Kids absolutely loved the dinosaur theme. The breakfast guy was a sweetheart and hunted up stuff for the kids when he saw us adapting things for one. Rooms were pretty clean and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

Most of the staff are very pleasant and bilingual (English/Spanish). Breakfast was good. The space for breakfast is very small. Good presentation of the building with exception of people smoking in parking lots and by the doors and a few pets.
Like their coffee and the attention of the mucanas very much.

Visited my parents, who were staying here during their stay in the area. They we're thrilled with their stay, and from what I saw when I was there, the hotel was very well maintained. My parents raved about the kindness of the staff and the spectacular atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well setup, I was told the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were very polite when I encountered them. As for location, being right off 285 and Wadsworth, it was quiet and secluded while still centrally located. We highly recommend this hotel if staying in the area.

Very nice updated in 2014. Good job. Great hot breakfast with items being replenised all the time. Good cooks & service ladies in breakfast area. Little hard to find so be sure you check directions before you arrive in area. It's north of Hampden , off Girton on east side of Wadsworth.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel! and the included breakfast is amazing. Fresh made to order omelets and for all you paleontologists out there you need to see this hotel. Students come there to study the artifacts and as long as you are there, enjoy their superior service. When I'm in Denver this is where I stay.

Dinos!

The front desk clerk Matt was very unprofessional. The woman who took my reservation did not remember to add that I was bringing my pet. Matt advised the room reserved was not a pet room then stating he had no room for us. He did not even try to accommodate us at first. Someone else handled the situation and authorized the override to overbook.

We get to the room to find that the TV will not turn on. I called the front desk to advise and Matt's reply was that he would "get to it whenever he could". That's the worst customer service statement I have ever heard. He eventually arrived.

If a hotel is going to make the guest pay for products of any kind, they should at least keep the machines stocked at all times and if a guess advises of them being empty, it is expected that it is done sooner than later. I waited at the front desk for a good 5 minutes watching 2 employees talk to each other when all I needed was change for a dollar. Someone walking by noticed the dollar in my hand and gave me change.

The breakfast was good.

No one went out of their way to make our stay good. I will never go back to that hotel.

The hotel is a dinosaur-themed hotel whose walls are filled with murals of dinosaurs. The hotel room was not modern but it was clean and the bed and wash basin was a little low, but with children we were satisfied. Pool of hotel was wide, and warm spa was able to spend time with children.

Nice staff. Neat little dinosaur exhibit in the lobby. Standard Continental breakfast. Rooms were clean but the bathrooms couldn't be any smaller. Could use an update but a still a good value.

The hotel is off the main streets by just a block. That 1 block gives you a secluded feel that is very nice. Go 1 block and you are close to almost everyplace you will need. There is a gas station, a car wash, Natural Grocers, many restraints, liquor stores, just about anything you can think of. There is a pool, that you can actually use, in the middle of the rooms so even that is secluded. I enjoyed staying here and will be back soon, thank you Best Western

Ok hotel, clean and safe location. A lot of little things make it a bit frustrating. 2 ice machines in the entire hotel, both upfront. The door to your room is a pain and you have to fanagle the handle just right. The internet is super slow.

Not the "BEST" BW I've stayed though. Disappointed to see my bedsheets looked like someone else slept in the bed. That's just one of my "hotel" pet peeves. The second reason this location gets four stars is because I feel like the front desk clerk had zero personality and his uniform looked as dis-shoveled as my bed. Good side The location is convenient to freeway and food, Pet friendly.

Horrible room. No fridge, no microwave, room has mold, smells like piss, there is sticky residue on the wall next to the adjourning room, no real form of security, no real lighting in the parking lot, and I was still charged for the price of a normal room.Diamond select status doesn't matter.. Bad rooms are just bad rooms. The only good thing about the stay here is that you look forward to check out at some point since anything has to be better than this place..if I could give less than a whole star then I would.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The first problem I ran into was that there are no elevators there, my room was on the 2nd floor and I had heavy luggage with me. The employee working did not help me when I asked if I could be moved to a room on the first floor. Most of the staff was rude during my whole stay. I was charged for a night when I was no longer a guest there, when I called to resolve the issue once again the employee was very rude I asked if I can speak to her manager than she got really unprofessional and hung up on me , It's not a decent place to say at all.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly (especially the gentleman running the breakfast) Unfortunately, we had a plumbing issue and were completely without a working toilet the last night of our stay. The front desk put a maintenance ticket in when my mother called, but he never came by to help and they couldn t give us a plunger...? It was a little aggravating walking to the public bathroom last night and early this morning. Aside from that, it was a good hotel. Great price for a clean room and excellent free breakfast.

