Great place to stay!!! Everything is clean and everyone is nice
Great place to stay!!! Everything is clean and everyone is nice
Great location but not worth the price. The furniture was outdated and old. The dresser drawer was off track and fell out. There was rust on the lamp in the living Room and the ceramic tile in the kitchen was cracked and coming off the wall.
Absolutely loved the Oceanview Condo! Definitely going back in the summer.
This is a nice place to visit very relaxing the staff is great I will visit every chance I get
I stayed here for my anniversary thinking that it was a really nice resort hotel. Because I wanted an oceanfront room, I was willing to pay a little bit more for the view. The room I stayed in was over priced and worn out. The carpet was loose, there was no door on the closet, and the furniture was banged up. I didn't know that I was staying in someone's private room, instead of a regular hotel room. I was charged luxury prices for what I viewed as budget accommodations. When I posted a poor review on Facebook, a manager reached out to me, but nothing she promised ever came to be. I'll NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to stay in Myrtle Beach.
Had some good times on the boardwalk. Some services at hotel were great and some not so much.
Great view. Nice apartment, really worth the cost. But had some smell and some bugs.
Was able to upgrade room for $20.00.
Room was nice and clean.
Front desk was awesome
Check-in was smooth
Overall stay was excellent.
Very nice, shiny and new. If you stay here, be aware that there are only 4 elevators, all in the same place. Packed elevators and a long wait for one is to be expected. And they don't have a service elevator, so the staff crowds them even more. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly. Overall we had a good stay and would return.
Well first off I shows up in my room and it's small, fridge door was broken, and it smelled like pee. Construction site and ocean is my view. Pool so small me and mine ain't even think about getting in. And the elevator got stuck several times.
Great place! Clean. Only thing I would say is find a way for the lobby by the elevators to not be so slippery
Is a very nice resort, easily accessible to the beach, centrally located to pier and downtown shopping
Average hotel. Long wait for the elevators. Small king rooms with minimal furniture. Great views, friendly staff, and awesome location. I would recommend valet for parking. You have to pay for it, but it is convenient...just not during peak times.
We really enjoyed our stay, our suite 509 A&B was very clean. It could have been equipped with better frying pans, ours had one warped t-fal with no non-stick left. Location was super convenient and staff were very friendly. Our family of 8 had plenty of room.
Great view from ocean side room. Room was on the small side but nice and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly
Do not reserve with expedia! All room service does is towels. Crappy front desk service after 12 hours of driving. Gave my room to someone else. Had to go through so much for 2 hours to get what i reserved. Never Again!
Should one decide to make reservations with this property be aware that no one will answer the phone if you press 1 for exsisting reservations, answer email or text messages to cancel. They apparently do not know who is an actual register guest as I received a text and an email regarding my stay and I never checked in as a guest of the resort. I was however able to reach Tammy, by pressing 5 for group sales, to resolve the issue of charges on my credit card. Tammy was very helpful and understanding. Thank you Tammy. You are the best. Note to reply please read what I said. I have not stayed at your resort nor do I ever intent to in the future. The reply I received makes it pretty clear that attention to potential guest is not a priority.
Great place. A little old but really comfy. Great customer service
The people at the front desk were nice, and the room was good
The room was ok I just liked the view nd it was close to the beach nd shops
Awesome deal on the room. Very good waterfront view.. only complaint was the checkout time. So many people trying to get out and not enough elevators.
Not a good value for the money. Central location in Myrtle Beach made it a very overcrowed environment, especially on Memorial Day weekend. Common areas of hotel needed a lot of cleaning work, especially in a Covid-19 environment. But staff were very nice and helpful...
The staff when we came was friendly and helpful, also explain with pandemic going on if we need towels or trash took out call front desk. The lady at front desk the next morning was not friendly or helpful when we went down to get Starbucks tickets, because we forgot to get or ask for them at check in. She did not give to us that was include in our room package; Mr.Lazenby room1001. The condo was clean and great view. As we where checking in, the front to park to unload was congested and we had to walk to parking. If you like to be in the middle of everything this is a great location.
