Check in was a breeze. The staff that I encountered at check in was great. The area outside where you pull in to unload was crowded, but hey its Myrtle Beach.

Stayed at Bayview for spring break, the location is so convenient. Stayed in an Ocean front room and it was a beautiful view. It was incredibly affordable as well. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget going on Spring break or just any trip in General

Wonderful as usual at all the Starbucks I have been to all over Continental US.

Not a bad location. The room is different from what the website shows, we had a king ocean front room and literally the room was tiny you open the door and bam there's your king bed! The closet door was off the hinge and the tv was behind the wall of the closet so you have to move the tv forward and at an angle to even see it..

All the maid service did for "cleaning" the room was give us new towels. They made the bed with the same sheetz we been sleeping on (I did a test to see if they changed the sheetz and they don't) makes me wonder if they ever do.. am I sleeping in the same bed as a person from last year -- as long as it looks clean guess it doesn't go? The room wasn't vaccumed nor was the bathroom cleaned either. Didn't get new shampoo either. Basic hotel.

Our neighbors have been complaining for days to management and even talked to corporate to complain that they have had dirty sheetz since they got there and hey had to go out to Walmart and buy their own, not to include the huge bug they found In their bed (their toddler found her one) how gross! I heard the conversation since the walls are so thin and the maids bang on each door for a while before entering, imagine wanting to sleep at 8am but can't because of the continuously knocking (I mean slamming into them I would think they could punch a hole in it) on the doors.

I probably wouldn't return to this hotel unless I had no other options and it was the cheapest by a long shot.

Really 2.5 stars. The towel bar fell off main bath wall 1st night. Crumbs found on kitchen counters. Only 1 pack of dishwasher detergent and 1 trash bag in kitchen. Not enough bath towels and ones under sink were thrown in sloppy. Bathtub and sinks didn't drain properly. Had to shower in 2-3" of water. Requested late 12pm checkout which was ok'd by front desk employee to be told later by another employee that they don't do late checkouts. After being argued with it was agreed again to give us late checkout only to have room key access shut off at 11am. We have stayed here in the past but this was not the good experience as in prior visits. With the many local choices we will look elsewhere for future visits. This visit felt more like the attitude was we should be grateful to be staying there instead of the resort being grateful for our business.

Nice place on the boardwalk. Outside kid fountains only half worked. One night all elevators but one was broken and not working. What a mess that was with all rooms sold out crowd. Overloading of the small elevators was the problem we were told. All in all we may return not a terrible place and conveniently located on boardwalk.

Overall great atmoshpere. Nice place to drink. Also nice place to just walk around and enjoy the scenery. The SkyWheel is also very nice to do.

My wife booked this hotel for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We were only here for 1 partial night and one full day. We arrived late Saturday night 10/3 to find that we had to park in a parking deck completely across the street. While checking in at the front desk the lady was very short and didn't seem to enthused about having to come out of the back room to check anyone in. We immediately noticed the thermostat didn't go below 68 degrees which we can live with but, would like it colder. We went out to get dinner and came back to our room at 72 degrees. We figured out that no matter what setting you put the thermostat on it would just go back and forth between hot air and cold air. Even with the thermostat off completely there was still intermittent hot air. This morning Sunday 10/4 we noticed a HUGE stain on the sheets on one of the beds. With Covid you'd like to think they wouldn't even use stained sheets even if they have been washed and sanitized properly. It's just a bad look. It's currently 2am on 10/5 which is our check out date and I'm laying here in a 73 degree room just waiting for the second my wife wakes up so we can leave. Anything longer than 1 full day here would be
absolutely intolerable. The best parts of this anniversary trip was every second weren't in the room.

Good and friendly staff members, the rooms are somewhat small and could be improved in size and outside view could be more modernized. Great oceanfront and view experiences you ll get at myrtle beach resorts

The rooms are nice the only downside is that you have to park a block away and where you check in is so congested and trying to find a luggage cart is vertally impossible

The room was nice and clean and the view was nice except fo the demolition of a previous hotel they had going on next door. But the staff was dishonest. I had roughly 80 in souvenirs and t shirts. The next day after housekeeping left (while we were at the beach) the stuff I had purchased had disappeared. After calling the front desk they said it was Probably mistaken for trash and thrown away and that they had someone going through the trash to try and find it. Needless to say, my stuff was never found and r returned. .who wants to stay somewhere where you have to worry if your stuff is going to go missing.....not me. NEVER AGAIN.

