Ordered solar eclipse glasses on August 13th and paid a boatload for overnight air shipping. Got an email from B&H on Thursday that it was shipped. Tracking number from UPS on Sunday still has it at B & H in Brooklyn! It was never shipped... I'm out $$$$ and have 15 sad kids the news.

I never use B&H and for good reason. They never deliver on their deliver by dates. I ordered a medium format system which was supposed to be next day delivery. Instead they held the camera for 24 hours without notifying me and said it was because of its value. NEXT DAY SHIPPING MEANS I NEED IT THE NEXT DAY WHEN I PURCHASED IT. Also their customer service is horrifyingly bad. I was routed 7 times (not an exaggeration I have witnesses) to get a tracking number to which the rep wanted to do anything but hear my voice. Extremly rude for a very simple question. Only to find my order hadn't even been shipped. For the amount of money I spent on this rig, I was disgusted with the way I was treated. Next time I'll buy direct and skip the degrading experience.

I've had several good experience with B&H but today as I was about to check out, they changed the price of an item (+$20) with no notification. If I had not refreshed the page to double check I would not have noticed the change. I then contacted customer service and they would not honor the previous price.

B&H is second to none. If they don't sell a piece of camera or electronic equipment then it probably isn't made. I really like that they stock everything in terms of random photographic equipment and that I can try it out before buying. This is a must-go place for anyone looking for camera gear.

B&H staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable in every department. They have everything from devices to accessories! The store is always super clean and even thought there is always a lot of customers you never come out of there unsatisfied. The best in the biz, whether in the store, online or on the phone. The staff is great they are knowledgeable and responsible for own work. A great place with tons of helpful people . Excellent place. I was so surprise with the customer service here.Great from every where.

Honestly, the place to buy camera and video equipment. The prices often beat Amazon, and the staff is highly knowledgeable. Everyone is friendly there.

They got a cool, overhead conveyor belt thingy moving the items around so you don't even have to carry them with you. It's waiting for you at checkout.

Their computer department has some great items, but the selection is not as great as other shops such as Micro Center.

Best electronics store I have ever been to. After the disappointment that was Best Buy this was on a whole different level. The staff is pretty nice and helpful, and there is a great variety of products.

I bought a used 50 mm lens from B and H this past week.

First off, the website is super user friendly. I was able to make an account and checkout easily with no problems.

I bought a used lens that was rated 8+. I was expecting more wear and tear on it- but it looks practically new!

The photo attached is one of the first pictures I took with the new-to-me lens.

It was delivered right on time via UPS and came in a box with bubble wrap.

I got a survey after the purchase just to make sure everything went well and I couldn't be happier.

Love love love this store! It's the only store I can get a particular item I need due to some DVDs that are region 2. Pyle portable DVD players are ok-made but not too cheap that you know you are not getting a good deal. I've had a few over the years and my first one was very finicky. Almost as if it had a mind of its own. Insists disc 1 is no disk... Clean it, still no disc. Throw in another disc. Reads it fine. Throw in disc 1 it loads right up.

What a completely UNPROFESSIONAL outfit!!!!! I have been in the computer business for twenty one years and have never run across a retailer that has absolutely NO APPRECIATION for their customers!! I've purchased 6 Apple laptops from them this year alone (over $20K) Today I was checking on pricing and availability and the rep had an attitude and was completely unprofessional! I would not recommend doing business with them AT ALL!!!

Good prices, probably because they're low quality products. Motherboard had issues, and they basically told me "you're out of luck." Honestly wouldn't recommend buying from them unless you can walk directly into their building.

Do NOT believe next day delivery and free next day...

Do NOT believe next day delivery and free next day shipping, neither will happen.

My package was shipped FedEx ground which stated by FedEx is actually "1 5 business days within the contiguous US" not next day delivery. My camera only needed to go to Maryland from Trenton New Jersey, so less than 200 miles. In my experience FedEx will only deliver ground packages on or after the 5th day.

Also the website states next day shipping which did not happen. I will not be spending my money at B&H again when there are so many other options that set and meet realistic delivery expectations. I am so completely disappointed. I ordered my package on December 6th and on Dec 14th I still don't have my camera. One day shipping plus one (next) day delivery does not equal eight days and counting! B&H do and be better.

B&H just hits the nail on the head for me each time I visit!

The product selection is second to none in the city and the knowledge of the staff who actually work in whatever field you re interested in is also great. When shopping at other stores, you may get an associate who only had a week of training but the staff at B&H have years of experience in their respective fields.

I've done business with BH Photo Online a few times and have been happy. Once I did order a lens and it was never delivered or it was stolen from my door step (it was near the holiday season). It was a bummer that it was a used product and they didn't have any other used ones in stock. I had to fill out paperwork for their insurance company but it was rather smooth.

