Really disappointed with this resort. Visited Arizona for the first time on Valentine s Day weekend and took my girl here. The workers are nice, but there were a lot of things with the resort I could give some feedback on. For one, the extra $55 additional resort fees for EVERY night. There are a list of items such as shuttles, WiFi, etc that those fees goes towards. When I checked in, and unpacked, I went to the front for the shuttle and they said it stopped already. I was a bit bummed because I paid an extra $55 that night for those services...

The resort could have better lighting at night and signs to direct visitors. When we walked around at night, we met up with groups of people who were lost and searching for the front desk or searching for their rooms. It was not well lit either so it was like going through a maze!

We went to the waterpark on opening day and there are 4 slides and a lazy river. It s kinda of a water park, just a basic one. The lazy river is nice to sit in and float around.

Just really disappointed in how much we paid and for the okay rooms. You even have to pay for breakfast in the morning...

Really great overall, but there are a few things that make the stay difficult. Some of the rooms are really hard and complicated to get there. Other rooms also take a hike to get there. The most troubling aspect of the resort is that there are hardly any places you can eat there and the ones that are there are expensive.

Feel free to stay here understanding that they may cancel your reservation without contacting you ahead of time. Made reservations for November 2017 back on August 1st. Reservation was for 4 nights in a room with two queen beds and a pull out since my wife and I have 4 children. Paid one nights stay at that time. In September, we were the victims of cc fraud so the cc company changed our cc number. Yesterday the hotel went to charge the remaining nights to our card but it was declined so the hotel cancelled our reservation and gave the room to someone else without notifying us or giving us the chance to give them our updated cc number. They emailed and said out reservation was "cancelled at our request." Nope. We never requested a cancellation. When we called to try to get this rectified, (within a couple hours of getting the email) no one had a solution for us. They even claimed, when we asked for the hotel managers email that they didn't know what the email was. They even claimed that they tried to notify us but they must have sent it to the wrong email. They obviously had our correct email since they sent us an email telling us we no longer had a reservation. Not happy with Arizona Grand Resort and Spa. Their customer service/care is terrible. We now have booked at another hotel but at twice the cost since we need room for six. Oh, the people we talked to yesterday said that this happened to several people yesterday so I was not the only one. Apparently not an isolated incident.

This is over very impressive place. I was attending a business conference and the conference facilities were great. There is a beautiful golf course and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

This place is beautiful. I'm not a "resort" type of guy so I have nothing really to compare to. My wife, son, and I were given a night here as a gift and were extremely impressed and happy with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and everywhere we went was just as nice. The water park was well maintained, felt safe, and offered hours off fun to my little family. The price of the food was higher than I'm used to but it was very high quality and the service was excellent which made it worth the cost. I hope to return sometime and would recommend this place to anybody.

Nice place rooms are huge, traffic was loud off the I10 woke me up every morning, very pricey. Ice machine down. Pro shop closed early and on Tuesday, hard to find anyone to talk to about there hour's. Lots of disappointing moments, thankful they gave me slight retribution for my inconvenience.

Nice.

The room was amazing. Breakfast buffet super expensive per person and not a lot of options. Steak was raw and not very good. We had an extended check out time yet they locked us out of our room at 830. I wouldn t choose to stay again...

Oh did my family have a blast! We came here for my birthday and my kids and myself had a great time. Great customer service, clean rooms, fun water park, but unfortunately the food is rather expensive. More then the Disney resort in Hawaii s food which was VERY shocking to see. Would we go again... yes but with more snacks lol. Oh and no outside food or drinks allowed in water park which I found to be a bit odd as well since it s a resort. Also it s Arizona if I are not allowing me to bring water in my hydro flask for me and my kids I would expect the water containers around water park to have water. WE LIVE IN ARIZONA! Water stations with water is a must. For that I give it 3 stars.

Horrible customer service my company prepaid for me and my colleagues rooms and left a credit card on file for our incidentals we called and spoke to two different people confirming this only to get to the hotel and nothing be in place. Brianna Bevins supervisor and Phil manager was no help. When i tried to explain my issue to Phil he was rude and unprofessional. As much $$ as we spent for these rooms how dare them. Now the suoervisor was not rude she was just incapable of helping me. Have to speak with GM tmrw.

