I am happy to report we are the happy owners of a new 2012 Honda Civic. At first I was going to settle for a used car, but we purchased a new car instead, and the Beaverton team was very helpful.

Chris and Maria, both from the online team of customer service reps contacted me constantly reminding me about offers and hoping to give an appointment to go look at cars.

Finally tired of spending $40 a day on gas for my humongous SUV, I pulled my people together, and we went directly to the Honda dealership on Canyon Road Saturday afternoon.

There I asked for Tony, as recommended by Maria, and was helped by Mr. Smiley Sheridan Hop. We had the best experience with Sheridan. He catered not only to me (the driver), but to (the buyer) my dad who is a 74 yrs Spanish/Italian old school man, my very difficult to please 72 yrs old mom and their hyper dog Joey.

Mr Hop is an excellent salesman, and he became personable. He developed trust. He catered to our needs, making us feel welcomed and cared for. He took us by the hand and took care of us.

It was the best car sales experience I have ever had in my whole life. And when my mom is ready to trade-in her car, we will go back to Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda's best salesman team ever.

Sheridan knows the meaning of customer care. Great experiences are passed by word of mouth. Luckily for them, I am a social butterfly.

Thanks to Maria & Chris for the initial contact, to Sheridan for providing great service, to Juan the sales manager and to Danny the finance guru for lowering the interest rate and completing the sale.

I've gone to dealerships twice in my life to buy a car and my experience with Robert Soto at Lanphere Honda in Beaverton was so much better than my experience in Gladstone that it's difficult to compare them. The process was as casual and calm as I could've liked, the price was reasonable and the vehicle has been reliable and problem-free since I bought it last year. No pressure sales, they had the car I wanted, and the price was decent. If you want the peace-of-mind of a dealership purchase along with the respect and calmness of a private sale, I can't recommend this place (and Robert Soto, specifically) enough. A+

Elmo and Tim could not have been more helpful. We told them what we needed and they found the perfect car for our situation. It was actually a really fun experience. Elmo s personality was a great fit for our family and Tim, also, made us feel comfortable and confident. It all went as efficiently as could be expected. We won t hesitate to visit again for our next vehicle purchase.

Three words: pushy car salesman. I used to own a used car dealership, so I know how the industry works. This dealership was the classic sleezeball dealer when we went in to look at a car: smile, claim one low no haggle price, and then try and push you on the car then and there. At $1000-$1500 above sticker price shown, once they sit down and add in all fees (not one low price, bait and switch). And they will try their hardest to not let you leave. They use all the classic tactics, and when you tell them you want to go home and sleep on it, the closer comes in to push you around. Even though they claim no closer, and one person start to finish. They'll track on so many fees you can go a Portland Toyota dealership I won't name and buy a brand new 2018 Camry for a lower monthly payment, despite the higher sticker price. Don't buy here. They are pushy pushy pushy once they get you to that desk. Run far far away and don't look back.

Disclaimer: this dealership lied to my wife and tricked her into a hard credit pull, vs using the credit union pre approval. This put another hard pull on her credit score and dropped her out of the top-tier. They flat out lied to her about it. I knew they would, she didn't know any better and trusted them, and it's coming back to han haunt her. You'd be better off dealing with the Devil, at least you know upfront he's going to screw you.

They were very transparent and there was none of the pressure we received from other car manufacturers we were interested in as well. This ease made all of the difference along with the fact that they searched as far as eastern Oregon/Washington to find the specific color inside and out we wanted. The best every car buying experience ever.

We had been working with two different people about seeing a van that had recently been a trade-in. We were told that we were at the top of the list and would be told as soon as the van was detailed and ready to be seen. The morning that we were told that it would most likely be ready, I went online and could not find the van. I called and was told that they sold it to an employee the night before. Really disappointed and frustrated with their service.

I was very dissatisfied with my visit. Purchasing my first car turned from an exciting event into stressful nightmare.
First of all sales people have nearly no interest into customers: not providing any information or details about the car, not showing all available options and what is the differences.
Second, and most disappointing - lots of cars are in bad conditions (new cars!), with scratches on plastic parts. And after they washed the car I found even more scratches on plastic which was very disappointing as at other dealerships all sensitive parts were covered with cover so when you get new car it really looks like new.
When I pointed sales on the defects they tried to convince me that it s ok, and not worth to worry about.
Will I return here again - no. Will I recommend it to someone - never ever. I prefer to build long term relationships with dealers, serve and update cars at the same place. This place has no trust.

