Tahiti Inn &Resorts Hotel Review

Nice motel, clean and a great rate. There are stairs and the parking is tight. The location is great for getting to the beach and boardwalk. The decor is dated and the seating could be more comfortable but again, for the price and the location, we don't really have any big complaints.

I enjoyed my time there the only thing I didnt like was how early the pool closed.

This place is so Clean! Good location. Everyone is so nice. The owner is so sweet. I would recommend this place to any one. OC is so much better than Wildwood any day . Had a great vacation!

Excellent service, clean, walk from here to boardwalk just few feet,, beautiful pool, and people at desk always friendly and great, been coming here several years and find talking to people at pool the same. Our room was ready when we arrived at 12:30 in aft.

The motel was very nice but the staff was rude my entire stay. The woman when I checked in was making fun of and belittling an employee right in front of me and the pool staff watched everyone else break rules but frequently came and spoke to us about every little thing.

Tahiti Inn is a short walk from the boardwalk, arcade, and many local restaurants. The apartment style room included a fridge, microwave, drip coffee maker, cups, mugs, utensils, three beds and a futon to sleep 8 people, large bathroom, two balconies, and a medium sized tv. Staff was friendly and accommodating with preparing our room even though we were a few hours early before check-in. My only complaints are that the pool closes at 6 and the parking lot can be difficult to navigate.

I've been going here since I was a little girl. Now I bring my son. The rooms are perfect size. The price is great and the pool is beautiful. Its so close to the beach also.

Love this place.. and the staff.. they are so friendly .. though i only go here once a year they remember me from year to year.. i highly recommend you give them a try.. you will not be disappointed..

One of the best places to stay at any shore point in New Jersey. Ownership and the staff do a fantastic job keeping the guests happy. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained. All of that and the proximity to the beach/boardwalk makes this place a MUST-STAY.

Location is great right outside the boardwalk. Service is excellent and the owners are great people. They always make sure you are having the best service. Kids love the pool and rooms are always clean. Been going here for years.

Not the fanciest hotel in OCNJ but it is extremely affordable for a family vacation. Manco and Manco and the boardwalk less than a block away. Only thing that would be better would be weekly beach tags available. We have stayed here for the last 3-4 years and plan on booking again for 2019!

We love the Tahiti. We try to stay here a few times each summer. Have been going for many years and always have a great time. Out the door and right onto the boardwalk. A+

This motel has many things going for it. The location is fantastic, just steps away from the 12 St beach and the boardwalk, with myriad eateries, shops and entertainment opportunities. The staff is fantastic, the price is right, and all the flowers - the nod to Tahiti - are awesome. The two knocks are the parking areas, which are very crowded and cramped, and the small, dark, old fashioned units. I will say that the unit was very clean, and had no odor, so that was good. We would stay here again, but not as our first choice.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. In just 1 day being at this hotel I had a towel that had PUKE in it in my bathroom and my car got urinated on. When I went to management to complain and say I no longer wanted to stay here, they refused a refund. told me that they have been having problems with people peeing on cars and there was a party last night, and offered to hose off my car. Then, they accused my child of puking in the towel in the bathroom and said that it was my kid. REALLY REALLY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE!!!! DON'T SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

The location of the Tahiti Inn is perfect being so close to the beach. I love the heated outdoor pool. My only complaint is that the beds are really hard.

Very cute kitschy motel. Pool area is adorable. Bathrooms in standard size room are a bit snug, but for the price and location this place is top notch. Only gripe is the time in which the pool closes (6:30pm), we would have enjoyed some evening swimming while here. Over all, we are very happy with our stay.

Decent rooms, fair price, right on the boardwalk, accommodating & friendly staff

Proximity to the boardwalk and beach was great, less than a block. The rooms are a little dated and need updating but they served their purpose. Hotel pool is heated and clean.

Just got done vacation. Hate to leave. We had another wonderful stay at Tahiti Inn. Clean and comfortable. Very very nice place to stay. Prices are good. Everyone there are so nice and friendly. Looking forward to staying there again next year. Thanks for another wonderful time.

