I purchased a phone from B&H, but they appear to h...

I purchased a phone from B&H, but they appear to have the phone registered to their company. This means I can't register the phone to myself and when I contact the manufacturer, it appears stolen to them. I've contacted B&H several times and explained the exact information I need in order to begin a warranty claim for my phone, but apparently someone stole bunch of phones, hacked into their website, then sold them because B&H has no information regarding the manufacturer. This has been an enormous frustration.

Worst service I've ever received from any establis...

Worst service I've ever received from any establishment in the US. It's been three weeks since I ordered a BlackMagic Camera, and the payment hasn't been processed. Even issued a bank clarification from my bank, still no answers on their behalf.

They say they're fixing it and that they'll get in touch with me but never do. As a foreigner is really frustrating that they play with peoples money in such a negligent way.

I was really let down by B&H.

I bought the camera for a good deal a couple days before Black Friday and discovered on Black Friday they had an even better deal! I emailed them and they got right back and refunded me the difference... Great customer service!

Called from Canada and ordered the nvidia shield pro. The sales rep was very helpful and very polite. Excellent customer service. Shipment was fast and as expected. It arrived in a very good condition with no damages or anything worrying. I would order again. Highly recommended.

Customer service bundled with tech bundled with hands on bundled with experience bundled with....Hello just make sure you've got time on your hands because the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely beats talking to a robot.
These are real people who just generally want to help. They just happen to be employees.
So that's how you'll feel like it wasn't just BUSINESS but it got PERSONAL and you actually just left knowing what you needed to know and hopefully purchasing it from "B & H"

It's b&h what more is there to say. Brick and mortar with Amazon pricing. Where else can you walk in a store with hundreds of people ten minutes before they close and make a purchase before they lock the doors. They move lines like they are heading sheep.

To p/u a 4GB sd card I had to wait 10 min plus standing alone in line while the 2 people serving the counter demonstrated the same type on phone handle/tripod to each customer. After about 5 min I was told "sorry, we are the only 2 people servicing this counter" I was about to walk out but remained handcuffed to my 1st spot in line because I needed the chip. Others behind me split. NEVER BEEN IN YOUR STORE FOR THAT LONG NO MATTER WHAT THE PURCHASE!

Was a BH Photo customer for years, but recently this company has become both misleading customers and irresponsible. I ordered a brand new monitor (with duties paid) from their website and once it arrives I notice that it's an open box and after opening see that it's used. They label the RMA as "Looks Used" when I forward them the pictures, when clearly it *is* used. They send another monitor and it too is used. This one didn't have a single piece of tape holding it closed. What's more, the duties I paid up front, they forgot to attach, so I had to pay duties a second time. Upon calling customer service, they advised me that even though it was their fault, I had to file for border service paperwork (which takes hours to complete), they could in no way help me and it was my full responsibility to get my money back even though paperwork was their responsibility. They claimed they "could not guarantee that the duties will be paid during the RMA process". Then why did they not refund me my duties during the RMA process? Absolutely irresponsible.

TL;DR: BH photo tried to clear their inventory by selling old/used monitors as new monitors TWICE, forgot to file the duties paperwork, forced me to pay for the duties and then would not facilitate the reimbursement nor take responsibility. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the US Department of commerce. I also just ordered the monitor from Amazon. Received my new monitor within 3 days. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Best electronic store in NYC. Maybe in the entire country. Top notch customer support. Great prices. Never refused to accept any returns. Never missed any deadlines on replacement or repair. Kudos to all employees and managment. You guys make gadget shopping exceptional.

Probably one of the best photography stores in the world. They have everything you need for your photography. The guys at the sales counter are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They understand your requirements and help you find exactly what you are looking for and also suggest what could be a better value for money. Anyone visiting the area have to go there just to have a look. It will be time well spent.

Very knowledgable staff. I feel like they know more about products than the companies themselves. I went to the PhotoExpo and asked Nikon and Sony a few questions and felt like I didn't get an answer. Went over to B&H and all my questions were answered without being pushed into buying something. The only store where I will buy my camera equipment. Thank you!

