Not sure 5 stars is enough! Loved everything about this place! Room was clean & comfortable! Bed cozy! Sitting in the super comfy lounge chair with my morning coffee next to the open window with the breeze floating through...heavenly start to my day! We will be back! Pet friendly too & she loved it too!!

Awesome hotel with a quirky dinosaur motif. The rooms were a little tight but very clean and welcoming! The breakfast was awesome-everything was delicious and appetizing!

Shocked at customer service here. Arrived after an 18 hour drive to our hotel room that had a dirty bed and bite-sized decorative pillows that we apparently were supposed to sleep on. Went to talk with the front desk in the morning, asked for different pillows and a comforter for the terribly firm bed. Was offered nothing but a small sheet for comfort and told they had no different regular sized pillows. Was offered a 15% discount which I tried to take, stating that we were going to use that discount to buy ourselves a new pillow. After I said we were going to buy a new pillow with the discount, the man at customer service retracted his discount offer. Cant really believe that this is the best they can offer customers who paid far in advance and made some simple requests. Terrible

This is an old hotel and more like a motel not business-friendly the property is loud, doors slam constantly as people go in and out of their room. There is a good one inch Gap in the door to your room between the door and the floor. Their Pantry items cannot be charged to your room cuz there's no systems in place to do so. Rooms were still being cleaned at 7 p.m. at night all the housekeeping carts were out on the floor. This is definitely not worth the price that you get charged. If you're looking for a budget place this is it but the price is not budget.

This area doesn't look like much but the hotel itself is topnotch. My son enjoyed the fossil replicas in the lobby so much we went to the actual museum they came from. My room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and service were top notch.

The AC works in some rooms better than others and the jets in the hot tub dont work!!! Ive been there 3 times recently and disappointed every time with that.

Horrible customer service!!! I checked in late and received alot of attitude bu the night shift gal. Very short and didn't ever try to be nice. The room had a smell, and I think where place in the side where animals where because I had no sleep!! Management was no help !! I promise I will never stay here even if the dinosaurs where cool , worst custome service ever !!

This was a lovely hotel located just off highway 285. All hotels should be this nice and affordable. The square secured (card key entry) premises houses a unique pool, with hot tub, in the center of the facility with plenty of seating and tables to enjoy the outside. An expanded breakfast is included and beats the average continental style usually found in affordable/budget hotels/motels. There are a lot of amenities (see website for all the details) and the room was fantastic. The location also provides nearby restaurants, shopping, transit, etc. A beautiful experience with a welcoming and friendly staff. They set the standard!

I was visiting Colorado and we're recommended to stay here by a friend. I LOVED this hotel! Beautiful dinosaur theme! great pool! Great restaurant only complaint was that i woke up with allergies and the guy waiter at the pool side restaurant was VERY rude. And made it known to us he wasn't happy with his 3.00 tip. Other then that this place is wonderful and I will definitely be coming back here!!

Was there for A MST3K event. Nice hotels with great amenities. Didn't see the rooms as I wasn't staying there.

Terrible!!!!!!!! Do not stay here. It is not worth it for the money. I had a terrible experience with the staff for several reasons. When I reached out to the management, they were equally rude. The front desk manager argued with me instead of assisting. The staff ruins this hotel!!!

You must stay at Best Westerns in the U.S.A. I recommend becoming a member for their exceptional point program. This B.W. is fantastic for a quick or long stay. Lakewood area is very safe. The accommodations are simple and the bedrooms are very clean. It has various dinosaur art and bones throughout the hotel.

Very nice hotel! The rooms were nice and dated. We really enjoyed the dinosaur theme. Pool and breakfast were awesome. The breakfast ladies were working their butts off and deserve a tip. I am giving 4 stars because of the rude service we received from the two kids working the front desk. There was some miscommunication when we checked in, and they were rude about fixing it. Was told there was no manager on duty at the time... Hmm.. Overall, a great stay, but please train your younger staff how to be friendly when fixing their own mistakes. If you want to be rude, don't work in customer service or guest services, it's simple! Service can make or break a place and take away from how wonderful the rest of the hotel is.

The hotel room was great. Very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning Was delicious. And the pool and hot tub were very well taken care of. The hotel had everything we needed for our weekend stay.

An excellent hotel with such helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfasts, so good that our son and grandson joined us on Christmas day so they could have one too! Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet with great internet connection and good tv.

Location is good from downtown Denver, our room was very clean the pool and hot tub chemical mixture was perfect! Breakfast you can't beat anywhere, was a great way to start the day and coffee all day long. Staff was very personable and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and quiet.

No elevator. Bathroom was small and the sink was in the main room. But there was nothing particularly bad, there just also wasn't anything particularly good either.

They keep the hotel really clean, breakfast is really good, the restaurant has food during inner time, the pool is heat up..... But overall they even have a dinosaur bone collection. 5

The staff at our departure was far friendlier and helpful. Michelle is always interested in our stay. As we have there several times this year. You can have your animals which prompted our 1st stay.
A pool, nummers breakfast wash &dryer. Also the rooms are always clean. We'll stay again.

This is a very friendly, comfortable hotel to stay at in the Denver area. It is very close to the highways and accessible to the mountains. Love the fossils. Best breakfast!

Clean, comfortable, outside pool is very nicely designed great for kids. Decent breakfast. Lots of food choices within walking distance.

I have to give this place a 5 star because of the decor, everything around the facility was about dinosaurs, and my granddaughter loves dinosaurs so you get the extra star. overall a good hotel to stay in.

Great hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Everyone made you feel right at home.
The rooms are clean and smell fresh.
The heated pool and hot tub were fun in the snow.
Fresh water and coffee at all times in the lobby.

