The food and drinks are extremely over priced. It cost $70 for a 4 margaritas and two Pepsis. The food was on par with basic bar food and was crazy expensive. The water park closes at 4pm, so you can't spend much time there. It's an OK place - I've stayed at far better for the price
Beautiful villas! They are spacious and clean. Resort grounds are well maintained. We played 18 holes and the course was enjoyable. Carts couod be nicer. And was priced high for the caliber course, but it was decent enough. Oasis is fun, slides are good, but 48 inches for the twisty one is a bummer. Littles that are 42 could easily handle it safely. My 6 year old son was not happy. They should consider a better splash pad/small kids area if they are going to not allow the 5/6/7 year olds on the mild slide. Food at the resort is very expensive and not great. We have a unit with a full kitchen, so that saved us when the kids got hungry. We could do frozen pancakes, lunchables, microwave noodles, etc. I highly recommend bringing your own alcohol to make drinks as theirs are 12-15 per cocktail. Overall, very nice resort, but could use help with the food and pool for littles.
The best place with good restraunts nearby good rooms plenty of pools and activities but its gotten to pricey lately.
Very nice place, great resort and good spot for pictures.
Needed a vacation desperately. So a staycation was it. Great for the entire family. Water park on a hot day was perfect. Service at the resort was great. Definitely making this a yearly visit.
Very nice rooms and helpful staff. The water park and various pools were awesome. Only knock is that food and beverages were criminally expensive - think stadium prices.
Just plain ignorant - A major national healthcare conference was booked at this property and yet they did not block room until the end of the conference forcing everyone to move mid-conference to other properties. Saddest part was when I talked to front-desk and general manager how they deflected the onus to every other department, specifically the front-desk manager, that is was the "conference sales department." Now if had been the General Manager he might have been an Italian ship captain. Additionally everything is EXPENSIVE and everything it driving to force you to spend money on the property (e.g. no microwaves). Save your money and stay anywhere but here - just my opinion.
Most of the staff doesn't help you. Wouldn't give you towels unless you call. Lobby bar had good amount of customers and they decided to close early because bar manager wanted to go home. Service in the water park was hard to get. So we had to go get our own items. This to me is motel 6 service. Property was great and rooms are nice.
Nice resort! Love the services. Water park nice, a little old. Could use an update.
They have a Bed Bug issue. I know 1st hand because i worked there.
Love this hotel. The rooms are spacious has a water resort
Great facility with pleasant staff, clean facilities and great amenities.
Have been here many times this place is beautiful but the parking is terrible!
We have stayed here 2x now for a basketball tournament, it s a stay-n-play . Incredible resort, beautiful grounds, but the people that work here make it amazing. Extremely nice, helpful and awesome! Highly recommend!
I appreciated their attention to detail and level of customer satisfaction. Very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
Beautiful resort and attentive staff! Our room was a wonderful paradise. We will be back!
There are much nicer resorts in Scottsdale/Phoenix area for the around the same price. The room was dirty, the atmosphere was lacking, and the room amenities did not measure up for the price.
Fun place to take a family with kids for the Waterpark.
The service here was good and they handled my requests in a timely manner. The best part is the view from the resort!
Hospitality lacking: Pulling $3k a year in biz from this place. Have had multiple problems with same staff members here and management doesn't respond.
We had a work party at their ballroom and the service, food, and experience were fantastic! The courtyard was fantastic for celebrating the holidays!
Love the water park! Wish the customer service was better about letting guests purchase additional water park passes. When I spoke to customer service, they couldn't have cared less...
Love this resort. Glad we got to honeymoon there. :)
Amazing service, spectacular room, thank you Kobie for providing us with a weekend to remember!
Pretty grounds, but very small, average rooms, and just okay food. Less than friendly customer service. Disappointed that the hours of water park and only pool bar closed early .... Peak season with prime rates should get you a full time experience. Overall, the amenities and hospitality do not match the price tag. Not an optimum experience.
