Bellagala Review

DJ Andrew did a great job at our wedding reception of playing music to keep night moving smoothly and the dance floor busy. Samantha was great as our contact in the weeks leading up to the wedding, answering all phone calls and questions quickly. And DJ coordinator Mike did great job of handling finer details and getting the perfect DJ assigned to our big night.

Mary Alice is wonderful! If you aren't sure what order to do things in or how long to devote to group pictures, the ceremony and reception don't worry. She will help you plan all that out in a variety of different way. We had an outside wedding and she showed up in her hiking boots ready to run to catch all the important moments. We contemplated getting a second photographer to be sure that we got all the pictures we needed but Mary Alice was able to capture any moment we could have wanted. She was very personalable with the bride and the groom. We are a very outgoing couple who love to dance and party. Mary Alice was able to fit right in and maintain a professional status. She takes great original pictures and we would go to her again for any professional picture needs.

We hired Ted Whelan through Bellagala as our wedding DJ last June, and could not have been happier! Ted was extremely professional, very detailed oriented, organized, friendly and FUN! He met with us early on to find out exactly what we were envisioning, and then followed up with phone conversations making sure that everything was set just as we wanted.
Ted did a wonderful job announcing throughout the evening. The dance floor was packed all night long! Our night ended with our guests chanting for more music at 1 am! We could not have asked for a better DJ, and highly recommend Ted and Bellagala to anyone looking for an incredible wedding experience! Thank you, Ted!

We loved our wedding photographers, Brandi Leigh and her husband Jared. We chose them partially because we loved what she did with the lighting in each of her outdoor shots, which was important because we had a wedding in the North Carolina mountains, with the reception at a nearby cabin. They really didn t disappoint! They were very conscious of the wedding proceedings, yet also were intrepid enough to get where they needed to best capture the natural beauty of the venue. Another thing they have going for them is their professionalism. They realize how hectic weddings are for the bride and groom; they do their part to review what kind of shots you want taken and with whom, but are also able to adapt in the moment, thus removing a burden from us.

I had the pleasure of working with Nicole L for our July 2017 wedding. She helped with our wedding planning from day 1. She is very talented, easy to work with and professional. We had a great event thanks to her help

MaryAlice was absolutely wonderful. Exceeded all of our expectations and more. She truly made our day special, and we felt so relaxed around her. Everyone in my bridal party comment on her amazing personality. Super easy to work with and very helpful. I was super nervous before the wedding, hoping we would get all the photos we wanted. She immediately put me at ease the second she walked in the room to the bridal suite when the bridal party was getting ready. She was prompt and truly passionate about her work. We wanted to get most of our photos completed before the ceremony...but the first look with my husband was going to be as I walked down the isle, and then we would take our pictures together after the ceremony....she was so creative and fantastic in making sure we did not see each other before the wedding, but got some amazing photos that we will cherish forever! Her assistant Jordan was also amazing!!!! Could not have been more pleased or happier with my photographers :) Would highly recommend!!!! again and again.

Our wedding was this past September and we had Bellagala for our photographer and DJ. I am writing this review now after going through my brothers wedding and realizing how much better ours could have been... Our photographer was Verna, her husband John came along as a second shooter. We loved them, they were so nice and great to work with that day. Beyond that, I would not recommending using Bellagala and would not use them again myself. They make the photo editing department sounds like such a great feature, it is not. All of our photos came back with weird color correction, everything that was blue light looked purple. The biggest problem was the church stain glass was the wrong color, but all the uplighting in the reception was off as well. Many of the photos looked washed out and missed the detail. Because they only distribute 750 photos, a handful of the family photos in the church had people with their eyes closed. When I asked if there were other versions of these photos they acted like they were doing me the biggest favor by giving out six more photos. They worked all winter at color correcting the images, and finally in March (6 months later!!!) I got a new disc with many, but not all of the images corrected. The reality is that my mom's favorite photo is still one that someone took with their photo and filtered with Instagram. They are not at all worth the money. Consider using someone different for your wedding.

Steve Ly made our reception a true party! Bellagala was incredibly helpful when we were selecting our DJ, we loved Steve's profile and immediately booked him. Steve went out of his way to discuss music choices, and meet with us in person before the wedding as well! He made wonderful selections where he had free-range, and honored pretty much every song request I could think of! His timing was perfect, as that is probably the most important. He knew exactly when to start the full crowd on favorite oldies, toss in a few fun group dance songs, plenty of 90s and 00s throwbacks my friends and I screamed along to, and ending the night with absolute bangers. He even took a heartfelt request from a friend of ours as the very last song, dedicated to my now-husband's father who passed away very recently. It was a moment I will never forget. Thank you for making our reception the party we've always dreamed of, Steve!

Underwhelmed. I saw all of the glowing reviews on The Knot, but didn't do my research on other sites. They got all of the family shots we asked for, but that's about all that I was happy with. I got 16 shots of my place cards. I'm not kidding. And not a single shot of our place cards. We decided not to see each other before the ceremony so I know there wasn't a hour long photo shoot of more candid, non-posed, photos of the two of us. We got only three. I wish that had been communicated prior to the end of the wedding because I would have asked for more. We had a wonderful venue in a historic mansion and we hardly got any shots of those details. I'm seriously considering hiring another photographer and asking the venue to rent a few additional hours to get those pictures. I feel like for the money we spent I shouldn't have to do that. We went with Bellagala because of the convenience of not having to search through photographers, but now I really wish we did. They have an amazing sales team, those girls could sell snow to a polar bear. But after you sign the contracts, there isn't any follow up. No check in after the wedding to let you know when the pictures will be ready.

