Beware, you need to be a constant advocate for you...

Beware, you need to be a constant advocate for your family members care. My mom was just released from this place and it was the worst experience. No one talks to each other, the case managers call you shortly after arrival to talk about leaving when the patient is still unresponsive. Then they don't call you about discharge and think since your mom can speak one sentence she is coherent enough...Its all BS.
They are a factory mill and want you out ASAP and the doctors do not treat as an individual they treat pieces parts not the whole person. My mom left with a bed sore and 20 lbs lighter because they didn't turn her or made sure she got enough nutrition. they drop her food off and then she was left to fend for herself despite her inability to hold a spoon. I had to request PT because she hadn't left her bed in 5 days and it wasn't until I said something that people looked at her chart. Lastly, they do not look at rehabs and make sure they are sending patients to good facilities. They wanted to send my mother to reported abuse facilities. This place was so unprofessional and I don't trust my dog to go there let alone family members. OH and P.S. she was there for almost 2 weeks and never had a shower. P.S.S. if your automated review person even tells me to contact customer care don't bother, why should I go out of my way to email your customer care center....you should be reaching out to people not making them do it. Thats how customer service works.

Cannot imagine a worse experience in a hospital in America. Traumatic brain injury patient and family told time after time that there were "no doctors and someone would get to you soon Just be happy you aren't so critically injured that they come to you sooner!" Tee hee. like that was good news? The doctor will call you. Never happened. They ran CT scans and MRIs at 2, 3, 1, 5, AM every time. Patient calls and no one comes. Wife begs nurse to call her when doctor returns so she can speak with him. Doctor never returns. Then wife is about to die after four days of no sleep and drives an hour to friend's house, so THEN, doctor finally shows up to tell a BRAIN INJURED PATIENT everything but never calls wife. Only it wasn't everything. No, now you need a neurologist. Now you need a trauma team. Now you need to be moved to a nasty, crowded, disgusting old room where the patient next to you has had his leg amputated and is wailing in agony for hours. AS LONG AS YOUR LOVED ONE IS STILL BREATHING, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

you are in need of caring and compassionate care do not come to this hospital. I have been here over a dozen times because they are supposed to be the leading hospital for Sickle Cell Anemia but most of the people who work here aren't even familiar with the disease. You are more likely to find rude, aggressive uninformed people with a God complex who make you feel hopeless at the end of the day. The nurses are some of the only sane people you will meet and most of them are contracted so don't expect that same experience next time you come. I was just discharged from a 17 day stay and the case manager , Maria, who made my ride home threatened to call security on me if I didn't wait downstairs. I have never in my life been threatened for something so asinine. She didn't even come to the room my nurse called her with my correct information. I was made to wait for close to an hour in the cold when no one has ever had a problem with me waiting in my room. If you have the option to go somewhere else, anywhere else, take it seriously.

If I could rate this hospital with 0 stars I would but I don't have that option. Recently I took a good friend here for swelling in his face, after they took some x rays; the doctor came in and told my friend he had a broken jaw and needed surgery immediately! My friend told them he didn't want to do it that day. The doctor then got a little rude, but my friend assured him he would be back; he just needed a day to make arrangements for a pet sitter and such. I took my friend back the following day, once in the emergency room, he went outside to have a cigarette; when trying to go back in he was told he would have to register as a new patient, then a nurse and two security guards came up to him and informed him they weren't going.to deal with him and he could leave.
The following day I took my friend to Maricopa County hospital, once admitted to the ER they took a cat scan and some x rays and informed my friend his jaw was not broke, he did have an absethed tooth and wrote him out a referral to a dentist and some prescriptions. Moral of this story always get a second opinion, and stay far away from this hospital!!