Instant help checking in, very informative of what my service would be. Once inside I was helped by Anton. He kept me informed throughout the entire process. Wonderful personality and so clear on everything being done. The waiting area was very comfortable with food and drink available, a media lounge and a fireplace! And and a treat waiting for me in my car. The whole experience was wonderful!

My buying experience was excellent at Beaverton Ho...

My buying experience was excellent at Beaverton Honda. (5 stars) Of course it should have been since we paid cash, for a new Accord, but they did give us an excellent trade in amount for our used car. After the sale however, it's been very disappointing in terms of service. This dealership is set up to serve themselves and not the customer. (0 Stars)

First, we needed to have a few accessories installed since we purchased our car on a Saturday evening. Things like trunk net for packages etc and door trim; nothing which is overly complicated or time consuming. I called to make an appointment (first mistake-they make everyone listen to their commercials for 5 minutes before they pick up the phone) Then they told me that they want the car for 4-6 hours to perform the work. They insisted so I had to drive about 12 miles and get a loaner from them. Total time wasted out of my day = 2.5 hours.

Three months later I noticed some scuff marks on the black inside door panels so I called and asked for the parts department to get a recommendation on what to use figuring that they would be the experts and could tell me. After spending 5 minutes on the phone with the parts department trying to convince the person I reached that "somebody" in their dealership must have at least one suggestion on what to use....like maybe someone in the detail department?? Still, the less than helpful person refused to call anyone to get further suggestions. So, I drove to the dealership and walked onto the sale floor and asked for the sales manager and told him how un helpful his support staff was. He apologized and referred me to a couple of product that could be found at any auto parts store. I thanked him and left.

Then last weekend I was stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes in downtown Portland and the car began sputtering whereby I put it in neutral and revved the engine to keep it gong. Soon I got on then off the freeway and stopped at a light whereby the car promptly stalled and quit. I put it park, started the engine again, and quickly put it into drive and sped on. Obviously there was something going on with the car in the electronics somewhere. The next day I called to see if I could bring it over and have it hooked up to the computer to see what the problem was. Bet you can't guess how they responded? They want me to leave the car for 4-6 hours for tests, because "it's not that easy to diagnose" they say. To the service department, "everyone was born yesterday!" They think we're stupid! We know their computers weren't running on MS DOS. Everything with Beaverton Honda is for their convenience and not the customers. To make a customer wait for 4-6 hours for something that takes just a few minutes is ridiculous, and once again will take 2+ hours or more of my time after they again give me a loaner. A long time ago a person could make an appointment for something as predictable as this.

I see a pattern here and I really don't like it. I only wished that I had done my homework on their service department before I had purchased the car. If you happen to see a 2016 Black Honda V6 Accord with great looking wheels in a Toyota used car lot here soon, you'll know what the straw was that broke the camels back.

My family purchased a new Pilot from Beaverton Hon...

My family purchased a new Pilot from Beaverton Honda at the end of 2014. Our experience started when I made a few phone calls to the dealership to inquire about inventory, specs and prices. The lady who answered the phone (I think it was Megan...I hope, if not, sorry to the Angelic phone lady). We were given straight, clear answers with no pressure. I fully expected some run-around as you might expect shopping for a new car, but I genuinely thought she cared about this huge purchase of ours and enjoyed her job. Honestly, it's one of the main reasons why we drove all the way from Salem to check out the vehicles.

When we arrived, the place was absolutely beautiful, spotless clean and they even had complimentary water, soda and ice cream...what! Yes, friggin ice cream! Brilliant! We met our sales lady, Emily, and quickly determined she was the ancestor of the Virgin Mary. Emily was very knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, genuinely interested in what we needed, not what she wanted to sell. Honestly, it was such a fun experience (I know, hard to believe buying a car could be fun) that towards the end, I really didn't care what the car cost. A Honda Pilot is the same in Beaverton as it is in Tokyo, but it's the experience of being at a special place and with a special person that made all the difference.

