We haven't made it inside but are very dissatisfied. Customer service just hung up on me! We booked through AirBNB and the site clearly said trailer parking I even confirmed it with our host I will take that up with them. The onsite person just said it s on our site I explained the situation and asked if there was anything he could suggest, and he said read the website and hung up!
It s bad enough that they could not muster an ounce of concern for the situation their guest is in, but to hang up. I guess the experience can only improve because it can t get much worse.
I started searching and there are parking options and a decent customer service team would have stepped up and offered recommendation not hung up. I was on a land line and preceding tone and verbiage was rude, so the hang up was not an accident.
Update hours later we got in the room:
Trash cans full, pizza in the closet and flour coating the balcony from the upstairs guest "prank" the night before.
And we parked the trailer at another hotel and got a guest parking pass.
Side note, one of the desk agents said there is onsite trailer parking but not for enclosed trailers, only open trailers - which contradicts what the gentleman who hung up on me said.
There are plenty of great places to stay in this wonderful city, learn from our experience, pick one of them!
I will recommend to others and i will also come back again.
Staff friendly. Hotel and rooms are clean. Price was great. Only negative was the parking. It is across 2 streets and you have to walk through 2 not so nice motels to get there. It's a real inconvenience if you come and go a lot. Otherwise no complaints.
Absolutely loved this resort! The location is perfect, with lots of places to eat/drink/play, and the amenities are great. The lazy river is nice (if you can find a kid free time), but it can get crowded. Our ocean front room was a bit compact, but for 2 people it was fine to navigate. We had a king size bed and it was extremely comfortable. The bath room was spacious, and we had hot water with great water pressure. The concierge, Marc, was helpful and awesome.
Amazing View! Spacious hotel room!! Very child friendly indoor pool area! Slow elevators, workout room is missing all of its equipment! housekeeping was very prompt with bringing us towels and unclogging the toilet when we arrived!!!
Staff was helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Key cards sometimes took a few seconds to work but they worked.
Friendly staff.Great location is close enough to walk to main part of the boardwalk,but also far enough you don't hear the late night noise. Room was clean,and view was amazing. Parking garage is a little inconvenient and enough so,that I wouldn't use this hotel for a long stay.

Thing is the ones working the pool area are always on their phone in stead of paying attention to things going on in the lazy river and the pool! We always stay in an oceanfront condo we love the ocean view! The only bad thing is when on the balcony weed is smelled all the time ,crazy loud music on Friday night in the room next to us!! We stayed on the 16 floor the first yr and 15 floor last yr! Everything was great with room. This yr we were on the 6th floor hairdryer didn t work fridge was off balance it rocked every time you opened it!
We stayed at Bay View.. oceanfront condo....loved it...clean...friendly staff...great location on boardwalk...would do it again!!!

Its okay. The hotel location is great but the hotel itself is dated. The rooms are mostly clean but the halls and property amenities are not. There is also a horrible smoke smell throughout the buoleding.

Spent a week at the end of February at this modern resort (opened in 2019) and had a great time. It is located on the boardwalk just a 7 minute walk on the beach or boardwalk from the downtown sky wheel. Location was a short drive to shopping, shows, and major restaurants. Large indoor pool, lazy river, hot tubs, and water flumes were fabulous at this smoke-free property. (Some folks tried to smoke near the pool deck door which opened to the outdoor lounge chair/sunning area.) Game room had billiards and table tennis. Fitness center had view of coastline facing up boardwalk toward the town center. Hotel very clean. Comfortable bedding. Wonderful to have ocean view. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet which lasted until 10am. Parking was in a locked parking garage a block or so away from the hotel, but there was a free golf cart shuttle or valet parking for 12 dollars per day. There is no covered walkway to the garage. You basically walk between 2 older motels and enter with your room key. Highly recommend hotel since the indoor waterpark provides alternatives for a cold or rainy day. Even in the off season, there were planned children activities on the weekend (hula hooping, diving search game, various crafts, etc.) which were mostly free or at a low cost to cover the craft materials.

