Though I generally order online and appreciate the service, whenever I have gone to the store, the staff has always been considerate and very informed. I have gotten good information on esoteric items several times; staffers even confer among each other when the challenge is complex.

B&H is by far my favorite store in NYC. Just wanted to also thank them for delivering product quickly during these unprecedented times. I hope employees are main safe.

If you re from out of town and like tech. This is the place. It seems every employee is knowledgeable about the product they re selling and you can t turn around without someone asking you if you need help. I went to by a camera bag one time and it actually took me two times going to decide. Both times the employee working the section new every bag available and all features.

Please go to this store.

Great variety of products at good prices and an excellent online checkout experience. My only gripe was that one time when I returned a defective item they deducted the value of a gift UV filter from the issued credit, which seems to be a bit stingy.

I tried to buy two items at the B and H store. The weather was terrible. I had to buy one item from the shelf and the other from a sales rep. I wanted the items shipped, but at the check out counter, the cashier was taking over 20 minutes to handle my transaction. I finally told that I was leaving and would buy the items online. The store needs to have a better coordinated check out procedure. Also the store needs to have more sales.

B&H is my idea of the absolutely perfect way to run a business. They have the best equipment, the best staff, the best prices and I trust them implicitly to give me good advice. I have bought a lot from them and will keep doing so. I've never seen a better run store.

I have purchased a number of products through B&H ...

I have purchased a number of products through B&H over the years, mostly photographer gear, but not large ticket items. I recently purchased a 65 inch TV from B&H and was not happy with the so attempted to process a return. At which point I found out there was an exclusion for returning the size of TV and they would not accept the return. I spoke with both a sales agent and a customer service manager, and the manager was quite rude and saying that it was my responsibility to read the return policy before making the purchase. This is not something that I think a typical consumer would do.

I have an issue with the fact that they would not take the TV back, but really my bigger issue is that there was nothing stating on the purchase confirmation, nor did the agent who took my order for me, that my purchase was above their return limit. If I was told this up front, I could've made an informed decision, which would've been to not continue with the purchase.

Since there are many options for purchasing electronics, I plan on spending my future dollars someplace else.

Listen, if you cannot find what you want here you must be mad.
I came here for photography.
I simply could not comprehend the variety of gear.
I did not have enough time on my hands to do the store justice.
Will be coming back next June with a plan.

I've ordered a few things from here over the years...

I've ordered a few things from here over the years (external hard drives mostly) and I've always had a good experience, whether I'm having it shipped to me or going into the store for pickup. Going into the store feels a little overwhelming, but the signs make it easy to navigate and the employees have the pickup process mastered. Will definitely keep buying from here!

To all Canadians, DO NOT buy smartphones from this store if you don't have any relatives in the US. I basically needed to repaire my LG G5 (still having the 1 year warranty). LG Canada couldn't do anything because it's a US phone, and LG US couldn't do anything because my adress is canadian.... B&H proposed to help with the transfer, but it would take months for me to get my phone back. I need my phone and i would need to buy a new phone while waiting! I literaly lost 800 CAD just because of LG's policy and because of B&H not pre-mentionning that this problem could happen.

Terrible customer experience. You grab something from a shelf and when you go to the register to pay they tell you that the item has already been sold and you can't buy it. What? It was on the shelf for anyone to grab. Nope, I'm sorry, we can't sell this to you. No further explanation. Conclusion: next time I'll spare the trip and buy it on Amazon. My last time at this store.

I received my Nexus phone a month after ordering and the very next day it stopped working. I was frowned at the slow delivery and then the worst phone. But to my pleasure, the team handled the matter very effectively. They exchanged the phone for a new one at the earliest possible.

One of the most dishonest companies I've dealt with. Just use Amazon and save yourself the trouble. Otherwise, you might receive a faulty product from a company that fails to make good on their promise to sell products that actually work.

So basically they could find they have product that have issues and still just sell them to you. If even thing is good it s great, but this company take zero responsibility for the service and products they provide. Find somewhere else to shop.

Turned out to be one of the worst place. Customer service so bad that they disconnect the phone and also they say you don't need to come and buy from our place. There is no tax break also from this place. I don't see any reason stick with this rogue place.

This is a store that remembers old school service: ask a hundred questions, no problem; walk in knowing exactly what you need and you can be out the door in three minutes.

Excellent selection in both cameras and computers, staff that actually know their stock, and prices that match or beat anyone else in the city.

Potentially the most amazing audio video photo store in the world.
It is honestly hard to image a place that is closer to paradise than B&H for technically inclined people. This place will make your credit card glow and then some!