When I buy a Honda again, I will make it my mission in life to buy one from Beaverton Honda. We loved Emily so much, that we named our new 2015 Honda Pilot Touring........"Emily"

Cheers!

I had the most wonderful experience with Bob Lanph...

I had the most wonderful experience with Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Honda yesterday! When I walked in I was greeted with smile and an eager sales associate, Brandyn Gill, to help me. After discussing for few minutes what was important to me in a car, we set out to tour the lot. After having walked the lot for awhile and not finding "the one" he took me back inside to check the computer for potential cars at their partnering dealers. Every step of the way Brandyn was patient and attentive to my wants.

We ended up finding a couple cars down the street, where we quickly set out to go look at and test drive the cars.

At no, point did I feel pressured to buy a car. But when I did find the one, Brandyn quickly jumped into action to get the sale finished. At Beaverton Honda they have a one man, one price motto. No haggling, no stress, no being passed from sales associate to sales associate.

I would both recommend them to anyone, but I will also go back when the time comes for me!

I went in to Beaverton Honda yesterday and had the pleasure of working with Mike Mcintosh. I'm only 23, so buying a car is so out of my realm of knowledge. Mike was patient, let me ask all my questions and never got frustrated when I repeated my self a 100x. He broke down all the numbers and options for me in a way that made sense and worked within my budget, and the process from start to finish was awesome. I really appreciated how kind and honest he was, on top of being extremely knowledgable of all the cars as well as the financial aspect of it. I would highly recommend him and will be sending my family to see him when it comes time to trade in our other Honda leases. I excitedly drove away in a 2016 CRV and couldn't be happier with my choice of car or my experience with Mike and Honda!

We are very happy and satisfied customers with our business dealing with Mike. Mike provided great customer service from the beginning all the way to the end. He was very patient with us especially when were undecided between the Honda CRV and Honda HRV. Mike was even accommodating enough to let us have a lunch break to finalize our decisions. Albeit it was the longest transaction, we felt that we left the dealership happy with our purchase and not feeling rushed. In fact, he showed us side by side comparison of the 2 vehicles and answered all the questions we had with professionalism. Our biggest concern walking in the dealership was pushy and aggressive car salesperson which we experienced the day before at a different location. We were both glad that Mike never displayed any pushiness and that he understood that we wanted a vehicle that fits our budget. Mike further showed excellent customer service when we came in on 01/16/17 to pick up our rear seat cover, he told us that he would call if it arrives sooner and even offered to drop it off at our place. Mike didn't had to do that and we appreciate his effort to provide customer service above and beyond what is expected of him. Since we are very happy with our service here, we are looking forward to future business with Mike and Beaverton Honda Lanphere's. Sincerely, Dustin and Angel

My family and I spent memorial weekend at Seaside when at some point we lost the keys to our Honda Pilot. On Memorial day there were no locksmiths that could help us and the nearest dealerships service departments were closed. I reached out to the Honda dealership in Beaverton and got ahold of Bill Stallard. We were in quite the tough situation being that my family of 5 was 7 hrs from home and our other set of keys. Bill went above and beyond reaching out to his team to find a way to get my family and car to Beaverton so that we could get a key and back on the road home. This by far is the best service and help I have ever received from a car dealership. I can honestly say that if this is how Honda customers are treated I will be Honda owner for life.

We purchased our Honda CRV with Belinda, who was patient and thorough with our transaction. We weren't fully expecting to leave the lot with a new car and trading in our beloved Honda Fit, but here we are! We had a ton of questions and needed to work through financing options, and she laid everything out for us clearly so there was not confusion at all. Thanks Beaverton Honda!

This is probably the best dealership that I've ever been to in my life and I'm almost 50 years old. I almost thought they were faking they were so nice and polite- and it's not just one person- they're all nice and they always ask if they can help you, they're always happy..... I am suuuuuuuper impressed. I purchased a car 2 years ago from McCords Vancouver Toyota in Vancouver, WA. and during the buying process, they were amazing. After I was under contract, their attitudes changed significantly to the point to where, I KNEW I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN... They weren't patient anymore. If I had an issue, I felt like I was an aggravation to them. They caused a damage to my car and then refused to take care of it. It became a pain and even if there was an issue with my car, I wouldn't take it in. But now, I have a new car and a new attitude! I love this dealership and the employees and if you want an extremely positive experience for the long run, come here, come here! You won't regret it!

