This is a very nice hotel, that comes with just about everything a guest could want

Unless you reserve one of the more expensive rooms here don't do it. The regular oceanfront room is very small compared to most I have ever stayed in. Plus be prepared to park across the street about a block away and walk back. Not well lit around the parking garage at night. Also make sure the valet spaces can be parked in. The front desk didn't tell myself and a lot of other guests we could park in them even though we weren't using valet parking until we had already returned to the motel from the garage.

We was put in 2 rooms that was dirty. One room had no heat

Room smelled like someone tried to cover up cigarette smoke. Food disposal smelled awful and dirty silverware. Room lay out is nice. Pools could be cleaner. Its right next to the boardwalk so the night life is great

This resort really need to upgrade and remodel, for the price it's a little out dated.

Excellent place to stay...minutes to everything and walking distance to the boardwalk. Absolutely loved the hotel, minus the elevator situation. 4 elevators total for 19 floors and hundreds of rooms. During our stay, 1 elevator was down. You literally wait forever, we waited about 30 minutes one time. 14 people also got stuck for a couple hours one of the days we were there...we will likely return, but will request a lower floor. 10 flights of stairs is killer after a day at the beach...

What a great location! Right on the beach ... with a great view. The only real downfall is that the parking garage is a block away ... but a little walking doesn't hurt much.

Me and My family stated at this hotel for a week in June for my birthday week.. From the time we had to sign ourself in to the poor customer service was a waste of time, money and gas. It very unOrganized we had to wait a hour or two just because the maids hadn't finished our room! And we stay 2 hours away! That was ridiculous by itself.. It was really packed and wasn't customer friendly. When we finally get up to our room it was ok your normal standard two queen bed size room.. But when it finally hit night time and we sat on the balcony here comes the huge black Beatle looking water bugs crawling everywhere! On the floor the ceiling the walls... It was disgusting and terrible.. Unsanitary. Me and My family will NEVER be returning to this hotel or this side of the beach which was just Myrtle Beach. If you want somewhere nice and "diversity" North Myrtle Is the best.

2 bdrm condo ocean views. 1 king. 2 dbl bds.. sofa bed....

Canceled today because of hurricane and there is state of emergency in SC yet hotel wont refund me . Will not give business in future because of this and am going public. When people are traveling by car or plane and theyre preparing evacuations and declaring emergencies I would think a tourist city would try to do the right thing for future businesses and just for a guests safety. People watch who you do business with when dealing with emergencies.

Dont go.... I went for a pet friendly place but I wouldn't even let my pet stay here....

We have stayed here several times. Great service, love the view, keys stopped working so they fixed them. Only complaints were that the big indoor pool was not heated nor the little umbrella area inside, both were cold while the lazy river was beautifully warm. The other was that when they came to clean, they would leave the garbage can without a bag, or left the roll of garbage bags on the counter, and that was it. Didn't do anything else. Other than that, it was a great stay!

I really enjoy my birthday weekend there everyone was so nice I would really come back again !!!

We have been going the last couple of years for our anniversary. We enjoyed it because it on the strip and we can walk where want to go and our favorite spot not that far to drive. Room is clean and they will get someone to you fast if anything wrong. We don't stay anywhere else.

It's getting a little old and in desperate need of updates. Will find us a newer place to stay next year.

The night we stayed, they had a water main break earlier in the day. They were upfront about it but stated that we would not be able to get to our room until after 9pm. I agreed to come back because no other rooms were available in Myrtle Beach as it was the last weekend before school started. Once we were on our room, the water pressure was gone within the hour therefore we did not get to shower that night. On a positive note, the water was restored by the time we woke and they did try to make it right by taking $100 off of our cost for the night.

Bayview is a great hotel I ONLY stay in this hotel at Myrtle beach S.C!!! I never worry about bugs or anything !!!!great rates as well

Oceanfront balcony room was AMAZING! So tranquil, and a view you can t beat.

I love Bayview. I stay here every year . Tangela George is the best. The staff is great. Any issue I had, they were on it.

Had a great time the boardwalk was near by. Really enjoyed this trip. Will be back.

Not really what I would consider a resort. Dated decor, and noisy neighbors. Staff seems complacent and generally doesn't care if the rooms are clean. The fitness room is full of broken equipment. Definitely would not recommend.

