Best Western Saddleback Inn & Suites Review

Very unhappy with our stay. Staff was very rude, rooms weren t ready until 5pm. We will not be staying here again.

The Best Western Plus Saddleback Inn at 4300 SW 3rd St in Oklahoma City was just that. PLUS!! Everything about the Hotel was clean, well presented, comfortable, working properly and well presented. We stayed in 11 different hotels during our trip and this hotel surpassed our expectations by far. I highly recommend this hotel and its staff. A very pleasurable experience and if given the opportunity, I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms were very clean the service was excellent the staff were extremely nice and helpful. It was a very satisfying stay.

My husband and I decided to stay here because they were recommended by white water! We checked in around 2pm went out for our day and returned and went to bed. Around 2am my husband started getting itchy and felt something crawling on him, he ended up killing a BED BUG! We got up and we saw some more! My husband turned around and had bites all over his back. We immediately got our stuff and went down to the lobby to inform them about the incident and leave. We were told by the guy that it wasn't the hotel it was the people, making it seem like we brought our own bed bugs. We were also told we would get a refund and talk to a manager later that day since it was 2am! 6pm no refund no call! We called them. The lady that answered had no care in the world about our issues and kept saying they had no managers and wouldn't have a manager until Tuesday! Her tone of voice was completely disrespectful and rude! I think their staff needs some customer service training and need a better protocol when they have customers with this big of an issue. If I were managing this hotel, weekend/holiday or not I would make this my priority to make sure the customer left this horrible situation in an okay mood! Not pissed off like we are right now. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever!

If need a place to stay overnight this is the place. Great service, nice location, and beautiful rooms. Highly recommended staying here.

We were very comfortable and were given a very friendly reception. The room was clean and spacious. The lobby had an entertaining Western vibe and breakfast was Grrreat!

Accomadations are great. Comfy beds and pillows. Night staff was helpful but day staff was rude and loud. We stayed for 3 days and on our first morning the cleaning staff knocked at 9am, wakinge us up to see of we wanted service, talked to the front desk said that is how the staff works, no apology offered. Next morning we were awakened to at least 4 employees in the next room complaining very loudly about there job and other things...not a very happy stay.

Stayed here last night for the first time. No complaints! Check in was easy, room was very clean and comfortable and quiet! Pet friendly with separate area to take the dogs. Buffet breakfast offered a good array of options. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. We would stay here again.

Because I live in state I had to leave a 200$ deposit, and the staff (all but one really nice lady from house keeping ) acted like I wasn't qualified to be in their establishment. Absolutely embarrassing

I was about to book your hotel and decided to read the reviews. Just have to say that I have been laughing and shaking my head reading the unprofessional, blame-shifting, attacking comments from the management on these reviews. After reading them, I would never stay here, even though it looks like a nice hotel. I will book elsewhere. If that's how you communicate publicly in writing to your customers, God only knows how you treat them when no one is watching. Time to grow up... accept the feedback, change when things are wrong, and move on. How immature!

Overall great hotel to stay at! Rooms were really nice and themed well. The bar was a nice plus and both bartenders were super friendly and helpful, it was cool as well that the bar was double sided so you could be on the patio next to the pool or inside. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because of the breakfast. Still a hot breakfast which was great but there was only one server so the line got pretty long and the food choices were pretty limited

For the price there are other hotels in the area with a better experience.

The saddleback inn is the best. We stay there every year for family vacation. It is convienient, safe, and very comfortable. The breakfast is awesome and so is the service every time.

Very nice hotel. Rooms very clean and staff is friendly. Great breakfast fresh and hot. Really enjoyed the front of the hotel outside and the entrance. Bed could of been a little softer for my liking. It was cold so the pool was closed, but it looked like a nice pool with the changing colors. Vending machines..... well that is another opinion. They need to be serviced or replaced. The fitness center looked nice even tho I did not use it. .The eating facility was clean and well maintain. The bar had several people in it,and they looked like they where enjoying themselves. Overall pretty good hotel. I will stay there again. Give them a try, I am sure you will like them,

This is an older motel with updated amenities. Heated whirpool and swimming pool outdoors. The bar has a small but personal atmosphere. The grill also has really good food as well. The staff was very helpful and a pleasure too. Co-driver and myself were broke down. While truck was in the shop, we stayed here.

Noisy. Defective deadbolt. Breakfast ran out early. Couldn t find ice machine even after calling lobby. Lobby not accessible without walking clear around exterior of motel in the dark

Do not pass this place up because of the exterior look! The rooms or updated and clean and much nicer than places we have stayed for a lot more money traveling across the country

Great, best night sleep in a hotel I have had in a long time. Good friendly staff. Not to be funny but the pillows are so comfortable.

Well, it's dubbed "saddleback" for a reason. A horse was locked in a trailer all night on the street outside my room, stomping furiously. It was impossible to sleep. Not something hotel staff can control, perhaps, but it's important to note that this is a noisy location with many of the rooms facing streets. Lots of big, diesel pick-ups driving through and idling just outside your window at all hours. The staff is friendly and as helpful as possible I think. The building is old. Mold is showing through paint on the ceiling above the bed, and a poorly patched hole was in the ceiling in the bathroom. It has a musty, old smell throughout. Lighting in the breakfast area is super harsh. Not great for the price.

First time visit. I took a chance on this instead of the Sheraton, still happy with my decision. Front staff could use training on response to guests. She assumed I was upset and repeated to mention check in time. My feedback was "okay". After the 3rd time, I was annoyed. Room was great and so was grounds.

The beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing, clean and refreshing especially after our long drive. We will definitely stay at this location the next time I have a business trip.