Love going to this store! Everything I've ever needed, available for pickup within hours if not minutes. Prices have never been beat and employees are very friendly. Not to mention the store's history and international fame, I feel like the logistics operation inside is worth the trip alone!

B&H Photo Video-Electronic store is simply marvelous! The staff here was extremely helpful. Helped me to get a fabulous Sony CFD-S70 CD/Cassette player that also has AM/FM Radio, AND, plays MP3 CDS. Got it for such a bargain!!! The device itself is WONDERFUL! I can't wait to go back to this store. It was truly a sheer pleasure to shop here.

I've ordered from B & H online store only twice in...

I've ordered from B & H online store only twice in the last four years and both times I've received an email saying the item I ordered was actually not in stock. I'm not sure why their inventory software doesn't work as well as every other store that sells online, but it needs improvement. So you think you're getting a good deal, really you're getting nothing. Then you have to call to cancel your order which is annoying since it isn't the consumer's fault the items are out of stock. The staff is always really nice.

This place is just awful. Terrible customer service and they completely shut down everything during every conceivable 'holiday'. Sent an item back and nearly three weeks later, still no refund because they shutdown for almost two weeks (this being right after being shutdown for a week shortly after placing my order, unable to start my RMA). Sent an email and 5 business days later, no response. Had to threaten legal action to receive a response about my RMA status.

The staff actually know about the products in the department where they work and they are happy to help answer questions. Plus, they seem to carry every category of electronics possible! What a treat when compared to the useless big box stores all across the country.

"Greatest store on earth!" Love the in person shopping experience and my online shopping experiences have always been just as great & simple. A photographer's heaven and just about for every guy that love's all types of electronic toys! It is just an amazing store with great employees!

Great store-professional services and good prices....

Great store-professional services and good prices. BUT every time I choose to use the "store pick-up" option and use PayPal as payment it reverts to my shipping address and gives me no option to pick-up. There is obviously a bug that keeps paypal orders from being picked up. It works fine if I use a credit card. That's why four stars instead of five.

I've recently ordered several home surveillance items from B&H, including an NVR and half a dozen cameras. Very pricey stuff. Shipping was always same day, and the few times I called with questions the staff was very polite and helpful. Five stars for a great company.

I've shopped there many times in the past and all my experiences with them have been positive. There prices for the most part are better than Best Buy/Target and are competitive with Microcenter. I only wish they were open on Saturdays (I do understand that is Jewish owned and why it's closed that day to celebrate the sabbath).

Always a pleasure to stop in, less pleasurable on the waller when I leave, bit it's great to have free parking when I go in to pick things up. Huge selection and good prices, when 2 day amazon prime isn't fast enough, B&H is the way to go.

disappointed in the chat feature. I was transferred multiple times to different people every time i had a different question. the website tells me I qualify for free shipping yet checkout wasnt working and again transferred yet again to another rep who tells me i have to call in, if I wanted to call in i would have started with calling in. its why i used the chat feature. totally ignores me and takes forever to respond. i dont think i will be purchasing from here with the kind of "help" on a sale ive just gone through. very frustrating first experience

Purchased a guitar for my son that was a special order and they said it would take 7-14 business days. On the 14th business day I received an email from B&H that said out of stock . Totally unacceptable. Called and they said they d call back with info. There has been no call back to me. Now there s no way for this item to come in before Christmas. Terrible service all the way around and very disappointed.

If you've never shopped here you're missing out. Online experience is top notch but IN-STORE is even better. Overhead robots carry your stuff to the counter and there are always 3-5 people waiting to help you find what you need. The candy is free as well but - don't eat too much!

Very helpful, quick, knowledgeable and as this visit was for a defective phone charger, the replacement was immediate and appreciated.
Highly recommended but patience is required as they are a very busy store.

best camera store ever. today this was my first visit ever here and even before i walked into the store, i was like "yessss" "cool" because it felt like a home for my hobbies because they had pro video, consumer video from canon, nikon, olympus, sony, pentax, etc. they also had macbooks too. also they had free candy too. the workers are just so professional, one customer i saw was getting assistance with microphones and others were talking about the best of the best i hope to visit this place many more times.