Enjoyed free drinks and snacks next to the fireplace while we waited for the 5,000 miles maintenance and oil change on our Honda Insight hybrid. We used a coupon for a discount which you need to give to the service representative when they get you to write up the order. Great service, honest evaluation about the condition of the car (it is in excellent condition and they said so), and helpful advice to a couple of questions we had.

Honda has been my family's preferred car for two generations now. Being from India, buying a new car carries a lot of pressure and hectic bargaining. Bob Lanphere's Honda was simply one of the best professionally run dealership I have ever done business with.

I had been researching for a 2012 Honda Accord for sometime and was in touch with Chris from the online sales team at Beaverton Honda. Chris and Ragen who is the business development manager went out of there way to send constant emails informing me of the best rates and inventory available.

Myke and Andrew were the sales people who attended me at the dealership while I was deciding on my Honda Accord. They were extremely helpful and friendly which was great. Ben was the Sales manager who helped me applying for the credit and did a great job to give me a comparable price with Wilsonville Honda for the same trim level. Jasmin was the service representative who was very cordial and welcomed me to there service center.

Danny Lucero was of great help to take me through the Honda warranty guidelines. He was extremely helpful and instrumental for the documentation and approval of my loan through the Honda Financials. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A 5 STAR IF THEY HAD DELIVERED MY ACCORD WITH A NEW BATTERY. My battery died after the car was delivered and had to make a trip to the dealership within 24 hours to get a new battery.

My only suggestion is to check the delivery process and make sure such a isolated instance does not happen with any other customer.

Have you ever had such a bad experience that you have to log into social reviews to complain even though you hate yelp, google plus, etc. with a passion because people have nothing nice to say? Yeah, it's that bad, and now it has made me one of those people.

I am on day three of waiting to hear back from a manager. Why you ask? Because this place is ridiculous. I actually have a list of things that I am waiting to hear back from. I thought purchasing a certified pre-owned car from Honda would be a great experience, now I am contemplating never buying a Honda again.

Here is the list of issues I have had in the first year of buying a car:

1. Service typically takes at least two hours, even for a oil change
2. They upsell you on things that you do not need (I actually have physical proof of this, they said that I needed to get my transmission fluid changed a year ago, I didn't, and it is completely fine this year)
3. I have had to replace my tires on my car, within a year.
4. Tire Pressure Monitoring System is broken, again, after a year. This came up when I purchased the car. This was not due to tire change, as the light was on prior to tire change.
5. My breaks need to be replaced after a year
6. I had to re register the car within two months after purchasing it. The DMV people and DEQ people both said that Honda was ridiculous for having me do this.

Still waiting on that call back.....

Bottom line: Do NOT go to to Bob Lanphere's Honda ...

Bottom line: Do NOT go to to Bob Lanphere's Honda car dealership. You may come out scared and mistreated. I'll explain...

I am not a first time customer to this dealership and in the past I gave them a full score in review. The initial experience I had blew me away with how professional and accommodating the these people were. BUT...

This time around my experience was the polar opposite and THEN some ( * ). Not all people are as nice and professional. Today I had to deal with "Rusty," who had no business to be in customer relations, considering how ill-treated I had felt when talking to this employee.

In the 30 minutes we spoke to each other, this employee would NOT look me in the eye when speaking to you - he wasn't cross-eyed or the sort. Respectful human interactions require basic minimums and I did not feel like I was speaking to a human. "Rusty" gave me raw numbers and verbally drilled me of profit margins (unfortunately true) he wants to make - implying why he should value my car under Kelly Blue Book. Honda allows Bob Lanphere's to have disrespectful robots in its employ.

( * ) We couldn't come into a reasonable agreement. I wanted his superiors to know how I felt with the particular employee, "Rusty", and I said "you suck [as an employee]." He proceeds to aggressively approach me. "Tell me that to my face!" - Not only did already have a miserable experience with this very individual, but he also nearly assaulted me. He is bigger than I am(5'6") and I felt threatened for my life.