I have been to this resort several times and my last visit there was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I was bitten by bed bugs and the the manager of the hotel failed to do what was promised. I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding my luggage that was left behind and the the remaining refund that should have been credited before leaving. The total experience was TERRIBLE!!! This was a last minute summer get away for my boys and I was miserable due to the itching from the bed bug bite. I had to be put on a 5 day course of steroids due to the swelling related to the bed bug bite. I emailed the manager twice and she never responded. I m so disappointed in Bayview especially considering that it s the resort that I have spoken so highly of before my most recent experience. I will NEVER visit there again mostly because of the poor service given on the managers part and not following up with me as promised. The resorts can t help if bed bugs are brought in by guest but taking full responsibility for the inconvenience that was caused would show that you re willing to do all you can to satisfy the customer.
The TV in the living room and bedroom to small. Could have been bigger. The carpet had a dirty smell.
Rates were good. Great if you have dogs. Room left a lot to be desired

parking is across the street a few hundred yards back to the front entrance. The Loading n Unloading area up front is very small. The elevators was quick n quiet. The temp in Myrtle was cold. The room was cold the heat didn't work. After a few calls and a visit to the front desk we was switched rooms from the 4th floor to the 7th floor. Everything was nice until the morning work crew came in. We was in a room within a few rooms. Every time the cleaning crew came in and out the heavy door would bang. The ocean view was beautiful... The distance to the strip can't be beat. Smoking on the balcony is allowed. The TV is in a strange place. The room was rather small for a king bed. The bathroom was nice clean and roomy.

Nice mom and pop hotel on the beach! We got the largest room available oceanfront, it has 3 queen beds ,2 rooms, 2 desk, And a pull out table , full kitchen, jet tub, free wifi, 2 flatscreen TVs with cable...not smart tvs, small balcony 2 chairs and a mini table, 2 closet with hangers. Overall not a bad place to spend a week at beach. Honestly, I preferred the, other hotel Monterey Bay we stayed before this trip. The whole hotel is non smoking. There are some conveniences such as a inexpensive cafe, serves room service, Starbucks at bayview in a block away, it's a nice quiet place to enjoy the ocean!
Nice place, could use some renovation and upgrades. Didn't exactly get the room we thought we would, but it wasn't awful. Right on the beach and close to everything. I would come back. Couple of pics from our room and a couple sun rises.
Great place the only problem I had was on the balcony could not enjoy the view without smelling someone smoking pot we had kids with us and we was trying to get some air In the room and all we should smell was pot
Day three....the housekeeper although struggling with English did a super job on the room and on time. She didn't get fi is before we came back but was honest and said she would be back to finish after we left again. Honesty is a big deal to me and I was in pressed. Kudos

After 12 hours driving we arrived to check in, but we were just told that they have no water no AC and we couldn't check in. They couldn't tell us when we would be able to come back and didnt provide any assistance in finding lodging for the time been.
I understand things happened but at this point call the customers and help them to find a place, do something or say the proper thing !!! Not easy to find a room at this time of the year!!
After 2 hours we found a nice place to stay,thank God!!!.
I cant tell how good or bad is this place but I can tell you the customer service needs to learn how to talk to customers in any situation !!.

We just recently stayed at Bayview resort, paid for a oceanfront king room. We have stayed multiple times to this resort. This was the WORST experience we have ever had in Myrtle beach period. We always stay in a nice resort and until this visit enjoyed Bayview! When we got there we waited 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get checked in.. Then we got in the room we found it partially clean.. the bathroom was dirty( floor, bathtub) hairs in the tub and crumbs and hair on the floor, carpet stunk(had to keep the sliding door open to keep smell at bay). I had to take a towel and clean with the Lysol we had brought. There was dust and nasty layer over light fixtures. Really? The hotels have been shut down for weeks, that would have been a great time to clean/freshen simple things... The knob in the bathroom to turn the tub on was falling off.... The halls stunk!!! Between the nasty wet dog smell to everyone smoking marijuana. I have 3 kids and I would have left if I had them. No one should have to be subjected to that unless they want to be.. The stair wells in the hotel and In the parking lot reek of the smell of urine. The elevators had mold on the ceilings and the floors were disgusting and had garbage... I made comments to the front desk 3 different times and nothing was done. I was told that if I left during my stay I wouldn t be refunded. So we didn t have another choice unless I paid for another hotel, mind you most all stated no vacancy. So what do you do?????
The only good thing I found was the Starbucks, staff (especially Amy and Susie) were great!!! Went down for coffee each day and was always enjoyable!!! Even with the amount of customers it was clean and efficient!

