Overall I am extremely satisfied with this resort. There is a parking garage close by that is only used for bay view resort people. It is well lit and I a 22y/o female felt safe walking to and from the building to the resort. The view is amazing from the ocean front suite, the staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean. Amazing deal and located in the strip!

Although the room had a great view I could not sit outside without the constant smell of pot from the other rooms. I couldn't even leave my windows open. House keeping never took our trash until the day we left. I felt unsafe leaving the hotel after dark because of the people who were around.

Decent location and nice rooms. Could be a little quieter.

I loved everything about this place from the decor to the staff the location is perfect it is in the middle of everything

Everything was absolutely fine. The pool area was very hot and smelly and the chlorine was very strong. We put up with it though. We enjoyed the room until we started seeing roaches. We stayed on the 7th floor room 703A. We spoke with the manager and it took a lot of convincing before he decided to give us a few dollars back. We were also offered a room but we re leaving tonight. Plus we would not take it anyway because if there s roaches in this room, there s roaches in all the rooms. It is absolutely disgusting and we will not be staying here again! Thank you!

Wondeful atmosphere watchin the waves. The place is clean and neat. Front desk service is nice. Maids are attentive . vacations are a must here .

Hotel was great. Right on the beach with easy access. A big parking garage across the street so parking was easy. Walking distance to a good chunk of the strip. Only downfall was waiting for the elevators, 4 elevators for 19 floors of guests. But I'd still go back and visit this hotel again.

Room was small but it was nice parking is awkward. It's not connected to the hotel and we had to carry food in the rain due to the location of the garage. Resort is nice overall

We have stayed here before. First thing we had to have the blankets changed in the room due to them being clean. So far everything else has been ok.

Staff is very friendly. Hotel and rooms were clean. Some noise heard from adjoining rooms. Price was comparable to similar properties. Would stay here again!!

We booked are room a week before we went down and got there an hour after check in and are room was not ready we than got moved 3 floors higher. Checking in was night mare. The key to the parking garage almost never worked without trying it 4 to 5 times. The staff was rude and barely ever nice. The hallways smelled like moldy water. The room was fine and not was advertised and tv was tiny. We had no shower curtain or shampoo only hand soap. The coffee pot was broken asked for new one every day and was told they would be up with a new one and never did. The pool area was small and extremely over crowded. The only nice thing about this place is its right off the ocean. There are much nicer place to stay than this one.

The furniture in the front area of the condo. Is very old. Appliances outdated. Front desk customer service was very nice. Pools small overcrowded. Will not return.

We had a few issues at checkin but the staff was over the top helpful and polite and got us squared away in no time.

The people that check you in are very nice the rooms are clean and the view is beautiful

My husband and i went for 1 nt..they let us check in as soon as we got there which was 7am and hooked us up with an ocean front condo on 19th floor for under $100 and the staff was very friendly

This was my first time staying at this Hotel and i can say I absolutely love it...the room was Clean and has friendly employee's..I love the parking arrangement you have to have a key to get in the parking garage.I will be staying here again

I enjoyed my stay with the exception that I had to correct a few things as far as the room was concerned but once corrected the stay was great

I had a coffee at the Starbucks. The views are great and the breezes too

For the price the rooms were small and outdated. They ran out of towels and referred guest to get pool towels which didn't compare and attitudes came with it. The next day housekeeping had an attitude when I asked for wash clothes. Only two in a room of 4. Room has insects. And the covers we're dirty. The small was nasty looking. The kitchen didn't make sense a dishwasher and no stove. It takes more to get to a room than it was worth. We had to go through 2 doors and the space outside the doors were bigger than our room. Definitely not worth the price.

Got there about 6 p.m. I called while sitting outside the check in and was told it would be 1 price got inside it was another. The guy at the front desk didn't know what to do so another lady came up same problem then another. She finally got me checked in after the 1st lady was a smart ___. Get to the room and it stinks, the furniture is old dirty, outdated, rug stinks. Bed pillows and bedspread is unacceptable. For the price it should've been clean, smelling good. The double balcony is dirty chairs as well as every corner. Inside and out Checked in Fri - Sun really wanted to go back home last night. It's not acceptable and I was planning a trip here for a week in August it will not be here. There's no security camera's in parking deck as well as elevators. Everytime we' ve stayed police arresting someone which blocks the hotel for hours, as well as loud music all night.. It's really horrible especially when you get inside and would rather have slept in your car. Upgrade these nasty outdated hotel. I've been up since 2 a.m. thinking of leaving early because it's horrible here.