Not good! Worst place that we have ever stayed in. The Dresser drawers were dirty, carpet was wrinkled and nasty, plaster is coming off of the ceiling, they was not servicing the rooms unless you ask for them to and our bathroom was getting dirty after our 3rd day so l called the front desk and asked for our bathroom to be cleaned and we was gone all day came in that night and they hadn't cleaned it. We will never stay at this dump again.

Room service had to be called for anything, they did not just come on their own. Hot elevators and parking 1 1/2 blocks away. Front desk help needs attitude lessons. Good location.

It has a great balcony view good pool for kids but needs upgrades on the beds and carpets. No towels and toilet paper when we checked in lol thought that was funny

Night shift office worker was rude and unprofessional, but the hotel itself was nice.

I WAS in love with this place....however the day b4 checkout we were asked to change rooms due to the owners coming in and REQUESTING their room. At 11:30, after we complained and had packed up most of our things, the owners decided they could wait another day and check in on Monday evening. Our Sunday morning, was messed up. I don't ever want to stay in a place where they can make you move in the middle of your stay because the OWNERS are inconsiderate!!!!!!

Bay view was our first family vacation and it was great. we checked in around 1300 hours and the fun started at hello welcome to Bayview, then I found out that they had a Star Buck's. we loved it and will see you all soon.

As much as I have to say I'll keep it short and sweet. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. And I work in customer service ! The stay is absolutely not worth the crap I've had to deal with here. Disgustingly awful.

Fantastic place clean nice views and very nice staff

One ice machine for 18 floors of guests? Kidding me right? Thing is ALWAYS out of ice, if you can ever find it (elevator plaque says next to pool, another elevator says floors 2 and 14 ... The thing is on 17th floor! A guest had to tell us) ... Cockroaches out on the balconies, bring a fly swatter to kill them and than toss them off he edge (watch out kids on the splash pad, haha!) ... Be ready to wash your dishes before you use them for the first time, fricken nasty ... Indoor pool is tiny as hell and only 4ft deep, and their 'lazy river' pool is always filled with annoying teens trying to kill each other ... 4 elevators, usually one or two of them are always broken, so expect to wait around a lot, 5mins or more either way ... I enjoyed having our own secured parking ramp, but didnt like walking across two streets to get to it, and I also liked the ocean view, but we could have gotten the same view for cheaper.

The hotel is dirty and run down. There was dust all over the room, soap that someone had already used in the shower, the toilet seat was broken and falling off, the mattress was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. There were crumbs in the pull out couch. The pool was dirty also.

Great hotel for its location and cleanliness. Only downside is the pool is filled with kids who don t listen.

Don't waste your money this place was very unsatisfactory, not very hospitable, we had some type of sewage smell in our room the last night. Customer service must have moved to the unknown, one of the most memorable experiences and not for a great reason, as much as Myrtle Beach advertises to come to Myrtle Beach it wasn't very welcoming

Stayed here August, 2016, for 4 nights and 5 days on the 19th floor. We had an oceanfront condo that had everything we needed. The staff was wonderful from the bottom floor to the top! In particular - Laura at check-in and our room attendant (forgot her name). One of your young security personnel was a tremendous help to me, as I had to check in by myself because my husband was running 3 hours behind me. This resort was as clean as I could have expected (with one exception that was taken care of immediately) given the volume of people flowing in and out. The parking deck was a BIG ++!! There are complaints of both parking deck and elevator services. First, the parking deck may be one block back, but it is NOT a big deal. You unload at the entrance and go park. It is a secure deck and a room key is required to access any part. Security was constantly visible. The check-in entrance was chaotic but they had personnel directing traffic as best they could and they were extremely helpful. As for the elevators, we stayed Sun. through Thurs. and the elevators were quite fast in my opinion. I can see that being a problem during the main summer months. There are 19 floors that the elevators have to service. Just be patient. Go ahead and plan a certain amount of wait time into any vacation you take. The whole world is overcrowded!!

Pretty nice Hotel, much more stocked and having more appliances than any other hotels I've been to. Location of parking lot is inconvenient, though not too terrible.