Every transaction since then has been great. I did want to order a portable dry box from them, but i must have missed the sale window and the price went back up... So I'll stick to my cabinet at home and my ghetto on the go dry box until I catch it on sale again.

BH selling fake Nikon batteries -I bought four Nikon 15b batteries purchased from BH separately - now BH said they will replace them - they also said do not ship bad ones back to them- potentially dangerous! Now, what if my camera got damaged because of this batteries? They think just to replace batteries will be fine - I for one thing will never buy anything from them again-- Cant be trusted - They sold me fake batteries for full price that have a potential to damage my cameras , they might do it again

Customer support hung up on me after countless hours on hold, on day 2 of attempting to reach support I was told my order is coming in 3 months although site claims in stock. It s laughable. Some fishy business here. Along with a few colleagues we no longer shop here.

After trying to get through to customer service with no avail (they gave me lip service.). I must say posting reviews got me some true customer service. After explaining my situation B&H allowed me to do then change of my new computer for a better one with more ram. Special thanks to Henry P! I will definitely continue to use (and count on) B&H for all my s/V needs!

I have ben a long running B&H customer and would really like to continue to purchase products from them. Unfortunately, in light of recent events, they are making quite hard for me to purchase.

After purchasing my MacBook Air I realized that it did not have sufficient memory to run the programs that I purchased the computer for originally. This MacBook Air is described as being able to be "Configured" for 16gb of ram. Unfortunately there is no mention that this has to be done before purchase and that once purchased it cannot be upgraded with more Ram.

This pretty much renders this MacBook Air as useless for my needs, I tried repeatedly to deal with B&H customer service and they have done nothing except give vacant apologies and asked if there was anything else they can help me with. I will make it my mission to make sure people do NOT purchase from B&H due to their terrible customer service, horrible return policy, and lack of interest in any sort of customer retention.

I urge you to NEVER buy products from them as a working professional they did not accommodate my exchange request when a product that they sold was poorly described and did not fit my needs.

Bought a camera lens and other electronic devices a few times from here. Never had a complain. Good quality products, satisfied with the service, very rich inventory of everything you need. Never bought anything online from them so I can't say how is the service but visiting them in the store is definitely worth. Will visit them again for sure.

No pressure ... one criticism... too much choice... not really a criticism but give the place time. Not because of service which is nothing short of perfection ... but you can play with everything before you choose.

I ordered the D850 on October 3. I'd ordered from B&H before - I will NEVER order from them again. Not only are they only shipping AUGUST pre-orders (while most other dealers are shipping September & October orders), but when they said they refunded my $3,200 via PayPal, there is absolutely zero sign of that money. PayPal is involved in tracking it down - what a huge hassle. So not only am I now at the BACK of the line for the camera, I'm trying to find my money. Disgusted!!

The vast selections and knowledgeable staff are welcoming and the opportunities to experience some gear hands on before purchase along with the workshops offered makes this place a technology toy store.

The store itself is honestly a bit overwhelming but everyone who works there is super helpful and knowledgeable about the products and what would be right for you based on what you want to do. They also don t try to get you to buy the most expensive product but simply help you. I went in there with a couple questions and left with the cheapest but best working mic for my usage for my DSLR. I ve always loved B&H photo and it was amazing to get to visit the store.

if you are going to order something that you do not need right away it an "ok company". as soon as you need to customer service you will regret ordering from this company, I can call my self being a regular to this company, but I have had 3 mayor let downs when I order with expedite shipping. Like others have mentioned before, some times the processing takes way longer that it should. I ordered a TV on the 20th expected to be delivered on the 23rd, I will hopefully get it on the 4th. on another occasion I called to ask a few question about an expiration date on a instant film, I was panning on spending thousands of dollars on this product and they were not able to assist me nor do the effort to do it.

I thought these shops were long gone. A great selection of electronics, especially for the camera enthusiast or seasoned pro. Sadly, I think most of these type of shops are going to disappear from the high street in favour of online e-stores. Great experience, long queue that was flying due to the many tills that actually were occupied!

This is a "go to" place for anything that you need...

This is a "go to" place for anything that you need in the way of photography, drones, electronics, etc. First and foremost, you can actually make a phone call to these folks and get some great advice when you need it. Secondly, you can be assured of a fair price. If B&H declines to match a price there is a reason (beware of other vendors that have prices that are too good to be true). When you call in to B&H for "Customer Service" you don't get transferred to some offshore call center. You speak to a real human being that can answer questions. Try that with many of the other "online" vendors. Returns are easy and dependable. It's like walking into a retail store where every associate is a knowledgeable enthusiast for the product they are selling. Try it once and you won't shop anywhere else ever again. ;)