We had to take my mother here because of bleeding that wouldn t stop after a dental surgery. The staff would tell her that they would give her medicine or they would be right back but they would never return the staff seemed visibly annoyed when ever she asked for help they don t even respond to the call for nurse button. We were constantly shown these patterns of disrespect and it was disgusting I would give 0/5 if I could

If I could rate this hospital 0 star I would. Let me explain what happened here. After coming in through the ER and waiting for a long time we were finally seen, the ER doctor was nice yes, we ordered X-rays and that an orthopedic surgeon should look at the X-rays he also ordered a Neurologist doctor to see me and go over the results from the previous hospital.
I was admitted as an Outpatient, in more than 24 hours no Neurologist or orthopedic came to see me. The doctor in the Outpatient ward an Indian doctor or such was the rudest ever. As I was admitted he first refused to give me my pain meds that I get prescribed by my Pain management doctor because this doctor believed I am not in pain. I was without any pain medicine for over 10 hours, I was in extreme pain and going into withdrawal.
He also refused to let an orthopedic surgeon look at my X-rays because he believed nothing is wrong there. He also admitted that the Neurologist can evaluate the X-rays the same way an orthopedic can. (Which isn t true). I am born with hip dysplasia and have had 2 hip operations already.
He refused to let me talk to any of those doctors based on I saw her walk on crutches her service dog . She is in no pain. He also admitted that I am being discharged because I am in no need of a doctor or anything urged because nothing is urgent unless I am dying.
The head nurse at time of discharge told us that the Neurologist now refuses to see me, why? Because the test results from another hospital is all he needed to see to be able to determine that I am not sick.
This is with having the CK value being extremely higher than normal - which means that you either have or have had muscle damage which would explain why I cant walk for more than 10min - but apparently I am healthy and nothing is wrong with me.
I was discharged without being seen by a Doctor, except for the Indian doctor who believes he can refuse me pain meds, who believes nothing is wrong with me as he is an expert on everything .
When I asked to speak to a doctor such as a Neurologist as well as Orthopedic I was told to leave and they had security come and force me to leave. (Keep in mind that I am a female who weights 120lbs, soaking wet).
The question is why would you call security when the only thing I asked for is to talk to a doctor of knowledge.
Feel free to contact us via phone. It s on file

I just left after waiting 9 hours in the ER to have someone look at my ribs. They were quick to get me back to do an xray to make sure they get that bill. No follow up to let me know the results of the xray or help with the pain. Go to another ER!!!

Had a life saving experience.

Had a life saving experience.
Dr. Loli saved my life.
Hee gave me a chance at a new life.
He taught me I'm worth more then I have been showed in my past.
He is the best surgeon in that hospital.
And the kindest man I have ever met.
Thank you

The nursing staff was so great but the doctors not so much. Communication between the nurses was not always the greatest and every time one nurse ended her shift it seemed like they would not tell the next nurse all the necessary information. However, they were all still very accommodating and helpful.

I went to the hospital today and had a little experience And was over charged at the food department on accident and they wanted me to have a little wait for about 15 minutes and the person at one of the cashiers her Name is Iesha great wonderful person here that works in the food department was very nice and took it in consideration and paid out her pocket to she is such a nice great person. Banner made a good choice to hire someone like her their should be more people like her.

I drove myself to the emergency room, I was taken in immediately, my blood was too thin due to medication that was not to be taken together,The staff pretty much saved my life.all hands on Deck! After being in there for a month, I was released and although my truck was towed due to Covid hitting at the same time, it was moved to another parking lot, not impounded, the security officer showed us exactly where it was moved to. 8 different specialist doctor's working together along with nurses and staffed saved my life. I wouldn't be here today if not for them.

My son was brought in after another hospital failed to properly check him after a serious car accident. The doctors and nurses are great, I'm so relieved that my son got the care he needed.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. Had shoulder surgery on May 3, 2017. Orthopedic surgeon was awesome. However, the anesthesiologist was extremely rude. When I told her that I am allergic to a certain type of anethesia, she said I had to have it. When I woke up from the surgery, I was vomitting, and had my heart stop twice in the operating room. Do not EVER email the person who responds to these reviews! I don't think this person is real!

terrible experience. Had an MRI appointment at 5:00pm and i didnt get done till just now an its 11:00pm. It took the six hours to get me through a scheduled MRI. Not to mention the staff gave me every bit of sass along the way. Complete assholes working in registration.

