the top. Hint: for much better food value and less crowds - take the gondola to the Happy Valley daylodge for almost everything.

Fabulous!! Everything you could want for a winter get away and more. Very friendly staff everywhere on the mountain!! From the restaurants to the ski patrol!

I love this place, the equipment is excellent and are always in great condition.
People are always friendly and happy.

Where else has ski in and ski out access to every amenity on the hill?

Great mountain, lots of runs and lifts. I definitely recommend coming up more than once to get the full experience

When exhausted and stressed,you should take a ride to big white. All there is bubbly

Skiing is awesome, fresh powder some of the lifties are not grumpy but probably cause they aren't doing turns

We had tons of fresh snow during our ski-week. Light was flat at times but the abundant natural snow is so worth it! Had 1 spectacular blue sky sunny day, following by 5 days and nights of snowfall. Condo was great, ski in/ski out. Village always a buzz of activities and cool shops and restaurants. Great time!

Totally socked in both days we were here. It ain't called Big White Out for nothing.

Amazing resort, definitely worth the trip from Vancouver

We were blessed with some seriously nice snow during our stay, but everything about the place was great. Yes, there are a lot of groomers, but there is great terrain everywhere you turn if you know where to look.
Everything about booking here is a breeze, as you can get everything taken care of through their central reservations. And I mean everything. Takes so much stress out of trying to piecemeal a trip together with a hundred different people to deal with

We came for tubing, never being here before we didn t know what to expect however we were really happy with what was there. We couldn t believe how big it was, how could someone get board? We will definitely be coming again and staying for longer. There s ice climbing, skating, horse drawn carriage rides, kids activities, fire pits and so much more to do. The people working there seem to all be having fun and when asked would even spin us down the hill. I don t remember when I laughed so hard.

The snow quality is good, the snow trails are long, the layout of the whole snow field is reasonable, and it is near the city.

Loved it. More friendly than Whistler. Good for young people as well as families

Snow is so much better than Whistler and not freezing like the Rockies . Best all round ski resort in Canada. All lodges are ski in ski out. Its awesome.

Being American I had never heard of Big White . Well I m glad I was informed about how amazing this ski area and resort are. From the fantastic restaurants, friendly staff, great trails and conditions... this is a world class ski destination, and I ve skiied quite a few. I m excited to come back!!

Great snow, horrible visibility, the gem lake express had three chairs get stuck together and sat in the cold and very strong winds for an hour. Not a good experience.

Week in Big White is like month in Hawaii!

Big white is a great place to go and enjoy fun activities. It's great for any ages. Plus they are open during the summer now.

A very family oriented ski resort! Love that you don t have to pay to take the gondola up to the village!

Great snow, good selection of runs; some days skiing in the clouds, but thats probsbly why its called big white

Love it up here. Been skiing or boarding up here since 1994.

Been there twice. It's fun and the skiing is good, as are the people. Don't like the village layout, and be careful the liquor store closes early! Restaurants are decent, nothing fantastic. Be great for families. Road system needs improvement, we had guests and parking is yuk.

Our favorite place and definitely we never got a chance to take a picture because we are always having fun with the family.

Truly amazing: great for the whole family. Enough challenging runs for experts, enough beginner runs...and I really like how there are many options for going down (ie: you can take the Black, the Blue or the Green...your choice) most of the time. This really allows for a group with different skills levels to still ride together.

Also...apres ski with kids activities is genius.

Didn't get to snow board don't use your American card unless your bank is in fromed first our bank wouldn't let us use our money at all on the card or ATM so had to drive all the way home 3 hrs big when we looked amazing the front ticket people are rude we tried to get help and the chick was rude we will definitely be back though it was beautiful and looked very fun

This resort is so awesome. There's so much to do and now that they have summer activities I just can't wait to visit all year round. The only thing this place is missing is a Hot Springs. Amazing restaurants, good skiing conditions, beautiful buildings. I'd love to live up there year round.

Nice resort with great ski conditions. You can even do some night skiing. I'll definitely go back.

I travel halfway across the globe to be there to ski...no other place like it.
