We had so much fun! We got there 3 hours early, unintentionally, and they got us checked in as soon as possible. My husband requested a 6th floor or lower room but we ended up with 11th floor, which was perfectly fine for us because we just wanted something asap. The room was clean, well-stocked and inviting. The washer and dryer in room was SO convenient after a day at the beach, as was the kitchen when we decided to cook in the room. The room was pretty large, accommodating enough for 7 people (three of them kids)! And that view, oh I never wanted to leave! I only have a few complaints, but they're just me being picky: we could've used more dish detergent for the dishwasher, I had to go ask for toilet paper every other day because they only gave us one roll for 7 people, they could have provided a door stopper (my 2 year old kept slamming the door shut lol) and the pull out couch wasn't the most comfortable. But honestly, I'd deal with all those issues 1,000x over just to wake up and look outside and see the ocean. Seriously, go! You won't regret it!

It's nice the bad thing is that there are too many shells and they hurt the feet

It started out bumping due to all the teenagers here, but once they left it was good

It was a good room to me yet had a burn mark on the couch already but was post to be a none smoking. I haven't received my 100$ deposit back yet and that's my only issue I have! They tell you 3-5 business days then I've called so many times after the 5th day explaining how I haven't received it. So then I was told it'll take 10 business days. Well it's been 10 business days so I don't understand what the issue is. Every other time I book a hotel at the beach I always get my deposit back either the next day or no more than 3 days afterwards.
Spent my last dollars here just to have a good birthday and was depending on my deposit.

Clean room, great view. Everything went great for my stay.

Other than a misunderstanding at check-in my stay has been great. The night manger worked diligently to resolve or check-in issue. The room was extremely comfortable and the view from my balcony was beautiful.

So if I could rate this a zero I would . The service isn t the best, the freaking elevators are the absolutely worst. My sisters and I got stuck on theses way too busy elevators. Took 15 mins for the fire rescue to come get us out. But the worse part about it was , there was a child on it also along with us and it s parents that was scared to death. Would I recommend this hotel.... hell no!!! But for a upgrade you damn right it needs it..

We just visited for the day but the pool area was small. The area seemed nice though.

Nice place to stay on the beach. The wait for the elevators was the only thing I disliked about Bay View Resort

Great room, was like a condo! Separate bedrooms kitchen and living room. It was amazing. The pools are simple and small. Very nice little resort style hotel with upgraded rooms available

Very nice upscale hotel. Full kitchens, washer and drier in the rooms, and bedroom area separate from the living room area. Great location for good eats and entertainment within walking distance.

No towels on day 2 until after 7pm and then we had to go get them ourself from lobby. The elevators were broken and had to wait for an hour 1 to get to the 11th floor. Tryed stairs and by 4th floor I thought I was dieing. Lady in lobby was SUPER RUDE because we refused to use toddler sized pool towels for showering

Salesmen were way too pushy, not understanding the meaning of no. Every time we told them we did not have money, they would lower the price, which goes to show how much they were ripping us off.

When we first arrived at Bayview we had a problem checking in. The manager apologized and everything seemed fine untill we got in the room and there were chips and yellow stains all on the mattresses with no sheets. As soon as we saw it we called the front desk and they moved us to another room just to find out that it didn't have air conditioning. We were very excited to try a new place. We were totally disappointed. Will never go back. The manager Matt was no help at all :(

We stayed in a ocean front, 3 bed room Condo. The layout was Great! It had a large living area with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and one of the bedrooms was separated from the rest. It had a small bar area with a mini fridge. We have stayed here in the past and it was really nice.

The people are so very friendly down here I don't ever want to leave and on the Sky Wheel was just amazing you can see so much up their

First not biker friendly. The hotel is nice. THERE IS NO PARKING!!! You have to park two blocks away in a garage or you can pay $15 a day for valet. One would think that it should be complementary for a above average hotel with key entry to the beaches. Staff. Some were nice, some were not. It depended on their moods. Food was tasteless, everything had a price tag, even coffee. Housekeeping was superb.. I would recommend another hotel with the water features if that is what you are looking for with children.

First of all my towel was dirty and then it stunk in the room it smelled like cigarettes and also we couldn t hear the fire alarm in our room so we could of died there s dirt in the hallways and mold in the ice machine. I m going to say one thing clean it nowwww PERIODT

Clean spacious room. Pools were fun for children. Starbucks om the first floor is a big plus!

Nonstop music blaring all night and into morning. Heard neighbor screaming and laughing all night and morning. Entire place smelt like marijuana. It was extremely ridiculous to have to pay $160.00 for no sleep and have to smell drugs everywhere in the hotel.

Walked in the room and it smelled so bad of cigarette smoke I couldn t breathe. Had to ask for a refund and they were very reluctant and rude to give it to me.

Room was nice, great view, great staff, great price under 1000$ for 3 bdrm and we had 12 People lol shhhhh don't tell

Stayed 3 nights and love the unit with view.but the united shares HVAC. System. Next door unit turned on the air, we had to call the front desk to turn the power off to hvac. Next day family complained about being hot. Bad building desk for hvac.
Place need cleaning. Talked to 3 different people and everyone said the room was dirty.
I will not be back.