I was admitted to the 9A floor for fever of unknown origins lasting 2 weeks. The nurses there that took care of me (Alice, Stephanie, student RN Lexi, Jason, Taylor and Laura) were all exceptional. Especially Alice and Stephanie. The specialist (nephrology department) were also very thorough with me. One complaint I have is the food i just got pretty tired of having oatmeal every morning.. Plus the tv set up is pretty high where my neck was always in a upright position. Perhaps they should have personal tv beds. I had to keep the volume down due my roommate being pretty old and sleeping a lot. Thanks again to every RN, CNA, Physicians and Speciality Doctors for taking good care of me. I've been discharged with a good bill of health again.

My wife had both of our kids here at this hospital it s the best hospital in Arizona Staff is the best made my wife felt like family they took care of my baby on time They came every hour to check my wife and check my kid constantly giving her pain meds and the nurses were very friendly I recommend this hospital to anyone worth every penny They are very generous people and switching between shifts we noticed that they spoke to each other to make sure they got the treatment and they were communicating to us every time they were going to give wife her medication or check the baby

I m a 29 year old that broke her hip this past Sunday. The staff took such great care of me on the 7th floor. Mackenzie, Pat, Johanna, Judy were the four I remember the most, but there was also Rich, and Sanda, but I know there were others that helped as well (surgeons, doctors, Nurses, admissions etc) and I wish I knew their names. I can t express my gratitude enough for their help through everything. They even helped me with some needed items for recovery that my insurance wouldn t cover. While I never wish to go through the experience of breaking my hip again, if Something like that were to happen again I would go back to Banner for care without a doubt. Thank you all so much for everything you do

The infusion nurses are amazing! All of the nurses in the infusion center work together and help each other. Nurse Abby stood out to me though. She was professional, compassionate, attentive and friendly. She made my visit comfortable. Thank you. :)

My Morher was on the 9th floor of the older portion of the hospital for 4 nights. The Medical Staff and Physicians were Amazing. But in particular my Family and would like to acknowledge Juvy, Barb(RN's) & Garrett (CNA). The love, compassion and support that was shown from them to us during this difficult time will be forever appreciated. God bless you all. Sincerely, Donna

Went to ER for severe neck pain to the point I could barely walk. I had insurance through my work so I thought at least some of it would be covered. They billed it as a non emergency so I have to come up with the entire 3 grand myself and I was only there 2 hours. Worst part is I was sent there after the urgent care I went to referred me there because they didnt do x rays at that location. I never even intended going to the ER, but was forced.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! my mom had chest pains, and gallbladder pain. They did not give her no pain meds only had her in the room waiting. I kept telling the nurses my mom was in pain and none of them looked at me in the eye or asked what room she was in. I will never ever go back there again. WORST nurses

Nurses are suppost to be aware of any allergys expecially if I was to take a bite ...worst communications between them worst experience will not go back and now im ending up at another hospital Dr Angel chu-peterson np don't know what they are doing

DANGEROUS & FIRE HAZARDOUS.

DANGEROUS & FIRE HAZARDOUS.
The Call buttons don't work. Or have been unplugged on disabled patients. Equipment is faulty with Scotch tape on the outlets. The safety locks for patients belongings are broken. The employees think it's funny to trick or play games on the mentally confused. The website is false. They do not allow support advocate to be with patients. Banner is not being held accountable for the code violations of fire and safety. Go to Scottsdale Honor Health care hospital. Or Phoenix Children's hospital.

Been in a waiting room at the er for over 6 hours already. Still haven't been seen. This place is a joke.

Edit: add another hour.
Edit 2: another hour. 8 hours and still in a waiting room. You will probably end up succumbing to you injuries/illness before getting your emergency treated here. Go elsewhere.

Best experience. I went in Tuesday for emergency tongue surgery for cancer. The nurses and doctors were amazing. Dani and Katie were awesome nurses. I would definitely come back to this hospital anytime. I was just released this morning. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

They took great care of my dad here unlike at county hospital where they didn t even address the issue. They admitted my dad into the hospital and treated him nicely. Way better hospital than county. Thank you!

