Great blend of glades and easy runs such that advanced and less experienced riders can stick together throughout the day. Loved it!
Great blend of glades and easy runs such that advanced and less experienced riders can stick together throughout the day. Loved it!
Great snow, great runs & amazing high speed lifts . Very little waiting in lift lines!
Huge amount of great runs, the day we went was very windy at the top with poor visibility. Some great tight glades on the black Forest side.
Six days of some of the best skiing we've enjoyed ever. Blue skies, fresh snow, great grooming, wonderful off-piste runs, excellent lift system, comfortable hotel that was ski-in/ski out, and a great selection of fine restaurants made it overall an excellent vacation. This was our second trip to Big White, and hopefully it won't be the last.
Great snow! Occasionally foggy, but never soggy. Unless you're looking for double black diamond runs you'll have more ban for the buck here than at coastal hills. Super friendly people (they're mostly Australian so what do you expect?) And all ski in ski out accommodation.
Awesome powder! Tons of interesting trails. Highly recommended!
First day back with Family, enjoyed 11cm of fresh powder. A little "BigWhite Out" conditions but still decent enough. My children enjoyed the lessons and regained their knowledge and confidence from last season. Here's to a great season!
Dry snow. Good accommodation. Large hill. No extreme terrain past cliff chair which is substantial. One of the best Canadian ski Hills with so much ski in ski out accommodation.
Amazing ski resort with great runs and top-notch powder
Had an absolute blast on this hill. Lots of fresh power, wide variety of runs, and it wasn t that busy compared to lake Louise or sunshine village.
Great place for skiing and other winter activities!!!
Love parking access to gondola and black forest tree runs
Awesome hill, awesome snow. Gets better every year.
Spent a weekend with my friends and made so many memories. Can't wait for my next trip!
Pretty good ski resort. It's not the best at anything but it's a fine place to spend a day
Been there during the summer but by the looks of it it is really a great place to ski. A lot of options.
Amazing snow, tons of runs, food and accommodation options abound.
Awesome place to ski. However, prices aren't that awesome...
Awesome place, crazy amounts of snow, but I highly recommend 4x4 capability for mid January visits! We had to cut our trip a little short today because my 2x4 truck was having some difficulties in the soft snow :(
Great ski hill for all levels! My kids love it here.
Finally had the opportunity to experience this hill without fog (2nd time here), and loved it. Not aggressive by Canadian Rocky standards, but the hill has something for everyone.
We stayed in the village at the White Crystal Inn and had an excellent experience. The Hotel could use some updating, however it's location cannot be beat.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Woods Restaraunt across the way. And I demoed and purchased an excellent pair of skis for an even better price at Dizzy's, just a few steps from the hotel.
We missed a 17" dump of snow by a few days. Evidently this hill gets a ton of traffic as the main runs were largely skied out after only 3 days; But with a little adventuring pockets of uncut could be found all over, and we had an excellent time skiing with good company and good food.
I will absolutely be returning regardless of the 14hr drive from Saskatoon, SK.
I've never been to a better resort*. The snow is great, the village is amazing, the staff makes you think you've traveled to Australia. All around perfect place for a family snow vacation
*Note I've never been to another resort ;)
Awesome amount of powder most days and lots to explore. Village has pretty much anything you could need and actually isn't too inflated for being on a resort. Snowpine estates is a bit of a hike and buses aren't very frequent. Drive up can be slippery so definitely take your time. Overall, one of my favorite ski resorts for sure. Definitely prefer over the Albertan hills!
I have been here a couple of times. I find the kitchen lacking. Perhaps there should be a standard system of outfitting each kitchen ( we stayed in two different places). This last time we asked whether they could provide a large pot, something to cook pasta in and what they gave us was another frying pan. We already had four on site. I find that I am going out to purchase necessary items. For the price you pay, they could be more on top of this.
Was there on Wednesday February 12th 2020 and it was the clearest day of the season and also my first day at Big White. Skied the cliff chair from the peak 8 times and there was some amazing blower powder despite a 5cm snowfall total for 24 hours. Huck's were had and hollars from afar, I'd definitely hit up this mountain again soon!
Went Tubing with my Wife and two kids, 7 and 3. We all had an awesome time! The staff at the Big White is always happy and energetic. Great place to spend a night out.
Beautiful place, really tight roads and lots of difficult access for arriving/departing guests
Great snow all the time. There's always something untouched.
Great place with tons of terrain for all levels of skiers. Has everything you need for a great time. Runs are long its been snowing regularly making for decent black diamond runs. The blues are fast and lots of fun.
Big White is amazing!! I even proposed to my fiance here! (She said yes)
The hill was the foggiest weather I have ever skied in but when the sun came through the clouds and you could see where you were it was beautiful. No lines at lifts and a wide area for night skiing.
Stayed at a friend's ski-in-ski-out condo, near the end of the ski season for the long Easter weekend. The snow was still great and it wasn't busy at all! Highly recommend it. Nice powder..
Lots of variety, great snow, and the perfect hill to bring the family.
I really love Big White. Every year you will see something newly built and improved including the friendly service. Dry powder snow is my favorite part of the resort. It's a great family friendly place to be.
Best family ski resort for a reason. Most accommodation is ski in ski out, terrain has good mix of easy, intermediate, and advanced terrain. Skiing for advanced skiers is ok, but amazing on a powder day. Also named big white for the windy cloud cover.
Definitely bring skates (or rent there) as there is a large ice rink for skating/hockey. Also same area has tubing, ice climbing, and snowmobile rentals.
If coming in from Kelowna, would recommend grocery shopping in Kelowna as big white only has one store which is on pricer side, but great for restocking.
The prices have gone up over the years, but Big White is still the best ski hill in the interior.
It was so foggy like pea soup. I couldn't see anything.
I had a great time sloaps where in great condition. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Everything you want in a ski resort, lots of activities around the village and great facilities. Our family loved our visit.
A bit flat for those who want to experience big mountain skiing. However, for family trip it's unbeatable and there is a ton of snow. The viklage is very cool too.
Nothing tops a proper ski in/ski out resort with fantastic staff to run it
Amazing snow, great terrain options and family friendly.
Great stay - friendly, accomodatinf staff, clean rooms and good food all around.
Great winter fun. Well laid out and playful mountain. Snow wasn't great when I went but still a lot of fun. Cliff chair was steep and did lots of laps there. Park is fun and there's a good mountain culture about this place.
It's great for families and for the powder. Sometimes the tree skiing can even be spectacular, and gem lake chair is awesome. However, expert skiers may find themselves craving something more challenging.
Great walking trails for the no bikers. Amazing views!
Amazing snow! Plenty of runs and lifts for all skill levels! Huge terrain park for those into that and a lift dedicated to taking you up and down the park, not just a T-bar or carpet for once.
Amazing... kids oriented.. family oriented..and adult oriented...
One of my favorite parts of the Okanagan. Awesome changes this last year, and the snow is awesome, especially in the spring!
Big open spaces, nicely kept day lodges, skiing and snowboarding of course, but also tubing and ice skating. A wonderful family place. Something for everyone.
Great place for all levels of skier. Top quality snow. A big resort when it comes to ski runs. Lots of variety both price wise and in style of accommodation. Great value...
