GERMAN ROACHES were in our room! Stayed for 1 night and found them next morning coming from crack in the wall. Showed video to the manager and acted as if was not a big deal cause there weren t many of them. Balcony was covered with bird poop that appeared not to have been cleaned in months. Not a pleasant smell. Lazy river is a joke. Super small and was nothing but babysit area for children. Overall hygiene of hotel was extremely poor. Would not recommend

Nice hotel with a great location. Parking is across the street in a locked/gated parking garage. Its nice that it is not open to the public but is a small walk to get there. Our room was nice and clean, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Probably the worst out of any hotel I have ever been in. The couch was also very uncomfortable. That was the biggest downfall, we didnt sleep well at all through our whole trip. This hotel is in good distance from lots of shops and activities. The elevators also leave something to be desired, there is only 4 for the entire building. I cant imagine how it is during peak season!! All in all not a bad place to stay just wish it would have been more comfortable to sleep and relax

Cramped room with view of construction 10 feet away

Great place, beautiful views, in the heart of everything. The pool and lazy river were a plus for our grandson. Great place to stay!!!!

Can't say enough about this place. My kids had a blast. The entire staff was excellent especially Micheal and Nikki and Terra. Greetings from Toronto guys!

Except for the elevator that take way too long to come to the first floor, the stay was really great. Nice place with a great bang for the buck.

Loved staying at this place especially durin the May month since its not that crowded. Hotel seems to have been remodeled with touch ups which was great. Will definitely be returning!

The staff was wonderful and the rooms were great. I would recommend staying there.

Pros would be you have a place to sleep. A big fridge. Good size counter/sink. Cons would be like most hotels the beds were uncomfortable. The TV channels were fuzzy. There is No ice machine. And on the last night we saw a Huge cockroach crawling up the wall. So would I stay there again? Eh! Wouldn't be my 1st choice.

I was so disappointed in this hotel. First time to Myrtle Beach, was not what we expected. The room was small, outdated, and had paper thin walls. You could hear people cough or laugh next door to us. The indoor pool was so small, and the hot tub is as well. The front desk staff was nice. There were renovations going on in the front driveway, and that was all you could hear in the rooms. The parking lot is a block away and you have to walk through the parking lot of a super sketchy hotel to get back to the Bayview. We cut our stay short here and found another hotel. We did come on a week that had really crappy weather, so my guess is if there was nice weather and you can enjoy this beach, this hotel would not be as bad. If you have bad weather and have to actually spend time in the hotel- I would absolutely not recommend this one.

Rude Rude Rude rooms were gross! Booked months ahead for oceanfront and got to our room and it was "ocean view" which if you look around the side of your balcony you can see the ocean. Told the wonderful lady at front desk who kindly said thats what you said on the phone before if you dont like it someone else will book it for the night we have no ocean fronts available. Then find nasty toe nails in the carpet, bathroom sink clogged with hair Then the pool lol dont let the pictures fool you very small everything lazy river is a small rectangle and pool is small 5 kids in it and its full and outside showers to wash from beach yep broken. They keep everything working just enough it dont fall apart. Very sad rude people big mistake making reservations here wont ever happen again hope i save someone else from making the same mistake as me

Well, we checked in early and had to wait for our room which was understandable. We left our luggage in the employee s room which was nice at the time. Fast forward to us arriving home, we noticed two of our jackets were missing. We had them upon arrival and I placed them in the front pocket of our luggage before placing them into an employee lounge. We did not attempt to wear the jackets again while we were there so I assume someone helped themselves to our stuff. I called the hotel MULTIPLE TIMES until someone review the tapes. Multiple times they said they were going to call us back but never did. Finally today after WE CALLED THEM they said there was nothing showing that they were missing. Multiple phone calls and ignoring us leads me to think they know exactly who took the belongings. They did nothing to rectify the situation.Very unprofessional. There customer service is horrible!! Next issue, the maid never cleaned our room on our second day. We had the do not disturb sign on in the AM before 10am but she never came back to try again. We called to ask her to come clean at 1pm, at 8pm we called her again not to come because at that point me were back in the room. We had no towels to shower. Next issue is the elevators. They had 4 total for 19 floors and you waited between 15-20 minutes for an elevator going down. It was an inconvenience. The room a/c only went to 70 degrees so just be prepared to be hot at night. I would have recommended this hotel for the location and price but it s not worth it to not leave with all your belongings. It s very upsetting and I want to warn other customers do NOT stay here.