First off soon as I got here 2 hours earlier then expected room was still ready and waiting. Parking across the street which I thought was a negative hit wasn't bad 2 min walk cant even finish a cigarette it was so close by. All restaurants and buffets were amazingly close by everything less then 5 mins away this was best hotel and best price by far I'm actually going to book this exact suite again for my bday in July and I'm not one to repeat too often. But it's a must if you are here to visit this spot indoor pool great rooms good rates swear this is my spot to keep everytime I hit Myrtle try it out you won't be disappointed.
Very nice condo. Daily housekeeping available. Great view from balcony! Nice kitchen. Clean. Fun indoor water activity area. Beautiful grounds. Rentable beach chairs/umbrella on the nearby beach. Short walk to local activities & esteries. Secure parking garage. All-in-all a very good experience!
Basic. Relatively clean but maid did not come for 2 days....had to call the front desk and complain. Young woman at the reception was so professional and efficient. The parking garage is secure but their speed bumps getting in and out are ridiculously large and if you have a sports car you are bound to bottom out.. Generally a comfortable stay all in all. Watch for the extra charges per day, around an extra 15 dollars per day
Place was okay. Smelled like weed the whole time ans elevator service sucked. Housekeeping was nice though with a good location

Cons: housekeeping kept running out of towels and got attitudes when we asked for some . Parking is an absolute nightmare when trying to checkout. Pool areas is super small for the amount of people staying at resort. Parking is a block away and the 1st 3 floors are taken by valet.
The resort appeared to be clean but after being their for one day we noticed small roaches in the bathroom and kitchen - walking on the food we had on the counter tops. We went to the front desk and ask them to spray the room and went back the next day to ask again and the room was sprayed. That evening we saw dead roaches on the floor and counter tops and we decided to leave after only being there 3 1/2 out of the 5 days we paid for. Would never go back.
Some of the Condos/Suites are privately owned. So some Suites may be nicer than others. The room we were in had outdated furniture and we had to put covers or throws over them to sit comfortably. Other than that, it was fine. I'm grateful they have more elevators now.
Stains all over the sheets. I was not have it I drove four hours to get there. Then i checked out and found another hotel.
We stayed in a double bed room for 2 nights. It took nearly 30 minutes to get checked in.The reservation said "ocean view." When we walked in the only view was a building. When my husband and I went back downstairs to ask the front desk about the ocean view, the lady was very hateful and stated "it used to be an ocean view but then they built that building." She then proceeded to say, again, with an attitude, "if you walk out on the balcony and lean over and look left you can see part of the ocean therefore an ocean view." She was not willing to put us in an actual ocean view room and refund wasn't available. To make things worse, the second bed in our room looked like someone had slept on the top sheets and there was a whole in the middle; it was sunken in badly. The room was also extremely small and the cleanliness could have been better. The website is very deceiving as to what your experience will be in reality. I will be sure to never stay there again.
Unfortunately, I cannot give any stars to this resort. The only reason it has one star is because I couldn't post without putting one star. I read multiple reviews before coming to this resort and the previous reviews did not prepare me for what I experienced. I rented a two bedroom condo with a jet tub. I was given a two bedroom with no jet tub and placed in a handicap room despite paying for what the resort advertised on their website. When I arrived to the resort it was around 7pm and crowded, loud, and the line was so long to check in. I was given another room to check into after I asked to be changed into a room that I paid for. After waiting 20 minutes for the elevator my family went to the 14th floor to open the door on guests that were already occupying the room. My family was left to stand in the hallway of the 14th floor while I waited another 20minutes for the elevator and then decided to use the steps. Please keep in mind I had a 16 month old baby with me. Then I was told there was no other room available. I had to check into the room originally gave to me to find out one of the showers was broken. There was a brown crust on the toilet, I can only image what that was. Then the dryer was broken and I did not find that out until 11pm and had to air dry my clothes. The place was not clean at all. There was food in the utensil drawer. I also had a bad experience with unprofessional staff at the front desk. I came down the next morning to talk to a supervisor after not being able to resolve my issues with the night supervisor. The girl at the front desk went to get the office manager and began to make fun of me in the staff office which is not that far away from the front desk and you could hear a pin drop at 930am. The staff denied making jokes about me yet I could clearly heard them from the office. It was extremely upsetting to be at this resort. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The pools were crowded and the front doors were broken. It was not a safe environment. The only good thing I can say about this resort is that the supervisor refunded me and I was able to stay some place else. Book someplace else. I hope with my review that I helped someone from going through my experience at this resort.
The condo we stayed in had the most amazing view of the ocean! Every employee that we came in contact with we're very friendly and welcoming. I'd go back and encourage anyone to stay at Bayview.