I woke one morning suddenly paralyzed and was rushed to the ER. The only tests they did, was urine, blood, reflexes and they scrapped the bottom of my feet. No brain scans or anything like that. After 12 hours in the ER I was finally able to move the upper half of my body. Then the fifth doctor of the day comes in and tells me that I'm going to be admitted and receive physical therapy. After an hour, yet another doctor comes in and says, "No one will take you. It's all in your head. You're being released." I STILL couldn't move my legs but they didn't care.

Disappointing experience. An ER visit that was totally unproductive. Online access to results or phone support to access them was even more worse. Billing was almost prompt and instant

Staff is rude, from the employees in the lobby where you have to check in to about half of the nurses we had. (And that s a lot because wenust about never had the same nurse twice). I have never felt so mistreated and looked down upon. Show some compassion and support instead of judgement. The best experience I had was with Natalie, you are absolutely amazing and they need more nurse like you!

Loved our experience in the Neuro ICU. Excellent, attentive staff, great care, and an overall great experience considering the circumstances that brought us there. My husband was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. Dr. Menendez and the NeuroSurg team eliminatated all other options before performing brain surgery. We are grateful they were willing to do many tests to possibly eliminate brain surgery. Unfortunately all the other tests they performed were negative so brain surgery was the best option for my husband. The surgery went very well and we couldn t be more pleased with the results. Excellent hospital!

I just want to make a suggestion here, next time you have a suicidal person sitting in your waiting room for over 5 hours, it would be great to get them seen sooner than before they decide to leave. All you do is prove to them what it is their mind has already told them no one cares.

Overcharged $1,900 for an MRI. They made me pay up front, $2,600, and my Explanation of Benefits said it was only $700. They make you pay upfront, so I couldn t get my MRI until I coughed up the money. Took them over a month to get my $1,900 back to me.

Just found another overcharge for a hospital visit, this time $166. They won t give my money back to me until they get the EOB on their end. Both of these happened within months of each other.

Recently spoke to a nurse and a pharmacist who experienced thousands of dollars of billing errors, also with Banner.

Not sure if these guys are running a scam or are really this reckless with the patients livelihood.

The Heart Failure Unit was totally designed for HF patients. I was checked on and cared for more than a regular ward. Dietitians and PT/OT, Social Workers all were directed for Heart Failure.

This was a five star review that I'm changing to a zero star because this hospital's billing Dept refuses to address my problem after I have called and emailed them. DO NOT HAVE PROCEDURES DONE IN THIS HOSPITAL! I WAS TOLD BY INSIDERS AND OR NURSES THAT THEY DO NOT PROPERLY STERILIZE THEIR TOOLS PRIOR TO SURGERIES! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND I'M PLANNING ON SUING THEM FOR ASSIGNING AN ANESTHESIOLOGIST THAT WAS NOT EVEN IN NETWORK WITH MY PLAN.

I was sent there from Gila River to get a CAT scan. They never did any tests. After over eight hours they sent me home. My primary doctor couldn't believe they released me. She sent me back to a different ER after she found a kidney stone. Because I said I was in pain they treated me like a drug addict and dismissed doing any tests that would have shown that I had a kidney stone. I will be contacting an attorney.

Most horrible experience ever. Drove 2 hours to have a nurse degrade my daughter beyond anything I have ever heard in my life . She should not have a job. Not here or anywhere....will be contacting an attorney immediately! The hospital should be more particular about who they hire.

The security guard,s are neanderthals. And as for the medical staff I was just "discharged" with pneumonia. I wouldn't let my dog have puppies in the dump..You would think that with the amount of money put into the complex they could hire caring staff that actually became Drs n nurse's with the intention of actually helping patients.

One of the absolute worst experiences of my Life. Nurse was cold as ice. Doctor had zero bed-side manner. Tech who put stitches in my lip laughed and giggled and joked while he was threading, including administering the anesthetic. Then to boot, the staff kicked me out at three in the morning knowing they were putting me out in the street at 3:00 am. And no ride arranged. With about five security guys and a K9 officer from PHX PD.

My wife spent 30 minutes cleaning our daughter's hospital bathroom after she noticed black nastiness under the toilet lid by the hinges and rim of the toilet. 1 star for the environmental services but 5 stars for the nurses and quality of care.

