Want to give Big White a 5 star rating because it is a great hill! But the prices make it tough to visit. I don't have enough time to make a seasons pass work, and the local pass is only $12 off the $95 day pass, plus tax. Then gas to get there, a snack, a drink, and it's well over $100 for a random visit. Wish it could be done somehow for 60 or less, but I digress...

Great mountain, plan ahead and ski all the peaks. Be kind to the locals and they will share a few tips for the secret stash. Pray the Cliff Chair is running and if you need a more mellow experience with expert terrain park at Gem Lake

Wicked runs and so much fun in the trees. Definitely hit up the black Forrest chiar. It's where it's at.
The snow on the car was just from 11-4 well we where riding. We got fresh lines all day if you know how to find them.

Holy! What an amazing hill! Never been before, it's actually a village! So much fun. The snow was great as well, especially this late in the season (not that they can control that! Haha).

Highly recommended!

Great hill with a great variety of runs. The rental process was (relatively) speedy, and they had shops handy in case you forgot your goggles or mitts, which didn't feel like they were gouging you. Lots of choices for eats in the village, and I loved the fact that they had day lodges at the bottom of other parts of the hill, which meant you didn't have to go far for lunch, and the places in the central village area weren't as crowded. The adventure area was great too! Lots of things to do for those who don't ski.

Beautiful views, not too crowded, lots of runs, great lessons for the kids. Getting to Kelowna can be a bit iffy if the weather kicks up, so you might want to give some thought to travel insurance.

Best snow for price ratio of any mountain I've been to in BC. Runs are long enough with lots of side banks. Hidden tree trails were everywhere and great variety of terrain park features. Would come here over Whistler any day.

Awesome place! Basically a little town! My Biggest mistake was renting a vehicle. I should have taken a shuttle, as once you are there, the village has all your amenities (including liqour)!

One of my favorite Ski Resorts in Canada!

We travel to different ski resorts often and Big White has to be in my top two. The mountain is HUGE so even when it is busy it doesn't feel like it. The weather in Kelowna is usually amazing as well which makes the experience just that much better. The Village is also extremely robust so if you have people joining you who won't be skiing there is no shortage of things to do and places to eat. Just make sure you bring your low visibility goggles, they call it big white out for a reason. :p

A truly delightful ski resort. I have been coming to Big White for years and am filled with child like wonder and awe every time I go. The staff really do know how much of a magical place their work is and are always so friendly. Always a joy to come and experience a winter wonderland in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

One of the most beautiful Ski resorts I have visited. Very family atmosphere.
I am a beginner and I always go on green tracks. Big White's green slopes are much more difficult than other places I've visited.

A very family-friendly resort. not too big ski area with somewhat outdated chairlifts. However, you are immediately on the slopes in the village and usually have no long walks to walk. The slopes are groomed and the catering options are varied. The location is compared to other ski areas in Canada such as Whistler rather calm

Beautiful resort! The slopes are nicely groomed with very little moggles or bumps (expect on the sides) and have a lot of variety. There are lots of long blue runs that will keep you from getting bored and there are a variety of green runs as well. I did not see too many black runs (just one or two) but the ones I did do, were enjoyable :)

Such a great place for our family to ski. The snow is amazing and the terrain is diverse. The only downsides are the foggy days from time to time and the village is still a bit small and surprising underdeveloped for the quality of the mountain.

Thank you Big White ski school staff! This week with the virus is extremely stressful for everyone involved and the staff is doing their best to accommodate people but also follow Big White policy. Thank you especially to Etienne, from UK for the private snow board lesson for our son who was disappointed to not get into a group lessons because things were taking longer than anticipated. We love Big White and will continue to enjoy the resort for many years to come.

I had never seen such a long lineup and didn't expect spending lots of time in the lineup. I still love Big White but they should consider to change website and other systems for clear information.

First time boarding in Canada... Great resort with excellent lift facilities and a large ski area. Really good for boarders of all levels. Lots of wide open green runs and plenty of amazing tree runs. Can't beat the snow here also - it's not called big white for nothing!

Great ski resort with a lot of variety on the trails. Not as high as other rocky resorts; however, they get a lot more snow. One good bowl, and many glares available within the skiing bounds. Grocery store, skating rink, Ice climbing wall, ski Doo trails and many other amenities within the village