Stayed here on a recent trip to Ocean City New Jersey. The entrance is done beautifully, with the waterfalls on each side and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, as was the house- keeping staff. Parking lot/spaces were very small and tight. Our room was very clean, but very tiny. We felt like there were not too many places to set bags, and they were kind of cluttering the floor making it difficult to walk from one side of room to the other. Decor could use some updating, and blinds would be ideal rather than a curtain. We couldn't let any natural light in, because when the curtain was opened, there was no privacy, with people walking by to get to their rooms. Bathroom was ultra tiny. However, the mattresses and pillows in our room were very, very comfortable and there was a small refrigerator which was definitely a plus. It was also right on the boardwalk and a short walking distance to the beach. The pool area was clean and kept nicely, but we wish that the pool has been open a little later than 6:30 pm. When we came off off the beach, and back from our activities, it would have been so nice to have taken a relaxing swim, just adults, in the pool with that cute little waterfall, before bed. Overall was not a bad little hotel, but I thought a bit pricey considering the small size of the room, not being able to swim in the pool after dinner, and the few other quirks. I would stay here again, but probably not as my first choice. In any case, we had a great time in Ocean City, which is what counts most. :)

My family has been staying at the Tahiti for decades. We always get amazing service, Mario is the nicest man and works like a mule. I'll be coming here for years with my children in the future.

I've made a yearly trip to the Tahiti since I was a little kid and it is great! The facility is very nice, well kept, and clean. It has very easy access to the beach and boardwalk. The family who runs it is wonderful too!

It was very clean and the pool was nice everyone was in a good mood and very nice the workers came in and cleaned only if you wished and the arcade was close and very nice as well same with the bored walk

This beautiful motel was perfect. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. We absolutely loved the beautiful heated pool and the location was excellent. It was super close to the beach and boardwalk. Additionally, the room was very clean. We will definitely be returning.

We have been return customers for years. The rooms are clean and the owner (Cecilia) is always there to make your stay enjoyable. The location is right at the middle of the boardwalk and there is free beach tags available.

If you would like to stay at the worst hotel in New Jersey, this is the hotel for you. The staff is very rude, the female employee presumed to be the owner's daughter (from reading other reviews that are much worse than this) was yelling at us because we stated that they charged us $20 for things that were not on the contract. As she was yelling "if you don't ****ing like it, go to the police station and file a complaint" she picked up the contract that we had signed and literally threw it at us ( please keep in mind that we had a calm tone the whole time).if you bring sand into your room they will charge you an expensive fee that is not in the contract. We had taken off our bracelets moments before entering the checkout "area" because the bracelets cut our wrists and friends while at the beach. They insisted on charging $20 per bracelet and threatened to call the police when we said that it was ridiculous. The owners daughter also attempted to add another $20 dollars for "arguing". By far the worst establishment I have been to and I will never come back. I plan on filing a formal complaint to shut this place down.

Clean and reasonable priced motel right next to the boardwalk. 24 hr arcade right next to it and bike/Surrey rentals also. Pool is nice and clean

Last word first: I would stay here again. The rooms are what you would expect at a family owned establishment. Very pleasant. Close to the boardwalk & beach. Stayed in September, so it was quieter. Everyone was friendly & helpful.

Tahiti Inn is located right next to the boardwalk with a pool, and outdoor shower to wash sand off your feet. The staff are extremely friendly and every room is sparkling clean.

We discovered this gym about 5 years ago when we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a long weekend during the most expensive time of the year. Coincidentally we started at the lowest rates in Ocean City and there they were. We were skeptical at first but the reviews were quite good.

We weren't looking for a Hilton or high end experience so when we booked, we weren't expecting much, just a clean place and good location. We got much more than that. We ended up renting a large 1 bedroom apartment and the place was really clean, well maintained, fun 1950s Tiki retro pool and motel design. The apartments are on the left of the motel above the parking garage. We got two parking spaces for the week. The apartment was surprisingly large with a really large living room/kitchen and dining area. The bedroom had two large double beds in it and the location was just as close to the boardwalk as you can get with only a small parking lot in between. The motel and apartments are located at the southern end of the boardwalk where it's a bit quieter but still in the middle of the rides, shops and restaurants.

One thing you will see in all the reviews is how friendly the staff is and how helpful they are. This can make a huge difference in any place you stay as you feel more appreciated as guests and not just another client. The motel is family owned and operated so each year you come back, you will see many familiar faces. By the end of the week, all the staff knew our names and each year we returned, they remembered us by name and we felt welcomed.

Since then we have moved around in several apartments until we found our favorite. We first started out with the large 1 bedroom, then went to the small 2 bedroom and the third year we got the large 2 bedroom which is what is perfect for our family and friends visiting.

This place is so nice, my friend came to visit us last year and was so impressed with the place and the service that she booked an apartment the same week we were there.

The room was clean and comfortable. Little sound traveled between rooms and they are great with parking if you stay past checkout.