This was a nice resort. To my surprise I had 2 balconies a city view and ocean view. This place also had a washer and dryer in my suite which was the icing on the cake for me. Also, the beds were comfortable and room was so enjoyable that you can leave the bedroom and use your private entrance to the balcony. This was worth the .

The view was nice but...The iron, safe, toilet and tub was messed up. My new truck that I have had less then a week was hit in their parking garage. Tried to re book for one more night they wanted as much for 1 night as I had paid for 4 already. They say they aren't liable for damage to my truck. When I complained about all the things wrong they wouldn't extend my stay. Really?

Good value. Close to the boardwalk but could use some updates.

This is my second time staying at this resort. I'm tired of the people writing reviews like they stay at 5 star resorts and know what they're talking about. The elevators are fine and move quickly. The rooms are clean. The front desk is personable and nice. One of the cleaning staff asked how we were doing good and was friendly. And are kids, just like any other resort. So there might be some water in the lobby from the pool. This place is great for the price! I'll be back here again

I absolutely loved this resort! It has all the amenities you could ask for. Right on the beach and down the street from the boardwalk, pier, and Ripley's attractions. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative point is the parking garage is a block away.

Nice room for the price with a great view. Had an issue with some neighbors but was taken care of quickly. Great location. A little outdated but overall was a nice stay.

Beautiful location, security handled the irate couple very well outside, and grounds are beautiful.

Front desk employees were NOT nice!! Room keys never worked and guy that came to let us in had a terrible attitude and said the key seemed to be working just fine but it was NOT!! The toilet stopped up several times and had to be plunged every time. That was extremely gross! Just not a pleasurable experience at all. I don t recommend staying here!!

Was not totally HAPPY. The AC did not work properly. A water sprinkler malfunction in our room. And room service was not good . Had to call and ask for towels.

One of my favorite hotels at the beach. Great service and love the views and pools!

Great location to shopping, entertainment and food. Bad was we saw roaches in room, very loud in sleeping area, could hear doors slamming, vacuums running and people talking through wall. The room was large and great ammenities. We tried sleeping on pull out sofa in living room the first night was great, but being older our backs were killing the second night, but it was much quiter to sleep.

First week opening back up MB after COVID and the circumstances were completely unusual. The hotel was clean and looked nice, but our situation went from bad to worse and we had to move to another hotel. A partial refund was given, which was the right thing to do.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, rooms were amazing. Everything was just perfect. Water pressure was nice, AC was great, the veiw out to the beach was marvelous. Thank you so much Bay View Resort for making my experience to Myrtle Beach even better.

We are very disappointed in the overall condo. It's is filthy with stains on furniture and floors. Sheets were not washed and had stains on them. We had to clean and Lysol whole condo. There is mold on ceiling everywhere in living room and kitchen. Balcony was littered with bird poop and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. There were very few dishes and utensils for cooking. There wasn't even a spatula. Beds were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. When walking to parking deck which is a block back we saw a lot of people just randomly standing on corners in groups. This was mostly on the weekend. It looked very shady. And the parking deck elevators did not work the whole time we were there. We were not notified or warned of this. We have stayed in a lot of different condos along Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach over the years and this was by far the worst. Stay away!

Great and nice looking hotel with secured private parking. Room is a bit small but for the price, its excellent. At the moment of the writing, the hotel is constructing a new addition so there's a lot of construction noise. The hotel is located directly on the beach.

I stayed two nights when I looked at the sheets on the bed and pillow cases they were dirty and looked like they were never changed as well as the pull out bed sheet was dirty.we had to wash them before we slept on them .the toilet wasn't clean either .I'm trying to understand what they house keepers do cause its definitely not cleaning .really disappointed for the price I paid will never stay here again

I would like to give 5 stars but there are some points that we did not like the place very nice, spacious but my family and I were 6 and they only put us a roll of paper for 3 days ok the very dirty folder I do not like those inconveniences I hope this It will change and so of course I return

A friend came to visit and got a room here, when they walked in the room was dirty and smelt different. But the staff did come and clean it.

Nice hotel but could use some more upkeep ripped carpet and no shower curtain. But absolutely gorgeous views

My favorite place ...big clean rooms ...washer and dyer ...staff was great always went beyound to help you ...i definitely will be coming back I love this hotel

This place is in a great location.. Layout of unit is good.. Furniture is very outdated and really needs to be revamped... Had to ask to have beds changed... Room service was not up to par...unit was not equipped with the necessities needed to cook with. We had to go and buy potato masher , kitchen scissors ,etc...
We have stayed in other places in Myrtle beach and we find they all need an update...
Will I stay here again?

