Best Western Saddleback Inn & Suites Review

I booked a night at the hotel for a night away. I was disappointed when I got to my room. The bed was dirty, the sheets were old and thin and the mattress felt really uncomfortable. The toilet was dirty and the fridge didn t work. We were moved to a room that wasn t much better. I didn t feel comfortable staying here as it was dirty, outdated and noisy outside. I tried powering through it and was going to relax in the hot tub. Disappointedly enough, the hot tub was barely warm and the jets didn t work. However, the manager Tobin handled the situation very professionally and allowed us to have a refund. The bar and kitchen staff was very friendly and professional as well.

Came to stay here because power was out and now power is out at the motel not Best western's fault but hopefully will come back on soon, spoke with the owner today and this place is one of the best I've ever dealt with I'll be staying there tonight with heat

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great room for pets! On first floor with door directly going outside. Very convenient. A bit noisy as right off the freeway, but, I always travel with ear plugs so it was not an issue. Good breakfast also.

Very nice and comfortable. This Best Western was very well kept. I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Beds are comfortable here after a long drive.

Overall, a good place to stay. Great complimentary breakfast. A little to close to I-40, consequently can be a little loud.

Accommodating and friendly staff, don't miss the hot breakfast in the onsite restaurant like we did. Highly recommended.

While the hotel itself was nice, they lose 2* for charging for "incidentals". They charged my credit card $26.40 more than my confirmation email stated. When I called the hotel to complain, the lady I talked to said "there's a sign out front saying we charge for incidentals". Poor answer! You need to have the front-desk people tell customers that as well. We don't like unpleasant surprises.

Not the best experience. However, I'm sure it's just a staff issue. Yet, not having coffee ready at breakfast is simply not decent. Excuses be what they are, y'all dropped the ball. Apart from that, it was nice. Room, front desk, atmosphere, etc all good.

convenient location to interstate with comfortable beds.

The location for this hotel is great for anyone visiting OKC with a rental car. It's pretty much exactly half way between the airport and the arena/convention center area. There is a lot of good food nearby and the free breakfast at the hotel is actually quite good. The rooms were average, nothing to complain about. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a good place for a bachelor party. Close to alot if night life. The rooms were up kept well.

I stay almost exclusively at Best Westerns, and I have to say that this might be one of the nicest BW hotels that I've stayed at, and it definitely had the best breakfast layout. Comfortable rooms, quiet location (but located off the freeway and walking distance to several restaurants), and friendly staff. The breakfast was great - a full layout of actual scrambled eggs (not powdered), sausage, french toast, home fries, waffles, fresh fruit and more. They have actual table service and a very large breakfast area to accommodate the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was clean, close to downtown, delicious breakfast, employees polite and helpful. Great beds and everything in good working order. Will return to it whenever I am in OKC.

Lost our reservation took 2 days to get straightened out and on top of that there is a minor roach problem

We made a reservation at another hotel, and had to leave that one due to bed bugs. I called this hotel and Tom was exceptionally helpful in booking us two rooms last minute! He gave me directions over the phone and even gave us a courtesy call after we checked in to make sure our room was ok! Easily the best customer service we have ever received.

Pros: This hotel is good for a large, value room for families on a budget. The breakfast was phenomenal and the restaurant waitresses were super friendly. The breakfast itself was a value for our family. Pool was very clean. There was a ton of space in the room and when we arrived things were clean. Great value for tickets to Frontier City! The room was very large for a family to have space (we had a king suite) and made it nice for parents to have a little separation from the kids at night.

Cons: We were given misinformation by hotel staff when booking direct with the hotel staff and no one cared when the issue was brought up. We were told that there was a shuttle to Frontier City multiple times, then when we arrived we were told that was incorrect.

My special requests listed in the reservation were not ready when we arrived for our late check in. We waited another hour after check in after reminding the staff, still nothing. I finally went and got the items we needed ourselves (extra pillows, blankets, towels). I had to get my own sheets, towels, etc throughout the stay because the only thing done by housekeeping in 3 days was our trash was dumped once. Mattresses were quite uncomfortable and old and our fridge in the room did not cool properly (we had to put our ice bucket in it to keep it cool). The room we stayed in was dated and the walls are thin and so we can hear everything in the rooms on both sides.

The General Manager called me to apologize for the issues with my stay today, even though I did not request a manager to call. This is highly impressive, as most GM's don't even call you when requested after issues with a hotel stay. I learned that the property has been under renovation (to be fair, there is a sign near the front desk) and that the building we stayed in is one of the last awaiting the upgrades. So, naturally, we would not have experienced the hotel at its best. He has offered my family another stay with them to show the improvements made. We will definitely give them another try, as sometimes situations are a one off. I will update after our next stay.

Broke down was stuck hear for a week this place was amazing , the hot tub and dry suna aas my favourite for was good and the bartenders where so nice

It's Extremely RARE..... That I give 5 stars to a hotel. All I can say is "Feels like my Mom cleaned my room after I messed it up!" Only thing is the location next to noisy highway. That cant be help. Bring earplugs. Front desk had me checked in before I could answer a text message. I can honestly say that if I dropped food on the floor, the 5 second rule will apply here.

