I've only stayed at this hotel once, and I was a little underwhelmed. My room was a king sized suite fairly close to the water park, and we used the pullout bed for my kids.
First the positive. The employees were everywhere and we're extremely nice. I unexpectedly swam in the pool, and someone brought out towels that I do desperately needed.
The hotel itself doesn't look like it belongs in Arizona because of all the vegetation. It was truly beautiful to look at.
The water park was small but designed really well, and was extremely fun.
Now the bad. The beds were absolutely horrible. The king wasn't even made with sheets that fit. So we were practically sleeping on just the mattress itself. The pullout bed was basically just springs, so my kids, who can sleep anywhere, complained and wound up not being able to sleep.
The outside noise was overwhelming, as we heard everything from kids screaming and running in the halls, to the elevator when it moved.
The mini bar was under lock and key and stocked full of items I wouldn't pay $4+ for, and this made the fridge unavailable. There wasn't a microwave (not a huge deal, but it has everything else)
Bottom line is that we loved the views and entertainment, but with the lack of sleep ruined our visit. It's a hotel. People go there to sleep, and the entertainment is nice but secondary.