The hotel staff were wonderful and provided great customer service. Our stay was overall pleasant. However, I was displeased that certain items meant to be in the room were missing. It took until day 4 before we got wash clothes and the room was more then obviously not thoroughly cleaned which one would've expected considering everything with COVID. The dishwasher was also broken which was a bummer. Other then day we had a great stay, easy beach access and fantastic views.

Room was nice especially the full kitchen saved us money on groceries. Room service was nice and always asked if we needed anything. Kids loved the pool and obviously the ocean.

Haven't cleaned our room in 3 days. Then they have the nerve to tell is we had a do not disturb sign on our door which we never had. In addition our toilet leaked the whole time. Garbage piling up and we had to basically beg for toilet paper.

We had a great week. Great view. Shout out to our housekeeper on the 4th floor Shereka who never let us down and to Eric Christy at the front desk who helped us get the room we needed.

We had an amazing stay at Bay View. Our condo was exactly like what was pictured, and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. You also can't beat the location. Only about a 15 min walk to get to the 14th St pier. I will definitely be returning!

Elevator was slow for off season ,an kept breaking down. The king beds were the same size as my queen at home.but the view was awesome, along with the pool ,spa , and happy hour.

Love coming but the last 3x they put us on the side where they just put up a new hotel. Ask to be placed on the other side i was told that's all they have just sad iam looking for a new place to stay

We actually just went to the Starbucks but it seems they are doing a massive addition and the resort looks really nice

The hotel it self was nice the roo.s where awesome and so was the view. But the employees where no help what so ever and where very rude. And the pool area was DISGUSTING.

we had the condo seen on the sea wow we liked it a lot ok there is no outdoor pool but the beach is very beautiful we are close to everything even on foot but quite far for the tranquility just a little negative it is the parking of the other side of the street it's a small walk but we haven't been on vacation and it's free and we go back there and the comments of the elevator it's true that it's a bit long but it's a detail

Its a great ocean front resort with alot of amenities. They have a real nice staff, the rooms are comfortable.. like a home away from home...

The rooms in this hotel are clean and the ocean front view is spectacular. For the price, it is worth it! I had the standard Ocean front double queen room and I was totally satisfied. I Would definitely book here again!!! Yes you have to park in a parking garage but it's literally across the street/one block over. It's really not that big of a deal. I feel like If you are willing to walk/tour the stores in the area then walking to/from the parking garage is nothing seriously. I did not have to pay for parking because it came with my reservation. So make sure when you book check to see if it comes with free parking...

Now, maybe my standards are too high, but this place isn't the nicest. That's not to say that it's awful, but it's not a great experience, either. The pool is decently nice and the staff are what you'd expect. Aside from the room itself, the hotel is enough for four stars. My issue here is the room. It feels dirty. There's black on the ceiling that I would assume is from cigarettes, the balcony has about ten pigeons living on it and their droppings are scattered about. Aside from the cigarette smoke smell and the pigeons that won't allow you onto their balcony, this has been a satisfactory experience.

Ever since childhood I've always stayed in this hotel. I've seen it undergo so much growth in the past few years! The service is professional and mature. Can't wait to go back!

Nice price, great location. The condos need a major upgrade. The picture are deceiving.

It's a great hotel, but the hallways are hot, everyday! The elevators extremely slow it will take you at least 5 to 30 minutes or more to get to the first floor from the top. Great pool area, don't like where children are jumping in when told not too. Especially they lazy river which is small. Housekeeping is slow never around I have to call front office to get a pillow and it took them two hours to bring it. Example from 4pm to 6pm. But great view of the water. And staff are nice not pushy they will explain the situation and help you get through it.

Check-in is slow but the place appears clean. There is a heated pool, lazy river, kids pool, and hot tub. Price is reasonable but pay attention to the fine print for the resort fees that isn't in the pricing.

This was a horrible experience the elevators were hot because the air was broke

It's a great place to stay, they had everything you can think of from dishes all the way to laundry detergent. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay!!!

Nice place at decent price. Could use more elevators and swimming pools. Parking deck is also a block away so loading and unloading isn't easy with their small entrance.

Pictures are completely deceiving! Checked in and checked out within 30 minutes. Dirty and outdated. I would have slept in a cab before I stayed at this hotel(not joking).

Do not stay here! Rooms are tiny with odor present. Side view room cost more with a construction site next door with all kinds of machine going all day long. Room cost 750.00 for 4 days could have stay somewhere else with a bigger room. Will not bring towels or wash cloths. Hair fund in tub. Everything is just old! Rooms are outdated. Fridge door handle broken. Pool is a joke! Front desk is rude when asking for services. I wish i could get my money back but they got me good! DO no stay here only nice for outside! Do not go by online pictures..Im so disappointed when I told them i was they only replied ok!

