Our DJ, Ted Whelan, was amazing! He took a lot of the burden of organizing off us (which was great), but was very responsive to the things we had opinions on. He kept the reception moving and we didn't have to worry about when it was time for toasts, etc. We left most of the song selection to him, which I highly recommend. He started out with classics for all ages, which got our parents and older relatives on the dance floor, then transitioned to higher energy but still familiar songs. Toward the end of the night he played a lot of 90s, which kept about 50 of our friends on the dance floor until the end of the last song.