Worst experience by far. Went in with my mother who was having extremely bad back pain on one side of her back. We patiently waited and when we finally got called in the nurse guy was extremely rude and was saying extremely insensitive remarks like "this night is too crazy for stuff like this", shaking his head, when my mom was explaining her situation. Extremely dissapointed , waste of time, awful service WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Beware of the employee's that work there! They stole a brand new unopened pack of cigarettes and a cell phone charger and $5.00 which was in my wallet! They are THIEFS! Even if they tell you " cigarettes aren't allowed here" they have absolutely no legal right to take MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS!

The worst hospital Ive ever been to. The doctor made me feel really stupid and invalid. He was sarcastic and would not listen to what I was telling him, trying to rush me away. I left feeling no better than I came in, with no solution to my problem.

My mother just had serious spinal surgery done at this sorry excuse for a hospital. The staff was incompetent, lazy and uncaring as to her needs. When I arrived to see her she was shivering and sweating due to high levels of pain and lack of attention from the nurses. I voiced my concern and was shined by each and every employee I encountered. If you value your health and expect quality care this is not the hospital for you or your loved ones.

I have never seen a hospital so caring . The nursing staff in ICU is very helpful and informative. I give them 5 stars I want to say that Iam very grateful for there professional care of my wife Cheryl . As Iam writing this they are still caring for my wife. Thanks for all you are doing.

I have had several bad experiences with banner hos...

I have had several bad experiences with banner hospitals, especially banner desert and my experience today solidified my opinion of them. dr ordered ct for my daughter and had to call scheduling 3x to get it scheduled. then they told us to be there 2 hrs early to drink contrast, npo after 10am. get there and the reg staff sat talking to each other while multiple patients waiting to check in. had to ask them 3 times about checking in and finally I went up and said my daughter was told to drink contrast 2 hrs before her 12:30 scan and its now 11:20. the reg person looked at me and said Oh, you got here at 10:30? um yes...we signed in and have been sitting here waiting. then called back to ct to find out we did NOT need to be there 2 hrs or npo...no oral contrast for her type of scan. I called scheduling and reamed them a new one and was told by supervisor they would look into it. when I told her the ct tech told me they do that all the time she said oh really? we never get any complaints. the reg staff was confused and asked questions over and over again that made you go What? then she yelled across the waiting room asking where my daughter was born. Even my teenage daughter commented, Mom, I could do their job better. Those people are not very smart. Only positive was the ct tech...he got her in early as an apology and was very courteous, apologetic and helpful. this place is a mess! We got to Dignity hospitals...much better!

If you are looking for a Sickle Cell Clinic and st...

If you are looking for a Sickle Cell Clinic and stumble upon this place, I am moved to express my condolences before you become a patient. The Sickle Cell Clinic would be a fantastic place if it was run by someone different. This is really the only hospital in AZ that's just for adults with SCD, and they treated us horribly. Other patients there including myself were kicked out of the clinic without a word from Julie Overbey. She just had her assistant give us a vague dismissal letter and posed as if we didn't exist for the final month we were allowed to continue treatment.

Julie Overbey is one of the most childesh, unprofessional, and manipulative nurse practitioners I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Her entire staff only work to protect themselves and do not have the patients well-being in mind.

We are forced to do ridiculous things in order to stay in the program. In order to be treated at all she has forced us to take counseling without our consent and if we refuse has threatened us to cease writing our prescriptions. I have the letter to prove this and so do the rest of the patients who find this obsurd. If you disobey her "rules" she pulls you into a meeting room with two other women to interrogate you. But really, it's not so you can defend yourself, it's so she can manipulate your words and call you a liar the entire time.

I don't know how she still has her job. She's awful. She really is. She stands by Banner's joke of an ER. I was forced to frequent this ER per her rules to stay in the program. A 10hr or more wait, EVERY time. An unprofessional, apathetic, and rude staff. Besides the cafeteria food, stay away from Banner Good Samaritan. Unless you're okay with being a puppet I would advise you not even to entertain this hospital. Anyone who's a patient deserves better than to be treated the way the treat us.

I would love to give a better review as I am having surgery at your facility tomorrow, but no nurse has called me with my surgery time tomorrow. I seriously hope that this isn't what I should expect tomorrow.