Overall hotel was great. Just beware of the housekeeping. They are super lazy. They knock on the door hoping you need nothing. They half clean your room and we was there 5 nights and only asked them to clean one night and they still had an issue with that. Housekeeping is my only issue. The location is great, the kids love the pools, rooms were nice, balcony was large. They need a fan or some air on the elevator and hallway. It was so hot in the elevator.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms was comfortable and clean. We loved it!

First room we got upon checking in was filthy. Black mold on the ceiling, food spilled on table and chips all over the floor, and when checked for bed bugs, the mattresses were more stain than not (not to mention hard as a rock). Staff was accommodating and got us a new room right away, which was better. Balcony had a fantastic view of the beach, however it was unusable 90% of the time due to the overwhelming smell of Marijuana coming from people smoking on other balconies. The elevators are best described by long waits, followed by breif moments of terror. On check in, only two elevators were working for the entire 19 story hotel. Took about half an hour to get one and when we did, it jumped and made the most godawful noises. I was always expecting to get sick in one of them. A/C in the room struggled to keep the temperature below 70 on most days and the bedroom was about ten degrees warmer than the rest of the suite because there was almost no air coming from the vent.

As far as value, I would say that I did not get enough out of the amenities/facilities to justify the cost of the room. No breakfast, linens changed every 3 days, mediocre value from the concierge all combine into something I would expect for a room at about half the price of what I paid.

This is definitely NOT a resort, just a regular hotel on the strip with a good view of the beach.

I can not in good coincidence recommend this hotel to anybody.

If you want a ocean view make you can see the ocean, they call the sides (north and south ) ocean views and they are not south side ok

I didn't stay at this place I dropped off my mother in-law there . The room was nice with the balcony and the beach is right there. They allow dogs on the beach after 5. It was a fast 45 min stay. We are considering going for a weekend

Very nice lots of things to do in here and very close to the beach where I'm assuming what do you want to be, sometimes you'll get distracted and probably pay in the resort where it's not too hot and it's not too cold.

When i made my reservations months ago i reserved a room facing the ocean. When I got my room it had a lovely view of the new hotel next door. Had very little decent sleep due to the fact that the fridge would randomly start making noises all night for a few minutes at a time. I was told maintenance would have a look. Still every night got old.....

My check-in was delayed until 5pm and I had to call the front desk to check on status as they never gave me a phone call as they promised.

I requested two pack and play units to be ready upon my arrival. Not only were these units not available, I was informed by the front desk that they had given them away. Even though I reserved them prior to my arrival and had called the front desk repeatedly to have them delivered after I had arrived.

The unit was infested with roaches and waterbugs. Disgusting!!! I didn't pay a roach motel rate so I would have expected better accommodations for my fee.

I made the front desk supervisor aware of the poor conditions and poor experience and she informed me, with a nasty attitude, that she would look into it. Of course, she never got back to me.

Pros: Excellent location, comfortable outside seating, beds were comfortable, easy access to beach, helpful friendly staff, clean and bugfree.

Cons: Place needs some serious updating throughout the property, sofa and chair in 1202 are very wornout, batteries dead in TV remote, light in bathroom either burntout or nonfunctioning, curtains functional but old, carpet old and lumpy, floor tiles very slippery when wet good idea to change out when remodeled.

Great value for an ocean front resort, huge suite for my large group. Pool area could be better but had all the necessities. Furniture was a little outdated. We still loved staying here and heard it was better than our friends resort close by. Staff was great and had awesome hospitality. Great location to everything.

The toilet in our room was clog up since we arrived. Called the front desk over 5 times. An they lied to us about someone coming to fix it. My husband also paid for a ocean front room an we got a room without a ocean view. Asked the ladies up front about our room an asked for the correct one. They said it s nothing they could do because we booked our room through booking.com. They were very rude an didn t seem to care. The ac in the room wouldn t cut off. The worst stay I ever experienced at Myrtle beach. We will never go back there to stay ever again.

Room was very nice, also in great location. Elevators are a little ridiculous, would not recommend if you don t like walking up stairs!

Only indoor pool lazy river is good for young children room was good not as clean as i would like, but im germaphopic

Stayed in the two bedroom oceanfront condo d last week and it was fantastic! Everything exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be staying here when we come back.

Rooms are Great and the employees were even better . Curtous, respectful and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this place e