We stayed here for a national sales meeting and it was nice. Be aware they have many large events happening frequently this time if year. From 2am on they apparently needed to set up for events by rolling loud clanging carts back and forth full of supplies and metals parts, and loudly assembled gas heaters and other things off the balcony of my room. With the courtyard design, everything echos and amplifies the sound. It went on for an hour or two. I called the front desk and they explained it's normal policy to set up for large events around this time in the middle of the night. They offered to give me a new room which wasn't a great option at 3am after I was in bed and unpacked. It was a nice hotel but based on not sleeping most of the night, I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel.

Visited the hotel/resort for a convention and it was just good, rooms were slightly dated, conference rooms were a little spread out, matter fact the entire venue is rather sprawling. Pool schedule was very odd and the main pool closed a 4:00pm on a Saturday and the staff basically ushered everyone out, on top of that their main attraction of the water park closed on the 1st day we arrived. In addition the onsite golf course was in horrible shape with multiple holes closed or reduced, my understanding is they had a flood that caused some of the damage along with their annual overseeding, still disappointing but did offer great views of Phoenix

Wow.

I've only stayed at this hotel once, and I was a little underwhelmed. My room was a king sized suite fairly close to the water park, and we used the pullout bed for my kids.
First the positive. The employees were everywhere and we're extremely nice. I unexpectedly swam in the pool, and someone brought out towels that I do desperately needed.
The hotel itself doesn't look like it belongs in Arizona because of all the vegetation. It was truly beautiful to look at.
The water park was small but designed really well, and was extremely fun.
Now the bad. The beds were absolutely horrible. The king wasn't even made with sheets that fit. So we were practically sleeping on just the mattress itself. The pullout bed was basically just springs, so my kids, who can sleep anywhere, complained and wound up not being able to sleep.
The outside noise was overwhelming, as we heard everything from kids screaming and running in the halls, to the elevator when it moved.
The mini bar was under lock and key and stocked full of items I wouldn't pay $4+ for, and this made the fridge unavailable. There wasn't a microwave (not a huge deal, but it has everything else)
Bottom line is that we loved the views and entertainment, but with the lack of sleep ruined our visit. It's a hotel. People go there to sleep, and the entertainment is nice but secondary.

The hotel was super busy, but the staff kept a reasonable response time and was very helpful. It's old but clean. The water park is nice and not that overly expensive to get in. The cost of items in the water park was excessively high.

The resort is extremely nice with amenities and something for everyone. Suites are huge and very comfortable and its great for conferences and groups of all sizes. Surrounded by everything you want to be a part of. Enjoy the pamper !

I have taken my family to the resort every year for the "Stay Cation" that many Phoenix locals take over the summer. This resort offers plenty of entertainment for all ages. My girls run to the water park and hit the slides while my wife and I relax next to the wave pool. They offer an integrated payment option with a water proof card that links directly to your room. I do have to say that the food prices at the pool are very expensive, but I guess that comes with the territory. I closing, if you have a family and you are looking to get away for a reasonable amount of money, this is a great option. Enjoy

The staff was not very knowledgeable. Our room was updated but the tv in the front room had to be replaced. They do not offer roll away beds only the pull out couch. The mattress had springs about to come through. Not a great experience. Also the lazy river and slides were shut down a large amount of the time we were there.

I cant believe how cheap I was able to get a room for. This place reminds me of a $1,500 a night resort I was at one time (not on my dime). There are pools all over the place. The main pool, the Oasis, is really nice. It has a lazy river and a wave pool, regular pool, hot tub, 3 giant slides...The rooms were pretty much spotless with a living room and very nice accompaniments. It is worthy of a resort and the food is great. Pricey food for sure. I would not stay at any of the other locations nearby for the price I paid here. And if I had to stay elsewhere I would probably end up trying to get into the pool.

Golf course needs some TLC. Other Phoenix are resorts are in better shape. Food selections are ok, but would not eat there more than once. Hotel room was nice, and the staff friendly. The water park would be great if you have kids...we don't, so way to crowded....

The arizona grand resort waa a terrible place for both my family and I. The whole experience from booking to check out was a total mistake. The security crew was a clown show. Everything is over prices by far. The quality of everything and i mean everything is poor as it gets.