The manager present did not bother to stop their employee during the altercation and had the audacity to chase after me as I was getting in car and HAD to talk to me for a good 5 minutes on how his employee was in the wrong. I was already shivering the from past altercation, now I am shivering from staying outside in 39 degree weather for 5 minutes.

This is not over as I plan on seeking options of action for how I was treated, and I wanted to stop to take my time to tell you of my experiences I had with this dealership. You don't have to feel scared or disrespected when purchasing a car so please heed my warning when I say avoid this dealership. They don't deserve your money, but if you must, do NOT deal with 'Rusty" and don't go in alone.

The Internet Manager, Dave Kroll, and our sales associate, Belinda Kellough, worked hard for our business. They were both forthcoming with information, and did not game the numbers. I sold Beaverton Honda a car on 9/3/17. I was told it would take 10 days to receive payment. It took me multiple attempts to contact the check, and was told: "check is in the mail." In the end, it took over a month, and only due to my diligence in following up was it resolved. The GSM admitted that there were multiple screw-ups, but it doesn't negate the fact they "sat" on money that was owed to me for over two weeks. That's inexcusable. I expected more from Beaverton Honda. And, just as disappointed I was in the dealership's failure to make timely payment for the car I sold the dealership, is how they failed to find a resolution.

Asha, our sales rep, was amazing. She has energy and very patient. She understands that buying process is stressful. If you want someone to give you multiple options to be able to finance a car, you have to go to her. She is genuine and wants the customer to have all the information to make a good decision. The rest of the team members were helpful as well.
Not to mention they have a HUGE lot. I went in wanting the exactly car, trim, and color I wanted and they were the only ones that had it.

First of all, we have really high praise for our sales consultant Manuel Madrigal. He was professional, courteous, and best of all he put up with an onslaught of texts and responses at all different times of the day. Additionally, he was tenacious about getting us a deal that fit within our budget. We felt like he was on our team for the entire experience. Finally, what really made this a good experience, was that Honda very obviously cared about the Covid-19 epidemic rules and precautions. From test driving the vehicle, to signing the paperwork, even to the point of us driving the car off of the lot, we felt safe and well taken care of. In close, we got this car since we are about to have a baby and it is exactly what we needed. We feel like we got a really good deal.

I required the services of a tow truck yesterday and called a number in the phone book that was near where I was. Now I can't remember his name but he arrived within 7 minutes. He asked if I was a Beaverton Honda customer. I said no - I drive a Toyota. He was quick, courteous, and efficient in a difficult situation. And then(!) charged me nothing, saying this is part of their service. I am so impressed I'll probably take my car there when it needs service.

In this era of little customer service, thank you, Beaverton Honda.

I went in to lease a new accord sport it was late and the car I purchased was black so I didn t notice the rim was scrapped until the next morning when I saw my car in the daylight. They delivered to me in the front of the Dealership rather than in the service lane or delivery area. And the car didn t even have a full tank of gas when I left with it. When I called to schedule the fix of the rim I was given the run around for days before someone finally told me that they wouldn t even schedule to fix my rim until the loan was funded which wasn t a problem however I didn t know it wasn t even funded yet. After I was finally able to get an appt scheduled for them to fix my rim I went to pick up my car and immediately after leaving the dealership the tire light came on. I again had to return for them to reset the light and after visiting 3 times with only having purchased my car 2 weeks prior they gave me gas. The attendant drove back to the dealership the whole way with the gas cap open. Overall wasn t a good experience and I hope to not have to return.

5 years ago I had a terrible experience at this dealership. I planned to never come here again and left a negative review. The next day I received a phone call from Jeff Dewald the Service Manager regarding the negative review. He assured me if I came in he would take it upon himself to fix the issues from 5 years and fix current recalls on my civic. I still can't believe it, but he followed through and then some. The annoying seatbelt light is finally off after 5 years, my car was detailed and even though I was not easy to deal with, he made it right. I can't be thankful enough for the experience Jeff & the service team provided. Completely restored my faith in the dealership. You can tell Jeff is a great leader and runs a great service team as everyone is polite and happy. Thanks again,

Horrible Service. Power steering oil was leaking. They changed the Power steering pump instead of the Power Steering Hose and the leak continued. Later they detected the problem and changed the hose. Pump change was unnecessary which costed me 500$.