Had a room ground floor by the oasis water park. Prime location, but a little loud on a holiday weekend. Golf carts get you around well and while not a lot of restaurant options, the food was good in the three we ate in. Water park works well for adults and kids. Room was nice, but sofa bed for the kids was horrible as was the main king bed. I think they just remodel, but forgot the beds. Staff everywhere is very friendly and helpful. Now the why I gave it 2 stars. Check in was at 4, we got there at 4:05 and was told our room was done but needed a quick check by a mgr. An hour and 20 minutes later our room was ready but the evening was a mess as the kids didbt have time for the pool before dinner reservations. Cut to the checkout, was overcharged for golf (fixed no problem) and overcharged for resort fees (also fixed) but a hassle. Bottom line, good resort once you get past the check in and check out processes. Front staff clearly needs better leadership.
Well, I work there ..
What can I say ... it's a beautiful place
We strive greatly to make the rooms clean for you guests..
Really nice resort with a water park within steps of your room. Great for families, would highly recommend this place.
Was not to excited about this resort. We were given a room in a building farthest from the water park. The ice machine was located outside and was broken, called Guest relations to inform them about it, was told to walk to another building to get ice. IT WAS 108 DEGREES OUT. Resort was remodeled in 2017, doesnt look like it.
Always a great experience. Only complaint is food prices at Oasis Waterpark.
Loved our stay except for the charge on my card and unanswered email about it.
Located outside the city and traffic. Several pools within the property, enough chairs and space
Was a great resort with many pools to choose from. Would highly recommend
Such a beautiful resort with the most amazingly friendly service! I highly recommended them!!
Great amenities, great rooms, great space, great service. We thoroughly enjoyed the water park and everything else that's offered. The food at our conference was absolutely wonderful and the catering services are outstanding. Everyone there is very helpful and more than willing to speak with you about anything you need. I was blown away by how personable all the employees were.
We were there last November, loved it, was off season so quiet, but read the Oasis water park times as it is closed November 1st to March 31st, not clearly stated on the web site.
Beautiful Golf course, with a number of challenging holes.
good place for the weekend. It would be better if there were more family centered activities. When the water park is shut down not anything else to do, even called front desk. Water park is fun though when up and running.
We love The Arizona Grand Spa and Resort...Thanks Nike TOC... Phoenix Bubble session 2...The entire place was Beautiful and Transporting for our visit .We will definitely be back...see you soon...Shy
Loved the room but everything is way too expensive! $18.50 for nachos???!!
Sarah at the front desk suggested a family meal at the lobby grill and we had a great dining experience. We ordered the charcuterie board, rotisserie chicken, salmon, filet mignon and blackened ribeye. Sides included fries, onion rings, sauteed Portobello's and glazed asparagus. Desert was warm chocolate chunk cookie and banana trifle. So we ordered a little bit of everything and everyone commented how well everything was prepared. Took leftovers home and would not hesitate to return again.
Very nice, clean place to visit. The staff all are accommodating and helpful. Golf course is an 18 hole course that features the front nine as an ordinary American course with nice water features, trees ect. The back nine is more of a desert course with challanges on many holes. The green fees are very fair. Would recommend.
Beautiful hotel, room was clean and comfortable. No covered parking : (
Swimming was great, but not for our 3-year-old. Only one small HOT kiddie pool and a tiny splash pad - you'd think a place like this could improve on some better amenities to entertain the toddlers.
DON'T EAT THE FOOD AT THE SWIMMING POOL. Overpriced; not good and service was terrible. The food was stale and had either no flavor or just tasted awful. Our server didn't clean up after we paid (and tipped her) and the birds had the food all over our towels, clothes and beach bags. Got an apology but not an offer to make it right. Half the swim facility closed at 3pm because they had to "shock" the pool -- which was a real downer.
Not sure if we will go here again or try somewhere else.
This place is great. The car service was super convenient, very friendly service. Our server seemed a bit grouchy during breakfast in the Lobby Grill but other than that all was great.