We stayed in a private condo with Elliott's rental. There is no outdoor pool..ok..but the noise of 50+ people inside their tiny indoor pool area will run you out or crazy. They allowed anything to go on while in the pool area and the smell wasn't chlorine but horrid. Nice splash pad area to cool off in and some lawn furniture. Not handicap friendly at all to get to the beach. You will wait for elevators and once on it will be a long ride full of stops on most floors. No ac and hot in the common areas. Not the worst place if good weather but for rainy days it is. If planning a trip be sure not to stay on the side they're constructing a hotel. Lots of noise starting at 630am and there is zero side view anymore.

This is the only Resortpo we ever go to...it's very affordable and extremely beautiful

Stayed with my husband and 5 kids in a 2 bedroom suite and it was AMAZING! The amenities in the room were great and so was the housekeeping staff. The free internet and free movie rentals were an added bonus. The pool for the kids and the beach out the back doors was super convenient. I absolutely love this place and am already planning for next year!

Loved the location of the resort. I have a two bedroom oceanfront condo the view is amazing. The staff is very friendly. My family and I was very pleased and happy with our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

This used to be one of our favorite places though now I have to decrease the rating due to the following: limited garage parking due to spaces now being shared with neighboring hotel, congested front drop off/registration area with no staff traffic control, room bathroom had a mildew smell/black stain on bottom edge of tub, balcony floor full of bird poop, TV remote MIA, and no extra toilet rolls available once the primary roll went out. Will have to look for another location. On a pos note: beautiful ocean views and centrally located on the Boardwalk.

I stayed here the last weekend in july 2017. I read reviews on this place and really took them into consideration. Yes, almost every place has some bad reviews(you cannot please everyone) but we was very pleased with Bay View Resorts. The beds were smaller than what we thought. They sure didn't look like a queen size, maybe they were just full. I'm not sure but by the end of the day we was so tired, we didn't care what the bed was like, we slept like babies. The only complaint that we had was our bathroom. you could see mold starting to develop on the floor and I told the house cleaning lady about it but she didn't really say anything. I don't think she spoke English. The floor stayed wet in the bathroom but we never could find the leak. I noticed the walls and floor was drenched in water right after you took a bath or shower. Needless to say we kept towels on the bathroom floor for when we had to walk in there. I did hear 2 people in the elevator talking about how they got a room on the side where they are doing construction next door to the hotel, but we never had any issues with it. we couldn't hear it and we was three bedrooms aways from the construction side. The front desk receptionist was very nice and very helpful!! couldn't ask for anyone better!! but overall we was pleased, cant complain about a lot. Will we come back and stay again at Bay View? I'm really not sure, I think we will take our chances on another place until we find that "PERFECT" place.

Getting old and dated, good location but that's about all it has going for it.

Room clean, yet small, nice balcony, Elevators are always busy. I spent an hour unloading my luggage because of waiting on an elevator. Parking garage is close by, and at least it is shady. Internet had decent speed. Half the ice machines don't work. I've seen better and I've seen a lot worse accommodations. Staff service was good. Be sure to read everything. The $15 per night resort fee due at checkout adds tax. Location is great.

Absolutely horrible service. We booked a reservation 2 months in advance, called the day before and they said everything was all set up. When we showed up for check-in we were told that they dropped our reservation and had no more available rooms. We had no prior notice about this and were completely screwed since it was incredibly last minute. They did absolutely nothing to help us out besides offering a 2 bedroom room for the 6 people we have and they wanted the same price that we would have payed for the 4 bedroom room! I would never book with these people again and highly suggest that no one else does! There isn't a much worse situation then losing your reservation and not having a place to stay.

Hotel staff are unmotivated and not eager to assist at all. Our room was nothing like what was advertised. Most common amenities are non existing or extra charges. Stay somewhere else!

Nice staff. Pools could stand to be cleaned more often, but not bad. Nicer newer hotel nextdoor.