I called the facility and as soon as I got to the correct department, the nurse was very upset I had not been contacted. Quote on Quote "a point she was going to address with staff and surgeon." She also provided the info I needed.

As you can see below the facility has also contacted me ..
They truly strive to make things right for their patients.
Heres hoping today was just a hiccup and tomorrow goes smoothly.

I'm getting ready to check into emergency room.. will leave brand new review on that experience. Both here and on Yelp.
Urgent care facility sent me here, after discovering I have an infection in my hip from surgery.. let's see how this goes.

My friend had a cervical fusion here. She was getting better 6 hrs after surgery. The only issue is she wanted a mild shake and the nurses said there were non available. What's that? Anyway, the staff was good.

My primary care Dr. sent me here for rabies treatment because I got bitten by a coyote. I had to come back 3 more times for follow-up shots. My finger was injected with rabies serum with 5 shots in the same place. I get that this was part of the treatment protocol, but the doctor wouldn't bandage it after the shots even though I asked for a bandaid, and I had to ask the nurse for a bandaid for my bleeding finger. Then the nurse left without bandaging it. It was only a small injury, but would it have hurt for them to give me a bandaid? The nurses were very attentive, and seemed concerned about getting my shot over with as quickly as possible during the return visit which was nice. They told me that the best time to come was between 4 - 8 am in the morning because everyone gets up and then goes to the ER in the morning. One of the things that did concern me was that one of the male nurses carried a folding knife in the pants pocket of his scrubs. I wondered why he would need one in an ER?

I've been in the ER and observation in last couple of days, just to be told that nothing can be done for me. I was advised to make an outpatient appointment. I would like to know what can be done for me outpatient that couldn't be done in observation? I have two VP shunts and have had the same headache off and on since the most recent one was placed last year. I've been prescribed different pain medication for it, but I feel it's only a temporary solution. I'm truly disappointed in the level of care regarding this issue.

My mother was just in the Cardiac ICU for almost 2 weeks. I cannot speak highly enough about care she received there. She was treated with professionalism, kindness, dignity and genuine concern. She and we were very lucky to have them care for her.

My husband has been at Banner University Hospital ...

My husband has been at Banner University Hospital for the last 3 weeks he had open heart surgery done there 5 weeks ago two weeks after the surgery his incision became infected. They open up is just cleaned it out and rinsed it out and they ended up going back again five times in 7 days because they couldn't get the infection out. If there had been one more complication we were changing hospitals. We had a very traumatic time at this Hospital and we will not go back. If for some reason he gets taken back there we will move him. Every surgery that he's had at Banner since June has had complicationsons. He was hit by a truck in June and has had three surgeries from that. One of which he had a heart attack two days later because they gave him too much anesthetic. When he had the heart attack he fell on his eye and had to have surgery done on it again. I would not recommend this hospital to anybody I don't like the way they treat their patients and I don't like the way they do things there.

The labor and delivery / postpartum care here is amazing. Abby (sp?) in L&D went above and beyond for me. At one point I was crying because nothing was happening yet and I felt discouraged. She came in because she saw my heart rate rising. She was so kind and supportive with almost not even having to say anything. Throughout my entire delivery she was just beyond! I ll never forget how well she treated me! Shannon in our postpartum room was so helpful and knowledgeable and honestly so caring! She felt so motherly and for my first baby I don t think I could have found anyone to be so lovely! Definitely delivering here for my next.

My first delivery here was absolutely relaxing & great! Clean hospital, excellent staff! Everyone made it easy & made sure I was okay & happy. They taught my husband & I everything for being a new parents. Every nurse that came in felt like my best friend, they were so sincere. Really wished I would've had my baby #2 here...