It was a place to sleep at the last minute. The a/c barely worked & the sheets had a small blood stain on them. :/ The breakfast was the saddest thing ever...a plastic bag with a fruit (apple or fruit cup), a granola bar & a random bagel some with a cream cheese, some with a tiny peanutbutter packet. The coffee was terrible, worst ever. They did have hot water for tea.

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating...price was right and had all the amenities and location that I needed...the dinosaur aspect was an added bonus and liked hearing about the owners and their friend connection with the museum owners...love when local businesses boost each other! Would definitely recommend and know I will be back!

Always a wonderful stay at this location. Staff is awesome and the place is nice and clean. Oh and their breakfast is great. It's an actual hot breakfast along with all of the cold continental choices as an option as well!

The Dino Hotel (as it is unofficially known) is a modestly sized and beautifully kept hotel in Lakewood. The lobby has replicas of dinosaur bones and other artifacts in cabinets, and the restaurant/bar has replicas of fossils hanging from the ceiling. As an added attraction, the pool is heated all year round. The rooms have a pleasant decor, and the free in-room wi-fi is fast enough to stream HD video. The room rates are extremely reasonable as well. All of the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the area.

Stayed for a night for a concert at The Red Rocks. Pool was nice and quiet, the room was clean. Breakfast was fair.

Very upsetting! I called to book a room, someone answered the phone rudely and put me on hold for 10 minutes before I could let a word in!

Mildly easy to access from a big road, it's a little hidden but most hotels are. Beds are soft and clean. Bathroom is very small, can't close the door if you are sitting on the toilet. No elevator was a little surprising. Stairs seemed flimsy and handrails felt like there were about to break.

if you don t care about front desk service, or basic service 101, place is a good price for what you receive but if you re looking for acknowledgement that you re a human being then don t stay there. Victoria is the worst customer service representative I ve ever dealt with. She needs to work in accounting or at the electric company. Where no one even hears you.

I love staying at the Dino Hotel in Lakewood! The hotel is always clean and beautifully kept up! The staff is very friendly. The beds are heavenly!

Good location off the highway but sort of tucked back behind the gas station. Really cool Dinosaur theme without being hokey. Room was clean, we did have an issue, they offered to move us rooms, but my Hubby was able to fix it well enough to get through the night. Breakfast was OK. The staff was very polite, accommodating, and really made us feel taken care of. The pool was nice and had a semi attached hot tub, it wasn't quite as warm as we like but public ones never are for safety reasons! We have family nearby and will absolutely be staying again in the future.

What an absolutely fantastic hotel! The dinosaur things were amazing, beds are comfortable, staff is extra friendly and very attentive to your needs. The hot tub and pool are ROCKING and our 9 year old had the time of his life! Thanks Best Western!

We have stayed at this Best Western for 2-3 nights every year for the past 5-6 years and love it! It is convenient to concerts at Red Rocks, quiet, clean, friendly staff, great breakfasts!

Service and room were fine, but the breakfast and coffee were perhaps the worst we ve experienced and we travel A LOT. Fine location to get in and out of Denver and my kids loved the decor and expert on Saturday morning to share their Dino knowledge.

Excellent service,breakfast,and rate. The only thing is bathrooms are extremely small.

Front desk worker Victoria was the rudest lady ive everencountered at any hotel ive visited.. she is a poor representative of BW hotels and i recommend her firing before id ever return to that hotel.

This is a great hotel. The outdoor heated pool was great even with temps in the 60s!! We locked out keys in the car and the battery went dead while we were there. The staff jumped into action and was able to unlock and jump our van! We will be back!! Thanks so much to the maintenance men that helped us out of a bind!!

Hotel staff was great, very helpful and friendly. But this hotel is a dump.
Its run down inside and out. First thing trying to walk inside you have to pass in front off multiple people standing in front of the entrance smoking. not everyone in Denver is a pot head so how about making a smoking area away from the entrance!
The area is also sketchy.
Room was outdated, wifi sucked and breakfast was blah.
There are way better options in the Denver Area and I for one will not ever return to this location.

Stayed here when passing through and must say this is very clean, great hospitality. Would stay here again, highly recommend for service and overall stay.

Perfect place to stay for anyone who loves dinosaurs! You also have to check out there partners Dinosaur Ridge and Morrison Natural History Museum.

This hotel is in a great location! Easy access to the highways leading to the surrounding cities. The staff is super friendly. The only reason. I am giving it four stars is because both the bathroom and especially the pool towels were really small. Other than that we had a great stay.

Decent rooms, good breakfast, although breakfast service wasn't that great. Cool dinosaur displays in lobby and every morning during breakfast there is someone in the lobby who talks about fossils or dinosaurs. Nice outdoor pool with hot tub. I've stayed here a few times and have been happy overall.

The staff has been friendly and attentive. The decorations are a blast! They have a ton of stuff from a Pachycephalosaurus head to an Allosaurus skull. Why 4 stars? Beds. Squeeky and old. Also, the walls are a bit thin, we can hear everything in the to next door.

I missed breakfast and was met with distain because of it.

I'd like to start by saying the staff is disgusting. And the good staff they did have either got fired by the soulless manager Alice who is at least 80yr old and shouldn't be working anymore or they quit because of her. I've never met such a heartless old lady like her in my life. I've had ex employees tell me all the time how disgusting she was and the things she's said about me and my husband. I feel bad for the employees there. There is one manager (I forgot her name) but she's mixed and is such a beautiful person. Honest and respectful. The night staff not so much. If all you want is a nice room this is the place but don't expect much respect from the staff.
