Traveling with twins under 2. Did not feel welcome. Wasnt told about other amenities like the outdoor activities until we stumbled upon them 2 days later. There were 6 of us in the suite, only given 4 bath towels per day and only one the day before check out. Staff was intermittently snooty or friendly, depended on the day. Beautiful place but will not be going back. Talked to a shop owner in nearby Easton and he said the area had definitely changed in the past 15 years and not for the better. It's a pity since we drove 9 hours specifically to stay at this resort.

Love the nature and all the outdoors activities, however I giving only 4 starts because our checking was at 4pm we couldn't check in for almost an hour after and on top they give us a room that was still occupied by others guests, we have to go back down to the desk for another 15 minutes for the msnager to figure out the problem and give us another suite, also another downside was too many children unattended by their parents on the pool areas, disregarding signs "no children under 16 without parents "... after that i still giving 4 stars because of the clean environment and the Spa is a 5 stars "Inelda" was great. Had a good time overall

Very very clean resort and that is coming from a germaphobe! I didn't leave feeling like I stayed at a hotel. I was very impressed! Staff was warm and helpful. Restaurant was great, pools were nice and everyone was eager to help! The nice maintenance man that was checking the pool chemicals in the evening was great too. I asked a question about something and he gave us some helpful insight on times to come and talked about how much he enjoyed working there. When people who work at a place and smile when they talk about it then you know they work at a great place. That really showed me it's a great place!!

Ate at the grille restaurant. Prices were high and food was OK. Started with wings for appetizer. They use a lot of butter in the Buffalo sauce. Main entrees we're kept under a great lamp for a while. Waitress was great! Hostess were not enthusiastic or inviting.

Excellent place to spend some quality family time. Staff is really knowledgeable and they take their time to provide the right equipment for any skill level which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. Personally, the food at the eatery is not good ( buffalo chicken pizza with red sauce is not very appetizing) and the grille restaurant does not serve food for a few hours in the afternoon. On weekends, lines can get really long and time consuming for rentals and tickets. So be prepared with time on hand. Slopes and equipment very well maintained. Overall fun place to go.

Overall our stay this past week (July 28-Aug 1) was pleasant. The first day the pool was crowded there were no chairs available. But during the week the pools were pretty empty. Check in definitely could have been better ... the attendants at the door, 3 younger guys, didnt greet us. The front desk guy seemed unhappy and unfriendly. So the start of our day there was not as good as it could have been. Then when we went to the pool, an older, hefty man came out to check for wristbands (which the front desk guy told us we didnt have to have on just have with us). The man rudely said to me "you dont have a wristband" then asked for my last name and room number never said thank you. Then I watched as he went up to other guests, rudely, and of course everyone was a guest. He should be trained to say "Excuse me, sorry to bother you, I'm doing a guest check may I please have your name and room number? Thank you." It was really unclassy and uncalled for the way he accosted guests instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were in fact a guest. Management should definitely address this if they want to be considered an upscale resort. The pools were well maintained, the entire hotel was clean. Our experience at both on site resturaunts with those employees was thankfully much better. The food was prepared well at both places. The bartender at the pool bar was not friendly. However in contrast, the blonde bartender with glasses that we saw every night at The Grille Resturaunt was extremely friendly and polite (and her martinis were amazing). She made up for the grumpy one at the pool. The people working at both resturaunts were smiley and happy. Not sure why the front desk staff and pool guy were so different. Being the first point of contact the staff should really be trained to greet in a happy, friendly manner. It would make such a difference! The grounds were beautiful. The housekeeping staff was excellent!! They were friendly and did such a great job with our room, even put our daughters stuffed animals on the bed after they made it which delighted our girls. I would definitely return to this resort based on the friendly staff that I did encounter, the room, the cleanliness, the quiet environment, and jacuzzi tub in our room. I also enjoyed getting to watch a wedding from our hotel room window. Overall it was a good experience ... if they could just train some of the unfriendly staff more it would make a huge difference because the rest of the staff was wonderful.