I had a great time at the oasis water park the slides were fun and appreciated the hospitality I received from the workers
I attended an event here on March 19th and march 20th the first night I parked my car in there Sedona parking lot no damage at this point. March 20th I came back for day 2 of the 2 day event and parked were I was instructed to the Las Palmas parking lot were my car sat all day. During the hours of 6:45am and 5:20pm there sprinkler systems came on and soaked brand new 2017 car and sat on it all day. The front of my car is like a black plastic and sitting there all day in the sun the calcium in the water stained the whole front of my car. It can t be buffed out parts have to be replaced. There sprinklers are backed up to the fence and point right in to the parking spots. I talked to JR in there management staff and I would have got further talking to a Tree then dealing with him. He started to question my integrity and pretty much put it as if I was just trying to get money out of them. Which is not true I just wanted my car fixed since at the time of this incident the car was only a month old. I was going to fight it and try and go through the courts but by time it s all said and done it would cost me more that way then just fixing it myself. So if you decide to stay at this 1 Star resort and over pay for a weekend please park your car in the middle of the parking lot So you don t go through what I went through.
Love this resort. I have had to stay here several times over the years- it s almost like being at a Disney resort! Their staff is very kind and gracious and willing to go the extra mile. They have golf carts that help you get from point A to point B- lots of walking. Great pools! The convention aspect is really great also if you re planning a big event.
Very difficult to find your way around. Bottled water was super expensive and tap water was absolutly terrible. When you in a desert climate this is really bad.
The room was great but the explanation of how to find my room by the bellman was certainly lacking. Parking was horrible after we came back from dinner. Later that night we attempted to call room service and no one answered the phone. The hotel itself was beautiful but not worth the high price.
Very nice golf course. The only drawback is no driving range. Just a hitting net to warm up.
First time in Arizona and we stayed here with the kids. Staff is really friendly and rooms are nice. The water park is pretty fun for all ages. The food and drinks are outrageously priced when you enter the water park. $8.25 for a corn dog unbelievable
Best staycation we ever had. Something for everyone. Husband's favorite golf course, kids loved the water park and movie night. The spa was just ok ... I've been to better.
Out dated.... rooms were fair at best
For the price you might want to go elsewhere
This morning I noticed the shower was dirty. Soap scum where the soap would be placed. Big black ring in tub. Next no hot water for 20 minutes. Front desk said they would take care of it. Came back 7 hours later. Shower is warm. Safe to say I would not return. Would have been nice to be at cleaner hotel. Remind me of a motel over a hotel.
Huge resort and so much to do! Like maybe have a casino party for the holidays with your company! Go to Aunt Chiladas too for great Mexican food!
Mini bar was open with the previous guest food in their. Had several bugs in the room and got bitten up. Not at all happy with the customer service.
After a mix up on Reservations I was taken care of professionally and with out issue. This Resort is ran very Professionally and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location for whatever you want to do!
Beautiful resort with spacious and clean rooms. Lots of small pools close to the rooms. Water park was lots of fun. Employees are friendly and responsive. Food options were not great and very expensive.
Great sized rooms and great pools and water park. A bit dated in decor but overall a great place for staycations!
Great pool for the fam, golf n spa for relaxing. Came here many times for events. Arizona Grand offers conference center and large tent spaces for large corporate or party events. Finally came back to enjoy remodeled rooms and pool. Pool area was way better than it looked as s visitor.
It is a humongous resort right off the 202 east. We felt it was a very safe and the employees are kind. We attended a work event there yearly and always have a wonderful time!
The water park side of the hotel is great everything else is very pricey during the high season
Great place. Good gyl and beautiful views. Close to everything
The stay was nice but did not appreciate the unexpected resort fee
Visited this place to go to the water park for a family member's birthday. Easy access from the freeway. Not in a neighborhood where I would recommend venturing off the premises at night. The water park was nice for kids, a bit crowded on this July afternoon. Food and drink were expensive, especially if you have a number of people to feed. If staying at the resort, I would recommend bringing food and drink and escaping to your room the water park for food and drinks.
Nice resort, nice staff, nice golf course. Only dislike is the $25 per day per person resort fee. We played 36 holes of golf each day, paying greens fees and did not use any other amenities. Next time we'll stay off site.
Rooms were nice. Drinks at the pool outrageously expensive. Food very expensive. The restaurant screwed up our mothers day brunch and can't answer their phone. Room service never brought our breakfast. Bell boys were awesome.