Our DJ, Daniel was so great - he was outgoing, attentive, professional, and cared so much about making our day as special as he could. He spent two hours on the phone with us going through every little detail from our pre-ceremony music, our ceremony music, our social hour music, our dinner music, our dance music, and of course all the special songs (first dance, father/daughter, bouquet toss, etc.). He took meticulous notes to know exactly when each next step was happening, was so great at keeping the event going and announcing to the guests what was happening next. He was truly the "wedding planner" the day of the event - so much more than just playing music. He also checked in often to ensure we were happy with how things were going and asked if there were anything we needed. He coordinated with the venue and our caterer ahead of time to ensure he had what he needed at the venue (extension cords, etc.) so no surprises the day of, showed up early to set up and test everything out, and was super quick at tearing down from the ceremony and setting up for the reception. He also was great at coordinating the toasts and getting the microphone where it needed to go next. Thanks Daniel for a fairy-tale wedding! :)

DJ Nicolas was amazing!! He was fun to work with, professional, and organized. If you get a chance to pick your DJ in advance, I highly recommend selecting Nicolas, you won't be sorry!

We hired Bellagalla to do our wedding pictures and we loved them! They were easy to communicate with and book. We chose Meg G as our photographer and she did a great job. She was professional and so friendly and was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend!

I used Bellagala to find a wedding photographer and was able to pick Andrew P. - who was within my price range. Andrew turned out to be one of my best decisions (other than marry the love of my life). The photos turned out stunning. And for an international wedding with more than 200 people, Andrew and Brian were calm, organized and handled the large crowd very professionally. I highly recommend Andrew!

We had Jonathon S. as our wedding DJ and he was great! He got everyone dancing and played all of the songs we requested. He checked in with us the perfect number of times and did a great job responding to what our guests were enjoying. He was professional and fun and great to work with. Highly recommend!

We used Kim V for photography and could not possibly have been happier--Kim made us both feel comfortable and helped us avoid awkward posing (our natural result) and capture gorgeous photos of my husband and I, along with all of our family, wedding party, and moments from our ceremony and reception that I wouldn't even have seen if it weren't for her eye. I can't recommend her strongly enough!! We also loved Kyle, our DJ, and were thrilled with the guidance and reassurance that Bellagala provided in the planning process. Hire them!

So I booked an Associate level DJ for their "discounted price" of $700 (from $1,600). First, they wanted to charge me a travel fee AND lodging fee because they thought it was over 95 miles ( I luckily did my own research and found it was 89 miles away) so no lodge fee. Second, there is this music library you can select songs from (old songs) but I did my due diligence and sat with my husband for HOURS finding songs WE liked. I was finally assigned a DJ the week of my wedding and had a brief phone call with Adam; he was nice over the phone and seemed to understand I wanted my songs I selected to be played.. Adam was horrible! He didn't play ANY songs from my list except for when I personally went to him and asked him to play songs.

What was the point of my husband and me sitting for HOURS selecting songs??

No one was on the dance floor and he seemed so scared to talk to my guests.. I am very unhappy with the rest of the music after my first dance (which my first dance was played from my phone).

DO NOT USE BELLAGALA FOR DJ!!!!

Sam J. DJ'd our wedding ceremony and reception. We were originally set up with a DJ who was incompetent of the task, but Bellagala was so helpful and organized and they upgraded us to Echelon level and switched us to Sam who immediately connected with us. He was prepared even when we were frantic and unorganized. He was very thorough and did an amazing job. The dance floor was filled all night. He checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure of names and timelines. We had an amazing time and so did our guests. Thank you Sam!

We loved our DJ Derek C! He did such an awesome job. Derek checked in with us before the big day as well as checking in with us the night of our wedding. He played all the songs that we requested and kept everyone having fun on the dance floor! We highly recommend him!

Our dj was very nice and did a good job for the most part. Reasonably priced. I just wish the music was louder. The guest had a hard time hearing the music during ceremony and when we got introduced at reception.

We booked Bellagala for our DJ service for our wedding, and they performed wonderfully! We were assigned Jonathan S. as our DJ, and he was one of the best parts of the day - he read all our notes left in the online profile, and reached out to us to confirm any details where there was uncertainty (there were two versions of one song we chose, and he made sure he picked the version we wanted).

Throughout the night, Jonathan stuck with our schedule, but he was very flexible when we had to add a slight delay or deal with other matters. He seemed to have the incredible ability to be everywhere at once - when we had a song request, he was right at our shoulder, and would then immediately be back at his booth to play it! He also made sure to handle guest requests politely, while not veering too far off from our own musical preferences as the bride and groom. If a song wasn't to our liking, it just took a simple catch of his eye and thumbs down, and he instantly knew what we wanted.

Our package only gave us the DJ's specific contact info for the last week, but with the online profile that we completed earlier, we felt in full control, and the wedding music turned out perfectly. We fully recommend this vendor!

Our photographer was Meagan Wanschura. She did an amazing job capturing all the details of our special day. We cannot recommend her enough!