My family and I stayed at this resort for 4 days and 3 nights. The location is great! The view is great! But the room is very dated! The furniture needs to be replaced! There was spots all over the sofa. I clean it! The toliet in one of the bathrooms didn't flush by handle. We had to go inside the back just to flush the toliet. One of the showers leaked! Their isn't a good variety of pots and pans. The room didn't feel beachy it had dark colors! I killed at least 3 ROACHES in the kicthen... The staff is great! Be we will not return!
The resort was pretty nice. If you plan on actually cooking& using the kitchen you will need to bring the pans& cooking utensils. The maids were great in keeping up with clean towels. Because of the lack of parental supervision in the pool areas I recommend installing cameras. There is an awesome pizza place across the street.
We had 9 people in our party, we opted for the 4 bedroom suite and it was awesome! We we're on the 19th floor. Every room had a TV & DVD player in every room, washer & dryer and fully functional kitchen. It didn't come with pots & pans or enough dishes for everyone but it was nice. Spacious closest closests in every room. The beds are comfortable. Free DVD rental downstairs the only downside is you can only rent 1 movie at a time. The balcony is kind of small. We seen a couple roaches one in the kitchen, one in the main bathroom and one on the balcony. We called the front desk and they sent an Orkin man the next day to spray. The pool area is pretty small for this large of a hotel and only indoors. The pool only has a 3ft & 4ft. The hottub jets are too high and splash in your face and the jet timer didn't work. The pool area closes at 11 PM and opens at 9 AM, it should be open all night or close later or have an adult only time after a certain time. Our ice marker didn't work but maintenance was prompt in fixing it. The maintenance man Bill was extremely nice! It's close to everything. Check in/check out time is pretty hectic (we walked by the day before our check in) but we expected it coming in to it so we planned ahead. Centrally located which is awesome! Elevators are kind of slow and stop on almost every floor but we didn't have too many issues with that. One elevator did break down but they ended up fixing it. Overall, a pretty nice place to stay for the amount we paid.
We stayed here for 4 nights this past week. The rooms were very nice, but room service only came to clean 1 time.. we asked them to come back at a later time because we were all still getting ready for the day.. they NEVER came back at all our whole stay. We had to use the same towels all 4 days and our garbage was overflowing because they never came to change it and didn t leave extra bags. The wait to get on the elevator was absolutely ridiculous.it was sometime a 30+ minute wait. My kids and I walked up to the 10th floor before my husband even got on the elevator. The day before we arrived a few people got trapped on one of the elevators. Other than that the hotel was very nice and front desk was great!
Some real pros and cons to this place. Great location, beautiful views and no hassle environment. Here's why it wasn't 4 or 5 stars though...upon arrival it's obvious there's no one there. Anyone who has been to Myrtle in the winter knows it's a ghost town. There was 1 person in the whole pool area. When I parked my car in the garage there were at most 20 other cars. The resort has a minimum of 200 rooms. So at check in, I joked with the receptionist about hooking me up with the best room. Well she did give me a beautiful room, a suite with a living room and more. Problem was it faced the street. No ocean view. So I called the front desk, and they offered for a $5 a night upcharge to switch me to an ocean view room. I annoyingly agreed and went to a new room. The new room was TINY!!! Barely big enough for the bed and also part of a quad of rooms, that had other people staying in the rooms (remember there wasn't more than 20 out of 200 rooms being used and they put me right next door to someone with a do not disturb sign on the whole time I was there). Going back to when we checked in, they had a Starbucks that was apart of the building but it was under renovation, no big deal. I surely wasn't worried about it, but Tangela who checked us in and was as nice as could be told me, if we wanted coffee just call down and some would be brought up, no charge. So that first morning, we called and asked for some coffee. Yes sir, we will bring it right up to you.......oh really?? Well no one ever showed up with any nor did the front desk ever let us know that they weren't bringing it. So well there's that. Then finally on the last day, we sleep in, no alarms and we sleep until 10:30-10:40. I get up and realize that check out is at 11. I call the front desk to let them know, we are running a little behind and can we have a late check out? I'm told fairly rudely & firmly by Chris, no we are completely full and have a high turnover today, you have to be out by 11 or we will charge you!! Now I know damn well, there's ZERO chance they are sold out. I've been in the gated parking lot....btw there's no where else to park so unless 175 rooms worth of guest ubered there, there's no way it's even 20% full. So I certainly didn't appreciate being lied to or talked to like I'm dumb. Anyway not wanting to be charged we busted our butts and got out of there by 11. Lastly, I would say for a hotel on this level the bed and pillows were definitely outdated and in need of an upgrade.
Extremely good place. My wife and I love that it's right on the boardwalk. We walk to the Sky-wheel and the ice cream shops. We also love the lounge chairs on the grass. We can relax and see the ocean. A really relaxing place.
Dirty rooms and not cleaned all week, too few pools/hot tubs. Non-smoking not enforced. Furniture dated. Not enough elevators, try some place else.