We stayed 4 nights and we had a great time. We got a sunset view room which was nice view of ocean Blvd, washer/dryer and a kitchen. We cooked our own meals to save $ because eating out can cost you in myrtle Beach . Room was clean. Nice sized pool, lazy river and hot tub. Resort is oceanfront. Social distancing and masks in common areas. We would stay again.

The photos of these rooms are misleading, they are small rooms. Rooms are not very clean. Ran out of soap, towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper. Great location on the beach.

Based on the website we were expecting...more. Our room is rather cramped, and there are not enough elevators for all the guests. The view of the ocean is fantastic though

Clean rooms. Only complaint was AC does not work. Also, they need to defrost the freezer in the mini fridge so you can actually put something in it.

The hotel was nice & staff was friendly but the noise from the construction outside our door along (we wasn t told about the construction at check in) with kids beating on doors after 11pm. Not to mention our bed felt like we was sleeping on cardboard. My husband and I came on vacation to relax and sleep and enjoy ourselves.

We had a blast. Our room was larger than expected & we even got our request to be on the highest floor. We had no problems during our stay. What made our stay epic was the super fun & super nice 2nd shift workers. LP, Lobby Girl, & Maintenance/Security you guys made our night. Can't wait to have another vacation to come here.

Great location right on the boardwalk. Starbucks literally attached to the hotel. Amazing staff. We had an unfortunate issue with the AC unit not working and George and Lameea were quick to respond, awesome to interact with and resolved the problem quickly. Will definitely be back.

Good experience just hated the elevator goes all the way up and skip our floor then goes down and comes back up sometimes ..long wait for elevator had to take stairs when checking out

It's the only place I stay when I go. Never had an issue. Rooms are amazing and the 2 balcony oceanview suites come with full kitchen, washer and dryer and either queens or king for beds. Starbucks is attached to the hotel and you are literally on the beach. Steps from boardwalk (2 min walk). Love this place

THE WORST I HAVE HAD WITH ANY HOTEL PLUS THE ROOMS WHERE 330.00 PER NIGHT SO NOT WORTH THAT THE FRONT STAFF WAS RUDE ROOMS NOT READY ON TIME ROOMS WAS NOT 330.00 PER NIGHT ROOMS POOL WAS SO NASTY I WOULD NOT HAVE PUT MY TOE IN IT THE PARKING SUCKED UNLESS YOU WANTED TO PAY SOMEONE TO PARK YOUR CAR LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE ON LINE WOULD NOT EVER STAY HERE AGAIN

Prepare to spend 15$ just to stay on top of all other prices and fees because of this place being a resort hotel. Staff was ok rooms were mediocre. glad paid off season price. Indoor pool lazy river hot tub cool view. Great thing about this place is that your allowed to smoke on balcony.

I thought I had a winner in this hotel after reading the reviews. However, I was very wrong. No directions in regards to where to go to check in- was told by a random man I have to go upstairs.

Police on site when I got there. Terrible customer service. The staff was complaining about the job when I checked in. I should have turned around then but it was 11pm at night and after a long drive plus child in tow.

Horrible smell. The room was too small and the microwave doesn't work. Spoke with guest services about the microwave and she said someone would be up quickly and that was 40 minutes ago.

Also parking is across the street in some shady looking parking garage. Only positive is somewhat of a view.

The value of what we paid for what we received was decent. The amenities were good and there was plenty of parking in the parking garage. The check-in process is extremely painful and inefficient. The location is the best part. It's a short walk to the boardwalk area and the pier. The rooms were clean and I slept surprisingly well even having back issues. The customer service, however, is awful. Be prepared for attitudes and don't leave anything behind in the rooms because they will not work with you after you leave. We were met with multiple attitudes during our stay. For one, we had a front desk clerk get angry with us because we asked for another coffee packet for our room on the third day of our stay. She angrily stated, "if you want one, come and get it," and hung up on us. As long as you avoid interaction with the employees as much as possible, I believe you will have a decent stay. I personally won't be returning due to the customer service. Also, look where you step. We accidentally stepped in the contents of someone's stomach twice during our stay, once on the sidewalk in front of the resort and once in the parking garage. That's just Myrtle Beach though.
