Clean, nice pool area. Good breakfast. Great staff.

Good place to stay. When we arrived I thought it was maybe affordable housing.....but the room was nice (no elevator) but carrying all the stuff upstairs was just plain stupid. Bed was comfy, but the pillows where tiny. We used all 6 (2 beds). It s good for a nite....

Staff is very nice and friendly including housekeeping. The hotel is clean and the location is great. I liked the fact that it not on a main street. This is our first trip to CO and picked this hotel because it was close to where our daughter is living. We were definitely not disappointed.

Didn't go in the pool but it was very nice.
Was set great for our travels easy central to nature shopping and venues. We went to a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater. Over all for the money we would definitely stay again!

Very nice place, friendly people, the free breakfast was actually really good,we had a choice of waffles, sausage, biscuits with gravy, muffins, scrambled eggs, donuts, coffee of course, + nice clean rooms, and pets stay free!!!! Even big dogs are welcome!!! Also very reasonable, $76.00 for two queen size beds. Has microwave and refrigerator, and plenty of parking. Free wifi. I highly recommend,especially if you have dogs.

The overnight desk attendant was awesome...the hotel is dinosaur themed with murals in the hallways...dinosaur bone displays in the lobby...the courtyard/pool area looked inviting...only sad I did not have my kids with me as they would have loved it...I checked in late and left early so can't give too thorough a review of other amenities etc...Only complaint is that the shower did not get hot enough, but was the coldest day of the year on the night I stayed, and pipes were bursting all over Denver businesses so I won't hold that against them...

clean, safe, nice selection of amenities, in good repair. long outdoor pool with side spa & wheelchair-friendly. not sure if curvy design allows for laps because I didn't look that closely from one end, but it does look like it would! nice selection of fitness equipment

Clean rooms, not so ideal location being a fair distance from everything. Wasn't in Denver for sightseeing so no biggie.

I liked the room a lot, the staff are all very nice, friendly. The rooms were regularly cleaned by honest staff with no worry of theft, etc. Affordable prices. The convenience factor is garbage. You can't book a room without one credit card that has the entire amount, you cannot split the room reservation on multiple payment sources. To someone who has support can deal with this, but someone new to the country, visiting can be left without having a room...despite booking it through the hotel itself...simply because their software lacks this basic common sense feature even though that person has money in their pocket. The staff although nice, didn't seem to know how to circumvent this issue and I was almost left without a room on my trip. I would go back but I need to prepare myself for a inconvenient, unnecessarily scary situation because best western can't have a common sense software.

The service was great when we checked in at night and the staff at the restaurant was excellent too! Very clean, everyone was very friendly. Now the front desk lady for the morning, a little heavier set and brown hair was totally disrespectful and rude. Worst experience we ve had at a hotel ever and me and my wife have stayed at a lot of hotels. This staff member ruined our entire stay. She definitely should not be working for the front desk dealing with people.

Dinosaur themed with on site paleontologist. Good pool and clean rooms. Breakfast wasn't great but it was free so no complaints.

Amazing stay. Exactly where I wanted to be. 20 minutes from the mountains. 15 (or less) from downtown Denver. Decor was unique and very fun. Very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was much better than expected! (Try the biscuits and gravy! yumm!!)

It's a good hotel. Clean, good breakfast, and allows pets. But, it had two problems that inconvenienced me. First, you are not supposed to leave pets in the room, so you can't keep them there while going out to dine inside somewhere or to see a museum. Of course, there are great outdoor dining options in Colorado that allow dogs, so we did make it work. Second, we were limited in going out because of the dog, and they had NO on-demand movies or TV. We used my iPad to stream a bit, but when you have to keep up with the dog, a pricey movie rental or two would've been a good option. I certainly wouldn't hate to stay there again, but I'd prefer a hotel with more flexibility for what I want to do.

The employees were very nice and took care of all of our needs in a decent amount of time.

This was by far one of cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff went above and beyond what I would normally consider great service. Housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning the room when all I asked for was clean towels.