Filthy! I hate that my mom has to be STUCK here. Dirty gloves ALL over the "ward" she was on, also dirty gloves and trash by the nurse station on the floor as several people walked by and ignored all of the trash. This wasnt just gloves, but syringe lids, wrappers, bandages etc. and not discarded by a trash can either literally this was just thrown on the floor at 11pm at night in her NEW room that she shared and that she just was put in SO why wasnt it cleaned??? Her nurse dropped her meds on the filthy floor as she herself scrambled to retrieve it and not once washed her hands as she retrieves another pill and administers her dose to her. Disgusting and documented via recording this scum. Perfect breeding ground for myrsa i.e. anything else as a result of extremely poor housekeeping and staff hygiene. Its bad enough she we have to worry about her health conditions as is but absolutely horrified that she is in worse conditions of contracting a whole new slew of problems. 2nd update*** Jan 8th she just had her dinner delivered in the middle of them changing her room mate at left a pile of feces right by my mothers food tray. I have video and I suppose lucky not so lucky I cant upload them these floors are filthier then when she arrived and they have to share a trash can for all the IV's and bandages from ger room mate and then out ut back on my mothers side of the room. Please be advised I wish I was exaggerating but this is the sad disgusting truth so help me god.

Need Navajo interpreters, very rude, no courtesy calls, waiting in my hot car for an hour and half thinking my Mom is coming down from her visit. Short staffed and very unprofessional care at Banner.

I am currently still here for epilepsy monitoring and my stay is great. My first night was rough on my own personal point but STAFF IS FANTASTIC. They have been there every step of the way. Food isn't terrible and my view is really nice. I'm actually enjoying getting better even though I'm sick. Thank you staff for helping me with this life changing event.

Dr Payne the stroke neurologist, Amy the speech therapist, and the nurses from 6b who are beautiful inside and out were wonderful. Dr Lee-Iannotti's arrogant bedside manner and lack of communication skills made the efforts to help my dad very upsetting and stressful. The fact that my dad waited for 3 days for his mri under her care was unacceptable (because she decided it was alcohol withdrawal when it in fact was a stroke ) and insulting to my father and I. Mixed feelings, although the nurse manager and patient advocate took my concerns very seriously, so that did help the overall outcome and feelings of our one week stay there.

I just picked up my wife from the ER with her IV in one arm and her purse and Discharge papers in the other. On top of that the treating nurse didnt do an initial assessment when she was taken back for treatment. I understand this is a Magnet Hospital and a small group may not reflect on the whole. Unfortunately it truly makes it hard to believe I can trust when clearly they dont take the time to make sure the basic standards of care weren't met on our first visit here.
On the final note. She was told she just needed to sign discharge paperwork. After about 20 minutes another nurse comes in and tells her there is an issue printing, after another 20 I suggest we just leave because obviously they forgot about us. This is when a nurse immediately outside our door stops my wife, sifts through some papers and pulled the page she needed to sign. Almost as if to give the final F,"*k he could give to show that they truly dont care about their patients or priority. Ultimately with all that extra time they still failed to REMOVE THE IV FROM HER ARM!!!!!!

BY FAR THE WORST NURSE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED ! Nurse Mikelle was completely rude , told us misinformation multiple times and when I had brought up what she said before hand she said thats not what she had said . Even though several of us called her on it . Comepletely unfriendly never saw her smile , she made me and my mother leave the room several times even though we DID NOT HAVE TO . She made me feel so uncomfortable , I never write reviews But this hopital had the worst staff there were a few that were friendly but that was only in passing every person I had to speak with was very un welcoming . Why work in a field where you have to make people feel comfortable and safe yet you are so unkind and un loving . Get a new job where peoples lives arent in your hands .

Don t ever go to the ER. My mom broke her arm and got to the hospital 6 am and it is 9 pm and still here They won t perform surgery on her till tomorrow after being in the worst pain
The hospital is dirty and seems like everyone here is just doing practice
They didn t get us a room for 9 hours
We could not talk to a doctor while in the ER
Or a surgeon
Thinking about moving my mom out of here as soon as possible
Almost requested a voluntary discharge to transfer her while in the ER

This place is terrible. My insurance covers ER visits. I went in and payed my deductible, then they charged me almost 500 dollars more just for the doctor. The doctor who only saw me for like 2 minutes and said nothing is wrong there is nothing we can do for you, and sending me home to continue having the same problem I went in with. Complete rip off it is going to the doctors office. No wonder so many parents want their children to be doctors, they want to get rich from ripping people off.
