I have been with bell for years and was looking to switch to new plan. I emailed them about plans and got an email at 11am about deals with a corporate plan. After waking up from my midnight shift I called to join and was told I can't join because 2 hours later they changed the price point going up $400. Zero loyalty just people punching the clock. Will be telling people not to look here

False Advertisement by BAKA Mobile on their website!!
I ordered a new phone from Baka and received it yesterday and it was very upsetting to see that the product advertised on their website as part of the package (Samsung Type C Stereo Headset) was missing from the box. I called them today morning and reported the missing item to which the assistant manager told me that it s the manufacturing s fault and not theirs and that there is nothing he could do except for me to return the item.
I advised him that I love the phone and will keep it but the advertisement on the website is FALSE and I feel cheated that you promised me something and did not delivery it and now you are blaming the manufacture. He then told me that there is nothing I can do any further as I have already signed the Terms and Conditions. The assistant manager then offered me a refund of $20 and when I did not accept it he disrespectfully said What do you want me to do give you the phone for free. I then asked to escalate this further and the Manager came on the phone and repeated the same dialogue again and said rudely Return the phone or take $20 refund or if you decide to go legal just know that you have signed the terms and conditions.
This was my WORST interaction with Baka Mobile and they should own their mistake instead of threatening their customers about terms and conditions and offering them alms of $20.

I'm happy with Baka's offers and service. Just one recommendation...if a phone is no longer in stock please mark it as UNAVAILABLE or remove it from the website. This way it doesn't cause unnecessary delays when ordering.

I wanted to order the Google Pixel phone. Nothing was mentioned when I placed my order online. Next day I was told it was on back order. When I contacted customer service they told me it's no longer in stock. Could've saved me a lot of time by listing it as OUT OF STOCK.

Also unhappy b/c Baka uses Purolator for delivery. They made a mess of my delivery and delayed it by 2 days. On top of that they would not let my son pick-up the phone from their retail location (he lives at my home), saying the recipient of the phone has to come pick it up (Bell has requested this stipulation). So they will give it to him at home but not at the retail store when he shows ID? Terrible.

So what should have taken 2-3 days to complete has now taken over 1 week. Now I have to contact Bell to port my number. [Please hold...]

Always good, knowledgeable, personal service. I've bought my last three phones here, and everytime I get good advice on what I need for a device.

Bell in general has been a lot better than Rogers and Telus (I've been with all three) when it comes to service. Wireless coverage is a different story.

Both my wife and I have been a long time customers of Baka. Multiple phones and 2 and 3 year contracts over the years. I have been out of contract for about 1.5 years, and have been looking to upgrade to the Iphone 8 64gb. Last week their site had advertised the phone at $199.99 but not in the colour i wanted. I called in to check stock and was told they would be back in stock within the week and to keep checking the website. Yesterday I check the website and they're finally in stock! Great right? Actually not so great. They have up'd the price to $429.99. Had i been informed that this was a possibility (or that price was a limited time etc) last week i would have chosen the other less preferred colour and saved $230.00. I contacted customer service and was told that the prices are what they are and to see Baka.ca for current pricing. Not a Happy Customer!

Love the phone so far! Upgraded my previous iphone 7 and the whole process was quick and seamless. I love the size and colour and really like the facial recognition compared to the finger print. Slowly getting used to the slide home feature instead of the no home button.

I bought a phone. So far so good. Calls on my phone are choppy though. Cut in and out. Hard to understand people I call. They have to call me back to get a clear line. Baka offered a new sim card. We'll see if that works. Customer service seems good.

A year ago I had to get my phone Note 4 fixed through Bell. They sent me to this place. All that needed to be done was a screen replacement. They did an absolutely awful job and did not use genuine Samsung products. After a year the screen has burnt in keyboard on it which looks absolutely awful when the background is white. Secondly they did such a poor job gluing the screen that over time a bunch of dust got between the screen and the front camera, making the latter useless. If you can avoid this place please do, if not, make sure that they use genuine products on your device, otherwise it will be ruined.

Customer in front of me had booked an appointment but was still waiting after half an hour. I decided to leave and do it online or over the phone as I did not have an extra hour free.

I have been with Baka for 15 years and I had two unlocked phones and wanted the new IPHONE 8 for $199.99 and get a good plan with data. I called 2 times around Christmas since my new Credit card was not working on the site. I left a message and never received a phone called John Taghavi Corporate Fulfillment Assistant Manager. I explained my situation. He said that I did not call as they Queued 500 calls and therefore I didn't leave a message. HE also said the system doesn't charge credit cards therefore there was no problem with their system. I explained to him that him calling me a liar by telling me I didn't leave a message or have credit card problems? NO empathy but very oppositional. I asked to speak to someone above him since he only offered me a 429 phone not the 199.99 phone and the fact I was called a liar. Spoke to Daniel his manager who must much more pleasant and apologetic. He explained to me that BAKA's prices are fixed by Bell and he tried to fight to maintain their prices to fulfill the orders but Bell would not do this. He apologized for John explaining that he is very stressed and that he would talk to him. I since then left Bell BAKA after 15 years. I wanted the $70.00 data plan but found another plan for far less with a IPHONE for free. It should be noted that I left due to how I was treated by John not Daniel or even system hiccups. Thanks John for calling me a liar and forcing my business elsewhere. I will also be forwarding this message to my OPSEU reps.