Loved working with Bellagala. Samantha was wonderful in helping us find our videographer, Dan. Dan did an amazing job with our wedding video, and we could not be happier!

We hired Bellagala for our wedding reception held at Cedarhurst Mansion in Cottage Grove. Our DJ was Jonathan S. and he was wonderful! He was pleasant to talk to, and extremely professional. He made our wedding reception a blast! I would book him again in a heartbeat!

Andy Murphy was great. He played a great mix of music from what we had selected along with some other good songs to get the night started. He was very professional and conscientious and I know all our guests had a lot of fun. There were other issues we dealt with that day, but it was great that the music wasn't one of them.

What a professional and talented DJ we had! He could not have been more spot on. He was so flexible, easy to reach and even gave me his personal number so I could send him last minute updates. He also played guitar a little during dinner which was very impressive.. I believe I got far more than what we paid.

Bellagala was great to work with. I loved having the convenience of our DJ and photographer being booked through the same company.

Jessica R was our wedding photographer at The Van Dusen Mansion on 05/13/2018. She did a great job. She had infinite patience with the shenanigans that was our wedding celebration.

Justin M was our DJ for the evening. He was amazing. We received so many compliments on the music for the whole evening. He really went out of his way to make sure that everything was running smoothly and that everyone was happy.

I would recommend Bellagala, especially Jessica and Justin, to anyone getting married in the cities.

Chase Bruns was awesome and he's up-to-date on music selection and knowledge, plus he had great energy!

Megan Gregory was my wedding photographer and she did an awesome job. We were running a bit behind schedule but she was very flexible and knew which photos were priorities to be taken first. There was a lot going on that day and it passed in the blink of an eye so I was very grateful to have such a professional photographer like Megan who knew what she was doing. She captured our day perfectly and I absolutely love my photos! I will cherish them forever.

Our DJ Mike Hongslo was great to work with for our October wedding. He was easy to work with and very accommodating especially with a very specific like myself. I would recommend his services along with Bellagala as a whole. They were a great company to work with to create the best wedding day we could have imagined.

Andrew P and Andrea were an awesome pair to have photograph our wedding. While we haven't seen our photos yet, I can report that they were flexible, caring, receptive to feedback and suggestions, and helped our day run incredibly smooth. We had a shorter time frame for photos with some traveling involved, and they worked to accommodate our requests to make our day easy for us. Our only regret is that we didn't book more time with them! From the samples that Andrew showed us on his camera that day, we are confident that the shots will be unique and beautiful, too. Our DJ, Ted Whelan, was amazing! He took a lot of the burden of organizing off us (which was great), but was very responsive to the things we had opinions on. He kept the reception moving and we didn't have to worry about when it was time for toasts, etc. We left most of the song selection to him, which I highly recommend. He started out with classics for all ages, which got our parents and older relatives on the dance floor, then transitioned to higher energy but still familiar songs. Toward the end of the night he played a lot of 90s, which kept about 50 of our friends on the dance floor until the end of the last song.

We had the pleasure of having Jonathon as our DJ at our wedding! We had first heard of Jonathon at our friends wedding the year before ours. When we were at our friends wedding, we were impressed with his enthusiasm and the music he was playing...so of course, we had to go meet him and let him know we were getting married and were interested in having him as our DJ :) Jonathon had called us the week of the wedding to ensure that everything we had listed in the questionnaire was accurate as he didn't want to miss any important details (very professional, yet easy to communicate with). The day of our wedding, Jonathon NAILED IT and exceeded our expectations! He brought great energy to the dance floor and would check in with us to see if the music he was playing was still appropriate and if we had any requests throughout the night besides what we had emailed him. We were so thankful for everything he did to make our day extra special! So many people complimented us on how amazing our DJ was with the music and how he played great tunes for everyone to dance to! Thank you again, Jonathon, for EVERYTHING you did! Heather Feather was our florist and her arrangements perfectly captured my personality and were beautiful to look at! I know very little about flowers and Heather not only was so easy to work with and talk to, but she was able to take the colors I had in my head and come up with a wide variety of options. The flowers complemented the bridesmaid dresses so well that everything looked like a fairy tale. I told her I wanted to keep the flower cost fairly low as well and she made sure to pick exquisite flowers in an affordable price range. My dress was ivory with a burgundy jeweled sash, and Heather even added the same details on the ribbon of my bouquet! I could not have been happier with our flowers! Highly recommend her service!

My husband Gabriel and I got married Oct 13th 2017 at the Profile Event Center! We had Andrew Parfenov as our photographer. He was absolutely AMAZING! He was so sweet and kept us on schedule! He would direct us (hurriedly but kindly) in order for us to get as many beautiful pictures as possible! He was patient with us as we were alittle unorganized but it all turned out absolutely beautiful! He is very genuine and I wish I could give him 10 stars!! haha I highly reccomend him for anyone's big day!! Thanks Andrew!!!

Kiera G. was our DJ and we were very happy with her! She did an excellent job. She made the day run smoothly so we could relax and enjoy it. She played the music that we requested and chose songs that kept our guests dancing. She made sure that people were where they needed to be, coordinated speeches and even took charge of our slideshow as a last minute request. We will definitely recommend Kiera and Bellagala to our friends who are getting married soon. We have only great things to say about our experience.