Above average Best Western Plus hotel. PLUS: comfortable beds. Large TV. Adequate Parking. Clean. Southwestern Decor. Southwestern food choices. Zuni meatloaf was very good. MINUS: No microwave. Dated decor. Unacceptably loud vent duct in bathroom. No breakfast buffet. Menu choices easily exceeded $6.00 coupon. Front desk personnel (depending on who you got) were slow and not real friendly but not impolite. Significant construction going on. Ordered BLAST sandwich off of menu and didn't get sprouts or ketchup for fries. Basically, got BLT with hint of avocado. For the price, not acceptable!

Has a good centralized location with plenty of restraunts within the vicinity however the food in the inside diner at the hotel is a little sub par

I will first say it was very clean. The check in staff and night staff were fantastic and very friendly. They did their best to help, that being said there is a lot of insane party people that stay here. We got almost no sleep, the walls are sooooo thin. Security tried to help, but they were so unruly. Our neighbors I m pretty sure were beating their kids. The appropriate people were called. When we got up the next day there was empty beer boxes flowing out of the trash cash. If it wasn t for awful drunk guests it would have been a decent stay. But you can t get any sleep with how loud they are and how thing the walls are. Also the side of town isn t great at all. Now we have to try and drive hours home exhausted

This hotel is a clean, comfortable stay close to the middle of it all in OKC. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and things to do--our family has stayed here on more than one occasion for a little rest and recreation. Friendly, helpful staff and pet-friendly rooms top it all off as our favorite place to stay in OKC!

We love this place. Anytime we are near OKC we stay here. Friendly, clean, and relaxing. Very chill and their is everything you need. We dont leave for anything unless we have to.

Good things and displeasing things happened during my stay so I will just call it a middle of the road kind of experience and leave it at that

A wonderful place and friendly staff. The food is wonderful and decor delightful. Clean rooms and we'll stocked with all the essentials.

The fitness center is under equiped by far. Also my room key would not open it and even after I had a new one made it didn't work. The resturant is a mandatory 20% gratuity and not worth it. Very operpriced. The room and Hotel itself is very nice though.

has everything you need! great breakfast, nice rooms, friendly staff, pool, hot tub and sauna, smoking area. they do have a 3 mile free shuttle, then $5.00 per person after that for up to 8 miles. Uber might be cheaper depending on where your are going.

Stayed here last year and would have easily given it 4 stars last year. Overall my stay was good and the place was really nice, clean and well equipped. My reasons are the dinner was no was near as good as last year and cost more. Same with the breakfast bar. It is more than a contential breakfast. But again. Last year was so much better. Fresh pancakes and grits on the bar. This year no pancakes and make your own instant grits. Limited fruit. Coffee was excellent. The family like the place they just wish the pool was indoors but really nice hot tub and sauna.

I was there for a conference. The conference room was the same as any standard conference room.

Would have been 4 stars for a typical best western, I hold the "plus" To a higher standard. What makes a plus stand out are the "modern amenities". Usually built in usb's which were not in the king suite. The girls at the desk didn't know what a sundry was. There wasn't one. In fact the antique vending machines rejected my 5$s and I had to go to the desk to get change, no card slot. 1st night there the jacuzi was nice, sauna didn't heat up. Next moring the chemicals were so strong in the jacuzi we could not use it. Like being maced upon entry. Elevator malfunctioned everytime, had to pry it open on the 1st floor. May be the last time I stay there.

Exceptional stay. Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfy and clean. Enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient.

The hotel is not new but it is clean. The furniture in the room was newer, clean and nice. We enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave. The free (full) breakfast was great. We did not use the pool or spa but it looked clean and I will definitely remember my bathing suit and use them next time.

We had our family reunion here. The wood work in the dining room was next level cool. Nice pool area. Close to everything okc has to offer

They've updated the rooms since we were here last time and everything was very clean. Breakfast was hot and delicious.
We were here for the Car Show and it was great to see security walking the parking lot throughout the day and night. As a car show participant this is always a welcome sight! Definitely coming back.

We were just passing thru and needed a place to spend the night. I was pleasantly surprised with the place and recommend it to anyone traveling. They have a restaurant on sight that had decent food. Employees were great! Can't beat the value for the price. Stay here!

Room was great and clean. It was nicely stocked with towels and bath essentials. Parking was convenient and never over crowded. The included breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub that was available for our use. They also had a bar, restaurant, fitness room, and dry sauna room available.

The staff was very friendly, nice shuttle service, dog friendly, they actually seemed to really like dogs... we stayed two days and every single staff member we encountered was friendly... it was nice to get a hot breakfast ... covid really ruined that for a while... the breakfast was the typical free breakfast nothing special but much appreciated!!!! Very friendly servers !!! The room was decent, it was a dog friendly room so nothing to complain about ... nice towels, and hot water ... we paid 20.00 extra for the dog plus a additional 50.00 pet deposit then got sent a room at the back of motel close to the highway .... we then walked to get dinner to go at the saddle back bar (very good dinner) got back to our room and the key cards didn't work ... frustrating ... then after dinner my hubby noticed our debit card was over charged for our pet deposit .. we are truck drivers and stay at hotels all over and have never had to pay a pet deposit .. so was a bit annoyed at the 191.00 over charge.... but in the end the charges got corrected and I edited my review to give a 4 star ... we would go back... it's nice to have a bar/restaurant in house as we didn't have a vehicle...

Attended an event in one of their conference rooms. Which was a good size and fit all the people necessary inside. Ordered a cheeseburger from the menu. The order was delivered fast and with professional courtesy. The food was outstanding, tasted very delicious.