My husband ordered a phone through Baka, with the ETFO plan, and when we received a defective phone, he tried to contact and had difficulty. Finally, he was asked to ship the phone back but was charged 150 for changing phones, when we received a broken phone in the beginning.

Seeing the rude emails from customer service was shocking. I decided to choose Rogers instead, who matched the business discount and provided me with a new phone in working condition.

We are hoping he can get out of the contract and join Rogers as well.

I have told colleagues, friends and family to stay clear of this company as customer service was rude and unhelpful.

Reading through the reviews, I can see this isn't the first time people have been given defective phones. So disappointing.

Dealing with Baka has been amazing. All the reps we spoke to were kind and courteous. Our process to switch was a little more complicated because of a corporate account migration but they explained the process and made sure we knew exactly what to do and what was happening. When I ported my number, they called to make sure I'd receive the text to avoid me being inconvenienced if I missed it. I can't recommend the experience enough. We used the online chat and had to call in multiple times to check on each step of the process (for two numbers) and it was stress-free each and every time with little to no wait. Definitely wish I had done this sooner!

Watched the site diligently over the Christmas Break watching for the iPhone 8 64GB to come back in stock as it was priced at $199.99. Saw it once while at work... came home it was sold out. Contacted sales rep and they said they were waiting on new stock. Final got new stock and the phone was now $449.99 and when contacting Customer Service they showed zero sympathy for their lack of stock and steep price jump. The most frustrated part of it is that the Bell site is selling the same phone on a 2-year plan for $149.99. So I don't understand how Bell is dictating the price to be $449.99 as the Reps claim when on their site they are selling it for far cheaper. Poor customer service.

My experience with Baka has been beyond disappoint...

My experience with Baka has been beyond disappointing. I chose Baka because I'm a teacher and ETFO has them as a provider. ETFO, we can do better, find a new partnership. They sent me a defective phone and the process for trying to exchange it has been weeks. They wanted me to pay to ship it back, despite it being defective. They have accused me of not returning calls (when they had my phone) and continually put the problem on me, despite detailed explanations and dates/emails of their lack of communication. I have tried to cancel, but they told me I am passed my time frame, which I didn't receive because they called the number on the phone they had. This has been one of the poorest customer service experiences I have had.

Very untrustworthy sales reps and managers. They will flat out lie to you to get their way. I was lied to about the return period for my phone despite what my contract and sales invoice stated; they first claimed it was shorter than my invoice stated then tried to convince me I bought my phone earlier than I actually did. I had to go though bell who honored my return instead and told me they have heard about many similar issues from Baka.

I've ordered four phones on three separate occasions in the past two years from Baka. I have no real complaints everything went as expected. One minor hiccup with one device, resolved easily over the phone. Satisfied with their service.

Wow! We ordered our phones online and they were delivered to our house in less than 24 hours! Amazing! Then I called customer support for help to set them up and actually spoke to the woman who processed our order and she was amazing!!! I still can't believe that what an incredibly simple process this was. Thank you for your great customer service!!!

My I Phone mysteriously died last night....complete shut down and no amount of charging would wake it from it's coma. Today I logged in to BAKA and spoke with Nichole on line. She was super efficient and helpful. Suggested an ideal replacement, guided me through ordering, ensured I selected the correct plan details and left me feeling that I was with the right service provider. Thanks for making the process so painless!

Today I received the best customer service from one of their reps, Frank. He was so pleasant and knowledgable.
Made everything so easy . Within an hour, my husband and I both had our new phones and cases ordered.

Bad Service this company is conducting some of the most unethical business practices in Ontario, don't trust them and I will never do business with them again. Ordered a new phone from them for a 3 year contract and they sent me an used phone that's not even from bell but from t-mobile.

New phones used to be 0 dollars on amazing plans 4-5 years ago, now a new phone is the same price as everyone else, but their plans are more expensive for the the exact same services, or even less services in some instances. How is this considered corporate rates? What a joke! Where is the incentive to purchase from this company?

Woow ridiculous customer service with prejudice. Activated my line and ported my wife's number to bell through Baka. Got samsung 7 edge phone that was defective, took phone back to corporate office the next day. I was told that I cannot get a replacement phone for the exact type of phone. The rep with attitude said so because I bought the phone for $49 and the price of the phones had changed. He said the only option was to choose a different phone pay more or cancel the plan. We decided to speak with someone else. Between the time we brought the phone back and when we opted to speak with another person was less than 20mins and the rep only had the phone for 5mins. The new person who we spoke with said the phone was observed for 1hour . It is disgraceful to see Baka represent Bell. Be careful doing business with them,they are fraud

Location is a little out of the way but they deal more with corporate clients and primarily a warehouse with a small customer service kiosk.

The packages are competitive but the accessories are a different story.

The staff is plenty friendly but not many if you happen to be there and a few people are there also before you

We've been getting our mobile phones here since "smartphone" meant Blackberry. This location has lots of inventory, which means you're more likely to find what you want. We've had repairs done here too.

Since activating a phone takes time, you may wait a while depending on how many other customers are there. The solution is to place your order online or by phone.

Sent me a broken camera on brand new phone, I went on vacation, after a few days I noticed and called them. They told me I had to have the phone to them in three days and refused to pay for shipping. Wasn't possible so now I'm stuck with a broken phone for 2 years and they don't care what so ever, at one point they laughed at me. If it wasn't for the discount through OPSEU NEVER GO HERE