There are not enough words to describe how happy I am with Anthony! Going through the portfolio's, I knew he was the one that I wanted immediately, but there is always that nervousness of how the person is actually going to be on your wedding day. Our wedding had been rescheduled twice due to COVID, and each time Anthony was very supportive and understanding. He reached out multiple times prior to the wedding to talk about different shots that I wanted and the style of photos that my husband and I were looking for. We did wind up having our ceremony at home during quarantine, so Anthony only worked with us for our reception and got my husband and I, as well of the rest of our bridal party in complete party mode... he handled us so well! As soon as he came into our suite, he introduced himself and explained some of the shots he would be taking. He made everyone feel comfortable and was great with talking me through those awkward individual bride photos! Throughout the day, Anthony was so much fun and vocal with the group. He made everyone smile and laugh, which should make for some great photos (I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE!). He even let me preview some shots on the day of the wedding to make sure that I was happy with the way that they were turning out. I am so happy with our choice and would choose him over and over if I had the chance.

The photographers and videographers they contract out to are great from my experience, but the office staff and general company are beyond horrible. The standard experience is that they will give you a DVD of the video. Yes, DVD. DVD is essentially an obsolete technology, yet they want $500 extra if you want your video in HD. Which, obviously you do. Essentially, they hold all your wedding memories hostage for $500 after you've already paid them an extreme amount of money. Jenna in particular was a nightmare to deal with. I suggest you figure out who they contract out to, and work with those folks directly. Unless, of course, you like being held hostage, ignored, and disrespected (in which case, request Jenna Ernst!!!)

Jonathon was strategic, receptive, kind and fun. He was able to help us navigate a few time crunches that night and he was also able to make our wedding fun for both the bride and groom's guests AND also the guests of the groom's parents (as this was a 50th wedding anniversary and a wedding combined!). I would highly recommend him!

We can't say enough about how exceptional DJ Tom was at our wedding. He was super good at getting the crowd on the dance floor and making everyone's night. He was polite, nice, energetic, attentive, fun, and always checked in with us. My husband and I recommend Bellagala and DJ Tom to everyone we know that's planning weddings.

We went with the photographer and DJ package, and while I am super happy with my photos and photographers the DJ and management totally failed me.
They matched me with a DJ that didnt fit our music style at all, he clearly didn't read all the info we filled out and only took what he wanted away from the hour conversation we had (most of which could have been avoided if he read what we filled out) the ceremony was bad, and although we talked several times about what I wanted it ended up horrible. The music throughout reception may have please a few, but myself and friends pretty much just stared at the dance floor as the 70s music played. Not sure how we got matched with this DJ or why management hasn't been very communicative.

Kristin was our main photographer and she was a true joy to work with. She was professional, but fun, we d yet to meet in person until the day of, and she still made us feel at ease. She kept the day going, but with grace. Even when our second photographer didn t show up (the only downfall with Bellagala, which I am hoping will be resolved this week) she didn t have me feeling anxious. I would HIGHLY recommend Kristin and look forward to seeing her work....additional comments to follow once received.

Derek was FANTASTIC!!! I wish I could give him more than 5 stars! He kept the dance floor full all night long! He was professional and so easy to work with! THANK YOU DEREK!!!!

Bella Gala was affordable and easy to work with! I had 7 hours of coverage for half the price of what I was quoted by other photographers. I had Sara and she was AMAZING! We seriously can't say enough good things about her. I would highly recommend for your wedding!!

Our photographer Meagan W. was FANTASTIC! So easy to work with, so talented and 10/10. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! Highly recommend Bellagala for any of your wedding needs!

Andrew Parfenov was our wedding photographer and I cannot even describe how amazing he was throughout our whole wedding experience. He is very thoughtful and smart when it comes to capturing the best moments and the best lighting. He captured all the important moments of our wedding and i cannot wait to see how the pictures turn out. He was on time which is really important to me and he had great ideas on where we should take pictures and what poses to make. Andrew also did my engagement pictures which turned out so beautiful. I high recommend working with him. Thanks Andrew for making our wedding special and capturing all the best moments

We used Meg G as our photographer for our Indianapolis wedding. Meg and the customer service team at Bellagala were easy to work with and responded quickly to our emails during the planning process. Our wedding photos turned out great! Meg was flexible and accommodating the day of our wedding and captured so many wonderful shots. We were impressed by Bellagala's quick turn around time and reasonable prices.

We had Derek C. as our DJ for our wedding from Bellagala. Derek was AMAZING. He knew how to read the crowd, and kept the dance floor moving and grooving even after our midnight curfew with our venue. He was flexible when it came to our schedule getting off track thanks to my dad going over his speech time :), and kept the music fun and upbeat all night long. I know everyone had a great time, and that's got a big part to do with the DJ, aka Derek, who kept the crowd entertained. I highly recommend Bellagala for your wedding DJ needs and I also would choose Derek again for any event we may need a DJ for if we ever needed one again. Again, that's Derek C. from Bellagala!