3/30 update- just found out the license plate on my vehicle with tags through 2017 aren't valid, as in not registered with the DMV nor associated with my vehicle.. how does a dealership sell a car with invalid plate/tags?! SO odd. They are reimbursing me for the cost but it's still ridiculous.. so.. make sure your plates are legit before you drive off their lot.
I received a follow up email from dealership (as noted below in comments) however nothing was done... we all know they're not going to give a refund so it is what it is...
Horrible. They would not negotiate the price whatsoever, not even $300 that my lender said I needed for the loan (because their best price was over the value my bank felt the car was worth). My TRADE-IN?? They gave me $1500 for it and literally less than a week later I see it listed on their website for $6497.. not the "best price". Their "best price" is truly just the best price for them. Also, they only gave me one key and after closing said they wouldn't comp me another key, nothing they can (would) do about it.. The voice command controls is completely locked down because they didn't swipe it clean before they resold it so the old owner's PIN has is locked up (they corrected this issue). Absolutely NO customer service, absolutely NO customer care, just a lot of insincere apologies. If I could do it over, I'd go to another dealership. I will NEVER buy from them again.

I was blown away. I didn t half to haggle with price. The car is a 10 out of 10. They would not sell the vehicle without changing the brakes and it s clear they inspect all the used vehicles they sell on their lot. This vehicle is a one owner rig and repeat buyer. It s immaculately maintained. I appreciated all the service records. I bought it for a commuter car. After my experience with Beaverton Honds I ll probably buy new in the future after my recent experience. They even filled the tank after wash and detail. Thank you! Randy Brosius and family .

Wow! Where do I start? What a different experience in buying a car. Brian was AMAZING! He was so patient with me. One price, no back and forth between the salesman and the sales manager, made sure everything on the car was in tip top shape, car washed, car even delivered to my house in Washington by Brian himself-not a gopher. I would absolutely buy from him again.

Transparent prices. No haggle and no pressure. Prices are competitive to other dealers and you shop with peace of mind without getting ripped off. I highly recommend Beaverton Honda for your next car purchase.

My girlfriend and I visited this Honda dealership and April our salesperson was very kind, courteous, and professional and showed us several cars for sale. We did not end up buying a car, but enjoyed our experience and recommend asking for April because she is great!

The best dealership i ve been to. Very accommodating, willing to problem solve and work with any situation. We came in they had the exact car I wanted and very shortly later I left with my new car. Very friendly and knowledgeable we will be coming back to this dealership going forward.

Best car purchasing experience I have ever had! I dislike buying a car and was expecting the usual high pressure, low trade in, hours long wait I have always experienced. I was surprised at the professional and courteous treatment I received. I got an outstanding trade-in value on my car. No pressure to buy things I didn t need and drove away in less than 2 hours! Can t say enough about how great this Honda dealership is!

Belinda was fabulous to work with! She listened to what I wanted and needed in a car from a features and payment perspective and then showed me all of the options available. She was so knowledgeable that I felt very confident in my final choice being the best fit for me and my family. Best car buying experience!

This was the fifth dealership I visited in the last three weeks. My only regret is that it was not the first. The vehicles were fairly priced and all options were clearly explained. I was surprised that the salesperson pointed me to a better/newer vehicle that was actually cheaper than the one I drove from Vancouver to see. After shopping around and working with numerous dealerships/salespeople, I would only recommend this dealership for all your Honda needs.

Best customer service experience I ever had. This ...

Best customer service experience I ever had. This was my first visit for my Honda Pilot 2014. When you get there, you stay in your car and somebody would come to help you. Then you get an estimate and you sign a piece of paper When my car was ready, they called me (I went for a walk with my kids). Then I got 2 emails (one has a website link that has all my car info and the other with a doc title "know your vehicle").
You get a hard copy from them too. And when yo pay, you get an email with a copy of the transaction. It was an awesome experience, and would like to thank everybody there.
