I have been with Baka for 15 years and I had two unlocked phones and wanted the new IPHONE 8 for $199.99 and get a good plan with data. I called 2 times around Christmas since my new Credit card was not working on the site. I left a message and never received a phone called John Taghavi Corporate Fulfillment Assistant Manager. I explained my situation. He said that I did not call as they Queued 500 calls and therefore I didn't leave a message. HE also said the system doesn't charge credit cards therefore there was no problem with their system. I explained to him that him calling me a liar by telling me I didn't leave a message or have credit card problems? NO empathy but very oppositional. I asked to speak to someone above him since he only offered me a 429 phone not the 199.99 phone and the fact I was called a liar. Spoke to Daniel his manager who must much more pleasant and apologetic. He explained to me that BAKA's prices are fixed by Bell and he tried to fight to maintain their prices to fulfill the orders but Bell would not do this. He apologized for John explaining that he is very stressed and that he would talk to him. I since then left Bell BAKA after 15 years. I wanted the $70.00 data plan but found another plan for far less with a IPHONE for free. It should be noted that I left due to how I was treated by John not Daniel or even system hiccups. Thanks John for calling me a liar and forcing my business elsewhere. I will also be forwarding this message to my OPSEU reps.