Beware! I would never trust Bellagalla again. We used their photobooth service for our reception and it was a completely disappointing experience! Half way through our reception, the printer ran out of ink! The whole reason I paid the extra $300 was so that the pictures would print on the spot and our guests could take them home. We had 156 guests who flew all over the United States and even as far as China and Israel to be with us on our wedding day. Not only did the printer stop working, the photobooth person didn t even communicate this with me. I had to find out a few days later by one of my friends-I was so embarrassed and disappointed to learn this news. I would of had my personal assistant run to target to get more ink (this would of been an easy fix considering we were downtown and Target was three blocks away!!!) When I contacted Bellagalla they acted like it was no big deal - that I would still get the digital copies. I was so angry and annoyed at their response acting like it wasn t a big deal and almost as if I was overreacting. The whole reason I got a photobooth was so that my guests could take home pictures-and they couldn t because of YOUR ERROR! They said that they would send me all of the pictures via mail so that I could send them to my guests. I ve already planned an entire wedding and written 150 thank you cards - sure let me just make all new letters with pictures for my guests! I shouldn t have to do all of that work. Oh and they said they would refund me the printing fee by sending me a check in the mail. That never happened. BRIDES- don t use Bellagalla! And if you do - bring your own printer and ink because you can t rely on them at ALL!

Maryalice was our photographer and all I can say is WOW! She was phenomenal! She was easy to work with and kept us laughing throughout the photos. Even before the wedding she was great with communicating and kept us updated on the shots she was hoping to get and which ones we wanted. We've never felt so at ease with someone we just met as we did with Maryalice. The shots were incredible. If she's available for your event I HIGHLY recommend her.

Working with Bellagala was easy. With Jon we got to pick the DJ we wanted. Working with Jon was easy and fun. The only thing that hurt, were our legs the next morning from all the dancing. We do recommend Bellagala, and would work with them again in future.

Our Bellagala photographer, Verna Pitts, was top notch! Her professionalism and decades of experience were apparent from the very beginning at our engagement session and carried through our wedding and reception. Her friendly and fun personality put everyone at ease and made it easy to have a good time. She did an excellent job providing direction and keeping everyone on schedule to make the most of her time.

Jamie did an excellent job designing our floral arrangements for our wedding! We met two times before the wedding: once to show her our color scheme and inspiration and once to finalize all of our choices. She created a floral mood board for us to give us an idea of what colors and flowers would be included. She was also very helpful when it came to pricing and what was possible. She worked to give us what we wanted while staying within our budget.

On the day of the wedding, I brought the cuff of my mom s wedding dress to wrap around the bouquet and Jamie helped me by putting it all together while I was having my hair done. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and corsage was absolutely stunning. She brought our vision to life. If you are able, absolutely book Jamie as your florist.

Justin was awesome at curating the vibe of the evening, and all of our guests had an awesome time during the dance! He was prompt at responding to our questions before the wedding and went above and beyond to accommodate us as we personalized some of the ceremony music.

Unfortunately, we did have a few difficulties on the day of the wedding. Before the wedding, we discussed the pronunciation of the names of the wedding party and he wrote some down phonetically. When it came time for the grand march, he mispronounced a few of those names. He also seemed to have issues starting the music on time and at the right volume in the Van Dusen Mansion ballroom because the equipment is farther back in the hallway.

We also created a video to play during the first dance. We brought the computer and HDMI cable for it but were told during dinner that the projector in the carriage house couldn t play it. We were told this while eating our entrees at dinner. We wish the video would have been tested in the morning rather than coming up with a backup plan at dinner while also trying to entertain our guests. Luckily, the Van Dusen Mansion s Venue Director, Christy, fixed the issue before the dance.

Once we actually got into the dance portion of the evening, Justin did an amazing job! Our guests loved the music selection, and he responded to any requests within our limits.

Overall, our experience with Bellagala was pretty good. It was nice to have packages we could choose that met what we wanted at a reasonable price and definitely made planning much easier. Looking back we may have done a couple of things differently, but overall we were happy with the services.
Hands down the best of our artists was our photographer John L. He has an eye for details and a vision for pictures like no other. You can tell that he loves photography He truly made our day great and was helpful outside of picture taking too, which was greatly appreciated. His second shooter, Alan, was also fantastic. We cannot wait to see what the two of them achieved together. They seemed like a great team and we are so glad that we ended up choosing John as our photographer. Our florist was Heather F. She also did a great job, we gave her a lot of freedom - basically just our colors and a general idea of what we were looking for in bouquets and boutonnieres, and her work was awesome! I just wish my flowers would have lasted longer!
We probably would have chosen a more traditional photo booth instead of the photo booth with an attendant. We think the attendant may have thrown some people off of wanting to use it. And the props weren't the best.

Absolutely awful! My wedding photos are terrible. What an important thing to get right, and I m left with nothing. We had a meeting with our photographer weeks before our big day, filled out a profile, and sent in a shot list. All of these things were ignored on the day of my wedding as well as in my album. I don t have a single shot with just me and my mom, except when she just arrived and had no make up on and was still in casual clothing. I have 17 pictures of her hands zipping up my dress. I have 20 photos of the food and people s hands grabbing it. And I have 5, yes 5, pictures of my guests dancing. So many blurry pictures, so many with peoples eyes closed. I have better photos from my guests phones. How incredibly disappointing! Now, over 9 weeks later, I have no response from Bellagala regarding my disappointment. Do not recommend.

