Well, it's dubbed "saddleback" for a reason. A horse was locked in a trailer all night on the street outside my room, stomping furiously. It was impossible to sleep. Not something hotel staff can control, perhaps, but it's important to note that this is a noisy location with many of the rooms facing streets. Lots of big, diesel pick-ups driving through and idling just outside your window at all hours. The staff is friendly and as helpful as possible I think. The building is old. Mold is showing through paint on the ceiling above the bed, and a poorly patched hole was in the ceiling in the bathroom. It has a musty, old smell throughout. Lighting in the breakfast area is super harsh. Not great for the price.
