great place, always a joy to go there for conferences.

Very friendly staff and they r awesome at accommodating.when we stay there.we stay there 2 a year love the rustic cabins.

Friendly. Convenient location. Beautiful scenery. Great restaurant.

Buffett was nowhere near its old standards, barely anything on the table. No fire and place was cold.

I attended a professional education day in the conference room. Very nice place, with excellent catering. They provided gluten free, vegan options for the attendees. I was quite impressed.

Old orchard hotel and spa is located in beautiful Wolfville, NS. The room was spacious and comfortable with two queen beds, refrigerator, coffee machine and cable TV. In the hotel there was free WiFi, a restaurant, bar and indoor pool with spa. The service was excellent.

I wasn't really staying. My grandparents were but it was really cute and nice in the cabin

Blomidom Room for a Christmas Banquet. Great food, excellent service. Any time you can spend here, do it!

This place offers outstanding views, and is conveniently located near some wonderful vineyards and craft breweries, and just a few minutes drive from historic Wolfville and Acadia University.
The staff at the Inn are very friendly and accommodating, however the Inn itself is very dated. I have never used the spa services, but the pool area is dingy, something even my kids commented on. There is no real room service (you can order food but must collect it yourself), and the food in the restaurant is no more than average, and pricey for the quality.

Excellent location with everything you'd like in a hotel / motel.
Quiet, comfortable rooms, accommodating staff, reasonable prices, and great food. I'll stay here, over others in the area, every time I'm in town.

Hotel room was great and front desk were pleasant. The restaurant seemed understaffed for a full hotel with both volleyball and basketball teams staying the weekend. Order took over 45 minutes and only came after we asked three times.

Food was good, food service was not. Rooms are nice, and beds are excellent. Got Married and had reception here. Was informed last minute we had to clean up right after the reception, told us we could lite the fire place until day of wedding said no. Staff was not helpful or forth coming with information until we had no other choice. Guest rooms that were reserved in group not available upon a rival, tried to bill our master bill for 3 guest rooms. The list goes on. Do not recommend!

Nice rooms a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. The Spa was amazing. Great facial from Katie and a massage therapy session from Theresa!! So relaxing and therapeutic!!!

We had dinner here at the main restaurant.
The staff were amazing. I had a seafood pasta which was very good. My wife had the salmon which was excellent. A million dollar view of the Minas Basin while you eat. We enjoyed ourselves .

Enjoy the cabins but a leaking AC caused a wet floor all week and no fix was provided. Staff are generally good but sometimes inconsistent. Good overall value. We will be back again next year.

Rustic style rooms with a modern bathroom. Service was great, and the staff very friendly. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and evening dinner. Nadine our evening server was amazing and quite attentive.Highly recommend the seafood and steak platter, and making a reservation early so you can get a wonderfull view next to the giant windows. Pool was very warm and open just long enough so the little kids had to go to bed and adults can have a quiet swim. Will be returning again due to all the above and the perfect location to the vineyards in the area.

Very good service and views are amazing but the hotel rooms are old

Room very nice, staff friendly, food very good but a bit on the pricy side. Cancellation policy not team friendly but atmosphere and staff very nice and accommodating.

Staff were not friendly feel like they were really short staffed. Paid premium rates and one day they didnt even clean our room just offered us clean towels. The day we were leaving they tried to get in to clean the room at 9 a.m. We were warned about hockey teams that weekend but felt they would keep the situation under control it didnt happen.. wrote a private message to the general manager and he did not even respond. Would not recommend this inn to anyone.

I stay here once a year for Apple Blossom in the summer cabins. There is nothing fancy about them, and the showers are less than astounding, but they do the job. Beds are comfortable and the room is clean.

The Old Orchard Inn looks quite nice in the front lobby and other public halls/restaurant, it has an enjoyable rustic feel and look. A family wedding we attended here was beautiful, and all the food was well presented, and delicious, and having our room so close was convenient. For the wedding on its own, I would have given more than 2 stars. However, this 2 star review is in regards to my hotel room. The room itself was nice enough, and the furniture matched the theme of the rest of the inn. We even had a small balcony, which is always nice to have. But I was disappointed with how dark and dim the room was, even with all the lights on. You could see that some of the light fixtures in the ceiling were either missing some light bulbs, or that burnt out ones had not been replaced. The other thing that disappointed me (even though I realize it's harder to control) was how damp the room was! Getting into bed at night was very uncomfortable, as all the bedding was damp and clammy to touch... Even stepping out of bed onto the carpet felt damp to my feet. So my overall impression of the room was that it was cold, dark, and damp. But I think the thing that bothered me the most was with how much housekeeping entered my room. They entered our room while we were attending the wedding even though we did NOT hang the "please clean my room" sign on the door. The next morning when we were getting ready to leave, we made several trips to and from the car with our luggage... And during our last trip to the room we discovered that housekeeping was already in our room cleaning everything. This was 20 minutes before the checkout time (which we had not done yet), and this made doing a final check around the room for anything we may have missed very awkward. Not to mention that we now could not use the bathroom that was still technically ours and paid for, for that remaining 20 minutes. This cleaning service was unwanted, and even felt aggressive. This location was nice for the wedding, but if I am ever just visiting Nova Scotia in the future, this place would not be my first choice.