We got married over Labor Day weekend and Brent F. was our DJ. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, the dance floor was packed the whole night and Brent did a great job of reading the crowd to make sure they were enjoying the songs. He also took plenty of song requests which my guests really appreciated. I met with Brent several times before the wedding to discuss the music and he was always very easy to get in touch with, plus he asked a lot of good questions to make sure he fully understood the vibe we were going for. He also had a lot of song suggestions from other weddings which was helpful. Our friends and family still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding, and that was all made possible by Brent! I would highly recommend using him for your wedding, you won't be disappointed.

I worked with Tom K as the DJ in March 2017- he did an amazing job! I would definitely refer others to use him in the future!! He listened to everything we wanted :)

We booked Nicole Lewis as our day of coordinator through Bellagala and she was beyond perfect! Through out the planning process she went above and beyond by answering many questions we had, providing her professional input and recommendations. The entire wedding weekend we were at ease knowing Nicole would make the day flawless for us. She kept everyone on schedule from the vendors to the wedding party. She made our dream wedding come to life. She is so sweet and truly cares about her couples, it shows throughout the planning process and on the big day. Booking a day of coordinator was the best decision we made throughout the planning process and I would recommend Nicole to anyone considering a wedding coordinator!

Our DJ, Steve Ly, was absolutely incredible!! We could not have asked for a better person to guide the night, fill the dance floor, and keep the energy high. Our friends and family danced until the very end, without a single "lull" in the night; Steve knew how to play the right songs for the moment, read the crowd, and provide our dream reception experience. He was personable, professional, and energetic from the first meeting before the wedding, to the final song at the end of the night. We can't thank Steve (and Bellagala) enough for their work in providing such a memorable night!

We got married on 10/6/17, we booked photographers, florist, and a DJ through Bellagala. The company, photographers, and the florist are all "5 stars" to work with and we were very pleased. We are giving two stars however, for our DJ Logan H. He was inexperienced to say the least. Logan messed up all of our "big moment" songs (like playing our recessional song while we were already half way down the aisle when he was supposed to start it during our kiss). It seemed like he didn't follow through with anything (other than the first dance) from what we had agreed on our final phone call. He only had a handful of songs we had on our playlist, played songs we specifically asked not to be played, came off a little arrogant when guests requested songs that he "didn't have" (but should have), also Logan did not play our grand entrance song loud enough and did not listen when a bridesmaid walked past him telling him to turn it up. We had a pair enter the reception to no music because Logan kept stopping the song to announce each pair and then took long to play it up again... Our guests went with the flow, had a great time dancing, but overall we were very disappointed in our DJ's abilities. He was not worth the $700 we paid.

Samuel Johnson was a great DJ!! I am so glad that we ended up going with Bellagala and that we ended up with Sam. He was very organized, very competent, had all of his bases covered. I felt completely secure going into my wedding day knowing that he had everything handled. I highly recommend him!!

Our DJ Chris did an amazing job at our wedding! He spent the time to get to know us, our wedding party, and our family before the event. He very smoothly transitioned from the ceremony to the reception. He knew how to read the crowd and kept everyone dancing all night. Most people assumed he was a friend as he was so polite and friendly throughout the day.

Great job Chris and I would highly recommend other couples to you!

Bellagala's one and only Megan Gregory has been a joy to work with from Day 1. She is prompt and helpful in her communication, is always professional, and is extraordinarily personable. It was so easy to connect with her during our Engagement Session, which was truly the most fun we've had in months. Our engagement and wedding photos were more touching than I could have ever imagined, as she seamlessly matched her stylistic approach to our personality and style preferences. Meg truly has a knack for creativity--some of the more interesting and unconventional shots she conjured almost always turned out to be our favorite photos. We are so grateful for her work and are blessed she could be apart of our day!

Bellagala was a great option for a wedding photographer. We had Lisa as a photographer. Lisa made our day fun and she also took stellar pictures! I just had some issues getting a hold of Lisa or Bellagala time to time but they followe through and I am very sanctified with the photos! I would recommend Lisa if you want a photographer who will make your day fun and relaxed!

I thought our DJ was going to be amazing for how much money we paid them, but the ceremony people had a hard time hearing the music, he did not play a lot of requested songs and he cut our dollar dance real shot!

Having great music was a priority for our Wedding. I was a Nightclub and Concert promoter, and Club DJ for many years; consequently, I had feelings of ambivalence about hiring a DJ that I didn t know, and who I had never heard spin. We hired Jonathon Shields of BellaGala and hoped for the best as they highly recommended him. I m happy to say that not only weren t we disappointed, but that he exceeded our hopes and expectations. He was extremely professional in evey way: he worked well with the other vendors, played all of our music, accommodated requests, and made helpful suggestions. Jonathon is very knowledgeable about how an event should unfold and helped us to stay on schedule. I would hire him for other special events and will recommend him to friends and family.

Bellagala has been a God-send for me and my family. My wedding was yesterday, and their photographers were phenomenal! They went above and beyond my expectations. They really made me feel more confident and secure during one of the most stressful, busy and wonderful days of my life. I had my mind set on a Winter Wonderland and they were able to help me to realize that. They also helped me plan and we worked very closely to make it happen. We kept close contact throughout, they were very attentive to my needs and our vision. They always responded to me in a timely fashion and contacted me when they anticipated that we may have forgotten or overlooked something. Bellagala s advice was invaluable. They helped to make a beautiful idea into a reality and for that, I am so thankful. I couldn t have asked for a more organized and comprehensive wedding business partner.