Went snow tubing from 7-9 pm. It was fun except they were making snow and it was blowing all over the place which made the 15 degree weather pretty unbearable. Also, my 6 year old didn't enjoy going down the hill alone, and with no double riders he pretty much ended up watching the whole time. We stayed an hour and a half before we were frozen. Wish they would somehow accommodate younger kids to be able to ride with parents, or make a "kiddie hill" that would be shorter and less intense for the kids who are too scared of the big hill.

What a lively place to visit. Wedding food was very good however, the chicken had a bit too much poultry seasoning for my tongue. It was also the first time I had gravy with mushrooms w the stuffed chicken and the first time it came mixed, white n dark meat. Potatoes were hot and very flavorful. Great parking n a bit of a drive but still ok. Plenty of dance floor n beautiful all around. Handicap parking n inside elevator to the 2nd floor. Wait staff was fabulous n very professional.
We enjoyed the venue n of course the were happy to have been invited by our loving friends.

I've come here 2 years in a row for a company retreat and have had a great time during each stay. Rooms are great with plenty to do, although I think it would be better to come during the winter as it's primarily a ski resort.

Great place for families and beginning skiers! We came mid week and it was not crowded. The hotel was super nice with an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Great place for a family ski getaway close to home.

we took a vacation day and headed up to ski, I havent skied there in over 30 years. I have to say it was a great experience and a BIG pat on the back of all the staff we encountered. The staff were all friendly and nice.
The terrain was groomed nice! we usualy ski in Vermont and Maine. I have to say the trails were great.
We will be back, hope the temps don't end the season early, so close to home. Thanks for a memorable vacation day,

Attended a wedding at Bear Creek and stayed in a standard queen room overlooking the ski trails. Room was very nice with a balcony. I was impressed with facility and amenities. Food was excellent and all staff members were very polite and helpful.

My husband and I had our wedding at Bear Creek, and it was truly magical. Our wedding coordinator was Lisa, and she went above and beyond for us. Between Lisa, the reservation staff, and the waiters and bartenders, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. The venue takes care of gathering all of your belongings and flowers and stores them away for you to pick up the next morning. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was to have our wedding at Bear Creek. We are hoping to go back for our anniversary :)

First time coming to this resort and it was awesome for what it was. I'm sure its a lot more fun in the winter time, but I gotta say I enjoyed the calm and fresh air with my family. Granted we stay 2 nights, but it was very nice. The only thing I will say is be careful with your kids ( 2 to 5 year olds) because I had an encounter with a weird lady that made contact with my child and it was very disturbing. The fact that she went as far as to tell me her room number while my wife stood next to me, and she had a male in her passenger side is very uncomfortable. I'm not deducting it from the resort because its not their fault...it happens. Anyways, just thought I should mention it. Also we came across a snake by the pond, so watch your step when you use the paddle boats. Overall, great stay and will most likely come back...in winter ofcourse.

Late October visit. Plenty of walking trails. Small swimming pool and jaccuzzi. Room was clean with good view. Breakfast was great with good views. Dinner very good. Had Octoberfest specials. Sure the skiing is good for beginners and moderate skiers. Beautiful scenery. We had a beautiful drive home on a sunny day.

Bear creek was an amazing get away with great terrain good location for families and friends of all ages and skill levels. Its a fun safe environment with many amenities onsite as well as ample parking available at the resort. The lift attendants were very observant and cautious of rider safety and kind hearted individuals enthusiastic about there job. The staff within the hospitality and rental equipment center were phenomenal and hooked everything up just right and put a wax coat on our board to help with grip issues. Special thanks to the lift manager Sean for his expansive knowledge and quick guided tour of the facilities available to the mountains attendants and customers he was a help throughout our stay and was able to answer every question with ease.

PANDEMIC price gouge!!!! They conveniently sell out of "evening passes" and will try to sell you "extended day" which is also good for the entire evening. Tickets are double the price. So you can ski at night but only if you pay double? I guess they aren't really "sold out". You should be ashamed. I'll drive the extra time and give my money to Blue or Camelback. Disgusting!

I spent the last 6 years in Washington State so I can't really compare this as a "Mountain", but considering my cost with a Military discount, I think it's a great deal. The prices are a little ridiculous for flat rates considering the size of the place and the amount of snow. My personal experiences here have been great and the staff have been very friendly to me. If my family didn't have to spend so much on tickets just to join me I would have given it a 5.