A unique and comfortable Motel. Amenities are lovely and well maintained. A nice break from the cookie cutter sameness of chain hotels.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was awoken at midnight by a fire alarm, after waiting outside for half an hour in the rain we were let back inside. Only to wake up to some employees knocking on my door me that the fire alarm was set off from MY room and that I had to leave immediately. Extremely unprofessional staff and filthy facilities. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Good but not better than Holiday Inn (reg not Express) I do not like the the way the bathroom is configured!

Room is large, clean and comfortable. 24 hour coffee/read available in the lobby. Breakfast is good, with eggs, sausage, waffle maker, muffins, cereal. It's only two stories, but they do not have an elevator and the ice machines are both on the ground floor. If anyone in your party is a dinosaur fan, this is your spot. Dinosaur murals in the stairwells and as number of fossils on display in the lobby.

Not only did HANNAH decide to take until the last possible second to answer the phone, she then rudely hung up on me mid sentence.

It's the Dinosaur Hotel! Awesome fossil collection and decor. Chenoa, the paleontologist on site spent an hour every day educating my 7 year old son (and 4 year old daughter when she had the attention span)... I don't know if my son or she enjoyed it more. She also gave us all the great places to visit in the area.

As a hotel, however, it is just average. Good breakfast. Clean. But there's no elevator to the second floor and the bathrooms are tiny. If a great hotel is needed, move on. But if you have a budding young scientist or two in your group it's a must stay.

Stayed more than a week here and enjoyed it. Great location to explore Denver from and felt very safe here. Most everything was as expected or better. We felt we got a great deal and will look to this location again when we visit the area.

We were in Lakewood for a family event The experience was great! The continental breakfast and swimming pool were perfect for our large group which included 10 children who ranged from teenagers to an infant. The swimming pool was large for everyone to enjoy!!

A real gem of a well kept hotel if you or your kids like dinosaurs. It's like staying in a museum. We enjoyed our stay in this Denver establishment. Clean and we'll kept premises. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend with dinosaurs or not.

Sucks and poor service no one tells you that there season is in a they charge me 1500.00 for one week I paid and checked out that day

The first time we stayed here we loved the place, so we came back again. We were very disappointed with our second stay because we were stolen from! When we checked out we reported the incident and were simply given a, "Sorry about that." Unacceptable! Don't leave any of your personal belongings out for housekeeping to take!

The renovations are very nice, and the hotel is a great deal for the price. The best part, as it should be, are the incredible beds!

Very cool place with a great breakfast and bar. Staff is excellent and it has a great pool and hot tub. Not really close enough to walk to restaurants but 10+ within a mile drive. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Amazing, cozy feeling hotel. Fossils are on display, as that s the area in which the dinosaurs roamed. No elevator, but it s totally fine. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Waffle iron, pastries, and pork Chile verde eggs in the morning. Clean rooms, cozy beds. No complaints! PS...Green Solution Edgewood is only 10 mins away.

Was shocked by the incredibly rude woman working the night shift: in 5 degree weather Erin told me to wait/die outside even after confirming my friends' name, that he had a room and that he wasn't in said room. My god what an ugly soul! Best Western just went to the bottom of my recommendation list: assuming I survive the night.

This hotel was recently remodeled and its beautiful! Our room was super clean, the bed was very comfy, and the shower was amazing! Friendly staff, clean hotel, and great price!

i found where the fridge and microwave were the whole time. my mistake. i love the breakfast, specially the waffles because you can make them yourself fresh. good choice on tv channels, great staff and always helpful when i needed help. will definitely come next time