My Husband and I used Bellagala's DJ services and I can honestly say he ruined our entire reception. I can't even begin to list off everything that he did wrong, from saying the wrong names during the grand march after I told him 3 times and wrote them down for him, to making my BRIDESMAID DO THE GARTER AND BOUQUET TOSS, to not playing a single song by husband and I requested, the list goes on from there. It was awful and when I tried to contact Bellagala to talk about the issue because we payed a lot of money for a DJ that did literally NOTHING, all they said was thanks for the feedback. Unbelievable! This is by far the worst company to get a DJ through, I hope you read this and take your money elsewhere.

Andrew was absolutely wonderful to work with and was so professional and flexible in helping us capture our wedding day! He was able to do more than we could have ever expected and was so great at finding opportunities to get some great shots! I would absolutely recommend Bellagala, and especially Andrew!

We hired Bellagala for both our photography and DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Definitely go with Andrew Parfenov for photography! He was a wonderful photographer, always getting the shots he was looking for without being intrusive. He was also great with the young kids we had! I can't recommend him enough. Our DJ wasn't nearly as great as Andrew, but the customer service the managers for our DJ had was great.

Derek Curley was our dj for the wedding and did he ever go above and beyond to make sure everything went right. He was professional and extremely fun! More people were on the dance floor then sitting. He played all the songs we wanted and requests. I d say if your looking for a energetic and enthusiastic DJ look no further and book Derek.

We LOVED Bellagala- the quality, the prices and most importantly- the PEOPLE :) Sarah and David were our photographers and Derek was our DJ. SO thankful they were a part of our day. Sarah and David were such a great team and got along great with anyone they were shooting/chatting with. Derek made all the magic happen as our DJ! We were doing a lot of last minute changes and he was super cool with it and well prepared. We even walked out to Dr. Dre(cause Diggity rhymes with my new last name- Briggity!). Best decision besides saying yes to my groom was choosing Bellagala! Highest of recommendations!

Our Bellagala DJ package was a great value, very glad we went with Bellagala. We were extremely happy with his services! Our DJ was very easy to work with; and accommodated our requests perfectly. Played the songs we requested and kept the party going. I don't think during any songs that the dance floor wasn't packed. Kim V. was our wedding photographer and she was absolutely fabulous. She worked well with our large group, everything was organized, and she got every shot I had on my wish list. The photographs turned out even better than I imagined. Something my husband and I will cherish forever. She was so great both my brother and sister will be using her for their weddings this summer. We HIGHLY recommend Kim! She is the full package! Thank you Kim!

Our photographer, Joel, was amazing! He was so fun to work with. The few pictures we have seen look amazing, can't wait to get all our wedding pictures back!! We also took our engagement pictures with Joel, those turned out fantastic as well! We were lucky to book our photography during one of their special promotion prices - great deal!

Planning a wedding can definitely be overwhelming. I stumbled across Bellagala and they made things so much easier for me. They gave me the opportunity to book the photographer, the videographer and the DJ all in one spot. The sample photos and videos helped us narrow down what we were looking for. I ultimately chose Anita Thyne to take our photos and Travis Monroe to create our video. They both were so great to work with. Anita had us come into her studio to gather information from us so that she could understand the vision we were looking for. I spoke to Travis on the phone and he understood immediately what we were going for. I was a little concerned at first with the DJ because we didn't know who was going to DJ our wedding until a few days before, but it worked out! Each professional we chose at Bellagala fully listened to what we wanted to truly delivered for us on our wedding day. We cannot wait to see our photos and our video so we can relive every moment! We had a fun little adventure right after the ceremony to take some pictures on the ice so by husband could get a hockey picture. We had Travis tag along and he was so excited to be able to be there for us in that moment. He did not complain about having to make an extra stop and that truly helped to make our day.

Overall, I highly recommend Bellagala and the services they provide. The Bellagala representatives were all very responsive and answered all my questions along the way. Truly a great company and I am glad I went through them for our big day!

Meg G was our photographer and she and her second shooter did an awesome job of capturing our day! Not only did she do an amazing job with our engagement photo session, but when we got the pictures back withing 4 weeks of the big day, there wasn't a single one I didn't like! The hardest part is selecting which ones I want printed and framed! Thank you Meg and Bellagala for the amazing job!

*Warning! If you have a large venue or a multi-level venue make sure your DJ knows to use the vendors microphone when making annoucements. We had our reception on a riverboat from Stillwater Riverboats and everything was amazing, except for the DJ services. When booking I knew we had 4 levels and I wanted to make sure the DJ was aware of this and that they would be able to make annoucements that the whole boat would hear. I was told that yes that had done receptions on the boat before and they knew to use the vendor microphone. Well, flashforward to our reception and our DJ not only didn't use the vendor microphone but chose not to use it because "it wasn't as good of quality as hers" which meant that unless you were within 20 feet of the dance floor you had no idea when the first dance, garter toss, etc. were happening. My own mother ended up missing our first dance and father-daughter dance because the DJ refused to use the vendor microphone. My photographer and the manager on the boat even approached her and asked her to use it and still she did not. It was incredibly disappointing espessially since the reviews and ratings for Bellagala were so high and then to have a staff memeber that didn't live up to this was disheartening. We were told point blank that yes everyone would hear annoucements and she failed that make that happen. On top of all of this she was looking through our emails to find which songs we wanted played and had my now husband review songs before the mother-son dance because she was unsure of what song needed to be played even though we had sent the information earlier that week. Incredibly disappointing for such a highly reputable company. We were given a partial refund but it doesn't make up for my mother missing out on some amazing wedding moments. I would not recomend the company but if you do decide to go with them make sure they understand that they vendor microphone needs to be used.

