This is a quintessential college radio station. The DJs are mostly students promoting their own tastes allowing the station to be on the bleeding edge when it comes to new and underground musicians. When looking for new music, trust this station to show you something you haven't heard before. My dial stays locked to WKNC, WUNC, and WSHA

This is a great station that deserves all of the support it can get. I enjoy listening and hearing local and independent artists that I've never heard before. They do a lot of giveaways for concert tickets too.

Love KNC. They used to be more hard rock, but I'm digging the indy stuff in the daytime. But PLEASE pick up the pace a little, DJ's... I'm not in the mood for moody emo music at noon!

They play the best music, super friendly and part of the community.