Staff was great. Room was smaller than pictured. Hallway outside reeked of pot. Booked a non-smoking room but there was an ashtray on the balcony. Room smelled fine though. Might stay again if the room is as big as they advertise.

Very disappointed in the quality of our room at this resort. The dryer made a loud clicking noise, the washer wouldn't fill past a small load, and the dishwasher leaked water onto the floor. It also took 2 days for someone to come up and fix the main light over the dining room table that wouldn't turn on. The housekeepers would do something different every day. You never knew if you were going to get fresh towels, no towels, the trash taken out, or the trash taken with no new bags left in the cans. Our beds got made one time the entire 7 days we were there. Over all not satisfied with this resort at all.

We visited the Bay View Resort to celebrate our anniversary. This was a wonderful stay from the beginning to the end. The check in process was very professional and pleasant. The room accommodations were truly a home away from home atmosphere! The daily telephone calls to see if our needs were being met were appreciated. We will definitely stay at The Bay View Resort again!

I love this place, everything is cleans and great services, the staff are very friendly.

This place was awful! If your looking for a nice vacation do not stay here!!! The first night we were there our air went out and they couldnt fix it so we had to be moved. I went and looked at the room they were moving us to and there were ROACHES on the sinks in the kitchen and bathroom!! So we wanted to leave but the night shift refused to give us any money back! So they show us another room an it seemed alright but I asked for them to spray the room. They couldnt find any spray! Once we moved into that room the air went out in it twice! They were able to get it back working. But then the bathroom lights went out I tried changing the light bulbs but it didnt work. I notified them of the lights but no one ever came to fix it! Then they have glass cups and I poured my daughter a glass of orange juice and as soon as she put the cup to her lips the glass shattered in her mouth cutting her tongue and lip! The cup had a crack in it and they should check all cups and plates when people leave but oh course they dont! I took the cup and filed a report they then refunded us $150. Which was nothing compared to all the issues we had. Then the smoke detector started beeping. I called them about it and no one could find batteries to change it so they decided it was smart to just unplug it until two days later someone come and changed it but it continued to beep after being changed so they finally replaced the whole thing! Then in the kitchen near the refrigerator I saw a roach so the hotel deff has a problem with bugs!! They tried to say in the first room they moved us to that the guests that stayed in that room must've had them bc they didnt have any problems. Well that's a lie! So I will never stay there again!

I enjoyed myself here a lot! Front desk was awesome, my room was neat and cleaned, WiFi was good. Close to the strip. Indoor pool was amazing. But most importantly A lady named Wanda at the front desk was extremely professional and went out her way for me. Definitely recommend a raise for her! But when I come back down again you guys definitely will have me as a customer.! Thanks again Ms Wanda!!

The pool area was small. It needed a little update in the rooms. It was decent.

Horrible customer service. Will never stay in a Bay view resort in my life again. Never been to hotel where you couldn't stand in front or in lobby at a certain time. Very Disappointed in service and staff.

I have stayed at this resort for years going at least twice a year. I have noticed changes that were negative but I booked again this Christmas. We book the suite because a lot of my family came. This trip was my deciding decision to never go back to this resort. This was a horrible stay hotel wise, however we made lemonade out of lemons. The receptionist were "doing their job" no customer service etiquette.
Rooms were half cleaned not to mention that one of our rooms had a joint on the floor. They did switch rooms out. So what does that tell you. The aroma of Marijuana was overwhelming all day and all night long for 2 days. Towels were not delivered, and dont mention trash was never picked up. Went to complain to front desk, THAT WAS A JOKE. I asked what kind of facility were they running. My request to pick up dirty towels and 10 bags of trash never happened. So we placed them along the hall. I have never been so disappointed. You want get me again..
DONE....stuck a fork in me.

Had some problems with plumbing, but finally relocated to a nicer room. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star rate.

Our room was above and beyond what we were expecting. The service was top notch as well. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be back

My family and I have stayed at Bay View Resort during the summer. This was our first Thanksgiving away from home and we all enjoyed and had a great fun time! The pool area was the place to be! We visited the pool area and it was nice. The only thing I didn't like about it, was the number of children in the hot tub! It should be for adults only, but other than that, we will definitely be back!