This is the example of brick and mortar store that will hopefully always beat the online world. Its chaos, its kosher.. its wow !

zero star if possible, It was a great place to buy your equipment before. But now their customer service treats you like S***. I purchased a brand new dell xps 15 inside the store and I opened it right after I purchased it inside the store. I found out that it is a return unit or a refurbish unit because it is covered by dust and fingerprint. So I ask their customer service to replace a new unit for me immediately. But guess what? The manager tell me it looks brand new to him and there is no return or refund for it.They try to push selling the unit that nobody wants to me. This is totally unacceptable attitude from such big company. I am done with B&H. They use to be very responsive and great service. But it is gone forever. I am going to tell you that you will get some used or returned unit randomly from them someday. You have to decide if you want to buy their product or not. I am not going to buy their product anymore.

Scam site. Took 3 months to get a "2 week" pre-order products when they where available on other sites for months. They get you at full price then make you wait months until they get the product heavily discounted. Cutting edge electronics depreciate fast. So they delay your delivery by months and still charge you day one prices.

Do not get excited for your product until it's at your door because I did and they messed up my order only to tell me there's no more and all they can do is offer me a refund after making me wait 4 days and miss important dates I needed the product for .

Do not buy from this company!!! They have no support what-so-ever. We are a business that sells and repairs computers. Some of our clients own businesses of their own. A Lenovo we bought from B&H went bad within 3 months of being bought. We checked our invoice from B&H and noticed they neglected to put the return policy/warranty/contact information on the details.

We had to spend over an hour tracking down who to contact to get this solved due to holds and transfers. After 2 calls in a row trying to find out what is going on with a product we had sold to a business that we RMA'd we were told it was lost being transfered to their "repair shop/manufacturer" and they'd get back to us. After 1 week we took the liberty of spending our working hours to call them back. Still no idea where the Lenovo was at.

I originally got a guy named Israel and he handed me off to a guy named Ian. Ian told me to hold and came back after 8 minutes saying he couldn't even find our product and they'd call us back. After waiting till the next day I called back and got Myer. I was put on hold for 28 minutes by Myer who again said he couldn't find our product,transfered the call again. 13 minutes later Jake got back to me and eventually found the product. After talking with Jake we were told we'd get our product back after 4-6 weeks. This wasn't on the RMA we recieved, it wasn't on their website and it wasn't discussed when we E-mailed them to get the RMA. When we called it was discussed that we'd get the Lenovo back "soon."

We told them we could have the job done in 2 days if they just sent us the part (HDD). They insisted we trust them and send it back. This is one of the worst run arounds I've ever experienced. After waiting 1 month I asked for a supervisor. I was told I'd get a call back, 4 days later I've still not recieved a call/voicemail from a supervisor and called them back. I came to realize that the "supervisor" was talking to me previously and handed me off to a service desk person. I was talking with Myer and explained that I asked for the supervisor previously. Myer told me the supervisor was Israel who was the original guy I talked to. I'd suggest that anyone who deals with this company be warned, They will take their time even when you don't have the time to waste. We ended up taking a loss on this and giving our clients one of our laptops in exchange because they needed something to work on and B&H wasn't getting the job done. Over all we could have had this laptop fixed, all of the data back on it and back to our customer in 2 days maximum. I expect a company of this size to work as hard as we do if not harder.

My 1st time going to shop at B&H and it was such a great seamless experience. I was greeted right away and assisted. I am just in awe of their system, it is amazing and many retail stores would benefit from their organization. Every staff member I interacted with was cordial and smiling. I wish I had more reasons to go back.

The ABSOLUTE BEST!

I buy everything possible from them. Whether it's photography, electronics or anything they carry.

The customer service is outstanding! Their prices are always fair and you can get some great deals when they offer specials.

I bought a camera once from a competitor years ago and regretted it. Never again. I highly recommend B&H to everyone I know.

Nice and quick, much more high end electronics than Best Buy. They also have staff that actually seems to have a clue and can help with more advanced questions or topics. Not to mention, they have a pretty cool little conveyor built system to go pickup your merchandise. I was able to pick up a new Apple Macbook Pro here quicker than Apple could ship or get it ready for me at the Apple Store.

This place is one of a kind, when you come here you'll be able to see some of the newest and greatest electronics available. Personally I find the prices here to be some of the lowest around and the service here is high quality. These people know there stuff and if they don't they'll tell you that they don't know and directly you in the way to find out what you want to know. Never leaving you lost for information. in addition to this it's the so busy here and amazing on how much products the store has. Plus the conveyor belt system they have to ship products around the building is mind-boggling

This place is very cool, especially for those who like electronic stores. They have lots of stations setup for testing out simulators, drones, cameras and everything in between. There is a lot of variety in the products they sell, but didn't have the exact computer I was looking for.