Bellagala Videography:

We were lucky enough to have Michael Zvonar and his wife Becky as videographers during our wedding. Prior to the wedding they set up a meeting to see what we liked/disliked about wedding videos we have seen and we really enjoyed meeting with them. They were super fun to hang out with the day of the wedding and made us feel really comfortable the entire day. To the quality of the videos they are truly amazing and the video short the Michael puts together was our favorite thing to remember the big day. We have watched the 8min video short maybe 30 times in the 5 weeks since we got it and all of our friends and family love it. Michael does an excellent job setting the video to music and putting in thoughtful clips of video throughout the day. We definitely highly recommend Michael and Becky. Michael has a uniquely artistic touch to his videos and I would encourage watching some of his video shorts if you are on the fence about getting a videographer for your wedding.

Ted was our DJ and we couldn't have asked for better! He was on top of every detail and made it an easy and enjoyable process! Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their special event!

This is an absolute horrible company. They promised me a photographer for my wedding coming up in September of 2017 and when I placed the down payment they then told me that photographer was not available. After confirming the photographer about 8 times, before I actually booked it they completely lied to me. I am beyond upset about this experience. I was excited at first, because I finally had a photographer that was in my budget, but then all the sudden said they couldn't do it. They wouldn't work with me to fix it and never apologized for it. I would recommend never going with them if you're looking for wedding photos in the future.

We worked with Bellagala s Derek C. as the DJ for our reception. Very professional, was able to work with our schedule, and kept the whole experience stress free. Great DJ and person, would highly recommend him to anyone for their event!

My wife and I used Bellagala for our wedding last November and we couldn't have been more pleased. The price was very reasonable compared to many other videographers that we considered and for a minor travel fee they even came down to Rochester. The professionalism that the Zvonars displayed all day was second to none. And the end product is something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

We got married in June and Mike H. was our DJ. He did an amazing job, was always incredibly responsive and there for us in anything we needed from him. He added the best special touch to our cocktail hour by singing for us and playing his guitar the entire time. I couldn't recommend Mike more for your own special day!!

Yes, wedding photography is always going to be a bit pricey, but Bellagala was still very reasonable, and all the employees I spoke to/worked with for my wedding really made it feel like our wedding was the most important thing. She was professional, awesome at what she does, kind and funny. We were laughing all day!! Our timeline was always ahead or on time for the days schedule. Which gave us time to get all the poses I wanted, plus great ones that she suggested!! Overall, if u want a fantastic photographer for your big day or even a smaller event, choose Jessica ramaker!!

We got our Photographer and DJ from this service and they were both amazing and went above and beyond! We cannot wait to see our wedding photos! Our DJ got our party started and even danced with us with his signature move "The Worm"! We loved every moment and they definitely were easy to work with!

Couldn't recommend the videographer enough. The staff was great. The video brought my wife to tears. Great quality and very well put together.

Derek was our DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago, and he was AWESOME. He was outgoing, attentive to our needs, had a real feel for what the crowd wanted to hear/we wanted to hear. He even helped my MOH out during her speech with some music she requested last minute. I highly recommend choosing Derek as your DJ, you won't regret it!

Jonathon S. was the best DJ we could have asked for at our wedding. He stuck with our music plan but was also able to adjust and change things as the night progressed. He ensured everyone had so much fun dancing and we did!! I seriously didn't leave the dance stage until the venue kicked us out. Thank you for making our day so much fun!

The Dj and photographer we booked were amazing.
The support we received from bellagala after we paid them in full was terrible.
They only host pictures on 1 website which runs an outdated and dangerous program. I feel a reputable company like bellagala would certainly be up to date on cyber security in this day and age, understanding the implications of asking their customers to download such horrendous programs in order to receive the pictures they already paid for.
Their only option was to send me a jump drive with the pictures which would require me to pay sales tax on my entire photography package.
I even offered to drive to their head quarters to download the pictures from their computer's myself. I was instantly denied. Makes me wish I would have never used a card to pay for the services. Just knowing all of my information is stored in their poorly protected computers makes my blood boil.
Needless to say at this time I can not in good conscious recommended this company to anyone.

We used Meagan W. for our photographer for our engagement photos, and our June 9 wedding. Meagan was absolutely fantastic!! We highly recommend her to anyone! She took control over everyone and made sure to get us all organized during the formal pictures. She had a list of shots that I wanted, printed out and brought with her, and crossed them out as we went to make sure I got what I had wanted. She sent us a sneak peek of both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and we are SO happy with them! Before our wedding, Meagan was so easy to get in contact with - she always responded to my emails promptly!

Additionally, Meagan was great in telling us what poses to do, and really making us comfortable and putting us at ease. We would use Meagan for any photographic needs in the future, as she was wonderful to work with, and did wonderful work. We really felt that she was accommodating, professional, and made sure to make us happy.

Before leaving, Meagan asked my husband and I, as well as my parents, if there were any other pictures we wanted - this was something I truly appreciated!