This place is nice. But when u check in an want to get your stuff up 2 your room. There is no where 2 park. An cars r stuck out in street 2 get it. Not very convenient.
Went 2yrs ago with my bff and our children. Great fun long waits and elavator took forever. Fine outside of that.
At arrival they told us that we had an ocean view room... didnt know the difference between ocean front (which is what we wanted) and ocean view. Our room was very small and we had a side view of ocean. They told us to call Priceline because we wanted to switch rooms.. we had to wait over night and the customer service on both ends were horrible and such a hassle that we gave up decided to keep the room. Elevators were horrible! Wont be back to this place.. also, we seen needle junkies right down from the hotel doing drugs in broad daylight.
Beds are fine, but the couch n chairs are so uncomfortable! Having just 4 elevators for all the rooms is ridiculous. Toilet seat broken and kept running from the moment we arrived. Now, after March 1, you have to pay to park by the building(see pic), but free parking garage a block away. First night greeted by pigeons on the balcony....they were in no hurry to leave and didn't clean up their mess... DVD remote broken...Gets 4 stars only for being walking distance from Roma's Pizza...best on the strand...
The kind suite is very roomy and mostly clean. There's a Starbucks downstairs and it's on the boardwalk. The hallway though... It smells consistently of vomit or something foul. The elevators are slow. The pool smelled very strongly of chlorine. The lazy river is very small.
Third year in a row of staying here. Only complaint used to be the elevators, but that hasn't been an issue this year.
A good place close to central city and right in front of ocean. Rooms are quite small. Parking space is far from hotel. Crowded locality.
After reading many reviews I decided to take a chance on the Bay View Resort. I am glad I did. Even with the current construction taking place it was still a great stay. Very clean room. Check-in was very simple and quick. Staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend Bay View Resort and plan on coming back again soon.
The hotel is right on the beach. Ocean side rooms have a great view. Hotel staff very nice. Last min resevation reasonably priced.
My best resort to visit in Myrtle Beach....Had a queen suite with a city view and it was wonderful...the room was spacious clean and comfortable
Will probably be choosing a different summer hotel location next year. Couldn't enjoy my stay with the loud music and the constant smell of marijuana on the balcony couldn't have an enjoyable stay with my wife and children.
It is a good resort ....with ocean front room heated swimming pool and spa .dvd store
The only problem was with the elevators which was not functioning properly at that time...
Had a great experience, staff was great and friendly, room was nice , it's an older hotel but still nice and we had a wonderful 3 day stay with room right on the beach with ocean view , would definitely stay here again
WORST FAMILY VACATION! They pack there 19 floors with people and only have 4 elevators. We asked for the lowest floor possible and got the 16th floor. We were stuck on the 16th floor with a 2 yr old for over 35 mins. The only other way to get down would have been to take the stairs. What is the point of staying on the beach if you can't get to it?! On top of everything I have no voice and my son is so raspy. We have BLACK MOLD in our room. I will share pictures. It was so disappointing! We looked at pictures and we're so excited to be so let down. When I talked to the front desk about it in tears with half a voice they said they could credit us back $25 dollars. Please do yourself a favor and stay at a hotel on the boardwalk. This place is AWEFUL and doesn't care about there guests.
The room was clean and perfect for what we needed. Staff was friendly. They have free dvd rentals which is nice BUT they have no continental breakfast. The website says they do but NOPE. Wont be staying again for this reason. Otherwise it was very comfortable.
Trying to check out & catch an elevator is Hell. Weekends, be prepared for 20-60+ minutes just to catch an elevator. They told us 1 parking pass per room. Um, we have a 2 bedroom & 1 pass? Oh, I'm sorry, you can get 2 passes. Their parking is a block over. The check in parking area can be hectic. Great off season but summer, whew!