Decided to try something different this visit at Myrtle beach and was very disappointed in my stay at the Bay view resort Myrtle beach. First night of our stay a cock roach was in the cabinet where the cooking utensils were located. Not your normal flying Beach roach an actual brown roach with NO wings. Water from Air conditioner was dripping onto bed, bed lining not clean. Customers service all together was not pleasant. Not a good first impression!

We had extremely obnoxious neighbors and it was 1:30 in the morning and we called for them to get this person yelling and cussing and slamming doors and they didn't do much to stop it, plus the parking garage is being a building across the street so if it was raining that was suck to have to walk all the way from the parking garage which theres a motel between the parking garage and the hotel, it's worth it paying a extra 50 something dollars to not deal with that mess, not recommended for family's

Beautiful view from hotel rooms and the rooms are big. But they aren't as nice as we thought they would be but a more of a laid back feeling. The employees are rude. But, other then that would we stay here again for my large family yes if our other hotel doesn't have any rooms big enough for us.

Rooms were very nice. Staff were friendly. Need more Elevators and air conditioning in them, and the hallways.

My room had stains on the furniture! The walls were thin. We kept hearing doors slamming, so we were going to sleep on the pullout couch. It was broken!!!! Did not get the relaxation we wanted! WTH! The rooms are VERY outdated! Then on top of that they double charged me, but had no record of my card on file. I was then told to send proof, which I did! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! To others, save your money!!!

Very nice place on the beach.loved the room. Elavators awful.. very slow .1 broke. .need more elavators an off street unloading area..but it's a very nice place.

We booked a winter rental, for 3 months. Our stay was from November 1st - February 1st. They placed us in a completely different room then what we had reserved. We got a correction made the following morning after check in. We was placed in room 1003A on the 10th floor. The room was very nice , except the balcony. It was very nasty and not clean at all. The maid service was terrible all except for one maid by the name Brandy. There was no vacuuming done, no actual cleaning. During the nights there was always someone blasting music, being loud, thumping, loud arguments coming from other rooms, etc. The smell of MARIJUANA was a CONSTANT smell. All day and all night, from the balcony, coming through the vents, and down the hallways. Management came up there ONE time after we informed them SEVERAL times and didn't do anything about it. The service overall was terrible. You could call the front desk and ask for something and nothing was ever brought. During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years people were throwing their sheets, trash, bags, and all kinds of things off their balcony. The parking garage was across the street which was not convenient, especially during the night. There was always people out standing on corners doing illegal things, people coming up and asking for money and a place to stay. Which made us very uncomfortable and we felt unsafe. The pool area was not pleasant as well. Every time we would go down there we would leave with a headache and our eyes burning due to the strong smell of chlorine. The resort currently owes me tax money back, $500.00 to be exact. When we checked in we were told that when we checked out we would receive the tax money back on that day because we stayed over 90 days. We have called but it's always a run around and I have yet to see any effort or any money back. This will be our last stay at this Resort in Myrtle Beach.

We had a nice room with a beautiful view, but the elevators weren't all working so the wait for one took forever. The staff was friendly the room was clean. Close to all the shops and lots of dinning places. Overall I would stay again.

This resort is ok. The best thing about stay staying there is that its in walking distance from the beach. It does have a waterpark inside of the resort, good for families or people with kids.However the place is a little run down. It's definitely in need of some remodeling.

Maid staff were great but Front desk staff an General Manager are not good. I have tried to contact the GM abour my stay. My room had a broken bed an other things. My son sat on the bed an the frame completely broke. He was a newborn so weight was not a factor. I called when it happened an went to the front desk but the manager never came. I will not be back again.

Stayed in the condo and the space was exactly what I was looking for. The only thing is they dont offer breakfast but my room had a full kitchen so I could throw down in.

Suites are very nice. Full kitchen, washer + dryer, 2 beds (4 if you get the full suite with the attached bedroom). Easy access to pool and gym areas, directly next to the beach, courteous neighbors, free parking. Some downsides are no restaurant/bar in the building and the parking garage is a short walk away as the garage is a block inland and you have to cross 2 streets to get there. Very central to multiple attractions in the area and directly between the 2 surrounding piers .

Absolutely amazing everything we thought it would be everyone was great. Staff was very very friendly from start to finish. Came here to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary. And it was the best anniversary vacation trip we've ever had. Definently will be back.

Just checked out of Bay View Resort, we stayed 2 nights and had a great stay. Our room was a 2nd floor suite with 2 balconies, full kitchen, bedroom with 2 queen beds. Sofa cushions were worn and saggy but otherwise everything was clean and comfortable in s great location!

The employees were really nice. Its right on the beach. The room was just ok. It's on the dodgy end of town with not a lot of restaurants near by.

Nice place to stay. Pretty close to all the shops and restaurants downtown.