Our ac was on the fritz when we checked in and they fixed it so quickly and were very nice! Quick and easy check in and check out!

After traveling for 20 hours, stopped to stay here because of the stars. Worst mistake. They need to train there staff better, all of them . The room had a horrible smell, the shower didn't work correctly, the toilet didn't flush, blow dryer didn't even work. To top all this off I had the do not disturb sign on the door but I guess they can not read because they banging on the door. I will NEVER stay here again.

Comfortable room great service and a wonderful breakfast.

Probably one of our best stays on our trip, very nice hotel, comfortable room and bed. Hotel has both restaurant and lounge on site food good drink good, unfortunately didn't get to use our breakfast vouchers because we woke to no power due to ice storm overnight.

Bed was hard and it felt like they used the wool hospital comforters, bar was closed on a Saturday night

We were in OKC for the BFA futuri ty and spent 5 days at the Saddleback Inn. When we arrived I noticed that our bedding had something brownish looking on it so we requested to have our bedding changed which it was. Our sheets on our bed were thread bare at best. The worst part of our stay was when I noticed a cup with a toilet brush that had been set in my suitcase. I was horrified and placed it in the trashcan and took it to the front desk. I was upset to say the least and the young lady at the front desk took the trashcan and the toilet brush. She offered no apology. Didn't ask my name, room # or anything. She acted like that was something that happened every day. I usually don't like to cause problems but our stay at this hotel was not a pleasant experience! The housekeeping at this hotel is definitely sub par!

Stay away from this place. It has Bed Bugs ! Also it is very annoying and windy because it is next to the highway.
Halliburton bought me two nights in this hotel, the first night was really hard to sleep because it was very loud outside and windy, for the second night I got up around 5 AM with many bites on my right leg, I managed to capture a bed bug off my bed and then I called the front desk, I told the guy that, there is a bed bug on my bed and I have many bites on my buddy, his response was: " we will send someone around 9 o'clock to make sure that there is bed bugs in your room . He did not even offer me a room exchange or anything, he was so mean and unprofessional.
I met with the manager during my check out and he was a nice person, I gave him the bug that I had in a cup and he said he will refund Halliburton for the room cost.

We found the SaddleBack Inn while planning our family trip to Hurricane Harber OKC. Though the partner package with the park was not available at this time due to Covid, we were able to use current promotions to reserve our trip with both the park and motel at the same price point as advertised.
Now on to all the great things offered at the Saddleback
We were staying 3 days 2 nights with 2 of the days spent at the water park. 3 adults 1 child and 2 toddlers. My first trip with our oldest daughter and our grandbabies. <3
First impression is just what I expected the Lobby is done a Western Lodge feel. The front desk was on point and friendly. We were given a room right off the pool and outside dining area. It meet our needs in every way. Clean, Up to date and Comfortable. I honestly don't pay much attention to my room unless it's bad. Lol.
Now on to what I feel was the Crown Jewels to our stay with the BW Saddleback. The Pool Courtyard/ Outdoor Dinning Bar Area.
Ok that's a mouthful. But it's worth saying. The Atmosphere and ambience that the Staff and Location provided was top notch. The Restuarant witch has just recently relaunched, offered a well thought out menu with a southwest flair. Every night after the park we were able to kick back and enjoy dinner and drinks without even a thought of going somewhere else. Every morning they offered a true breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, fried taters, biscuits and drinks. (Cofee was spot on)Though it was on the go due to the current Covid precautions. They made it work.
Now the above and beyond for me.
I don't know how many of you have tried to take a family of a six with toddlers to a water park...... but the amount of stuff you need to pack with you. SMH. The Shuttle service that is offered in the stay was a God send and it saves you 20 dollars a day. Plenty of room. Quick and easy service. (Literally Minutes from the park) Tina and the other drivers Awesome. Because of other commitments, part of the fam had to leave at different times. We even forgot the diaper bag one morning and had to make an emergency trip back and that went so smooth that the 3 yr old had just asked wheres Mommy for the first time and she was back. And on our last night the Manager was there to pick us up. Great guy on point with his Customer Care and on his Brand Promotion. Thanks for the suggestion on hitting up the pool and dining before our long trip home. It was just what we needed to relax a bit after 3 full days of sun and fun before a long drive home.
We didn't even make it out of the drive way before the plans for the return trip was started.

Nice hotel with professional friendly staff, I don't have any transportation while I'm in town but the hotel does have a shuttle and lot's of good restaurants within walking distance.

I haven't stayed here for over a year, & I go out of my way to avoid this place. The clerk treated me like a criminal because I paid with a prepaid card. She put me in a distant, isolated room, refused to turn on the phone (for local calls), & sent the security guard to inspect before I could check out, delaying me so long I almost missed my taxi to the airport. I am a clean & quiet guest, & I stay in motels fairly frequently. Virtually never am I treated as badly as I was here! I suspect the clerk wanted an excuse seize the balance on the prepaid card. The manager did respond & offer a discounted night, but I 'd do about anything to avoid this place. Moreover, my parents stayed here regularly long ago, until someone got so hateful that they never returned. Physically I had a nice, clean room. The food was decent as was the waitress.