Me and my husband stayed 2 nights there and it was great! Front desk was wonderful and my room was very clean and the view was beautiful! Only thing was a little annoying was the elevator was a slow. But they are in process of building another one. All and All I had a great time and I will be staying there again!
Room was ok, but don't plan on any room to move around. Probably the smallest room I have ever rented.
Good parking garage, one and a half blocksblocks and hotel . Service at service desk is so so.
It's close to allot and things to do .Small rooms . Housekeeping is OK . Would not stay here when the season starts. Could use some inprovements. Allot of people in the pool without pool wrist bands.
Nice rooms, but they have 19 floors with 4 elevators. Everyone was trying to use elevators and check out, the wait for an elevator was 30 minutes!!! Also they had 1 entrance into the building because they had the other doors locked, and image families and lots of luggage coming in and leaving, it was ridiculous.
It was a beautiful view...that is probablymy favorite part of this stay!! We also loved having available so many of the conveniences of home! The staff are all really nice, but you have to request service if you want housekeeping to come in and take out trash or replace towels.
The kids loved access to a indoor pool when the beach was too chilly. And plenty to see and do within walking distance!
The beds are a bit uncomfortable, but I was able to compensate with some strategically placed pillows. And there was plenty of room to accommodate all 6 of us!
Good place for the price. Very polite and friendly staff.
none of the vending machines worked, elevator was nasty as it had piss on the wall and floor. room wasn't clean, found evidence of tobacco or something near bed and out on balcony. tv too small and terrible location from bed to try and watch. internet wasn't connecting and when I called about it the lady said they'd had problems all day. would have like to have know that before paying. room was worn, needs upgrades. shower had very little pressure. ice machine was broken. room temperature was to warm and I called front desk but nobody ever showed. didn't even sleep in bed because room had no air circulation so I left around 5am to get a place I know knocks it out of the park each time I stay. on a positive the staff are great.
It s on a very good location. Get out of room and straight to beach on backyard. The walkway path is very nice to stroll too. Rooms are big spacious and with all mentioned facilities. Only issue I faced was loud noise from the modified trucks making nuisance on street till midnight, since I got the room facing the street. If possible select beach facing room and life would be peaceful
Like staying in an apt. Really nice,I highly recommend you to stay.
Awesome hotel very secure and safe great view nice rooms very clean only issue was the elevator were slow as heck front desk so nice will definitely be staying again
Great place & view. Only problem is the elevators are slow In all great resort
Me and my woman love this place.. It's becoming a ritual for us.. Great rooms at great prices and service is wonderful.. Great view of the beach. It really freaking rocks
Oceanfront. Main lobby service excellent. Maid service needs improvement.
The hotel is very outdated. They need to do a total makeover. There is a pool, hot tub, and lazy river in the building, so that is a plus. However, it is far from the boardwalk, about half a mile. Good for large families, and the ocean front rooms have amazing views!
Though this particular time we did not stay, unfortunately we had pets with us due to evacuation, we we're visiting to check availability for future stay. Bay view is a pleasant place to stay on the beach. We have stayed many times. Great place for aweekend getaway with nice pool facility that is indoor.
My friend stayed here. Her room was small but was all she needed. It had a great view. The staff I had contact with were very friendly.
On the Boardwalk with great ocean front view. Beginning to show a little wear, but a great place.
Worst place i ever booked a room in any hotel at Myrtle Beach. I don't know what genius engineer created the layout for this hotel but it sucks! Way overpriced rooms. You spend half your vacation waiting on TWO elevators to get you back and forth to & from your room. Rooms smelled like cigarettes even though i booked a non smoking room. Every 5 minutes outside the hotel somebody was getting arrested with hollering and fighting all night. People down the hall decided they wanted to smoke marijuana in the hotel and the staff did nothing about it. My suggestion is if you must stay at Myrtle Beach find another hotel.