This hotel has some of the greatest ambiance of any ever hotel ever. The dinosaurs in the lobby are just so neat. It's location, however not the fault of BW, leaves something to be desired. Still worth checking out (bah dun tiss). Warning: pet friendly (dogs barking) and thin floors/ceilings. Within driving distance from great breweries. Fun looking pool.

What's not to love about this hotel!!
*CLEAN!
*Kind and caring staff that are funny and knowledgeable!
*THE POOL!!! The pool is open late so you can soak off the day's stress and hiking pains
*Breakfast....LOTS of variety! And its available until 930 for the late sleepers

My husband and I travel to Denver often and ALWAYS stay at this location. It's close to Red Rocks and only an hour from Summit County for hiking and fun!

Having a son that LOVES dinosaurs, this was a great place for him! The decor, being a dino theme. Traveling alone with my son, safety is an issue with me. I did feel quite safe inside the motel as only guests can use all the exterior doors, anyone without a room key, must use the lobby. The room was very clean and well attended by the cleaning staff each of the five days we stayed. Our room faced a major highway, which we couldn't see from the top floor, but more importantly, couldn't hear inside our room. It is well "tucked"-a bit off the main drag, and not really in walking distance of anything, but it served our purpose of being centrally located. We really didn't spend too much time at the hotel, but for the time that we did, it was great! The breakfast wasn't just cold cereal and donuts. Hot fresh eggs, sausage, waffles, etc., were offered. I also noticed that the Denver police regularly made trips through the parking lot at night. I say this as a positive-I felt safer knowing this!

I have to say this hotel is super cool in the way it looks. It has a dinosaur theme with a bunch of dinosaurs fossils. My son was mesmerised. The staff of the hotel were exceptional with their hospitality. Christina at the front desk was very sweet, funny and genuine, she went way above and beyond for us. The rooms are very clean. The outdoor pool is awesome pretty big along with the jacuzzi. We loved sitting outside and soaking up some sun. They took the proper steps for the covid-19 and it ran really smooth needless to say we really enjoyed our stay

This hotel was such a happy surprise for us. We stayed here on our way through to Utah and our kids were thrilled by the dinosaur fossils everywhere, the zero entry fun shaped pool and the above average continental breakfast. Our room was right near the pool and our room was still quiet, the beds were superb and the whole hotel was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. Bravo, you will have our business every time we drive through Denver!

Great place to stay, my room was nice and quiet and the staff really knew what they were doing (front desk is exceedingly helpful even after i accidentally locked myself out of my room, and chef matt makes some really killer nachos/sandwiches) and the location was really easy to come and go from, even after a light snowfall/icing
However the lack of elevators made unloading and loading pretty tedious (luckily my room was right across from the staircase so it wasn't that bad) and the cable and internet were spotty at times, though this may due to where my room was located because on my second stay it worked like a charm.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit denver, as you really have everything you need for a delightful stay within walking distance (or a short drive)

When I came to check in, I had 3 pieces of heavy luggage. My husband was arriving later. The young man who checked me in gave me a second floor room all the way around the hotel. With no elevator. I m a man in my sixties. I asked if he had More

Clean, comfortable, quiet, professional staff, plenty of outlets in the room, good internet service for basic needs. Didn't use any facilities or have breakfast - for us, it was just a place to sleep and check emails.

We did notice that it's very family friendly - a sandbox area for children to play in, an outdoor pool, dinosaur exhibits in the lobby area. I also can't rate the restaurant and bar, but that's nice to have available inside the hotel.