But.... overall the whole place needs love. Mattress was very uncomfortable....they need to upgrade the place especially if the region continues this beautiful wine tourisme. People will come. But seems like renovations are done half way. Bathroom : new bath and tile but very old door with old painting that doesn t match at all... no hooks to hang the towels... no bar to help when you get out the bath , which is quite deep.... humidity is high in the room upon arrival. You can feel it in the mattress and bedsheet. The hot tub doesn t look inviting. Wood deck/patio around it is greenish ... water is very hot 104, and is not clear ... breakfast in the morning still has the boring plain grocery white or brown bread... for the price and with all the wonderful bread now available breakfast should have been better. This being said not a lot of options in hotel rooms in the area. It is mostly Bed n Breakfast. So.... if you are aware of this and expecting it you will have a nice stay and staff is really nice.

Outside looks awful, inside is very outdated but has some beautiful features.. Booked the "suite" for the jacuzzi tub but the jets didn't work, complained to front desk, was not told we would need reservations for the restaurant, after leaving and Paying the bill the took $250 offour visa but can't tell us why as they have no record of it.. Must be a thief on staff as no one knows where the money went. Beware of getting ripped off.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had...and I stay in hotels often for work. Be prepared for a double charge at check in and confirm your room before you take your keys. I booked my room with two double beds 3 months ago and was given a room with one bed. There is a pull out with no bedding. Nancy at the front desk was rude, gave me no information, didn't even point me in the direction of my room. NEVER AGAIN!!

The staff here are amazing. Rooms are okay too. Beautiful view if you get a room on the north side.

Was at their barn for a wedding. It was a good spot of a country wedding. Can't speak for much else as just the ceremony was held there.

Visited the inn as part of a convention and had a great time. The wine was rather needlessly and excessively expensive but I enjoyed my visit overall.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff who helped us find fun things to do locally. Stayed in one of the summer cottages which have one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in for a hotel.

Mediocre at best. Outdated furniture, horrible bed, dirty pool and room service not so much. You call and order then have to go to restaurant to pick up. Mind you they can send someone to bvb your room to let you know it's ready when your phone doesn't work. The bathroom was updated though, complete with large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap hanging from the wall. Bed sheets didn't properly fit and mattress felt like it was old with a mattress topper stuck on, maybe that's why the sheets don't fit. Picture includes a $9 piece of "cheesecake" topped with chocolate shards and a purple hew lavender drizzle- good luck finding it!

Enjoyed it there. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The seafood chowder is absolutely delicious.

Place is old and looks like a barracks. it was damp and moldy feeling. The carpets were dirty in the halls. The hot tub and pool are nondescript. The spa is nothing to brag about you can see the entrance in the picture. The staff is not unfriendly but they certainly don't go out of their way for anything. Good place for a hockey team on the way back from a game

They have an apple orchard behind the hotel. It is great.

If you are staying there or just passing by, try their restaurant. It is great.

It's nice and the design of the building is great. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly

The room was part of a gift from my employer for xmas. My wife and I tried to sleep but the bed was so worn out, the heater rattled so loud and the fridge clunked every time it cycled (and it cycled frequently) that we gave up trying to sleep and at 4am we got up and drove home to halifax. The 2 stars are for the Inn... 5 stars go to the bartender, she was bang on with customer service skills that are 2nd to none.

This is an OK place to stay. It could use some updating but it's clean and people are friendly.

Went for a wedding reception. Nice place but holy expensive drinks.

Pretty good spot to stop with the kids (aged 4 and almost 3) on our way to Digby.

Rooms were comfy and clean, had everything we needed.

We ordered our breakfasts via their website for pick up and a specific time and then brought it back to our rooms to enjoy in bed. Food was ok.

Before checking out, we booked a time (45 minute blocks) to go for a swim with the kids and they enjoyed that a lot. Pool area was clean and also had everything we needed.

Rooms are bugs, view is outstanding, personnel is ok but Wallis are to thin, you will ear everything happening in the other rooms.

Very Friendly staff , rooms were clean but could use an update.

The food is overpriced for what it is...and there seems to be a lot of noise..kids running up and down hallways..hanging out in hallways talking loudly. They advertise facilities which close early or not open at all

The old orchard Inn had a wonderful conference room accompanying over 100 Michelin employees. The food was delicious and the staff were very professional.

Fantastic staff and food for large or small groups. I have worked with them providing for our groups up to 365 people.

Not sure where the rooms are that are pictured in the ads. My room was grimey. Very dated furniture. Air is heavy in the rooms. My room smelt like smoke. Apparently the whole place used to be smoking, and you can still smell it everywhere. Hot tub was closed and this was the only reason I booked. Would have been great to have a warning in advance. Had a drive up room, which was fitting, because this hotel feels much more like a motel. Not at all worth what they are charging. This is a 1.5 star hotel. Would never stay here again. Attempted to cancel my reservation moments after entering the room because I was so disappointed, but the clerk advised me I would have to call and deal with the 3rd party I booked with. Spent 40 mins waiting for hotels.com to try to cancel, but after they didnt answer, was too exhausted (checked in late) to continue waiting on hold.

Two days ago I was swept off my feet by my boyfriend to get engaged at our favorite place to stay," The Old Orchard Inn & Spa....
Was an absolute pleasure being there for our special day and can't wait to return!

Attended a staff function here, good food, nice staff, clean and quiet, I'd stay here again!

The buffet brunch was fresh and deliscious. Their event room was spacious with a nice view

Very comfy beds...not a great selection in the restaurant for families. Gym is excellent..no free weights but eliptical and treadmill. Pool and hot tub was a nice plus.