OMG is all i can say about this beautiful hotel. From start to finish my stay was wonderful. Front desk staff MATT was welcoming & so very helpful. Breakfast crew was there every morning with fresh hot food. Everything you can imagine was available to eat. There's a restaurant too but I didnt go there. This hotel was the cleanest I have EVER stayed in. The shower looked like noone had ever stepped in it. The toilet paper and guest towels were folded so cute too. There was not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere, the beds were clean, freshly made & so very comfie. Pillows were just the right amount off squishie. There was a fridge/microwave too. My room overlooked the pools and hot tubs. Hallways were clean and quiet. The computer room was great - open late at night. There's a 24 hour cold water/coffee stand up by the front desk The dinosaur decor in this hotel is amazing, and very educational. Dino displays replicas, real fossils, books for reading, etc. There's even a big play sandbox for the kiddos, out front; with a dinosaur. And the location could not have been better- right off HWY 285. This is my go to hotel from now on when traveling in the Denver area!

HOT. DIRTY. ROTTEN MEAT ON THE POORLY MADE NACHOS. THEY GAVE MONEY BACK EXCEPT FOR THE $6 TIP. <br/>THE ROOM IS DIRTY, STAINED SOFA AND CARPET . THE BEDROOM AC IS LACKING, HAD TO BUY A FAN. I WAS TOLD THE ENTIRE HOTEL WAS RECENTLY 100% RENOVATED. I DON'TSEE IT.. THERE IS NO AC IN LOBBY OR STAIRWELLS OR CORRIDORS. HOT AND HUMID. DRUNK PEOPLE AT EVERY EXIT, INCLUDING A FATHER WHO SAID THAT HE HAD JACK DANIELS IN HIS GATORADE, THAT HE OFFERED ME. DRUNK PEOPLE OF ALL AGES INCLUDING IN THE POOL TODAY. TWO GUYS FROM CHICAGO TELLING EVERYONE THAT THEY BOUGHT GUMMY BEARS WITH DOPE IN THEM AND WERE REALLY HIGH AND TRIPPING, REALLY LOOSER? GO BACK TO CHI TOWN. THEY COMPLAINED ABOUT COORS BEER AND KEPT INTERACTING WITH YOUNG KIDS IN THE POOL. HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE. FURNITURE IS OLD, SCRATCHED AND STINKY. BARTENDER IS MISERABLE AND SEEMS TO HATE HIS JOB, AND YOU. NO SMILE, NO CONVERSATION, MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE WE ONLY WANTED FOOD, NOT BOOZE. PEOPLE ON THE SIDE OF THE HOTEL SMOKING ARE STTRRAANNGGE .I DON'T WANT TO BE HIT UP ON BY HOMELESS BEGGARS. I CAN'T SLEEP, JUST WISH I WAS HOME IN MY OWN BED. OR STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR SOMEWHERE ... OH EXCEPT HERE... NO ELEVATORS. THE SIGN AT THE FRONT DESK SAYS "NO ELEVATORS..CONTACT STAFF FOR HELP".<br/>WELL IF YOU SAW THE STAFF, YOU WOULD REGRET EVEN CONSIDERING THIS POS. DON'T STAY HERE... This is the biggest scam IV seen in a long time...incidental damages they take off credit card and then they get to keep your money for 3-10 days.
If that isn't ba bought Staff ran my card so many times it put me in a financial whilwind and put me out of commission to where I have missed a week of work...Lost both my puppies, sitting on an empty gas tank, no $ for food, slept in my car for 2 days and now so sick I'm at a relatives and can't function t go to work.
Please watch this hotel Staff with your credit cards!

The Best Western has the coolest dino decor and the food at their in-house restaurant is awesome!

Nice location near Denver. Super quiet! Bed was very comfortable and room was nice and clean. Impressive decor in the hotel lobby. Great setup for breakfast! I would recommend and plans on staying here when I am in town for business again.

The stay was fine, but when I checked in, a maintenance worker was in the room about to paint. The communication seemed a little off.

We reserved 9 rooms recently for a race recently. Matt in sales was very helpful and assured me their would be no issues. He was correct,it all ran smoothly .We had very nice rooms ,very comfortable . Breakfast was good with a nice variety . It was a nice atmosphere and grounds were nice and clean overall . We would stay again next time we are in town !