Elevators were a joke. Took stairs several times with a heart monitor on! Lines to speak with guest services were terrible. Pool was overcrowded and small. Was locked out of room for 2 hrs in the middle of night because door broke. Barely compensated. Trash bins in hallway were disgusting and trash was overflowing, never emptied. Bed was nice.

Location was great, but as someone who works in hotel housekeeping I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms/hotel. Dried up snot on the side of my bed, food crumbs on the pull out matress which had no bed sheets on it, when I called to ask why their were no bed sheets they told me I had to come get the sheets and make the bed myself. stayed 6 nights and housekeeping showed up once. Nice view of the cheap motel across the road, saw multiple drug deals go down in our time staying there. Hallway trashes are overflowing everyday. Pool was small only 4ft deep, very crowded so didnt get to swim at all. 2 stars for the starbucks in the property.

Our annual adult vacation was just after the hurricane had come through. We called on Sunday to see how things were and we were informed by the hotel that everything was good, so we checked in Sunday evening. We discovered water in the floors of the rooms by the doors, we figured it was normal given the circumstances. On Tues we had a man come to our room and told us he was there to inspect the water damage. No one from the front desk or the hotel called to let us know that this was gonna be happening. The man then informed us that he was gonna have to put in fans and humidifiers to dry out the rooms which would cause them to reach about 90 degrees. My husband went down to the front desk to talk to a manager who said he would switch our rooms. We then had to move all of our stuff and settle in again, taking away from our vacation. Housekeeping definitely needs improving as we had to wash our own towels and take out the trash all week. We asked for more towels one day and he gave us 2 and said he would be back, well he never came back. We won't stay there again nor will we recommend it to anyone else.

Me and my family went here and had a great time. Very friendly people, rooms are clean and great views of beach has a boardwalk and skywheel is close by. Easy to walk around and have fun.

This is a great hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were nice. The only issue that my family had was the pull out sofa.... it really could use a new mattress. Overall we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Nice staff and hotel. Only 4 stars because I absolutely hated that they only have two elevators which caused a line and a long wait every time we were coming in and out.

Right on the beach and the boardwalk. Parking isn t great and the rooms are very dated. Location is safe before dark but locals say not to venture out alone after dark. Tiny room.

Bayview is very nice, the staff is helpful, and the view is breathtaking.

This place lace feels like a club at all hours of day/night. Management allows music to blare and smoking weed is not discouraged. Not a family resort at all. Save your money and go to another resort.

A Home away from home. All the amminities u need. Clean Spacious rooms, comfy beds storage, full kitchen, washer dryer sets inside room. TV/Cable n WiFi, pool beachfront access an boardwalk family activities or Single. Your Money will be well spent. Check it out for yourself.

Location and views were great. Other than that. Not impressed. Sheet on one bed had black stains like someone had worn their shoes in the bed. You have a thermostat in the room but no real control of the temp. We cut everything off and still had heat pumping into the room making very hard for us to sleep.

Beautiful Hotel! I Just Wish My Room Wasn't So Small and Elevators Needed Maintenance During My Stay On The 19th Floor.

My room was clean and set up with all i needed-- close to boardwalk if i wanted-- but far enough away when i wanted to relax. Many attractions within walking distance; perfect for first time traveler.

They refunded my card $89 for the inconvenience their excuse was the housekeeping staff decided to change to all new linens on that particular day..
Because of the 1 day refund I will change from 3stars to 4
Also the safe in our room never worked so we had to carry all of our cash on us at all times which was pretty inconvenient when taking in the attractions.

I use to highly recommend this hotel however we arrived earlier this time let them know we where here early(9am) they said they would call when our room was ready.. 3p is actual check in time. My room was still not ready. I did not recieve my key until 5p along with several( a dozen or so) other guests. Also elevator wait times are always slow 4 elevators for 19 floors but one is currently broke down which extends average wait times 15mins on average about 20 with only 3 elevators running.. I have been at this hotel every yr since 09.. I have never had such a rough go of it... The safe in our room isnt working I called down took 2.5 hrs for security to come up and say maintenance had to fix it they said they would send them up but they never came 6 days they didnt even try to fix safe.. I have to say I am very disappointed.

A bit aged and it is starting to show. The furniture in the rooms looks like it's stayed through several remodels. Elevator wait times are ridiculous. A full remodel is needed.

A nice family friendly resort. Close to 2nd av pier and right at boardwalk. Big kitchen.