The staff is great, breakfast was the best we have had at a hotel and it was buffet style. Shuttle will run you anywhere within 3 miles for free, which is awesome! Only real issue we had was the bed was extremely firm!

The room was very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and they even had a late brunch for everyone that was out late for New Year

There 4 days, internet only worked the last day. Breakfast was good though. Front staff seemed rather snobby.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. Perfect for me. It's close to the interstate, gas stations, and restaurants. Very clean, and the staff is always friendly.

Pimps and homeless people love this area I stayed here one night with a friend and no the room was not in my name just stay in your room after dark good breakfast thats all

My stay their was so nice. Amazing staff . Great food. Best sleep I had in awhile .

Plane delayed because of thunderstorm, wife, daughter and dog sat in car for 3 hours until I was able to land. Too beat to drive we had to find a pet friendly hotel at 1:30 in the morning. Thanx to you and your staff for everything you did for us.

Sitting in the bar and the bartender seriously has to go to the kitchen every time she needs ice. Ice machine is broken and management won't let her have a bucket so she can fill the well. Really, dudes? No ice?

I stayed there 4 days. It's in the middle of no where away from all the other hotels in OKC. When I arrived there were guys with no shirts on that looked homeless fixing a car in the parking lot. It looked like that car had been there a while. Our room was extremely dirty. Our friends in the room next to us and several other guests had bugs all over there room. Their Staff was incompetent. The worst hotel i ever stayed in and I've stayed in atleast 3-4 hotels a year for the past 20 years! This should be a 1-2 star motel no way it's 4 stars!!! Never again!!!

I stayed at this hotel for an event and was coming from Texas. When I drove up to the hotel, I was shocked and instead thought I was at a motel. The exterior looks horrible. It was definitely not as advertised online. I am giving this facility a three star, only because the inside of the room as clean and presentable. However, it was definitely not what I was expecting for the price!

The hotel is nice but kinda pricy for the level of amenities. The service was good though.

The guest services that I have came in contact with are extremely helpful, the breakfast was delicious, so far I have been treated like a five star guest. Thanks guys.

Once again Best Western plus came through. It was a great stay. Newly remodeled great conference rooms. Restaurant was fantastic. The staff were on their toes. From meetings to birthday parties. Sport teams the wjole nine yards. Most bang for your buck. Ill stay there again next time im in town.

Had a great stay here! Staff was very friendly. I traveled from colorado to oklahoma for a show (airplane) the shuttle rides from hotel to event center that the hotel offers, we're great! This place welcomed me and my service dog, which is always a plus! Will definitely be staying at this hotel chain again when I need to travel. Room was clean. Hotel was nice and clean as well.

The frontdesk is worst! She let us feel were not welcome, the way she looked at us. And treat us. Her name is hannah. So disappointing.
Frontdesk should be the first one who will let the customer feel that staying in best western is worth it. We regret that we booked here for days.

Amazing staff! Our room is very clean and furnished well. We are staying in a queen suite ... Awesome floor plan. We will make this our home away from home for our business trips. Nice pool and other amenities. I highly recommend and the pricing is terrific! Many places to visit in the area and close to the highway but this place is well built.. I can't hear the highway from inside our room. Great place! 5 Stars from us! We even brought our fur baby who travels with us all the time and he was accepted and greeted with smiles. Great experience, thank you all

I was discriminated against for have a service dog!!! They moved me from my king room to a 2 queen in the pet area. They also charged a pet deposit with is ILLEGAL! They need to get updated on their laws before they get sued...

first of all, i'm no hotel snob. our softball team stayed here and i was disappointed overall. Nothing glaring, just not worth the $120 a night (stay and play through the softball organization) when other hotels within a block were half that price (with slightly less amenities).The breakfast was the best part. Rooms were decent, but I was assigned a king bed when my confirmation called for two queens. Instead of accepting feedback, they tried to blame it on me :) I'm fine with that, but they made the mistake since they were completely booked and probably needed additional queens available. Normally, I wouldn't care, but i had two kids with me, so i needed something more than a kinig. They provided a roll out within 1.25 hours (at 11:15 pm) and then they had cancellation (luckily) that allowed me to switch rooms the following day for the last two days of my stay. The place was extremely busy and the pool experience suffered as a result. Finally, two out of the four ice machines were broken throughout our stay and the other one frequently was out of ice. Maintenance finally tried to fix one of the machines on the final day of our stay, but the poor experience was already established. Rooms overall were reasonably comfortable. Don't depend on the shampoo/conditioner, not much more than one use out of the small bottles - and you have to squeeze the heck outta them to get anything out.

My computer got blocked from the wifi network here and I got a message saying I was doing peer to peer file sharing because I tried to connect my VPN. Internet speeds were 5 mbps down and up. Chair at the desk in our room was quite dirty and the seal on the door was very poor making outdoor noises quite audible in the room. The rest of the room was decent enough, though, and we didn't sleep poorly. Breakfast was fairly standard.

I have never stayed in a Best Western Hotel, I really enjoyed my stay there. I would staying again.