We came to this resort as a family, myself my husband and our 2 toddlers. We came in on Memorial Day and left 3 days later. We stayed in the sunset suite on the 19th (top) floor. We did NOT encounter ANY issues with the elevators so idk what all the problems were that I saw on many other reviews but for being on the top floor we never had a problem and it was a pretty quick ride! I chose the sunset suite because it had 3x the square footage of the ocean view room but the same price. We had a full kitchen but we brought our own disposable kitchenware, no problems with any of the appliances. I agree there is barely any parking in front of the hotel to unload / load your vehicle but because we had 2 adults my husband pulled around the corner while I checked in this way we could just go to the parking garage and bring our things in at our leisure (there is a 15 min max parking time in the front). Yes, the parking garage is across from the hotel but there is a clear dedicated path from the hotel to the garage and it is key card access only which I thought was great, I think most of the people that complained about where the garage was are either too "up-ity" or just flat out too lazy to walk.

The only problem we encountered was our tub was not draining so we brought the problem to the front desks attention and they had it fixed promtly the next morning while we were at the beach. Also there are no "do not disturb" door hangers so room service did knock on our door every day which was a little annoying but again nothing to seriously complain about. They also left a huge mound of garbage at the end of our hallway which as we were leaving for dinner a woman on a walkie talkie was yelling at someone about. (She must have been a manager and at least she took the time to get it taken care of.)

Overall we had a good experience and I would definitely recommend and we will be staying here again in the future.

My stay at the bay view was horrible I took my daughter out there for her birthday traveling all the way from Philadelphia and when we got there I had reservations for a ocean front view and they gave me the wrong room, once I complain it to front desk they put us in the correct room then we found a roach on the wall that s when I started to get real upset at this point we complain again about that then they put us in a third room everything was find but once we go to lay down the bed sheets was dirty at this point I was tired and it was late so I walk down to lobby said something the lady told me sorry bout that and said she was going put us in a bigger room because the complaints she kept getting from us I wanted to leave but it was so late so I took the room when I get to the room it was the same room we had so we just left it alone and stayed once we got up in the morning we found a bed bug on the sheet at this point I wanted my money back and wanted to leave I had pictures to prove and showed to them I wasn t lien after all that they still was trying to get us to stay I just left and got my money back and went to north shore for the rest of my 2 days down the street great hotel. This was the worst hotel I been at

Great location, good customer service.
The lazy river was a fun place for our little kids.
It feels this hotel need a few .ore elevators for the amount of people in it.

Management is letting this place go to crap. It takes forever to get a elevator. The beds are absolutely hard as a rock. The floor is more comfortable. We stayed there 5 years in a row because of its location and price. We voiced out complaints and pretty much got the "ok bye bye" attitude. If you don't bring a thick foam bed topper. Don't stay here. All of our backs were in serious pain.

Love it! Great resort luxury style at an affordable price. Right on the strip where everything is. This is where I always stay when visiting myrtle beach. Rooms clean. Pool area could use more maintenance and clean but overall amazing place

Unless you like drug dealers and prostitutes soliciting you and your children you may want to stay somewhere else. Also on the last day the maid knocked on our door every hour starting at 8am to check out even though we had a DO NOT DISTURBE hanger on the door and a 11AM CHECKOUT. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Great for the off season. Parking is a bit of a hike and elevators are dumpy.

Used Bayview several times. Always clean and decent pricing. Visit May 2019 was my last. Initial room had issues; one bathroom.had black mold. When moved the room smelled like skunk the entire visit!! My thoughts were staff.got perturbed. Worst experience ever!!!

Beautiful room they gave me , but exspensive . My husband and I watched the enormous resort hotel be built , from the ground up . The women's name who checked me in was no coincidence . That was meant to be . That was a sign from my husband , Marty . I had to stop for the night in Myrtle Beach , especially being SO close to what would have been our 12 year wedding anniversary , which we were married in Myrtle Beach , right on the beach , on July 7th , 2007 ( 7/7/07 ) . The staff was so helpful and understanding . I was driving a big rental moving truck and they helped me find a parking place for it . And they loaded all my bags onto one of those luggage racks for me , including my husband's ashes . Not ALL visitors and customers are checking in for a vacation or for happy , frivolous time spent , and Bay View Resort seem to understand that . Thank you Bay View Resort , it's a wonderful place to stay .

The only thing that I didn't like was the pool was unattended by parents. The big kids run the pool. My two grand kids 8yrs old and 11yrs old could not get in on some days because no supervision. Plz ppl keep an eye on your kids even if they are teenagers. The language was bad. The horse playing was so rough. I no there just kids and they want to play but they don't even see the little kids.

The only reason im giving 4 stars because the Loss Prevention/Security folks are amazing here, the rooms are out dated and basically falling apart, you barely ever see the matinince folks, the popcorn ceilings are crumbling,theres holes or scapes in the walls, the tile in the rooms are so slick you almost fall all the time, the air con drips, and the lazy river and hot tub walls are crumbling. Im utterly unimpressed, but security was awesome!

Regretfully picked this hitel to celebrate my 59th birthday. The check-in was uneventful. The patrons in the next room smoked marijuana thoughout my stay. I couldnt enjoy the balcony because of the horrible marijuana smell. The staff tried to address it unsuccessfully. The air conditioner was broke and never fixed.

Horrible management, staff very immature, will never stay there again
